Perfect Imperfection: Resurrection of the Wayward Heart

"Say what?" Viviana scoffed, "Say what you couldn't?"

The two questions Viviana asked back as the reply to hers made An Mey regret letting her curiosity get to her. She wanted to know what was going on Viviana's head. But she had forgotten that she was one of those people who Viviana would put her guard up against. After all she was sent by Agent Yan.

Nobody said a word. The air seemed to be grazing at Elisa's skin despite being indoor. She hated such tense atmosphere and wanted to get away from it.

"I…I'll go get us some snacks." The little assistant stood up rubbing her arms.

"Sister Vivi. Do you want me to get you anything?

The said person thought for a second and looked at the two empty package on the table and the mess she'd created.

"Sunflower seeds?" Viviana replied, uncertainty in her voice as she observed her manager for her reaction.

"…"

Manager An knew that their previous conversation had ended. And Viviana was back to her state once again, as if the conversation has never happened.

Helpless, Manager An replied.

"Let's have hot pot instead."

It was a wordless apology from the manager.

"Really?"

Even Viviana couldn't hide her surprise. After all, her manager restricted her from having hot pot for this whole winter.

"I'll go get the ingredients!!"

Elisa, afraid that Manager An would take back what she said, rushed out the door. Though she didn't require to restrict her diet, as an assistant, she felt bad to indulge herself in front of Sister Vivi who was. And this was a rare, once in blue moon situation. For the three of them to have a meal together.

But as she walked out of the apartment complex, she couldn't help but remember the conversation between Manager An and Viviana which she had interrupted. It reminded her of her own situation.

Before she became Viviana's assistant, she was assigned to two artists. The first one was an actress. But after just two months into her job, she changed her for someone else. She didn't blame her because she was indeed clumsy at that time. And being a fresher was not an excuse she could give.

Her second assignment was better. She learned from her mistakes and had done her very best to satisfy the idol she was assigned to. The idol was of her age and was very close to her. Outwardly.

The idol would give her 'extras' but it happens always before others. Whenever she wanted to order some food, she'd ask Elisa to get it. And after taking just a bite of it, she'd say,

"I can't eat too much of it. Elisa, you take it."

Not wanting to waste the food, Elisa would finish it. And truth be told, she had the chance to try different type of cuisines she had never imagined she would have from top restaurants because of the idol.

But a comment always made her feel worthless.

"I'm so jealous of you Elisa. You can eat anything you like and don't have to worry about getting fat."

And all of these always had to happen in front of someone. Maybe it was not the words themselves that made her uncomfortable. But the look the idol gave her as she said those words. Those eyes which were squirmed as though they were looking at something so insignificant.

Later, Elisa noticed that the idol wasn't really treating her well. But using her to build up her kind and friendly image. She became a tool for her to shine. A backdrop.

At around 5 pm, Enlighten Studio, which was Han Jun's studio, released a lengthy statement as a clarification. The content of the article was that the woman who was captured in the photo happened to be Han Jun's sister who was pregnant and because of her health issues, she was admitted to the hospital by Han Jun who was with her at that time.

They specifically mentioned that Idol Han Jun had no relation with Viviana and the media and netizens should not speculate and harm the innocence's reputation.

Han Jun also tagged the post and wrote.

[Don't worry my little Twinkles*. Your Han Han is still single. And if there ever come a time when I find my other half, I'll make sure to inform you first.]

Lord Han's fan could finally release the breath they had been holding.

One after another the fans were voicing out their reliefs. But some couldn't help but remember that one woman associated in the scandal.
