A brilliant white light enveloped Treecko, making its form indistinguishable. As seconds ticked by, the shape of the glowing aura gradually grew taller, larger, and more slender.

The blue-capped Trainer's expression shifted with realization upon witnessing Treecko's evolution. This was Kalia's true objective; as Grovyle, it indeed possessed the capability to challenge Mightyena effectively.

As the brightness subsided, Treecko's evolution completed, revealing a sleek, green body.

The most significant change occurred with Treecko's tail. Upon evolving into Grovyle, the bulky tail vanished, replaced by two thin, delicate appendages.

On Grovyle's wrists, three deep-green leaves emerged—its primary weapons. Although they appeared soft, they could instantly become razor-sharp.

Additionally, there was the long leaf atop its head, another distinctive feature of Grovyle.

With the addition of leaves on its wrists, Treecko, now Grovyle, effortlessly mastered the Bug-type move Fury Cutter post-evolution.

This move proved particularly effective against the Dark-type Mightyena, as Bug-type attacks have a natural advantage over Dark-types.

Grovyle's gaze became even sharper as it swiftly charged forward. After evolving, Grovyle's speed base stat increased significantly to 95 points, making it exceptionally fast.

"Mightyena, use Ice Fang!"

The blue-capped Trainer was quite fortunate; while Mightyenas have a chance to learn any of the three Fang moves, it is not guaranteed. Most Mightyenas fail to acquire these skills upon evolution.

His Mightyena had independently mastered Ice Fang, though it hadn't learned Fire Fang or Thunder Fang yet. Nonetheless, this feat showcased its exceptional prowess.

With Mightyena's strong attacking capabilities, if its Ice Fang connected with Grovyle, the outcome would be devastating.

Kalia's expression changed, her worst fear materializing. Knowing that Mightyena could use Ice Fang made close combat extremely risky.

If Mightyena managed to land a bite, Grovyle might suffer severe damage and lose its ability to fight effectively.

"Grovyle, avoid Mightyena's Ice Fang." Kalia could only offer this warning. Had she known Mightyena possessed Ice Fang, she definitely wouldn't have chosen Fury Cutter.

Even using Mega Drain, although less effective against Mightyena, at least would have ensured Grovyle maintained distance and avoided easy harm.

Grovyle had already charged towards Mightyena, its three leaf-like wrist blades sharpening instantly like knives, ready to slice through the opponent.

"Oh no." Witnessing this, Kalia knew her Grovyle was in peril; now all she could do was hope it would swiftly break free from Mightyena's biting grip.

The freezing teeth exerted immense pressure on Grovyle's arm, eliciting a look of intense pain as it struggled desperately to escape.

Simultaneously, the Mightyena also suffered from the injuries caused by Fury Cutter, experiencing continuous pain. However, it refused to release its grip.

Grovyle's strength rapidly diminished as the Ice energy from Ice Fang seemed to freeze its blood, causing its movements to slow down significantly.

"Grovyle, quickly break free!" Kalia anxiously shouted. The Ice-type move, Ice Fang, dealt substantial damage to the Grass-type Grovyle. If it remained clamped, the severe injury would undoubtedly render it unable to continue battling.

As Lian witnessed Grovyle being bitten by Ice Fang, he realized it was his turn to step in soon.

Mightyena had high attack capabilities, combined with Grovyle's relatively low defense, and the double damage effect nearly incapacitated Grovyle instantly.

Grovyle had just evolved, while Mightyena might already be at level 20 or higher, indicating a significant gap between them.

Unlike Grovyle, which lacked the system advantage, despite its speed, it possessed a fragile physique. A single hit from a super-effective move could potentially knock it out immediately.

Gradually losing strength, Grovyle eventually gave up struggling. Its arm became encased in a thin layer of frost, leaving its body frozen and rigid.

Smiling confidently, the blue-capped Trainer realized Kalia now only had her Charmander left, making it virtually impossible for her to win.

"Charmander, it's up to you," Kalia looked at Lian, relying on his performance with Charmander. Fortunately, Mightyena didn't have any particularly strong moves against Charmander, and considering Mightyena's injuries, there was still a chance.

Lian leisurely stepped onto the battlefield. Since this was a new round, Mightyena's Intimidate Ability could no longer affect him.

Based on his assessment, unless Mightyena's level was exceptionally high, taking into account the damage inflicted by Grovyle's Fury Cutter, one Dragon Rage attack should be enough to defeat it.

However, the key factor would depend on Kalia's commands. As expected, she would likely instruct him to use Dragon Rage, as it is both highly effective and reliable.

Lian had a solid understanding of battle strategies between Pokémon, albeit mostly from game experience. While there were minor differences, most aspects remained consistent with reality.

"Your Charmander is no match for Mightyena," the blue-capped trainer shook his head. Even Grovyle fell to Mightyena, and this Charmander hadn't yet evolved into Charmeleon, making it significantly weaker.

"Charmander, use Dragon Rage," Kalia commanded. Actions speak louder than words; mere talk won't determine the outcome. Grovyle's defeat was unexpected due to Mightyena's Ice Fang move.

However, she wouldn't repeat the same mistake this time. Moreover, Charmander's Dragon Rage was exceptionally powerful, potentially overwhelming the already injured Mightyena.

Lian had been ready to unleash Dragon Rage from the start. As soon as Kalia gave the command, an invisible shockwave kicked up dust, heading straight towards Mightyena.

"Mightyena, dodge Dragon Rage and get close to Charmander, then use Bite," instructed the blue-capped trainer, directing his Mightyena's attack.

His Mightyena hadn't learned Crunch yet, but he confidently believed that even with just Bite, he could directly defeat this Charmander.

Before evolving, Charmander's defense is notoriously weak, known by all trainers. By evading Dragon Rage and closing in on Charmander, victory would still be within his grasp.

Lian smiled; Mightyena's base speed stat was not particularly high, just average at best. Evading this shockwave would be no easy feat.

Even if it managed to avoid the initial attack, Lian had a second Dragon Rage ready and waiting.

He immediately began sprinting. In terms of speed, Mightyena couldn't match him. All he needed was an opportunity to unleash the second Dragon Rage.
