Pokemon Journeys (My Version)

Today, Mew and her friends are taking a break with drinks and a little snack. They are just about to set out once more on the road to Ecruteak City.

Brock finishes drinking from his canteen, "Aah! Well, is everybody ready to get going again?"

"Mmm-hmm," Misty says.

"Yeah," Jen and Molly happily say

Everyone begins to pack their things as the Pokemon happily agree that they're ready to go.

Misty looks down to notice, "Hey, isn't this yours, Brock?" and picks up the guidebook.

Suddenly, a Wobbuffet pops out of nowhere and happily says, "Wobbuffet!" (Welcome!)

"A Wobbuffet!" Tomo says, surprised.

"Maybe Team Rocket's somewhere nearby!" Brock says, surprise.

Mew says, "Actually, this isn't Team Rocket's. There's something different about it."

Soon, more Wobbuffet come popping out from different directions.

"They're everywhere!" Mew says, surprised.

And soon, there are multiple smaller Pokemon that look like the Wobbuffet.

They're small, bipedal Pokémon covered in blue fur. Its head is spherical with ear-like, fingerless arms on either side and a bulbous growth on its forehead. It has a wide mouth with a serrated upper jaw and a pink tongue. Its eyes appear closed, each curving upward to a point in the center. The fur on its body ends in a zigzag pattern, extending over its short legs. The tail is long and completely black, ending in a round, flattened tip with a white, eye-like spot.

"There's so many of them," Molly says.

Soon, the smaller Pokemon lands on Mew's lap. Only this one looks like a pinkish purple color, and it seems smaller than the others.

The Pokemon says, "Wynaut!" (Hello!)

Mew giggles, "Hello to you too?"

"What is it?" Tomo asks.

"It's cute," Misty says.

"I think it's a Wynaut," Mew says, and brings out her Pokedex.

Dexter says, "Wynaut, the Bright Pokemon, and the Pre-evolved form of Wobbuffet. A Psychic Type. Wynaut gather on moonlit nights to play by squeezing up against each other. By being squeezed, this Pokémon gains endurance and is trained to dole out powerful counterattacks."

Soon, the Wobbyffet and the Wynaut point to a specific direction and motion their arms to Mew and the others.

"I think they want us to follow them," Misty says.

"Let's go," Mew says,

Soon, Mew and the others follow the Wobbuffet and the Wynaut through the woods to see where they're going.

Brock soon notices, "Just take a look up ahead."

And Mew and her friends come across a small town with Wobbuffet and Wynaut, everywhere.

"There's Wobbuffet everywhere!" Mew says, amazed.

"I've never seen so many of one Pokémon in one place," Misty says, surprised.

All the Wobbuffet and Wynaut says, "Wobb-uffet!/Wynaut! (Welcome to town!)

Soon, a young man walks over to them and says, "Hi, guys. Welcome to the Wobbuffet Village.

"Hi," Mew and the others reply.

"It's called Wobbuffet Village because everyone in town has a Wobbuffet, and Wynaut, their pre-evolved form," The young man says.

"Everybody has a Wobbuffet?" Tomo asks.

"Even Wynaut?" Molly asks.

"Uh-huh," The young man says.

"Why would they all want a Wobbuffet or a Wynaut?" Misty asks.

"There's just something about them you can't not love. Just looking at a Wobbuffet or a Wynaut makes you warm and happy," The young man says

"WOBBUFFET!" (He's not wrong!) A Wobbuffet says.

"Wynaut!" (That's right!) The Shiny Wynaut says.

The group chuckles and smiles.

"I see what you mean," Brock says.

"I'm Mew and these are my partners Pikachu and Eevee. And my friends, Misty with Togepi and Pichu. Brock. Tomo with Meloetta and Skwovet. Jen with Amaura and Snubbul, and Molly," Mew says.

"Nice to meet you all. My name is Norio," The young man says.

Misty soon notices, "And, guys, look at his shirt."

Norio chuckles, "Everybody wears these at the Wobbuffet Festival."

Everyone is surprised to hear it.

"A Wobbuffet Festival?" Jen asks.

"Wobbuffet! (That's right!) The group of Wobbuffet says.

Soon, Norio shows the group the festival.

"We have this festival every year to celebrate our Wobbuffet and Wynaut," Norio says.

"It looks like a lot of fun!" Misty says.

