Chapter 3: Laying the Foundation
Vee decided to use the time in between trying to get them a new spot and retracing his steps by going to the old church where their original base of operations was. He had to admit that he was feeling a mix of nervousness and nostalgia as he saw the building up ahead but that quickly changed when he saw the Ultor symbol on the outside and the billboard on the slope leading upward.
"Stilwater Memorial Church, birthplace of the Third Street Saints."
Vee had to stop himself from going in there and demanding who was in charge as he looked around; It was after night and most of everyone had gone home though the Church was locked up tight. "Those….Assholes…..Thankfully what I want isn't inside…" He muttered to himself as he climbed over the chainlink fence and into where the Church's backyard was. "Come on…Hopefully no one turned this up when they made my crib into this shithole…" Vee thought as he then grabbed an old shovel from the caretakers shed and headed towards a gravestone with a stone fleur du lis as it's head before starting to dig.
The sound of dirt shifting and laboured breathing was all that could be heard in the night's breeze until finally…
THUNK!
"Bingo…" Vee smirked as he then reached down into the hole and pulled out a large wooden box that he had previously buried there as part of a stash. "And here the other guys thought I was crazy to stash stuff here…" He then cracked open the box and his smile turned to a frown when the contents were revealed, the entire interior looked like it had been charred black; What would have been at least $50,000 worth of stashed away money was gone, what looked like a cane had wilted and eroded away into something unusable. "No…Nonononono! It should be here, it should still be here!" He stammered nervously as he then felt that anxiety quickly reverse into anger as he turned up a pile of burned and tattered rags; It looked like the remnants of a bandana but someone took a lighter to it. "No…I swear if someone even touched my-"
He froze when he looked up and saw that the storage place he had kept his pride and joy: The Hammerhead that had been his chariot when he first rolled with the Saints was gone, his two theories were that someone either tipped off the cops to get it crushed, Or someone salvaged it for parts. "When I find the motherfucker who messed with my stuff….There won't be anywhere to hide!" He thought angrily as the tattered fabric was now ash in the wind.
He stopped briefly to smear dirt on the Ultor sign and then headed for the car that he took, he needed to unwind and he needed something to take his mind off of things badly. He did stunt jumps in the sedan until it was completely shot to hell but it hardly made a change, he then took various offers he saw online for Chopshopping cars and tried to cause some Mayhem that didn't help a bit. By the time that a few hours had past; He had performed every kind of Trafficking, Ho-ing and acts of physical violence both on the ground and in the air.
——The Night After——
"So the Church is a no go but it can't be THAT hard to find real estate in a place like this…But I can wait until after I blow off some of this steam…" He took off on a bike that he managed to swipe and headed towards where the Ultor Dome since he had heard talks from people in the bar about a fight club being held there and in the Penitentiary.
That day was the day where Vee earned a title in the Fight Club community as the Stilwater Butcher when he beat down mobs of inmates, wrestlers and even the likes of guys in hot dog costumes, it came up to the last member of this fight club: A Monster of an Inmate known only as The Indomitable Giant, a Death Row inmate at the Penitentiary who had just managed to get his fix of Loa Dust and ready to squish someone while he was higher than a skyscraper. "You made a biiiig mistake trying to mess with someone like me, little man." He sneered as he then started to crack his knuckles.
Vee was hardly amused; "Just try and make this fun, I've had to deal with glass jaws and yappers all the way here." He admitted bluntly; Nearly everyone who he came across was often trying to mob him in the fights but they very quickly went down after a blow or two after talking a big game, though just like Johnny was; Giant was a Death Row Inmate and built like "A goddamn bulldozer in a prison uniform" as quoted by the guards.
The lumbering Inmate rushed at Vee with the intent to bearhug his opponents bones into powder but grunted as he felt nothing when the Saint dipped under him and then swung a palm under his chin. "Sombitch!"
"Come on Death Row! I thought you were gonna squish me?" Vee taunted as he slapped his chest, though he quickly remembered where he was when Giant turned around.
Giant managed to grab a weapon and slammed a metal chair on top of Vee's head, knocking him to the ground and started to stomp him into the concrete floor like he was a burning rag. "Heh…So much for the trash talkin'" He chuckled before spitting on his lifeless body.
