Overgeared: Saharan Successor

Chapter 19: Chapter 19: Flamestrike

Chapter 19: Flamestrike

Odin swiftly moved through the dense forest, his senses attuned to the chaos he had orchestrated with his party members. Before long, he re-entered the farmland zone.

As he glanced at his Mini-Map, he noticed that Alysha was only meters away from him. Her rugged breathing indicated that she was close to exhaustion.

The sound of Alysha's desperate footfalls reached his ears, accompanied by the relentless roars and snarls of the monsters chasing her. His eyes narrowed behind the mask as he locked onto her position on the mini-map.

Although he knew she was fast as a Rogue, the number of beasts on her tail meant that her agility would not be enough, especially considering how quickly her Class consumes Stamina Energy required for day-to-day activities as a 'Chosen One.'

In the distance, he could already see the trees shaking as the horde of Wild Beasts and Dire Beasts barreled through the underbrush, pursuing Alysha. Although she was quick and agile, darting between the trees with ease, even the most agile of players couldn't keep that up forever, not with the sheer number of enemies on her tail.

"Where is my hero when I need one? I want a relaxing massage and a cup of tea afterwards. I'm never going to do this in my life!" Alysha grumbled to herself, focusing solely on evading the monsters and players chasing after her, without following the Mini-Map.

Her heart was pounding in her chest, adrenaline fueling her escape. She glanced over her shoulder, spotting the hulking forms of the Dire Beasts gaining ground. But then, her eyes caught sight of a familiar figure standing ahead in the clearing, and a wave of relief washed over her.

"Odin! MY HERO!" she shouted, her voice tinged with both desperation and excitement.

Odin's arrival was like a beacon of hope for Alysha. She could see him, calm and composed, standing right in her path. His presence alone was enough to reinvigorate her. With Odin watching over her, there was no way she'd let these monsters or those greedy players catch her.

"That's the Boss for you!" Alysha smirked, her confidence returning. She shouted back at the players who had been chasing her. "Come on, you assholes! Who dares to steal my monsters?"

But before she could even think of engaging, Odin's voice cut through her thoughts. "Alysha, stop chit-chatting, and get to where Eve is located on the Map."

'Ahh, I love you, Odin! Chu-Chu, even with that old mask you're so hot. Talk more to me, I want to listen to your manly voice.'

"Of course, I'm ready for my bus ride," she responded with a grin, not daring to slow down as she adjusted her course toward Eve's position.

The group of players pursuing her was visibly conflicted. They had been relentless in their chase, but now they faced a new dilemma. Standing between them and Alysha was the masked figure, Odin.

His mere presence exuded a quiet, lethal aura that screamed danger. The odds were no longer in their favor, especially not with the horde of monsters still thundering behind Alysha. There was a large risk in challenging Alysha now over the aggro of the monsters.

Their group chat was mixed in their wills, asking if they should attack Odin and Alysha, or let this incident pass.

"Fuck this, I can't allow such disrespect to myself, after getting hurled with so many insults by that blonde slut."

Yet, amongst their discussion, one of the 'braver' players who didn't put Odin in his eyes, even if his Items were top-notch, a warrior wielding a heavy two-handed axe, made the mistake of charging the mysterious masked man.

Perhaps he thought his high-level gear for the hunting ground would impress his adversary, that it would protect him, or perhaps he simply underestimated the masked man.

Whatever the case, his arrogance would be his undoing.

'A melee brute from head to toes. Huhuhu, let's send you to the graveyard.'

Odin's crimson eyes fixed on the warrior as he approached. There was no hesitation, no wasted movement. Odin's right hand tightened around the hilt of his Soulrend Blade, and in an instant, he activated 'Mighty Strike.'

The world seemed to slow down for just a moment. Odin's body glowed with an ominous crimson light, the fire aura of the Inferno's Embrace swirling around him like a living flame.

He raised his blade high, channeling all of his power into a single, and this would be for sure a devastating blow.

As the warrior brought his axe down in a powerful swing, Odin's blade moved faster. The Soulrend Blade cut through the air with a terrifying speed, igniting with flames as it descended. The impact was explosive, as the blade met flesh and bone.

[Critical Hit!]