"It sure does," Mew says.

"Wynaut Wynaut," (And it shows appreciation to us.) Shiny Wynaut says.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket struggles into the village with empty stomachs.

Jessie groans, "I can't go on."

And the three collapses.

"What I wouln't do right now for a cold cut platter," Meowth says.

"Yes, or a hot buffet," James says.

Soon, Wobbuffet appears, "Wobb-uffet?" (Did you call?)

"Why are you always interrupting?!" Jessie angrily scolds, "I've seen a lot of Pokémon, but when it comes to being annoyed, there's no one like you!"

Soon, several Wobbuffet and Wynaut come out to welcome the trio. "Wobb-uffet! Wy-naut! (Welcome!)

Team Rocket becomes shocked and spooked to see so many of the Pokemon similar to their Wobbuffet.

Soon, Someone walks over, "Hello there!"

They look to see a woman with wavy brown hair, and she's wearing a pink Wobbuffet shirt.

She grins and says, "That's a wonderful looking Wobbuffet you folks have!"

"Yes, well, I admit we do quite a bit of wondering about it," Jessie says, warily.

"It's so inspiring to know that visitors like you visit year after year with their Wobbuffet!" The girl says.

"Huh?" Team Rocket becomes confused.

"Come on, my house is just down the road, " The woman says.

Team Rocket looks at each other, puzzled.

Later, they're at the woman's house.

James looks bored, "I don't get it? Why would everyone in town want a Wobbuffet?"

Jessie looks bored, staring at hers, "What could they possible be thinking?"

"Not much, I guess," Meowth says.

"I hope you all have a good appetite! I imagine you're in a hurry to get to the Wobbuffet Festival, but maybe you could stay a few minutes and have a little snack?" The woman says, and comes into the room carrying a giant plate of hamburgers and sandwiches.

Team Rocket is delighted.

"We're just delighted to be with people who love the same thing we do," Jessie happily says.

"That special Pokemon…" James happily says.

Meowth imitates Wobbuffet, "Wobbuffet!"

Soon, Team Rocket begins to chow down.

The woman says to Team Rocket's Wobbuffet, "Eat up, sweetie."

And Wobbuffet does so

"Isn't this nice?" The woman says.

"Wobb-uffet!" (Delicious!) Wobbuffet happily says.

"Aren't we lucky to have a rare and valuable Pokemon like Wobbuffet around?" Jessie happily says

"That's not what you usually say, Jessie," James bluntly says.

Then Jessie turns to the woman, "Lulu, I was wondering, will there be lots of food at the Wobbuffet Festival, too?"

"Yes, and lots of Wobbuffet and Wynaut!" The woman, LuLu says.

Then turns to Wobbuffet, "And just so we'll be able to tell you apart from the other Wobbuffet at the festival, I'm going to put this on you."

Lulu then ties a headband around Wobbuffet's head, causing Team Rocket to stifle their laughter.

"I think you look simply adorable, Wobbuffet," Lulu says.

Soon, Team Rocket bursts laughing.

"It suits you perfectly, Wobbuffet," Jessie says.

"It's definitely you," James says.

"It's Wobbu-utiful!" Meowth says.

"See, Wobbuffet? Your friends like it, too.

"Wobb-uffet! (Thank you!)

"As soon as you're finished eating, I'll take you down and show you the festival symbol," Lulu says.

"The festival symbol?" Team Rocket says, confused.

Lulu soon takes them to see the symbol, which is a giant Wobbuffet statue.

"It's gigantical!" Meowth says.

"Yes, the people in this town are all very proud of it.

Jessie mutters to herself, "The people in this town must all be crazy."

"What did you say, Jess?" Lulu questions.

Meowth laughs nervously.

And James says, "Uh, she was saying how crazy the town is for Wobbuffet.

"Wobb-uffet!" (They love me!) Wobbuffet says.

Meanwhile, up on a cliff, there are three figured and with malicious interest

One of them says, "Well, they're all ready for the big Wobbuffet Festival, but they won't be ready for us."

Another one says, "Alright, it's party time. Hitmonlee!"

Hitmonlee comes out.

Another trainer calls out his, "Machoke!"

And Machoke comes out.

And the last one calls out his, "Primeape!" and his Primeape comes out.

"Okay, let's do it!" One of the trainers says.

And the others with their Pokemon agree.