"….Oooooooow…." Vee groaned out in pain as nearly every person in that prison had to double take when they saw the Saint climb to his feet and then leaned back to stretch with his spine making a loud CRACK! "Okay…Note to self…Unlimited Health and Stamina hurts like a sonuvabitch!" He thought to himself before looking to Giant who was currently questioning everything that just happened and that didn't help when his brain was fried from the Loa Dust. "I think you should have a seat…." Vee offered as he walked over to Giant who had dropped the chair.
"Y-You should be dead! I felt your spine break like a glowstick!" Giant stammered as the cocktail of fear and drug induced paranoia were kicking his ass.
"Yeah, I can tell you're coming down so I'll help you out." Vee quipped as he then dashed forward and wrapped his arms around GIant's large waist, hoisting the man up into the air and then back into the ground again with a Powerbomb. "Night Night, Jerkwad!" He snarked before looking to everyone else who had gone silent in outright terror and shock at seeing a 6ft man put the smackdown on the 7ft titan of a prisoner. "Alright, who's next?"
"You uh….You're good, you win!" The overseer of the Fight Club quickly placated once he realised that this guy can and would have easily folded anyone else in this place. "H-Here, just take this and leave!" He quickly protested and shoved a thick wad of bills and a slip of paper in Vee's hands.
"What the hell is this?" Vee asked as he opened it up and it said "Bare Knuckles! Your fist plus their face equals results!"
"It's a name of a shop we have an arrangement with, you say the password and you'll earn a steep discount on what they have on offer…."
Vee cocked his head a little; "Bare Knuckles…I think I saw a sign for it back when I sprang Johnny, I should probably look into that…" He remarked as he climbed onto his bike and rode off back towards the city; Planning on making sure the Police knew what they were dealing with. "Johnny, you there?"
The person on the other line of the phone was heavily out of breath and clearly not in the mood; "This better be good, Vee!" Johnny before the sounds of glugging could be heard and a gasp of relief.
"Uh…You okay there? I can always call back." Vee asked as he turned a corner and eyed up one of the car shops.
"Yeah, I've been caught up with something and we can't exactly turn off the faucet now." Johnny remarked bluntly as a slap could be heard and a quiet but still angry "Johnny!" was heard in the background.
"Oh….God, why'd you even pick up the phone?" Vee asked as he winced at the realisation that he caught Johnny in the middle of his "downtime"
"Because if you're calling, it's normally for a good goddamn reason….So what is it?" Johnny asked as Vee tried to focus on the road, swerving past an old man in a beat up minivan.
"I checked in on our old crib, Ultor got to it first and turned it into one of those goddamn tourist traps…So that's a no go."
"Mother-So that's a bust then…Thankfully I've got something that might be able to do just nicely; There's an abandoned mission house in Old Stillwater that is up for grabs." Johnny suggested with a hint of optimism heard in his voice.
"Don't you think that old, religious buildings are kinda been-there, done-that?" Vee asked as he stopped to park near the sidewalk where a Bare Knuckles was.
"Who said anything about stayin' there? I heard that a while back, an earthquake managed to knock part of the city below sea level, and rather than clearing out the rubble like you'd think, the city just said "Fuck it" and built over it. There's an abandoned hotel below the mission that'll work just fine for us."
"A whole hotel? That sounds almost too good to be believable, why do I feel like there's a catch somewhere?" Vee asked as he got off his bike and leaned against the wall to finish up the conversation.
"Well, the funny thing about abandoned buildings means that rent control and security is pretty lax there so…We're evicting the current tenants…It's most likely gonna be bums so it might be better to watch each others backs so they do-What?" Vee could hear Aisha and Johnny negotiating with Johnny grumbling something. "I'll get back to you, Vee…Aisha wants to make sure we finish up here first."
Vee hung up the phone without needing to say more; "Geez…Bagging a pop-star like that? Wish I could get THAT kinda luck thrown my way…" Vee mentally complained as he headed into the melee shop and was surprised at what he saw; The wall was lined with everything that could and would be used as a weapon that didn't fire bullets: baseball bats both wooden and metal, katanas and brass knuckles. "Whoa…I think I found my Fight Club Heaven…"
"Welcome to Bare Knuckles, where the only thing more blunt than our customer service is the Force Trauma you'll dish out…" A rather bored looking clerk declared as they saw Vee wander in; "New guy, you looking for anything special or you just want protection?"
Vee then looked to the clerk and shrugged; "I need to get something in case a gun jams…Mainly because my fist plus their faces equals results." He mentioned while slipping that phrase in to clue in the clerk.