[ You have dealt 8,257 damage to the target.]

The warrior's eyes widened in shock. He didn't even have time to register the pain as Odin's strike cleaved through his armor and into his chest. The fire imbued in the blade from Inferno's Embrace erupted upon impact, engulfing the warrior in flames.

In a split second, his health bar plummeted to zero. His body crumpled to the ground, flames still licking at his form, the scent of burning leather and flesh filling the air.

The other players froze in their tracks, horror and fear plain on their faces. They had just witnessed their comrade, one of the best among them, fall like a leaf in a storm. The smart ones began to back away, realizing that engaging Odin would only lead to their own demise.

"Run!" one of them shouted, breaking the tense silence.

The group turned and fled, abandoning any thought of revenge or reclaiming the monsters. They knew better than to challenge someone who could dispatch them so effortlessly using only one strike.

Alysha, still sprinting, shot a quick glance back at Odin. "Thanks, Boss! You're the best!"

"Yeah, yeah, you scram, too," Odin replied, his voice as calm as ever, even as the flames around him gradually subsided, the effects of the Inferno's Embrace finally running out.

He didn't bother to chase after the fleeing players. They weren't his concern anymore. His focus remained on Alysha and the horde of monsters still following her.

With the players no longer a threat, Alysha continued her escape with renewed vigor, a wide grin on her face. She was safe, at least for now, and the path to Eve was clear.

All she had to do was keep running, and Odin would handle the rest.

As she dashed away, the thought of how smoothly Odin had handled the situation lingered in her mind.

'Now I understand why there are so many fans of Odin in the SkyNet. His charisma is unnatural. Also, his mannerisms are off-the-charts. Is this how it feels to stare at a dignified King from the Medieval Age?'

The players had been a threat, but Odin had dispatched one of them without even breaking a sweat. It was clear that he was on a completely different level, and she was lucky to have such a man as her Guildmaster.

Meanwhile, Odin turned his attention back to the monsters, watching them calmly as they chased after Alysha who had a clear path towards Madelaire and where Eve was located, and a similar scenario prompted around the Farmlands of Fullbaz, where the players of Leviathan were chased around by monsters, sprinting toward a singular location, a flat terrain not far from Madelaire that offered the perfect vision all over the hunting grounds.

The hordes of monsters still needed to be corralled.

--

Purphoros stood in the middle of the desolate farmlands, his low-level heavy armor glinting under the harsh sunlight as he listened to the chaotic chatter in the group chat.

⤷ Those people are crazy, can't they just wait for the respawn timer and leave me alone? Ahhh, I almost shit myself, a Wolf almost bit my ass.

⤷ Ewww, can't you boys not be so disgusting with your descriptions?

⤷ What do you want 'Princess'?? I don't have enough mental capacity to think about anything else. Shit's about to hit the fan! Odin, my God, my All-Father, help meeeeeee!

⤷ Carlyson: A big cargo truck is coming in your direction! My Lady, I give you my offerings to you.

⤷ Noah: Omw, it should take me around 7 minutes to reach the gathering point.

⤷ Malfurion: Around the same for me too, tho, I got some guy called Varian following behind me. Interestingly enough, he didn't try to pull aggro from the monsters.

⤷ Elyse: I'm going OOM! Why is a Mage like me doing such lure jobs??

Panic and fear filled the voices of his guildmates, which brought an amused smirk to his lips. It was typical for Alysha and Elyse to throw jabs at him, either about his role as a Tank or his muscular appearance, but in moments like these, he found their anxiety somewhat entertaining.

'Hehe, take that you annoying bitches. Hmph, laughing at me for being left out by the Guildmaster, but you're begging and asking for help like a bunch of pathetic swine.'

'Serves you right. I for sure could have done the job just fine. Afterall, this is the job of a Tank, to pull aggro and tank monsters.'

'Hmm? Is she finally moving?'

His amusement, however, was short-lived when he noticed Eve finally standing up from where she had been seated with her legs crossed.

She moved with a grace that he had only seen from Top Actresses in Hollywood, her movements slow and deliberate as she walked a few paces away.

'Ohh, man, she's really hot now that I watched her for a while.'

Purphoros watched her, his curiosity piqued as she suddenly began to levitate, her feet lifting off the ground effortlessly.

