Chapter 430 - Killing You Is like Crushing Dead an Unweaned Puppy

Chapter 430 Killing You Is like Crushing Dead an Unweaned Puppy

Su Ya had not awakened yet. But when Ning Tao rolled away with her in his arms, her body had received many kinds of spiritual power. The blood gushing out from her wounds had stanched somewhat. Her breathing had also steadied.

If they had time, Ning Tao would have fed her a Fine Primary Elixir. But they did not.

Dong! Dong! Dong!

Acrisius strode towards Ning Tao and Su Ya. That momentum, sound and power resembled a humanoid tank!

Ning Tao rolled over and sprang up. He launched himself on his feet and soared into the air, ramming against Acrisius like a missile. His body compared to Acrisius’s was like a child’s, but his imposing manner was no less striking than Acrisius’s!

Before he rammed against him, Ning Tao’s right arm waved. The few remaining Sacred Needles flew out and darted towards Acrisius.

Acrisius punched his fists into the air and it tremored. His burst of energy actually deflected the Sacred Needles from their tracks.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

Several Sacred Needles fell onto the rooftop. Only one had scraped past Acrisius’s shoulder and streaked away.

Bam!

Acrisius and Ning Tao collided and Ning Tao was sent flying away. He crashed heavily onto the ground. But one second later, he stood up again.

A tinge of astonishment flashed across Acrisius’s eyes. “The garment you are wearing is wonderful. Without it, you’re nothing. They said you are very powerful, but you seem no more than a weak Mongoloid to me! I want your garment…”

Before he could finish his words, a Sacred Needle had darted into his neck. His voice came to an abrupt halt.

It was that Sacred Needle which had missed the target. Under the pull of spiritual power, it had flown back again.

Ning Tao snickered. “It’s easy for me to kill you, white boy. Other than being bigger and stronger than me, what else are you? You aren’t worth pittance to me.”

What Acrisius just said to him, he immediately rebutted.

“What arrogance!” Acrisius reached out to grab that Sacred Needle, pulling it out of his neck and trying to break it.

But the Sacred Needle merely bent and did not break. When he released it, it rebounded again back to its former shape.

Ning Tao said sarcastically, “Hey, you can’t even break a needle. What else are you good for?”

“Humph!” Acrisius growled furiously, throwing away the unbroken Sacred Needle in his hand. He moved his thick and muscular legs after Ning Tao.

Ning Tao stretched out his hand and all the Sacred Needles he had flung ascended from the ground and whizzed towards Acrisius’s back. Wisps of cold light tore through the air, all darting towards Acrisius’s back.

Acrisius seemed not to care. He dashed towards Ning Tao, throwing a punch at Ning Tao’s chest.

Thump!

Ning Tao flew away, but took two steps in the air. He forced himself to turn from flight and descended gently.

Ning Tao said derisively, “You idiot from the United States, did the Black Fire Company pay you wages? Are you too poor to take your meals? You think you can kill me with such puny strength? Damn you, are you a comedian?”

“F**k!” Acrisius cursed, and then pounced on Ning Tao again.

Ning Tao did not even try to dodge. He shifted his hand backwards, and the Blade of the Solar Eclipse suddenly appeared in his right hand.

Acrisius’s fists were aiming punches at Ning Tao’s head.

But still Ning Tao did not move.

Just when Acrisius’s fists, as big as bowls, were about to shatter Ning Tao’s head, his arms suddenly froze. His entire person tilted to one side, almost toppling to the ground.

The Sacred Needles to Nasty Diseases.

Ning Tao never talked during fights, but this time he quite unusually ridiculed Acrisius time and again. His motive was to enrage Acrisius and make his blood circulate faster, to accelerate the effects of the Sacred Needles to Nasty Diseases.

He had achieved his goal, but he had to admit Acrisius was powerful. When confronting other enemies, he usually only needed one needle. But to deal with Acrisius, he had used several.

Acrisius finally steadied his body and glared furiously at Ning Tao. “What… did you do?”

A cold sneer hovered on Ning Tao’s lips. “You don’t even know who I am and you dare to rob me in Hua Country? To kill you is no different from me crushing dead an unweaned puppy!”

Acrisius lifted his leg to kick Ning Tao, but his movement was abnormally slow. His brain could not send instructions to the corresponding nerves at all. What he could do with his eyes closed in the past, he could not now!

Ning Tao drew near him and waved his right hand. The Blade of the Solar Eclipse sliced through Acrisius’s leg tendons. He spun around and reached Acrisius’s back, stabbing the blade into his kidney at his waist.

Plonk!

Acrisius’s knees wobbled and he knelt on the floor. His eyes were full of horror and disbelief. Never in his dreams would he imagine a puny lad from Hua Country to be this powerful and aggressive!

Drawing out the blade, Ning Tao was about to stab into Acrisius’s head.

But suddenly, a bullet whizzed towards him, hitting Ning Tao’s back.

Under its tremendous impact, Ning Tao’s body flew away into the air. He flew several meters away before crashing on the ground.