Once they heard the passphrase, they gestured their head towards the further part of the counter and out of the way of the cameras. "You the new winner then…Guess I win the pool this time." The clerk grinned as they brought out a large box with one of each item in their store including pepper spray and the chain from a chainsaw. "So, because you're our new champ; I'm gonna give you access to the big boy toys."
"Is that because everyone who comes here's not that good of a fighter?" Vee asked with a smirk as he eyed over the other stuff; He was currently torn between the classiness of a katana or the up close "fuck you" that came with using a Chainsaw.
"That and the fact that if you of all people are strong enough to beat the living shit out of a death row inmate, I'm not gonna question skill…I ain't an idiot." The clerk added as they watched Vee look over the gear; "So you got your basics like bats, standard knives, the keepaways like your pepper sprays and tasers…But why settle for that?"
"Why indeed? This does look nice…." Vee mentioned as he picked up a test katana off of the wall and gave it a few swings; "Light…Certainly feels pretty cool to use one."
"Yeah, well just make sure you're careful…You start swinging that thing around and cops'll think you're running with the Ronin." The clerk warned as they kept watch on the outside.
"I heard about them, what exactly do they do around here?" Vee asked with curiosity; "They drug dealers or something?"
"Man, you've handled fight clubs and you haven't seen one of them? Then again I don't blame you…The Ronin often hang out at those casinos…Gambling rackets if I bet right." The Clerk mentioned; "Though I'd be careful nonetheless.." They warned as Vee left and followed Johnny's directions to the Mission House on the outskirts of Old Stilwater.
—Some time later—
Vee hopped off the bike and fist bumped Johnny; "Glad to see you could make it." He snarked as he placed the helmet on his bike.
"Ha-dee-fuckin-ha…Eesh kept giving me grief about wanting to break her "Record" now that I'm out of the joint…."
"Gat, I seriously do not wanna know what's going on there…." Vee protested as he was trying to focus; "Anyway, you said we have to clear these guys out?"
"Yep, I checked the place out a little before you got here…Turns out I was right; Most of the guys in here are bums, vagrants and the occasional want for work kinda guys…Nothing that a few sprays of an SMG can't fix…" Johnny detailed as he grabbed his gun.
"Hold on, we don't necessarily have to kill 'em, there is an easier way to do it…plus it sticks it to Ultor and their public image in the process." Vee explained as he lowered Johnny's gun though he did notice the look of confusion.
"…I'm listening…." Johnny decided to hear him out with a hint of skepticism as he decided to pocket his pistol for the time being.
"Okay, we CAN just go in and shoot up every vagrant we find but that's when I thought about it…." Vee then tapped the money button on his phone and suddenly he had a stack of bills in hand; "What if we just pay them off to go cause trouble in Ultor buildings? Go party, do whatever it is they want…Because it'll be THEIR problem to deal with while we get the building here." He explained and then handed over the money to Gat. "Besides, when you hand each guy in there 100 grand…You bet that they're gonna listen."
"Hold up…This is a literal 100k…You wanna just give that away? And how'd you even get ENOUGH to consider this thing a plan?!" Johnny asked since this was a lot of money in the long run, especially since he didn't know how Vee got it.
"It's uh…It's a long story…"
"Then simplify it!" Johnny frowned since no explanation bugged him more than a vague one.
"Alright, alright…But this stays between us….Got it?" Vee warned Johnny with more seriousness in his voice than he ever thought he could bring up to him.
Johnny looked at Vee and could tell that he was absolutely adamant on this. "Alright, on my honor as a Saint and your buddy…This stays between us…"
Vee took a deep breath since this was the hard part to explain; "I never…actually went into a coma at first after the the Boat Explosion…I technically full on died." He confessed and explained about what happened; Meeting Lin again, the Engine melding with his body and giving him his abilities. "And then I found myself in a hospital bed on a prison island…So yeah…That's kind of why I wanted to keep this part of me under wraps for now, at least."
Johnny was shellshocked, he had almost lost another homie and he didn't even realise it. "Wait…So, you came back from the dead…"
"Yes."
"And now you have an infinite life and can practically summon up as much money as you want…On top of having a neverending bullet clip."
"Yep…."
"Vee…You are either on the most fucked up of drugs or you're just crazy." Johnny admitted; "That is just….Wow…"
"Look, I know it's a lot to take in…Believe me, I was shocked when I found out…But it's because of Lin that I was able to get it...Plus I can do this." Vee mentioned as he then started to tap the money button and watched as his bank account grow.