"Excuse me, Miss Eve," he called out, trying to keep his voice steady despite the growing tension. "Where are you going? Isn't this the location the Guildmaster assigned us?"

Eve didn't break her stride or lose her focus as she ascended higher into the air.

"Uh-huh, don't worry," she replied, giving the newbie some reassurance "I know what I'm doing. I need the higher ground for this plan to work, so I'll be standing in the air for a while."

Purphoros opened his mouth to ask another question but quickly closed it, realizing it would be futile.

By now, he had learned not to question Eve's when he wasn't asked anything, and after watching some SkyNet videos having her in the forefront, from her Hunting Ground exploits to her Magic Duels with the Top Mages of Satisfy, he learned that she could be a scary lady.

Apart from that, apart from being Odin's lover which brought a lot of attention to her exploits, she was brilliant in her own right, and though he didn't fully understand the intricacies of Satisfy's magic system or how Mages managed their MP, he knew better than to come off as ignorant.

As Eve continued to rise into the sky, Purphoros found his gaze drawn to her, almost against his will.

The Magic Stave she held in her hands glowed with a faint, fiery aura, and the Verdant Spheres that orbited behind her began to shift in color, reflecting the varying temperatures of the flames she commanded. Her red dress flowed elegantly around her, the fabric shimmering like molten lava, making her look like a celestial being descending… or rather, ascending through the atmosphere.

'Whooaa, this sighting is crazy. The graphics are so great.'

Purphoros's breath hitched in his throat. He had always known that Eve was beautiful, but seeing her like this, exuding an aura of power and grace, akin to a Fire Queen, made his heart race.

His eyes drifted over her long, bare legs, toned and perfect as they hovered just above the ground. Then his gaze moved upward, tracing the curve of her hips and lingering on her ample bosom, which was accentuated by the cut of her dress. The fiery rays emanating from her made her look like a living embodiment of the sun, radiant and untouchable. His face grew hot as he realized he was staring, his cheeks flushing with both embarrassment and desire. 'Snap out of it, Felix,' he chided himself trying to ground himself.

'She's the Guildmaster's woman. I can't ogle her like some degenerate.'

Purphoros quickly averted his gaze, trying to focus on anything else but the goddess-like figure floating above him. He attempted to clear his mind, even closing his eyes and trying a bit of meditation to calm his racing thoughts. But his efforts were in vain. The image of Eve, so powerful and alluring, was seared into his mind.

His meditation was abruptly interrupted by the sound of Eve's voice, clear and commanding from above. "Hey, you, Tank. You should get ready because they're coming back. Your time to shine is over the horizon."

Purphoros's eyes snapped open, and he looked up at her, his heart still pounding. "What do you mean?" he asked, though the answer was already becoming apparent.

He turned his gaze toward the horizon, squinting as he tried to make out what Eve had noticed from her vantage point. At first, all he could see were the barren farmlands of Madelaire, stretching out endlessly in every direction.

But then, he felt it, a subtle tremor beneath his feet. It was faint at first, barely noticeable, but as the seconds ticked by, it grew stronger, more pronounced, until it felt as if the very earth beneath him was shaking.

The sound that accompanied the tremor was like distant thunder, a low rumble that echoed across the plains. Purphoros's eyes widened as he realized what it was. In the distance, he saw them, waves of monsters, hundreds, maybe thousands of them, barreling toward him in a seemingly endless tide of claws, teeth, and fury.

Eve, from her elevated position, had spotted them long before Purphoros could, and she had already begun to prepare for the coming onslaught. The path the monsters followed was no accident, it was a carefully orchestrated plan by Odin and herself, but she couldn't take the credit because it was mainly Odin who came with such an insane plan of drawing all the monster's from this hunting ground in such fashion.

He was the one who came up with the plan of marking the path with Magic Baits to keep the beasts on course and away from the zones protected by the NPC garrison.

The realization hit Purphoros like a sledgehammer. This was it. The moment he had been waiting for.

The time to prove his worth as the Tank,

Purphoros stood firm, his resolve steeled as he prepared for the approaching horde. But his focus was shattered when he heard a desperate, almost pathetic cry for help, one that was all too familiar.