That sniper had fired again.

It wasn’t that he did not wish to shoot at Ning Tao just now, to help Acrisius kill Ning Tao. It was because this new magic tool sniper rifle needed time to replenish its charge.

However, Ning Tao had Powerful Tolerance to Beating over such a rifle.

Under some special hallucinations, people often deceive themselves into thinking they are lucky. It was clear that the first bullet could not kill Ning Tao, yet the sniper had gambled on another. He believed that Ning Tao’s “armor” had already been penetrated by the first bullet, exposing his back to further shots. Yet through his Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight with night vision, he could see Ning Tao jump up from the ground. He no longer harbored any more hopes.

“Damn! Impossible!” The sniper prone in the grass had lost control of his emotions. He had shot at least a few hundred men dead, and had never fired twice at the same target before. But this time, he had fired twice at Ning Tao, yet the man was still hopping and alive!

A slight noise suddenly resounded from behind him.

The sniper turned his head back sharply.

There was nothing behind him, just a wind blowing some grass.

Suddenly, that tuft of grass shook, as if something was creeping out from it.

The sniper immediately upped his vigilance, reaching out for a pistol on the outside of his thigh. But at this moment, there suddenly appeared a Wolverine claw over his shoulder.

“Shit…” The sniper turned back his head vigorously and saw a pretty face.

A cold gleam at that instant suddenly severed his neck. His head flew away, as blood spurted out from that severed neck like a crimson fountain.

To fight a snake demon in grass was no different from offering your neck to the guillotine of an opponent.

Qing Zhui spat out her tongue, twice as long as an ordinary person’s. Her mouth emitted a series of sounds. “Hiss, hiss, hiss…”

Soon, snakes crawled out from this forest in these hills, colorful vipers as well as monstrously huge pythons. They had arrived under Qing Zhui’s summon to have their dinner.

Qing Zhui lifted that sniper rifle and wind whizzed past under her feet. She raced with the fastest speed towards Sunshine Orphanage at the foot of the hill.

On the rooftop.

Although he had lost one kidney and his hamstring was severed, Acrisius could still bear such pain. But the pain emanating from the Sacred Needle to Nasty Diseases was something he could not endure. His muscles, nerves and internal organs were all decomposing quickly. Every second of that pain seemed to feel like one year!

Ning Tao walked towards Acrisius.

“Ah… um…” Acrisius seemed to want to say something, but could only utter painful moans through his lips.

Ning Tao stopped in front of Acrisius, raising his right arm.

“You… you… can’t kill me…” Acrisius finally blurted out. “Your other… friend… has been captured by… my men…”

His other friend could only mean Ge Ming.

Ning Tao said, “I will save him. If I can’t, I will avenge him. But no one can threaten the ways of Heaven. There will be no negotiations with me!”

As his voice faded, Ning Tao stabbed his knife into Acrisius’s head.

Acrisius widened his mouth in terror. “No—”

Crack!

The sound of bones breaking. The Blade of the Solar Eclipse had stabbed into Acrisius’s head. Under the concussion of spiritual power, Acrisius’s body suddenly tumbled to the ground, his eyes glaring angrily. He had not died resigned to his fate.

Ning Tao stepped a foot on Acrisius’s face, striding past his dead body and walking quickly towards Su Ya.

For him, killing Acrisius was no difficult task. The real difficult problem was treating Su Ya’s injuries and making a decision.

If he were to take her to a hospital, she might not withstand her injuries for so long. He did not feel assured putting her under the care of those doctors. Even if she survived the operation, the fact her abdomen and intestines would be cut open would mean great pain for the rest of her life.

But if he took her to Sky Clinic, after treatment…

He would remember her, but she would forget him.

Which decision should he make?

Ning Tao’s heart was all in a tangle.

“Brother Ning.” It was Qing Zhui’s voice.

Ning Tao turned back and glanced at Qing Zhui. “Is everything settled?”

He was merely asking this instinctively, because he had seen that sniper rifle in Qing Zhui’s hand. It was completely different from normal sniper rifles. It was indeed some new technological magic tool from the West, but right now, Ning Tao had no interest in studying it.

Qing Zhui walked over to his side. “I’ve killed him. There was only one sniper on the hillside, no other enemy.”

Ning Tao lifted Su Ya in his arms. “She’s badly injured and I have to treat her. Get rid of this dead body and then go and check on the children in the orphanage. They must have been knocked out by some anesthetic gas. They’re all in their rooms.”

Qing Zhui nodded, took two steps, and then suddenly turned around again. “Brother Ning, are you taking her to the hospital, or…”

Ning Tao shook his head. “I… haven’t decided yet. Let’s go back to the clinic first.”

Qing Zhui’s lips moved, but she checked herself. She knew full well what it meant if Ning Tao was to bring Su Ya back to Sky Clinic for treatment. She had already sensed that sadness, dejection and dilemma in Ning Tao. She wanted to offer him a suggestion to resolve the problem, but could not.

The convenient door opened and Ning Tao carried Su Ya in.