"Holy shit, you're serious…" Johnny blinked as he realised that Vee hadn't been lying. "So…What happens now?"
"Well, we carry on with the plan, the guys in there could probably cause some trouble if we pay them to do it…But outside of that, we're getting ourselves a crib." Vee explained as he then wandered through the opening that lead down into the sunken part of the building.
The Hotel that Johnny had talked about was the very image of a shanty town; buildings that were cobbled together by broken wood and stolen parts along with a large fire in the middle for light and heat. "You sure that we can do this?" Johnny leaned in to ask Vee who seemed more confident than anything.
"As long as we don't try to piss 'em off then we're golden…." Vee whispered back to him before calling out to the others; "Alright, everyone here listen up!" He yelled out for the nearby tenants to gather around. "From hereon out, this hotel belongs to the Third Street Saints! But we aren't going to leave you high and dry…in fact, we have a job for you all."
"You're gonna pay us…right?"
"I'm not a monster, of course I am!" Vee assured them and then pulled out a stack of thousands and handed it out to the first vagrant; "You each get one stack of these and in return, you go out there and party…Go to the Ultor buildings, high society or whatever and make sure you enjoy…Stick it to Ultor for forcing you in here off of the benches, alleyways and Freckle Bitches parking lots."
"So you're paying us…just to go away from here?" One Vagrant asked; "No catch? Just take the money and fuck around?"
"Absolutely, Ultor's taking this place and sterilising it but it's also pushed you out of the notice of others so you're not exactly going to catch a break…So go make it an "Up Your's" to them all." Vee mentioned as he handed out a stack of money to each one.
"You sure this is a good idea? They're just gonna come back for more once they burn through it." Johnny asked as he watched Vee give out the last stack to someone.
"Hey, I just give them the means, it's up to them what they do with it…After that it becomes Ultor's problem, not ours." Vee pointed out but a gunshot rang out.
"Hey! What're you assholes doing in here?!" A man wearing all green and dressed like your stereotypical drug dealer came in with a pistol in hand and aimed it at Vee; "What'you do with all our clients?"
"Clients? If you're talking with the Shantytown Guys, then you just missed 'em…They've gone to party and we are now the owners of this fine lot." Vee mentioned calmly but it was laced with some terse undertones; He knew a drug peddler when he saw one and with the single tone colour scheme that they wore meant that this was another gang to deal with.
"If you're thinking of stepping in our territory then you're a dead man! Because nobody messes with the Sons…Let alone the General!" The guy yelled as more gang members came in with weapons. "These guys are muscling in…Let's welcome them to the neighbourhood."
"Looks like you get your wish after all, Johnny." Vee snarked as he pulled out a shotgun.
"Hey, as long as I get to shoot THESE guys, I'm happy." Gat grinned as the two started up a shootout between them and the Sons of Samedi.
Vee ducked behind one of the broken down shacks and peppered each person with buckshot. "You know these guys, Johnny?!" He yelled out as he weaved under a guy's machete swing and clocked him with the butt of his shotgun.
"They're the Sons of Samedi….Bunch of drug peddlers!" Johnny yelled back as he threw a knife at one of the Sons that was retreating.
By the time that evening rolled around; Johnny and Vee both managed to turn the Hotel from a Shantytown of bums and Sons Drug dealing pens into a vacant lot for them to clear out. "Gonna be honest, Johnny…This place is kind of a shithole…" Vee admitted honestly as he dragged a body to the pile.
"Hey, come on…It might be a shithole but it's OUR shithole with potential." Johnny remarked as he grabbed a deck chair for them to sit. "Think about it; We get some nicer furniture, a few flatscreens…Maybe a stripper pole for action?"
Vee smirked a little and chuckled; "You had me at stripper pole…So what next? Because we got a lot of work clearing out the crib of these bodies."
Johnny's formerly satisfied smile turned to disdain, glancing back to the pile of bodies and then to Vee; "Come on, man; This is stuff that guys who got canonised should be doing…"
"Okay, let's see if we can find some help." Vee then looked over towards one of the dead gang members with a sarcastic look; "Hey buddy, you mind giving us a hand?" He then held his hand up to his ear to hear him, but the corpse wasn't responding. "Well, looks like we're on our own until we get more guys."
"Alright, alright I get it!" Johnny griped as he threw another on the pile; "Looks like we're going recruiting in that case; Most of the old crew are either dead or busted so we can't really afford to be picky...I know some guys from prison who might be able to work it, but they don't just follow anybody so you're gonna have to sell it hard."