"Purphoros, my man, come take them! My Stamina Meter is going down to shites!!"

Purphoros turned to see Carlyson, stumbling into view. frantically waving his arms as he sprinted toward him, a tide of monstrous creatures hot on his heels.

Purphoros's eyes widened in disbelief at the sight. Carlyson had somehow managed to lure an entire pack of Dire Beasts out of the forest, even managing to escape and survive an encounter with the Archer Supernova Sylas.

"You fucking ratass, I'm only at level 25! I can't handle level 70-80 mobs! You're asking the impossible out of me!" Purphoros shouted back, full of anger that morphed into panic at the overwhelming number of monsters to tackle.

"Come on, man, help me draw the aggro off me! I don't want to die and lose all the upcoming EXP. Be a bro, I'll return the favor next time," Carlyson pleaded, his voice cracking with desperation.

Purphoros groaned, his eyes darting between Carlyson and the oncoming horde. "Oh no, no, no, I'm not dumb enough to take that bait. I'm not getting involved in this suicide mission!"

He was already debating the wisdom of his decision to stick around when he felt a sudden surge of power enveloping his body. A rush of heat spread through him, and before he could even process what was happening, a system notification flashed across his vision.

[User has received the Buff 'Molten Barrier LV.7']

[The 'Molten Barrier' raises the defenses of the user by 85% and will absorb 55,000 DMG. Each time a melee attacker strikes the Molten Barrier, they receive (20% of the user's Magic Power) as fire damage. This damage is instant and bypasses the enemy's armor, burning through their defenses. Buff Duration: 5 minutes]

Purphoros felt the magical energy materialize around him, and in an instant, a fiery aura sprang to life, encasing his entire body.

The heat was intense but oddly comforting, wrapping around him like a second skin. His armor glowed with an ethereal red light, the fire elemental mana swirling just beneath the surface, ready to lash out at anything that dared to strike him.

The barrier crackled and hissed, flames licking at the air as they moved in tandem with his every breath. Each flame danced with a life of its own, shifting in color from deep crimson to bright orange, and then to white-hot intensity at the edges.

'This buff is insane. Is this what Unique Classes skills look like? Crazy good, so much damage absorption.'

"You can go engage the monsters with confidence that you'll not die," Eve's voice echoed in his mind, calm and reassuring from her vantage point high above. "Young man, you only need to survive 5 minutes at most. After that, Odin will take on the role of aggro magnet to pack the monsters tightly."

Purphoros looked up at Eve, who was still hovering gracefully in the air, her form radiating the fire mana that she began building up around herself.

The sight of her, combined with the overwhelming defense of the Molten Barrier, ignited a fire within him that matched the flames surrounding his body.

"... Understood, Miss Eve. I'll try my best not to disappoint you," Purphoros replied, his voice steadying as the fear ebbed away.

He couldn't afford to fail, not now, not with Eve watching over him. This could be the awakening of a new simp in Eve's legion of 'servants'.

Having been blessed with an Ultimate Barrier, his morale got boosted to zealot stages. He turned his attention back to the horde and at Carlyson, and without replying back he charged into one of the Dire Beasts.

"That's the spirit! I knew I could count on you, bro!"

Carlyson followed Odin's instructions to the tee by this point, and threw the bait he activated on his body to a cleared flat terrain. Afterwards, he cowered away to a safe distance, letting Purphoros to be the meatshield.

Surprisingly, the monsters dropped their aggro from the point he threw off the bait, and instead followed the opened vial to the flat terrain, acting like wild animals in heat, then roaring with pleasure for the new highs they were getting.

"Damn, how many more of these things are there?" Purphoros muttered, his eyes darting around for any sign of relief. The ground shook beneath the weight of the oncoming horde, the air thick with the stench of blood and the sounds of monstrous growls.

Suddenly, a burst of movement caught his attention. Alysha, darted into view as she danced around the edges of the horde. She moved like an agile feline, in and out of the fray.

Alysha flashed Purphoros a mischievous grin as she passed past him, relieved inside that she made it out to the checkpoint "Hey there, big guy! Need a hand? Or maybe you'd like a few more friends to play with?" she teased, her voice light despite the chaos around them.

