Onepiece: I Am Aizen, The Strongest Admiral

Chapter 62: Chapter 59 Blocking Golden Lions (Bonus)

"Lion Fruit's ability, can't help it already?" Aizen narrowed his eyes, naturally aware of Golden Lion's formidable Devil Fruit ability.

The reason Golden Lion was considered one of the most difficult opponents among the three great pirates was precisely because of this ability. With his control over the air, no one could capture his movements. Even the World Government struggled to get a hold of him.

"Die to Laozi!"

Golden Lion swung his arm down from the sky, and the massive pirate ship he controlled came crashing down.

Boom!!!

The air cracked under the pressure, and the thunderous sound reverberated across the battlefield.

"Damn it! The Golden Lion is going to destroy the entire port!" A Marine Vice Admiral yelled as they watched the pirate ship plummeting toward the ground.

While the Marines were still caught in the middle, it was nearly impossible for them to stop the overwhelming destruction. If Golden Lion was allowed to continue like this, the entire Marine branch would be obliterated.

At this moment, they pinned their hopes on Aizen, who had fought Golden Lion back and forth earlier.

But Aizen paid no attention to their gaze. He stepped forward with calm composure, his right index finger raised as he began chanting.

"Heaven's proud son, a city wall made of iron."

"The dragon walks, the lion roars, Hu Xiao, the wolf runs, cut off the world before it collapses."

"Eighty One of Bakudō·Splitting Void!"

As the incantation ended, the space in front of Aizen twisted.

A transparent mirror materialized before him, and though it appeared ordinary, there was an undeniable sense of invulnerability emanating from it—an impregnable force that suggested nothing could harm Aizen while it stood.

The massive pirate ship fell from the sky, its descent creating an unstoppable storm of wind and chaos. But as it reached the transparent barrier, it collided with a deafening crash.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The pirate ship slammed into Aizen's protection with an explosive shockwave, sparks flying from the hull as it scraped against the light curtain.

The collision sent a shockwave through the battlefield, knocking several pirates and Marines off their feet. The power was so immense that even the sea beneath them seemed to churn violently, the water stained with blood as Sea Kings were torn apart.

While the port didn't collapse entirely, the aftermath left it in turmoil—rippled like an earthquake had just shaken the ground.

Despite the chaos, the thin light curtain protecting Aizen stood unbroken.

"Great! Aizen Vice Admiral blocked it!"

The Marines below roared in triumph as they saw the Golden Lion's attack thwarted. With Aizen's barrier holding firm, there was no need to fear Golden Lion's next move.

However, on the pirate side, the atmosphere had shifted entirely. Their proud captain, Golden Lion, had been stopped by someone who looked no older than twenty. And from Aizen's composed stance, it was clear he still had plenty of strength left.

They began to realize the truth: this was no mere rookie, and Golden Lion's attack hadn't even come close to taking him down.

"Aizen's still got plenty of power left," they muttered, fear creeping into their voices. "Could he be more than just a Marine genius?"

Even Golden Lion himself couldn't help but feel a sense of disbelief. This was the same attack he'd used to crush countless ships—yet this Marine, this young man, had effortlessly stopped it.

"Why are you backing off?" Aizen spoke, his voice light, unbothered by the force of their clash. "You want to kill me? You shouldn't be running away, Golden Lion."

Golden Lion's face contorted, the rage evident in his eyes as he struggled to regain his composure. But despite the anger, the doubts continued to linger in his mind.

"You...!" His eyes widened in fury. His bloodshot face twisted with madness as he growled, "Even at this level, you're nothing compared to me! I'll tear you apart! If I don't kill you now, there will be endless trouble for me!"

Boom!

Aizen immediately disappeared from his sight, reappearing directly in front of Golden Lion with lightning speed. His movement was so fast that even the Golden Lion couldn't track him.

"What?! What speed!" Golden Lion's eyes widened in shock, swinging his sword at the figure before him, but Aizen caught the blade with his bare hand, crushing the sword energy with his Reiatsu.

"You think you can stop me with your sword?" Aizen's voice was calm, almost mocking. "It's just a tool."

Golden Lion's disbelief turned to fury as he took a step back, realizing that Aizen had completely outclassed him in every way. He had never expected to face such a powerful Marine, let alone one who could stop his sword energy with ease.

Aizen's smile remained unreadable. "There's no need to back off, Golden Lion. You've already lost."

At that moment, it was clear—Aizen was not just at the same level as Golden Lion; he was far beyond him. Golden Lion might have once been one of the three great pirates, but against Aizen, his power felt insignificant.

With a single flick of his wrist, Aizen prepared to end the battle. Golden Lion, now fully aware that he was facing a far superior opponent, felt a gnawing fear in his gut. The legendary Golden Lion had met his match, and there was no escaping it.

Aizen's Reiatsu surged, a reminder to Golden Lion that he had underestimated this Marine Vice Admiral... and now it was too late.