Meanwhile, Mew and the others are enjoying the festival in different ways, while playing with the Wynaut and Wobbuffet.

Misty pushes one Wobbuffet on the swings, "I never knew Wobbuffet could be fun."

"Same with the Wynaut," Molly happily says.

She, along with a few Wynaut and Wobbuffet, are playing with a ball.

Pikachu, Eevee, and some of the other Pokemon are playing tag, and having fun together with Tomo and Jen.

Norio and Brock are sitting with the Wobbuffet as Mew plays a little music on her Pokeflute, much to the Wynaut and Wobbuffet delight. Even the Shiny Wynaut likes it as it sits on Mew's lap.

Suddenly, someone rushes over as they cry out, "Did you hear? Someone just attacked Annie's Wobbuffet!"

"Attacked her...?!" Norio asks, shocked.

The little girl Aniie who is crying as her Wobbuffet lays before her,battered and beaten as everyone comes running

"What's wrong? What happened to your Wobbuffet, Annie?" Norio asks, worried.

"We were playing by the river when they came and attacked my Wobbuffet!" The girl, Annie answers

"Wobbuffet." (An ambush.) The Wobbuffet answers, weakened.

"This is terrible!" Misty says.

"Who could've done this?!" Tomo asks, angrily.

"Only somebody who doesn't have a heart!" Brock says.

Mew kneels to Annie, "Is there anything you can tell us about the ones who attacked you?"

Annie nods her head, "Yes. There are three of them, and they all have fighting type Pokémon, sir. A Machoke, a Primeape and a Hitmonlee."

Soon, a villager comes running in, "Hey! There's been another Wobbuffet and Wynaut attack here!"

Everyone is shocked at the news

They soon rush to the old man who has his Wobbuffet attacked.

"They caught us completely by surprise! The three of them came out of nowhere, and before I could stop them, they did this to my Wobbuffet and Wynaut!" The old man says.

"Wobb-uffet." (Wasn't fair,) Wobbuffet says, weakened.

Wynaut says, beaten, "Wy-naut," (So mean.)

"Don't worry, Wobby and Wy Wy. Just take it easy," The old man says.

"So there were three trainers, and each of them had a fighting type Pokemon," Mew says.

"Who would do something that horrible?" Jen asks.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket is seen sneaking around until they reach a storeroom.

"Okay, this is where they keep all the food for the festival locked up," Jessie says.

"I feel guilty stealing food from all the people who fed us so well," James says.

"All we're doing is cutting out da middle man!" Meowth says.

They soon peek into the storeroom window.

Jessie happily says, "Food!"

"And it's ours for the taking!" James happily says.

"Let's take! Let's take!" Meowth calls out.

"Over here!" Norio's voice calls out.

Team Rocket looks back and sees Mew and the others.

"The twerps!" James cries out.

"Look! There's somebody sneaking around the festival storehouse!" Norio says.

Team Rocket tries to disguise themselves, but end up failing miserably.

"Team Rocket?" Mew questions.

"What are you three doing here?" Molly asks.

"And with bad disguises," Tomo replies.

"How low can you go?!" Misty asks.

"As low as we can!" Jessie answers.

"Were you three trying to take food from the storage house?" Mew asks.

The Three turn their heads away.

"So what if we were," James says.

Mew sighs, "Of course, because you guys always have empty stomachs."

Then asks, "Anyway, have you heard of a group of three attacking Wobbuffet and Wynaut around here?"

Team Rocket shakes their heads in reply.

"Hey Mew, how can you be sure that Team Rocket didn't do it?" Jen asks.

"Because Annie said that the three who attacked them had fighting type Pokemon. Team Rocket don't have fighting types," Mew says.

Then James calls out, "Hold it one minute! We haven't attacked anybody's Wobbuffet and Wynaut!"

"That's right, and the town's people have gone out of their way to befriend us!" Jessie says.

"Yeah, but they're gonna defriend us when they find out that we tried to…" Meowth says, but Jessie and James push Meowth down so he doesn't reveal anything.

"Okay, but I believe you, especially since none of your Pokemon are fighting types," Mew says.

Soon, Lulu walks over, "What's wrong? What's going on here, Jessie?"

"Oh, thank goodness," Jessie happily says.

"These kids here were about to accuse us of attacking other people's Wobbuffet and Wynaut!" James says.