"As if I don't have enough on my plate already! Just pass them along, and I'll handle it."

"Well, if you insist! Here comes a fresh batch, just for you!"

She kept on luring them in close before deftly slipping away, following the same cowardly action that Carlyson has done to Purphoros who roared again, a mark that he was using his Taunt Skill.

Alysha circled back around, giving Purphoros a mock salute as she passed by. "Good luck, Tank! Don't let them bite too hard!" she called out before disappearing back into the fray, her laughter lingering in the air.

"I swear, I will smash her head with my shield."

Just as Purphoros was adjusting to the new influx of monsters, a haunting melody drifted across the battlefield.

The sound was eerie, a strange yet beautiful tune that seemed to rise above the chaos.

Purphoros turned his head just in time to see Noah, striding into view, his violin perched elegantly under his chin. His fingers danced across the strings, each note he played infused with magic, resonating through the air as two pairs of ethereal wings were at his feet, pulsing with the rhythm of his notes.

This was one of his movement speed buffs that he solely focused on himself, gaining a 50% movement speed the entire time he was playing his violin.

Noah chose not to grief Purphoros and led to his death, instead, he threw the Magical Bait into the mix of already insane Beasts.

"Keep it up, Purphoros. I've got your back. Once I recharge some of my mana, I will place the Song of Regeneration on you."

"Thanks, man, at least someone has consciousness."

It didn't take long after Noah's arrival that the ground beneath him began to shake once more.

From the distance, Malfurion made his entrance, but at first sight, Purphoros almost confused him to another monster because his feline form blended perfectly with the Dire Beasts. His Druid Cat form was of a massive, predatory feline, akin to a ferocious black panther.

His fur was a deep shade of green, shimmering with the natural magic that coursed through his veins, and his eyes glowed with a fierce, otherworldly light.

Malfurion, still in his cat form, returned to the designated spot where Carlyson had thrown the monster bait earlier. He growled low in his throat, a sound that reverberated through the earth, and the ground responded, shifting beneath the feet of the monsters to guide them toward the bait.

Afterwards, he shifted back to his humanoid form, glancing over at Purphoros and giving him a nod of approval "You're doing well, Purphoros. Keep holding the line. We're almost through this," he said, before bringing out his Druid Staff and channeling his mana toward the Tank.

"Nature Bending."

"Entangling Roots."

With the activation of his supporting spells, roots and vines burst forth to entangle the remaining monsters that were losing aggro from the Tank.

It could be said that in those moments Purphoros was doing the job of a lifetime, as he handled around 40 monsters. It was only thanks to his Fire Goddess that he was still alive, this was a nightmare in itself.

Then another rescuing hand came when Odin who had his 'Zephyr's Swiftness' activated appeared holding 5 vials of the Magical Monster Bait in hand, while the hordes of monsters could be heard loud and clear.

Elyse and the rest of the slower party members got rescued directly by Odin who took their vials and allowed them to get to safety, entering Madelaire without getting killed.

Holding his Soulrend Blade he looked at Purphoros' direction and flashed a wide smile behind his Elven Mask.

'This cheeky bastard actually managed to stay alive. Molten Barrier helped him a lot, but he actually got the whole kiting mechanics down quite fast. Man, this makes me proud knowing that I didn't yapp for nothing all this time.'

"Bravo, Purphoros, you managed to stay alive with all this pressure. Now, it's time to reward you."

Without waiting for a response, Odin's grip tightened on the hilt of his sword, and he took a deep, measured breath. In one fluid motion, he swung the Soulrend Blade in a wide arc, unleashing one of his AoE skills that survived the purge of his Knight Class Skill Tree, Horizon Slash.

Then, in a blinding flash of crimson light, the energy stored within the blade erupted outward. A shockwave that carved a massive, horizontal arc through the battlefield, and landed square on all the monsters the Tank was entertaining.

For a split second, there was silence.

The monsters, as if triggered by an invisible signal, all turned their attention toward Odin. The bait he carried amplified their bloodlust, driving them into a frenzy. They roared in unison, a deafening cacophony of rage, before charging toward him with enraged eyes, growing insane with each meter they were covering, as if affected by the bait in his possession.

