Peach Blossom Dual Cultivation

Chapter 82: Following You for Life

Just as Yamamoto Yuki and Muto Yukiko were discussing Zhou Lang, the phone on the bedside table began to vibrate.

Muto Yukiko quickly handed the phone to Yamamoto Yuki.

“Who’s calling?”

Yamamoto Yuki asked. This was her private number, and very few people had it.

“It’s an unknown number,” Muto Yukiko replied.

Yamamoto Yuki hesitated for a moment, then answered the call.

“It’s Zhou Lang,” came the voice from the other end as soon as the call connected.

“Master, what are your orders?”

Yamamoto Yuki was startled but immediately responded. She hadn’t expected Zhou Lang to call her so soon, especially at night.

“I’m already inside the Lan Gui Garden. I’ll be in your room in three minutes,” Zhou Lang instructed. He gave Yamamoto Yuki just enough time to get dressed.

“Master, I’ll come out to meet you,” Yamamoto Yuki said, startled. She couldn’t fathom why Zhou Lang was in such a hurry and briefly worried that he had changed his mind and decided to kill her and Muto Yukiko. She decided it was best to be as respectful as possible.

“No need. I can sense both your and Muto Yukiko’s presence. I’ll find you right away,” Zhou Lang said before hanging up.

“Yukiko, hurry up and get dressed,” Yamamoto Yuki commanded urgently.

“What’s going on? What does the Master want?”

Muto Yukiko asked, curiosity in her voice.

“The Master is already on the estate. He’ll be here in less than three minutes. Judging by his speed, he might arrive in under a minute,” Yamamoto Yuki explained as she hurriedly pulled on her kimono. There was no time to find anything else to wear.

Hearing this, Muto Yukiko also scrambled to get dressed. Although both women were still virgins and relatively open-minded, meeting Zhou Lang in their undergarments still felt inappropriate.

Knock, knock, knock!

As the knocking echoed from the door, Yamamoto Yuki and Muto Yukiko had just finished dressing. However, the blush from their earlier entanglement lingered on their faces.

Naturally, it was Zhou Lang at the door.

“Master, please come in,” Muto Yukiko said as she quickly opened the door and welcomed Zhou Lang inside.

“Master,” Yamamoto Yuki also greeted, bowing deeply. Her kimono’s neckline was wide, and as she bent forward, a large expanse of her white chest was exposed, revealing a glimpse of cleavage.

“No need to be so formal,” Zhou Lang said, his gaze briefly sweeping over the two women.

Both Yamamoto Yuki and Muto Yukiko were provocatively dressed, their kimonos barely concealing the enticing curves beneath. Zhou Lang’s heart raced as he recalled the earlier scene of their pale bodies entwined on the bed. The image was so vivid and sensual that it lingered in his mind.

“Master, what can we do for you?”

Yamamoto Yuki asked. Sensing Zhou Lang’s calm tone, she felt somewhat relieved, thinking he wasn’t here to kill her or Muto Yukiko.

“I have a dangerous task for you this time. Originally, I thought I could just call, but I was worried you might not take it seriously and could get hurt. So, I decided to come personally to explain the details,” Zhou Lang said.

“Master, thank you for your concern. Since you’ve come all this way, you must be tired. Why don’t you lie down on the bed? We can massage you while you explain the task,” Yamamoto Yuki suggested, her eyes glimmering with affection.

“It seems Yamamoto Yuki does have feelings for me. I should probably keep my distance to avoid complications with Zhao Xiaorou or Ivanova,” Zhou Lang thought. He then said, “I’ll just sit and talk.”

However, there was no sofa in the bedroom, so Zhou Lang had no choice but to sit on the bed.

The bed was soft and fragrant, making it quite comfortable. Yamamoto Yuki kicked off her slippers and climbed onto the bed, beginning to massage Zhou Lang’s shoulders.

Of course, it wasn’t entirely Yamamoto Yuki’s fault for being so forward. In Japan, it was common for men to be treated like royalty at home. Women would help men with their ties or shoes when they left the house, and upon their return, take their briefcases, prepare fresh clothes, and even draw baths. Japanese women excelled in the traditional role of serving their husbands, making marriage to one feel quite luxurious.

“How long have you been in here? Are you familiar with Yunnan Province?”

Zhou Lang asked. Although he was a highly trained cultivator and didn’t usually feel fatigued, the massage from a beautiful woman was still pleasant.

“Master, we’ve been here for three years. We’ve taken on several missions in Yunnan, so we’re quite familiar with the area,” Yamamoto Yuki replied, continuing her massage.

“Do you know about the Shangguan family?”

Zhou Lang asked.

“Yes, they’re a powerful force. Master, do you have a grudge against them?”

Yamamoto Yuki asked cautiously. She was wary of ancient martial families and cultivation clans. Although she had completed many missions here, she had always avoided provoking those ancient families or cultivators.

“There’s some bad blood,” Zhou Lang admitted.

“This time, I need you to monitor and gather intelligence on the Shangguan family. I know they’re powerful, so don’t engage them directly. Just keep an eye on their movements and ensure your safety. Ideally, I’d like to know the cultivation level of their patriarch, Shangguan Long, and the realm of any reclusive elders in the family.”

“Master, monitoring the Shangguan family and assessing Shangguan Long’s cultivation level won’t be too difficult. But investigating the reclusive elders will be more challenging,” Yamamoto Yuki explained.

“It’s not impossible, but we’ll need a detailed plan. Give me a day to organize our ninjas to start surveillance.”

“One day is fine. If you complete the task well, I’ll remove the poison from your body. After that, whether you continue to follow me or not will be up to you,” Zhou Lang said. As a well-educated man, he understood that leadership required a balance of rewards and punishments. Although Yamamoto Yuki and Muto Yukiko were poisoned and compelled to follow his orders, he knew some incentive would encourage their best efforts.

“Master, we will follow you for life,” Yamamoto Yuki and Muto Yukiko exchanged glances and said in unison.

“Whether you continue to follow me or not, we’ll discuss later,” Zhou Lang replied.

“Master, perhaps I should leave so you and the Clan Leader can discuss the plan for monitoring the Shangguan family,” Muto Yukiko suggested slyly. She knew that men were generally more traditional.

“Go ahead,” Yamamoto Yuki said before Zhou Lang could respond.

Muto Yukiko swayed her hips as she left the room, leaving Zhou Lang and Yamamoto Yuki alone in the bedroom.