Then Meowth presents Mew, "Luckily, this young lady with this pink Wynaut thinks otherwise."

"Of course you don't, because Jessie and James and Meowth are very nice! They wouldn't attack a Wobbuffet or Wynaut, they have their own Wobbuffet! I know you're innocent and if you need a place to stay during the Wobbuffet Festival, you're more than welcome to stay at my place," Lulu happily says.

Team Rocket happily says, "Thank you, Lulu!" as LuLu walks away.

Then Jessie turns to the accusers, "See, we told you!"

"Not guilty!" James says.

"Okay but be careful. You don't want your Wobbuffet to get attacked," Mew says.

"Wynaut," (Becareful) Shiny Wynaut says.

Suddenly, a young lady rushes over, "Another Wobbuffet was just attacked!"

And a young man rushes over, "And there's been another Wynaut attack."

The young lady says, "It was my cousin's Wobbuffet and his sister's Wynaut! It happened in the middle of the park!" And rushes ahead, "Hurry!"

Mew turns to the others, "Come on guys, let's go."

With that, Mew and the others rush ahead.

"Good luck finding the real criminals!" James says as Mew and the others leave.

"Not that they're gone, we can get back to business," Jessie says.

"And stealing is our business!" Meowth says.

"WOBBUFFET!" (?) Wobbuffet says, confused.

Back in the park by the giant Wobbuffet statue, another Wobbuffet and Wynaut have been smacked into the air and landed on the ground.

The bystander rushes over, "Wobbuffet, are you okay?! Please, say something!

"Wobbu" (That hurt.) Wobbuffet says, weakened.

Wynaut's trainer picks her up, "Poor Wynaut."

Mew and the others arrive just in time to see the perpetrators in the act.

One of them says, "Heh. I bet you didn't know Wobbuffet could fly like that, did you?"

"That's not funny!" Norio angrily says.

Mew growls in anger, "So you're the three who've been attacking all the Wobbuffet and Wynaut here!"

"That's right Sherlock! You got a problem with it?" One trainer says.

"You bet we do!" Brock says.

"Why don't you leave them alone?!" Misty shouts.

"Who are you three meanies anyway?" Molly demands.

One trainer says, "The name's Tsuyoshi. And these guys are Tetsuya and Hisashi!"

"They deserve it! They're weaklings!" Hisashi says.

"We'll see who's weak!" Tomo angrily says.

"We all will!" Mew says.

Pikachu and Eevee, Meloetta and Skwovet agree.

Soon, Norio remembers, "Now I remember who these punks are."

"You mean you've seen them before?" Misty asks.

"The three of them came here looking for trouble about a year ago," Norio says.

And explains what has happened, "They were raising fighting Pokemon. But instead of training them, they had them attack the village to build up their strength! They damaged a few houses. In the end, they wound up at Lulu's place. That was their mistake. They thought they were tough, but they underestimated Lulu's Wobbuffet. Their Pokémon attacked, but Lulu had her Wobbuffet use Counter and Mirror Coat. The tough guys' Pokemon didn't stand a chance."

"We never forget. That's why we're back," Tsuyoshi says.

Then Tetsuya says, "You beat us once, but you won't do it again! It's payback time!"

"So THAT'S the reason they came back! To get revenge!" Brock says.

"I better go find Lulu and Officer Jenny!" Norio says, and rushes off.

Hisashi says, "We've been training hard and we're a lot stronger now than we were last time we were here!"

"Just ask your wimpy Wobbuffet and Wynaut," Tsuyoshi says.

They'll tell you EXACTLY how strong we are!" Tetsuya says.

Misty angrily says, "Okay, you've proved your point, now get lost!"

We're not going anywhere until we whip every single Wobbuffet in this crummy town!" Tetsuya says.

"Yeah, and the score won't be settled till we're done," Hisashi.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket is still in the store house. However, they're deep in thought about it and haven't touched any of the food.

Jessie says, "I know where here to take food, but this doesn't feel right."

"I agree. Lulu was so nice to us. It just doesn't feel right anymore," James says.

"Yeah. I'm a sneaky cat, but I guess even I have a conscience somewhere," Meowth says.

"Wobbuffet," (I agree.) Wobbuffet says.

"Are you all thinking, what I'm thinking," Jessie says.

"That we forget about taking the food and just enjoy the festival," James says.

Team Rocket soon comes to an agreement.

