The reason I give NPCs background stories like this is to give them depth and personality. After all, if I just write "love me" they are just flat characters programmed to love me.

Background Story (Lora)

As the last remaining heir to the throne after the murder of her entire family, Amber accepted the crown and became queen. Despite all the heavy burdens the crown placed on her shoulders, she tried to do her best for her tribe. But successive famines, the declaration of war by three tribes against them and the death of the royal family - her father, mother and siblings - brought the tribe to the brink of extinction. But Ashfall intervened just in time to end the war and provide the tribe with a new habitat on the fourth floor of Nazarik, moving them away from the arid land. After Ashfall helped her and her tribe, the young girl developed an extreme love for her "Prince Charming" and joined him. After these events, the whole tribe began to worship Ashfall as their god. To worship his divine splendor, the entire tribe formed a cult led by Amber and began to do their best to serve their God Ashfall to the death.