Vee nodded; "I got it, you tell me where to find 'em and I'll see if I can do something."
"You said you knew a guy who sprung you out, is he any good?" Johnny asked as he watched Vee head for the door.
"Yeah, Carlos….He's a bit young and hotheaded but I know he's got potential, I'll hit him up first, you tell me about the others when you get the A-Okay." Vee mentioned as he grabbed his bike and rode off while dialling up Carlos. "Carlos, you ready to prove yourself?"
"Hell yeah, though I need you to do me a solid, come meet me at Stillwater's gated community." Carlos agreed as he hung up and waited.
----Some Time Later----
Vee soon showed up as he could and climbed off; "So what's this favour that you want done?" He asked curiously.
"Okay, a friend of mine's a real deadbeat; He owes me a good chunk of money and I want you to help me with repo-ing his car." Carlos asked as he showed a picture of the car in question on his phone.
"If it means that you help us out with the Saints, then by all means." Vee grinned as he then realised that his bike wouldn't be enough to cut it; "Shit…Gonna need more than one seat."
"You could just boost one of the cars from around here? Bunch of the owners here are cash flinging putos that have more dollars than brains." Carlos snarked; "There's one thing that these people have is good taste in cars."
Vee nodded as he clambered through one of the hedges and started to look for something good he could use. From the front it looked like no one had anything that caught his eye; a bunch of fancy looking sports cars and stuff that looked like it could go fast but would barely pass the speed limit. "A lot of these are okay…But nothing's grabbin' me…I need something fast, classic looking and easy to tune….like that!" Vee made his mental debate before rushing to one of the back houses and found exactly what he was looking for.
Standing unused in the driveway was a blue coloured muscle car known as a Bootlegger, it still had it's roof on and a white stripe running along the middle of the bonnet and running up along the roof. "Colour's not really my thing but a few tuneups will have it working for me." Vee remarked to himself as he smashed the window to unbolt the door and climbed in to hotwire the car.
zzt….
zzt….
zz-RRRMB!
Vee grinned from ear to ear as he heard the powerful rumble of the car under him; "Oh, you and I are gonna be getting along wonderfully…" He said and pat the dashboard before speeding out of the driveway and out of the automated gateway since they only check the car, not the face in it.
"Dang man…You sure that thing'll be enough?" Carlos asked as he looked over the Bootlegger that was currently parked in front of him.
"The guy who owns this baby clearly only uses it as a lawn ornament, it's cleaned up like new and the mileage shows that it's barely made it past the sidewalk…But push comes to shove, I'll have it streetworthy in an hour or two." Vee explained as Carlos climbed in.
"Dope…I actually almost didn't recognise you when you pulled up, you really changed up your look." Carlos mentioned after he almost got jumpy when the formerly shaggy man pulled up to him.
"Well, I like not having to worry about lice or people grabbing it…." Vee admitted as they pulled up on the address of Carlos's target; "I don't suppose you got a tow truck on hand?"
"Way ahead of you, parked it a little ahead; just climb in and take the hearse." Carlos pointed to the tow truck that was parked on the curb and started to dial a number.
Vee climbed into the tow truck and backed it up to lift up the car in question; Flashing Carlos a thumbs up when he was ready to pull.
"Hey Ramon, what's up? Listen I don't got a lotta time so I was just calling to let you know that I stole your car. So if you don't wanna come back to a metal cube, I suggest you pay me that money you owe me…Talk to you later, Ramon!" Carlos warned the guy as he hung up and carefully guided Vee on where to park it before stopping. "So am I in?"
"Carlos, you better believe that you're in, meet me at the old Mission House…You'll be meeting the rest of the crew there later." He explained as he climbed back into the bootlegger and drove to the nearest Mechanic that he could find to start work.
——An Hour or so later——
Vee drove out of there in a now black coloured Bootlegger with a V8 Engine sticking out of the bonnet of the car, sporting the Saints' colours in the form of a now dark purple stripe up the middle of the car. "Gave you the full works, girl…Nitrous, stronger tires, reinforced everything…I think I'll call you Black Horseman." Vee let his gearhead side influence it as he shot out of the garage like a rocket and noticed his phone ringing; "You got something for me, Johnny?"
