One Piece:The Fourth Brother

(okay just a headsup. Buggy is extremely ooc. Done that on purpose. This one i struggled with and it will show. See more explenation at the end. I hope you can stick with me as my writing gets hopefully better.)

"Stupid Straw-Hat! I hate him! Why do i keep being reminded of that red-haired bastard!"

Bugy is seen kicking stuff around in anger, as he paces around his room.

"~Be careful, now. Wouldn't want you to burst a blood vessel now would we?~" sounded an eerie voice.

"What?! Who's there?!"

Aden appearing like a mirage did not reply. He merely stood in the middle of the room.

"You? What the hell are you doing here!? How did you even get here? What do you want!?" Buggy fired off questions in rapid succession. While most would say he was angry and ready to attack, Aden could tell he was a bit nervous.

"Relax, Buggy the Clown. I just wanna talk." spoke Aden holding his hands in a placating gesture.

Being slightly curious, Buggy simply raised his eyebrows and turned his head in silent question.

Aden, seeing he had Buggy's attention, he explained his plan.

How he wanted Buggy to be his ally behind the scenes. To cause trouble for the World Government and the Navy.

He also mentioned Roger and his crew, and that he knew Shanks personally.

He mentioned a lot of ideas for how to burn the World Government, trying to get Buggy on board. Hell maybe even join their crew.

Having spent a while talking Buggy was left thinking.

After a couple minutes of thought, Buggy gave his answer.

"I REFUSE! What did you think ya moron?! That i would roll over and help some upstart brat?!" shouted Buggy in Aden's face.

"*sigh* I kinda expected you'd say that.." spoke Aden with a neutral expression.

"Well i tried. If you change your mind, just call out my name. But if you choose to go against me or my captain, then the next time we meet, i'll kill you, Buggy the Clown." said Aden coldly as he shimmered away.

Near an old pet store, Luffy, Zoro and Nami were talking to the mayor himself.

"And that's how it all went to hell." the mayor finished his story.

Suddenly a loud roar sounded nearby.

Turning around, the group saw a huge lion with a man on it's back. The lion attacked the group, swinging his paw at the cage Luffy was still locked inside of, and sent it flying.

The dog Chouchou attacked the lion, fighting with all his strength to protect the shop.

Nami ran away with the mayor, Luffy was sent flying and Zoro seemingly disappeared.

After a short time, Chouchou was laying on the ground badly beaten. With that Mohji and his lion turned to leave

Shortly after, Aden is seen walking through the abandoned town. After his talk with Buggy he realized, that he was terrible at talking to people. But after considering the fact he spent his whole life among bandits, and even then he mostly trained alone in the woods, his disappontment disappeared.

"Whatever. I'll leave the talking to Luffy, i guess. He's a bit dense, but he has a way with people." thought Aden to himself.

With a scrunched nose he noticed a smell of smoke in the air.

Deciding to see what happened, he flew in the direction of the fire.

Landing near a burning pet store, Aden noticed a badly beaten dog nearby, staring at the burning building with tears in his eyes.

With a sigh, Aden extended his hand towards the blaze.

"Vacuum Sphere." intoned Aden as a huge sphere of compressed air appeared around the building, instantly smothering the flames.

Knowing that releasing the sphere would reignite the flame, Aden instead cooled the air around, to form mist. Pushing the mist through a small hole he made in the sphere, he spread it all over the building, slowly putting out any embers.

With that done, he slowly let go of the sphere.

Seeing the fire gone, made the dog very happy and thankful to the stranger.

Approaching the dog, Aden took out a first-aid kit he always carries around. Seeing Aden get closer, the dog stayed calm feeling no threat from the man.

Aden cleaned the dog's wounds, and wrapped them in bandages after putting a healing salve on the injuries.

Picking the dog up, Aden began to walk in a direction the dog pointed with his head.

From around the corner, a figure was watching Aden help the dog.

At first she was about to intervene, thinking he would hurt the dog. She remembered his violent nature. But she was frozen in place, as she saw him provide first aid to the dog.

"Maybe he's not so bad." thought Nami before leaving to find the others.

Back at the Buggy hideout, things were looking dire. The mayor was nearly killed, and Luffy and Zoro were having trouble dealing with Buggy.

"Hahahaha!! Is that all you got Straw-Hat!?" mocked Buggy " I thought you wanted to be the King. With that level of power you oughta just give up!" he shouted in anger.

"Never! We will beat you!" shouted Luffy with determination.

"~Is this your answer then, Buggy?~" was an etheral voice heard, speaking as if all around them.

"You choose to stand in our way?" spoke Aden as he miraged into view.

"You again!?" shouted Buggy.

"What's going on? Did you talk to him or something?" asked the Moss, i mean Zoro.