Odin smirked behind his mask, the thrill of this experience was evident, regardless of how long has he spent inside Satisfy World, such occasions were truly rare.

"Molten Barrier on me, babe! I'll have to swim a bit in a pile of flesh to get them packed as you like," Odin called out to Eve, his tone almost casual despite the impending onslaught.

"Huhu, this reminds me of when we cleared that Lizardmen Shaman Dungeon. Take it, my love. Just don't die on me."

"As if! I still have a Trump Card under my sleeve."

'Blessing of Earth'

[You have consumed 25 RE. User has received the 'Terra's Resilience' Buff.]

[The user is infused with the strength of the earth for 5 minutes. The user's physical and magical defense is enhanced by 200% for the duration of the blessing. User becomes immune to knockbacks while earth-based abilities cost 15% less mana during this period.]

The Terra's Resilience buff manifested as a series of layered, stone-like plates that covered Odin's body, each one etched with glowing runes that pulsed with a steady, rhythmic light.

These plates moved with him, seamlessly shifting and adapting to his movements, providing unparalleled protection while maintaining his agility.

The regal crimson aura belonging to the Sovereign of Red Energy shifted with the activation of Terra's Resilience. Now the aura around him gleamed with a dark, earthen glow, and with every breath, he could feel the power of the earth coursing through his veins, and it felt as if he turned into a mountain himself. It was hard to explain, but this was the gist of things.

Maybe a God or Archmage could give a better description of what it felt to turn into Earth itself.

Odin allowed the monsters to close in, feeling their claws and fangs strike against the Molten Barrier and the Terra's Resilience, but there was not even a dip into his Health Gauge. It felt as if his body became an impenetrable fortress, and instead of Elite monsters attacking him, they were just ants to a behemoth.

To the onlookers in the party, especially Purphoros, it seemed as if Odin had become an immovable object.

They watched him with dumbfounded expressions, and if Purphoros and the rest were beyond impressed, the players who were victims of this 'evil' ploy could barely collect their jaws from the ground.

"Should I help him? How many monsters are there? My God." Purphoros muttered, his mind unable to fully comprehend the sight before him.

"How... how is he doing this?" another party member echoed, their voice trembling with the same incredulity.

On the other hand, Odin remained calm and collected amidst this chaos. His eyes flickered toward the target spot where Eve was hovering in the air, akin to a Death Star ready to wipe anything and everything in its sight, while he began moving the monsters to where Eve liked them for her Flamestrike Spell.

A smirk tugged at the corners of Odin's mouth as he moved the last of the beasts into position. "Eve, they're all yours," he called out, his voice carrying through the battlefield with an almost casual air, as if he were handing over a perfectly executed plan to its final executioner.

Up in the air, Eve's expression was one of cold focus, her body pulsing with fiery mana that built with every passing second.

She extended her arms outward, the flames around her coalescing into a massive sphere of pure, concentrated fire. The temperature in the vicinity spiked dramatically, and the air itself seemed to warp under the intense heat.

"Flamestrike!" Eve's voice rang out like a death knell, resonating with power as she unleashed one of her Ultimate Spells.

The sphere of fire expanded rapidly, transforming into a colossal pillar of flames that shot downward from the sky with the force of a meteor. The pillar of fire collided with the ground, directly in the center of the gathered horde.

The impact was cataclysmic.

A blinding flash of light erupted from the point of contact, and a shockwave of heat and force radiated outward, disintegrating anything and everything in its path.

The beasts caught within the Flamestrike were incinerated instantly, their roars were cut short as they were reduced to nothing more than ash and cinders.

The flames surged higher, climbing into the sky like a fiery pillar that threatened to reach the heavens. The intense heat and blinding light forced everyone on the battlefield, even Odin, to shield their eyes.

The smell of burning flesh and molten rock filled the air, the once chaotic and desolate farmlands now consumed by a raging inferno that slowly died down as there was no longer any materials to act as fuel to the flame.

For a few long moments, nothing could be heard but the roar of the flames, and then, as suddenly as it had begun, the firestorm started to dissipate. The pillar of fire shrank, pulling back into itself until it was no more than a flicker of flame before vanishing entirely.

The ground where the monsters had stood was now a smoldering crater.

