Oops, I Accidentally Became the Sect’s Greatest Teacher!

Chapter 3: Chapter 3 Flavor

"Sect Master!"

"Something's happened!"

"The Great Elder is back—and he's already kidnapping someone again!"

A group of elders, draped in splendid sect robes, rushed toward a majestic cultivation cave.

This place, known as the Burning Red Grotto, was the largest and most revered cultivation mountain in the Infinite Sword Sect.

Protected by a powerful defensive formation, no one could enter without permission—not even the sect elders.

"Go back," came a calm, yet authoritative voice from within the cave.

"The Great Elder knows his limits. He won't go too far; he's simply living out his final days in fun and luxury."

The voice belonged to a beautiful woman, and though the elders had hurried to summon her, she made no move to step outside.

There was no need to. After all, the crazy old Griffin had pulled stunts like this countless times over the past hundred years.

The elders were powerless to do anything about the crazy old Griffin also, for only the Sect Master had the authority and strength to suppress him within the sect.

With one final glance, the elders turned away, helpless. They could only pray for the fate of the little girl that the crazed old Griffin had abducted.

Ariel walked for several minutes, holding the hand of the little, dirty girl.

Eventually, he stopped and opted for a faster method of travel.

Reaching into his storage ring, he summoned a large flying sword—much bigger than his battle sword, Severance.

It was only an ordinary flying sword but it had its uses.

"Come on up, girl. It'll take forever if we keep walking," Ariel said as he stepped onto the oversized sword. With a steady hand, he helped the girl climb aboard.

A moment later, the sword lifted into the air, and a loud, excited scream echoed across the sky.

"Ahhhhhhh!" the girl yelled, her voice a mix of shock and delight.

It was her first time flying, and the sheer exhilaration of soaring through the clouds burned itself into her memory. It was a moment she would cherish forever.

"You can clean up and wash here, girl. Your smell is… quite strong," Ariel said as they arrived at his private grand cultivation mountain within the sect.

The original Ariel named it the Lonely Mountain which depicted his aloof and steadfast obsession in the pursuit of the endless grand dao only.

Their first stop was the washroom.

"Thank you, Master!" The girl beamed, her face still flushed with excitement from the thrill of flying.

"Good girl," Ariel said with a nod. Then, as if struck by a thought, he added, "Hmmm… I shouldn't keep calling you 'girl' anymore. You're my first disciple now. You need to set a good example for the others I'll take in the future. But we'll get properly introduced after you've cleaned up."

With that, Ariel left her to it and hurried to his room, excitement bubbling within him. He couldn't wait to see what reward the system had granted him.

Sitting cross-legged on his bed in a lotus position, Ariel called up his character status with his mind. But before the familiar display appeared, a notification echoed in his thoughts:

Ding!

"Acquired a student!"

"Rewards granted!"

"Pick one from the three rewards below:"

1. One whole level of cultivation base

2. Immortal-tier sword: Celestial Severance

3. Immortal-tier sword manual: Primordial Sword Scripture

"Ohhhh, this is an easy choice. Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Ariel laughed aloud, his grin spreading wide as the glowing options hovered before his eyes.

Without hesitation, he made his selection—choosing the reward that addressed the most critical gap in his life.

"I pick the first!" he declared.

Ding!

As the system acknowledged his choice, an explosion of vitality and strength surged through his body.

Energy coursed through his veins, and his entire being felt like it could shatter mountains and obliterate worlds with a single punch.

Yet, the transformation was seamless and natural, leaving Ariel awestruck.

Leaping off the bed, he turned to the full-sized mirror in his room. The sight that greeted him made him laugh again.

"Nice! It's the same handsome face I had back on Earth. Only this long black hair is different. Should I cut it off? Hmmm… maybe later," Ariel muttered, inspecting himself.

"I don't want to act too differently in this xianxia world either. Someone might suspect I'm not the original soul in this body, but an alien from another world."

The wrinkled old man he'd once been was gone, replaced by the youthful visage he had in his previous life.

To his amusement, not only did he share the same name as this body's previous owner, but they even had the same face. Fate, it seemed, had a sense of humor.

"Time to check on my first disciple," Ariel muttered, excitement bubbling in his chest.

"If my guess is right, I should be able to help her immensely. But first, let's see if I've unlocked a new quest."

He summoned his character status, but the moment the screen appeared, he froze in place.

"What the f—" Ariel muttered, rubbing his eyes in disbelief at the glowing text before him.

"10th stage… The peak of the realm," Ariel whispered, stunned.

"No wonder I feel so ridiculously strong. This means… I'm stronger than the sect master now."

He stood there, processing the implications of his system's upgrade. His shock gave way to a grin, which quickly evolved into uncontrollable laughter.

"Hahahaha! My system is the best!" Ariel declared triumphantly.

"It's leagues above any other. The strongest system ever created doesn't even compare—it's like a kitten next to my OP system!"

For several minutes, Ariel reveled in his newfound power before finally calming down.

He took a deep breath, adjusted his robes, and stepped out of his room to check on his disciple.

"Are you done in there, my disciple?" Ariel called out.

He realized he should learn her name soon—calling her "my disciple" forever wasn't ideal.

"I'm finished, Master!" came a cheerful voice from inside.

A moment later, the washroom door swung open, and out stepped his disciple. Her eyes focusing on the side rather than at where his body was right now.

She was wearing oversized golden cultivator robes, their grandeur hilariously mismatched with her small, thin frame.

Despite her clean appearance, she looked rather ordinary—nothing that would stand out. But Ariel didn't care.

He smiled warmly at the girl.

"This child saved my life. Without her, I'd have been dead hours later. Now, I've gained not only my life but the potential to live for 5,000 years. Perhaps one day, I'll even find a way back to Earth and my family." He thought inside.

"Alright," Ariel began, "now I want you to tell me your na—"

Before he could finish, a familiar sound interrupted him.

Ding!