"Yeah. I asked him to cooperate with us. But warned him, that if he chose to go against us, i'd kill him." answered Aden honestly, knowing that lying would be counter-productive.

"Shouldn't that be our Captains decision, Aden?"

"Normally you'd be right. But i had an opportunity to talk with the clown. And apparently he made his choice." spoke Aden with honesty.

"So what now? We can't really hurt him. He keeps splitting." said Luffy with frustration.

"I said i would kill him if he got in our way." answered Aden coldly.

"Do you have to? I mean..."

"Just go and let me handle this, Captain. said Aden with a sigh

"Fine. We'll leave him to you. Come on Zoro. Let's find Nami." said Luffy with a sigh as he turned to leave.

"What?!...okay, fine." said Zoro sheathing his swords.

"I hope you know what you're doing." he said to Aden before leaving.

"HEY GET BACK HERE! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!!" screamed a very pissed off clown.

"Shut up. I will give you one chance. One. To change your mind about cooperating with us."

said Aden with a bloodchilling tone.

"And if i don't!?" came a defiant reply.

"You die."

Seeing the seriousness in Aden's eyes, and knowing how strong he was, Buggy honestly started to consider his options.

It was a few minutes later, that he spoke.

"So i either join your crew, or you kill me right here?" asked Buggy after calming down.

"You joining the crew would be ultimately Luffy's decision, and you'd have to earn our trust. All I am asking is your cooperation from the shadows." Aden explained calmly.

"Is he really able to do it? Find the One Piece? Become king?" asked Buggy.

"Yes. I believe in him. He WILL do it." replied Aden with absolute confidence.

Buggy looked at his hands, remembering his own ambition of reaching the treasure. Not even becoming King himself, just being there, catching a bit of that light.

Reflecting on his life the past years, he became disappointed in himself. "What the hell happened to me? Where did i become so pathetic?! I wanna join them, i do. But do i deserve this chance?" thought Buggy to himself, not even nkticing the tears, streaming down his face.

Seeing Buggy cry, Aden was shocked.

"What the hell?! Am i really that convincing? Is this the power of The Protagonist Voice!? I thought only Luffy should have that?" Aden thought in confusion.

"I have decided." said Buggy with conviction

"If your captain allows it, i would join you." he spoke with determination.

Seeing his renewed life in his eyes, Aden just smiled, and told Buggy to pack his stuff.

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN, HE WANTS TO COME WITH US??!! screamed Zoro and Nami.

"Exactly what i said." replied Aden calmly, standing next to Buggy who had his head bowed.

"In case you forgot, he tried to kill us not even an hour ago!" said Zoro angrily.

"I did. And i'm sorry. Aden has reminded me of my old dream. And this is a chance i do not want to miss. Not again!" spoke Buggy with a nervous,but determined tone.

"How could we even trust you!" asked Nami angrily

"I believe him." spole Luffy suddenly.

"What?" " Why!?" came confused replies of Nami and Zoro.

" I don't know. I do not see the same guy that tried to kill us anymore. He feels different somehow." spole Luffy, carefully inspecting Buggy.

Buggy for his part simply stood there, head slightly bowed, with a hopefull look on his face.

"Yep. I've decided. He can join us!" said Luffy finally, grinning ear to ear.

"Seriously?" asked Zoro and Nami.

"Sure. It will take a bit to get us to trust him, but i see nothing wrong with giving him a chance." spole Luffy with a smile.

*sniff*

Hearing the sound, everyone turned towards Buggy. He had tears flowing down his face, and snot coming out lf his nose.

"Really? Thank you so much!"Buggy spoke with a happy tone.

"Well that seems honest enough." said Zoro, with an amused smirk, calming down.

"Well i still don't trust him." came from Nami as she crossed her arms.

"See? I told you he'd agree." said Aden to Buggy with a small smirk.

After getting on their boat, they set off. The atmosphere was a bit tense with the new addition to the crew. But seeing Buggy chat with Aden, seemingly becoming fast friends, somehow, everyone calmed down a little.

With a setting Sun, one thought was on everyone's mind.

"I wonder what the next trouble is gonna be?"

(Aand done. I would like to say that i struggled with this one. I noticed I am terrible at writing character interactions. I wanted to change the set story, otherwise why bother with a fanfic, right?

I mentioned before that some, if not most characters will be very OOC. So far the most noticable was Buggy.

I know his decision felt rushed, but he and Aden spent hours talking. I just did not write that conversation.

And Buggy is so different simply because in the end of the day, this is my story. My fanfic.

I wanted to see how i could change the course of the story if i change some key points. And this being my first fanfic. Ever. It is basically my tool for getting better at writing. And if you all like it, all the better.

Now i have rambled and said pretty much what i wanted to say. I would be thankful for any feedback you might have. Once again thanks for reading and i hope you enjoyed)