Silence fell over the battlefield, a stark contrast to the cacophony of battle that had raged just moments before, yet the sound of notifications began to flood each of Odin's party members, their EXP Bars surging up like a tidal wave.

Ding!

Ding!

Ding!

"Damn... that was... insane," Purphoros whispered, his voice filled with awe as he stared at the crater that now marred the battlefield.

The other party members exchanged glances, their expressions ranging to astonishment and respect.

Odin, who was washed away with EXP from the death of hundreds of beasts, couldn't hold back his chuckle, while giving a thumbs up to Eve who was levitating in the sky.

[Quest completed (Mutated Wild Beasts(A): 50/50)]

[Quest completed (Dire Beasts(B): 20/20)]

..

[You have leveled up! Congratulations on reaching level 72.]

..

He stood tall amidst the devastation, his Elven Mask concealing any hint of emotion as he surveyed the aftermath of their coordinated assault.

His eyes scanned the horizon, ensuring that no stray creatures remained to pose a threat, and indeed, nothing escaped from Eve's Flamestrike, lucky him, Satisfy World had a feature that ensured that allied forces wouldn't get hurt by party member's AoE spells, only if the terrain was destroyed and the environment damaged the individuals involved.

"Marvelously done, love," Odin called out, his voice clearly full of pride for his woman.

Eve began to descend gracefully from her elevated position, and as she reached the ground, she moved closer to Odin, the distance between them shrinking until she stood right beside him, but nothing couldn't wipe the smile off her face, especially when Odin began teasing her.

⤷ Odin: You got a golden star for being such a good girl. I'll make sure to spoil you like there's no tomorrow.

⤷ Eve: Oh? Is that so? Well then, I suppose there's no need to hold back next time.

Eve reached out, her hand gently resting on Odin's arm and without warning, she leaned in, her eyes locking with Odin's through the gap of his mask, before not long she removed his Elven Mask, but because there was a distance between the onlooking players, they couldn't make out his features.

Looking at his handsome face, Eve couldn't help giving a coy smile with her plump lips.

"You know I can't kiss you if you hold that mask on your face. Take that ugly thing away."

She leaned into Odin, pressing her voluptuous body flush against his own, and as Odin's strong arms encircled Eve, she could feel herself melting into his embrace, her body heating up against his firm physique. She gazed up at him adoringly, utterly captivated by the confident intensity in his crimson eyes.

He was the first one to share his desire with Eve, leaning in, his lips crashing against Eve's sending her way a scorching, passionate kiss. She wasn't shy at all, and similar to Odin, she knew how to kiss pretty well. Odin's tongue plunges into her mouth, while Eve has her hands roam all over his body, excited to feel every inch of his body.

It was a long passionate kiss that resulted in Eve breaking it off, as she began having trouble breathing, unlike Odin who gave the impression that he was some Olympic Swimmer with three lung capacity.

"Honey, your kisses always leave me breathless. Be gentle with me, it's already midnight for me. I really have to sleep for the new project I got at work." she whispers against his lips, her voice thick with desire.

Her desire was telling her to continue following what was beginning with her lover, while her logic was telling her to stop.

Eve's hands roam eagerly over his muscular form, fingers trailing down his chest, before not long she rises up on her toes, having her fingers trace the strong lines of his jaw.

Hearing her conflicted by the duality of their relationship, he relented allowing her to have a relatively peaceful night.

"Alright, I'll stop messing around with you." said Odin, licking his lips slowly, savouring her lingering taste.

Eve flushed when she saw Odin tempting her, at times she was thinking that he was the Devil Incarnate, so perverted, but it was a side of him that she loved too.

"I suppose I can log out?"

Odin chuckled softly, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Sweet dreams, darling," he whispered, giving her a gentle kiss on the forehead.

With a deep breath, Eve reluctantly pulled away from Odin's embrace. She opened her menu and selected the option to log out.

As she did so, her form began to shimmer, the edges of her body flickering as she disconnected herself from the Satisfy World. In an instant, she vanished, leaving behind only the faint echo of her presence and the warmth that had surrounded Odin.

"Oh well, we began catching up quite nicely. Unfortunately she will miss out from burning and bullying the goblins."