Suddenly, they hear Norio's voice, "They're at the Festival Symbol! Hurry!

Team Rocket looks and sees Norio, Lulu and Officer Jenny run past towards the statue.

"I never thought we'd see them back in town!" Lulu says.

"And there couldn't be a worse time then during the Wobbuffet Festival!" Officer Jenny says.

"Wonder what's going on," Meowth says.

"Let's find out," Jessie says.

Team Rocket then leaves the storehouse and James closes the door. They rush to see what's going on.

Meanwhile, it's still a stand off at the statue

"So, who's next? Who wants to try their luck?" Tsuyoshi questions.

Mew says, "If you want to prove how tough you are, have a battle with me and Pikachu first!"

"Pika!" (Bring it!) Pikachu says.

"Eevee!" (LEt's rumble!) Eevee says.

"With you?!" Two of the thugs' questions.

"Now why would we want to waste our time with a pipsqueak like you?" Tsuyoshi questions.

"What are you? Afraid?" Mew asks, angrily.

And Misty says, "We're ready to show you just how brave you three really aren't! Let's battle!"

"Right now!" Brock says.

"We'll help too," Tomo says.

"Yeah," Jen says.

"Let's show these meanies what we're made of," Molly says.

But someone says, "No! They can't battle!"

"A three on three battle sounds great! Hitmonlee!" Tsuyoshi says.

Tetsuya calls out, "Machoke!"

Hisashi calls out, "Primeape!"

All three Pokemon step forward.

Mew then calls out, "Chikorita, I choose you!"

Chikoirta appears.

Misty then calls out, "I choose you, Poliwhirl!"

And Brock calls out, "I choose, Golbat!" and Golbat appears.

Tomo calls out, "Go Meloetta." And Meleotta flies into the field.

Jen also calls out, "Go Snubbull." Snubbull jumps off of Amaura and battles.

Molly calls out, "Go Pawmo!" and Pawmo appears.

Tsuyoshi calls the first attack, "Hitmonlee, Rolling Kick!"

Hitmonlee dashes in.

Mew then calls out, "Quick, Chikorita, use your Vine Whip attack!

Just before both Pokemon can trade blows, a whistle is heard.

"Stop!" Officer Jenny calls out.

Both Pokémon halt their attacks.

Officer Jenny calls out, "Nobody's battling anybody!"

"You can't have a Pokémon battle with them!" Lulu says.

"But they're the ones who've been attacking everybody's Wobbuffet and Wynaut," Mew says

Seeing Lulu, Tsuyoshi says, "I figured you'd show up sooner or later."

"We'll battle you, too, lady, but this time, you and that Wobbuffet yours are gonna get run out of town!" Hisashi says.

But Lulu says, "Nobody's battling."

"What do you mean?" Tsuyoshi says.

"I mean I'm not allowed to have a Pokémon battle," Lulu says.

And Officer Jenny says, "All Pokémon battles are strictly prohibited during the Wobbuffet Festival here! Wobbuffet never attack first, so to honor that spirit, the founders of the festival forbid Pokemon battles in the village during this time. That's the tradition and nobody's gonna break it!"

"Wobb-uffet!" (It's the law!) Officer Wobbuffet says.

"I didn't know that," Mew says.

"That explains how those bullies and their Pokémon could beat all the Wobbuffet and Wynaut!" Brock says.

"Sorry, but you'll have to save your Pokemon battles till after the festival," Lulu says.

"We will if that's the rule," Mew says.

Officer Jenny says to the thugs, "You know the rules, now get going!"

"You heard what Officer Jenny said, now leave our village alone!" Lulu says.

Just then, Tsuyoshi says, "We came to whip all your Wobbuffet and Wynaut, and that's what we're gonna do!"

You can't order us around like kids!" Testsuya says

"We'll leave this dump when we're good and ready!" Hisashi says.

"But, if we can't whip the real Wobbuffet…" Tsuyashi says, and turns to the statue, "We'll work on whipping this one!"

"Yeah!" His pals agree.

Everyone is in shock

"What did you three just say?!" Jen asks, shocked.

"They wouldn't dare!" Lulu says, just as shocked.

Tsuyoshi calls out, "Go, Hitmonlee!"

Tetsuya calls out, "Go, Machoke!"

Hisashi calls out, "Go, Primeape!"

