The Golden Lion furrowed his brows, deep in thought, feeling a creeping sense of unease.

"This isn't good!" he thought. "If Ares joins the Rocks Pirates, someone has to make sure he stays far away from Big Mom."

He recalled the fates of the many men who had gotten involved with Linlin—none had ended well. To her, they were nothing more than "reproductive tools."

Ares, meanwhile, didn't spare Kaido—still sprawled on the ground—a single glance. His fiery gaze was locked on Rocks, his expression tinged with something new: excitement.

His calm, handsome face betrayed his growing eagerness.

"Now…" Ares' hoarse voice broke the silence. "Can I fight you?!"

The thrill of Kaido's punch had ignited something within him. Ares had learned how to better harness his strength through the fight, and now he longed to face someone stronger.

His blood burned with the desire to fight.

"Fighting really can sharpen me," he thought, his heart racing. "It can turn me into the indestructible sword I want to become!"

He was ready.

Ochoku couldn't help but smirk. "What a bold kid! After defeating Kaido, he still dares to challenge Captain Rocks?"

The crowd murmured in agreement. Ares' choice to focus on Rocks, rather than boasting about his victory over Kaido, caught many by surprise.

Silver Axe chuckled. "This boy doesn't understand the vastness of the sea. Does he really think he can handle Captain Rocks?"

The pirates, too, were buzzing with excitement, their shouts echoing across the battlefield:

"Captain Rocks, teach this brat a lesson!"

"Let him know the power of the captain!"

"Hahaha! Show him what real strength looks like!"

Despite the jeers, Ares didn't flinch. His unwavering gaze stayed locked on Rocks.

"He's stronger than any beast I've faced," Ares thought, his heart pounding like a war drum.

"If I fight him, I'll learn even more. I'll become stronger. I'll turn myself into a blade that surpasses even the Supreme Grade Swords!"

The fierce and brutal aura he had honed through countless battles with wild beasts radiated from his body.

Rocks felt the raw, primal energy emanating from Ares. Though impressive, it didn't faze him. To someone standing at the top of the sea, Ares wasn't yet a threat—just an interesting prospect.

With a faint smile, Rocks spoke: "If you want to fight me, there's one condition."

He paused, his tone firm. "If you lose, you join the Rocks Pirates."

The tension in the air thickened.

Ares nodded without hesitation. "Good. Can we fight now?!"

He cracked his knuckles, the sound reverberating like breaking bones. His body, already coiled with tension, practically begged for the fight to begin.

The crowd of pirates fell silent, their eyes fixed on the field.

Every breath was held, every gaze glued to the confrontation. The only sounds were the faint wind and the drum-like rhythm of Ares' heartbeat.

Finally, Rocks grinned arrogantly. "Kid…"

"Come over here!"

With a sudden burst of energy, Ares launched himself forward.

The ground beneath his feet cracked, forming deep pits as he propelled himself toward Rocks like a shot arrow.

His fist tore through the air, leaving ripples in its wake.

This was the same punch that had killed a ten-meter-tall giant ape and felled a black bear with thick, impenetrable skin.

But Rocks didn't flinch.

His eyes flashed with approval, and he let out a satisfied laugh. "Boy…"

"You're not ready yet. But I'll wait for the day you can truly challenge me."

Rocks raised his fist, meeting Ares' head-on.

Bang!

The impact caused a deafening explosion, the force rippling through the air like a shockwave.

Ares' body was sent flying like a meteor, completely out of control. He soared hundreds of meters before crashing into the ground with a thunderous impact, raising a massive cloud of dust.

The crowd of pirates erupted in astonishment.

Even the mighty Ares, who had defeated Kaido with ease, had been knocked back by a single punch from Rocks.

Rocks withdrew his fist, his expression calm. He turned to Captain John and commanded, "Take the boy back to the ship. From this moment on, he is a member of the Rocks Pirates."

His sharp, domineering gaze swept over the surrounding pirates, his voice booming with authority.

"And let it be known…"

He grinned, revealing his sharp, silver teeth.

"He's not joining as a newcomer. He's joining as…"

"An official crew member!"

His final words rang out like thunder, solidifying Ares' place among the infamous Rocks Pirates.