"As a matter of fact I do, you goddamn maniac…" Johnny said with an audible grin; "First off I heard all the shit you got up to over the last day or so and I gotta say, I'm real impressed…And I got in touch with some guys; Their names are Pierce and Shaundi, They'll be hanging around in the old part of Stillwater so hook up with them."
"Got it, I'll swing by…Thanks, Johnny." Vee thanked him and drove off to go find out where Pierce was; He later found him sat on a park bench and flagged him over; "You Pierce?" He asked as he watched Pierce climb in the front seat.
"S'up. If I'm gonna be running with you, I want to see you fuck up some Ronin." Pierce elaborated as Vee drove off to go find some people wearing yellow.
"So what's your deal, anyway?" Vee asked as he pulled an SMG out from under the seat.
"My deal is that I'm the total package. You need someone shot? I can do it. You need someone to strategise? I can do it. You need to score court side tickets? I can do it. Ya know what the only thing I can't do is? Be stopped…Or figure out how to play Pai Gon Poker, 'cause that shit don't make a damn bit of sense." Pierce asked as he watched Vee shoot up the Ronin that had loitering on a corner.
"Certainly talk a big game, think you can back it up against the rest of the Saints?" Vee asked as he took another few shots on some approaching Ronin.
"I might not be Johnny Gat but I know how to shoot a gun and I know how to put a plan together." Pierce assured him as he pulled out a pistol and nailed a sprinting Ronin in the head as the other split off. "But I'm definitely down for being in your crew."
"Exactly what I wanna hear, meet me at the old Mission House and we'll talk more then." Vee accepted as he let Pierce out and headed off to meet the last person on his list. He found the stoner girl sat on a corner looking bored. "You Shaundi? Johnny told me about you."
Shaundi was almost knocked out of her high when she saw him, when Johnny called her up and offered her a chance to meet with the gang he's running for some extra bucks; She had figured this guy was probably some big talking, angry looking 'roid machine with the way that Gat was going on about him.
What she got instead was a sleek looking man with a good amount of toned muscle on him but not enough to look gross and a face that she could almost picture on a magazine. "Hey~" She slurred but then flinched and straightened up, she wanted to come across as mellow and not look too desperate to join but that had slipped out without her realising it. "Johnny told me you were on the way, how about you show me what you can do in that car?" She asked and climbed in alongside him while trying to keep on track.
"You got it." Vee smirked as he revved up the car and took it off road towards the jumps that she was parked nearby; Taking it through flips and landing, doing donuts and even managing to weave in and out of traffic enough to show her what he could do with his driving. "How about that? You ready to meet the rest of the boys?"
"I say lead the way, boss man." Shaundi agreed as they both headed for the Mission House to get acquainted with everyone.
Currently Johnny was helping the initiates get canonised by fighting each other and proving their worth when they all got together. "You. Next!" Johnny pointed to the next batch to go before joining.
"Man, you throw in a flat screen and a hookah and we're good." Shaundi mentioned as she looked around the now mostly cleaned up place before seeing Vee take up the top of the stairs and everyone turned to face him. "Whadda we do now?"
Johnny then stood with the group as he pointed to Vee; "We agreed he outta be boss, I'm alright with second banana as long as I get to kill guys…Right now, we listen."
Vee decided to take on the only kind of talk he could remember as he spoke up; "Alright, everybody listen up! We've got some serious shit to discuss…The Saints used to own Stillwater and it seems like the only fuckers that remember that is me and Gat. I say it's about time we give those other crews a wake up call about who's in charge around here." Vee announced as he then turned to Pierce. "Admittedly for me, a lot has changed around here so I'm gonna need you all to pitch in and help. Pierce, you're on the Ronin; I want to know who's calling the shots and what businesses they're running."
Pierce nodded his head; "Give me some guys to help and you got it done."
Vee smirked; "Good man, Shaundi…I want you looking in on the Sons of Samedi…"
"Come on, it really has to be them?" Shaundi asked with a grimace on her face, though that quickly wiped off when she saw Vee glaring at her with apprehension.
"The fuck you say?" Vee asked warning her about who's in charge of the gang.
"It..It's cool, I got this." Shaundi backpedaled as she accepted their monitoring while Vee looked to Carlos who seemed to pick up what he was going to ask.
"So that just leaves me with the Brotherhood? I'm on it." Carlos boldly accepted as he stood up straight.
Vee smirked a little as he then turned to all the new recruits. "Alright, you guys have your jobs now…Once we're done here, you guys talk to those three and they'll have something for you to do…It's our time now...let's get this shit started."