The three Pokemon proceed to demolish the Wobbuffet statue.

"The Festival Symbol!" Brock cries out.

Misty shouts, "Leave it alone!"

"Knock it off!" Mew calls out.

Even the others call out, but the three fighting Pokemon continue to tear the statue to shreds. Team Rocket ends up watching on what's going on.

"I can't believe the townspeople ain't fightin' back!" Meowth says.

And Jessie says, "It may be a festival rule, but I think it's ridiculous!"

"I can understand it, though," James says.

"Huh?" Jessie says, confused.

And James says, "It just shows how much the townspeople love and respect their Wobbuffet." And turns to Wobbuffet, "It must hurt you to see the Festival Symbol treated that way, Wobbuffet."

"Wobb-uffet," (It sure does.) Wobbuffet says.

"And you must hate seeing dem other Wobbuffet and Wynaut getting roughed up, too, don't you?" Meowth says.

"Wobb-uffet," (I sure do.) Meowth says.

And James says, "Maybe we should do something to stop them."

"Wobb-uffet." (Yes, we should.) Wobbuffet says.

Just then, Jessie says, "I think you're right about this. As much as I don't want to get involved. We have to do something.

"I agree, the people here were so nice to us," Meowth says.

"Wobbuffet," (They fed us.) Wobbuffet says.

"And helped us," James says.

"Yes. We have to help them, but how…" Jessie says, and thinks.

And has one, "As much as I don't want to go against their rule, but sometimes, you have to break a few rules… even if it's not really the right thing to do."

Meanwhile, the statue is still getting torn apart.

"Hitmonlee, Rolling Kick!" Tsuyoshi calls out.

The attack lands as our heroes watch on, helpless and powerless to do anything.

"I wish there's something we can do," Molly says.

"I know, but we can't destroy the festival's tradition!" Lulu says.

"But we gotta do something!" Jen says.

"We can't just stand by and watch them destroy the Festival Symbol!" Misty says

"We have to," Lulu says.

Mew then walks forward, "I know what I'm going to do."

"Wait, you can't battle against them," Norio says.

"Who says about me battling them? I'm going to beat these punks up with my bare hands!" Mew angrily says.

Brock says, shocked, "That's too dangerous!"

"I don't care! They dare to hurt people's Pokemon. I'm going to hurt the living daylights out of them," Mew angrily says and cracks her knuckles.

Suddenly, a large smoke bomb drops from above, catching everyone's attention.

Tsuyoshi asks, "What's happening?!"

And soon, the Team Rocket motto appears.

Jessie:

Prepare for trouble, we're on the way!

James:

Make it double, we'll save the day!

Jessie:

To protect the world from devastation.

James:

To unite all peoples within our nation.

Jessie:

To denounce the evils of truth and love.

James:

To extend our reach to the stars above.

Jessie:

Jessie.

James:

James.

Jessie:

Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light.

James:

Surrender now, or prepare to fight, fight, fight!

Meowth:

Meowth, dat's right!

What kind of gang are you?" Tsuyoshi questions.

"We're the kind of gang that chases gangs like you straight out of town," Jessie says.

"So why don't you run along before we have to get nasty," James says.

"Oh, yeah?" Hisashi questions, annoyed.

"We're not going anywhere!" Tetsuya says.

"Then we have a problem. Because if you boys don't beat it, you're going to make our Wobbuffet here very unhappy," Jessie says, and she actually sounds angry.

"WOBBUFFET!" (That's the truth!) Wobbuffet says.

"YOU TELL EM, JESS!" Lulu cheers.

"I think Team Rocket ended up making this personal," Mew says.

"What are they gonna do?" Molly asks.

"The people here stood up for us, so we're going to stand up for them!" James says.

"Maybe if we beat you three in a Pokemon battle you'll go away," Jessie says.

But Officer Jenny shouts, "Pokémon battles are against the festival rules!"

Jessie grins, "Who cares about rules? We don't."

"Some rules were made to be broken, you know!" James says.

"And we're here tah break 'em!" Meowth says.

Tsuyoshi calls out, "Hitmonlee, use Rolling Kick!"

Hitmonlee lands a swift hard attack at Arbok.

Jessie calls out, "Arbok, Tackle that Hitmonlee!"

Arbok strikes back at Hitmonlee.

"Machoke, Karate Chop attack!" Tetsuya calls out.

James calls out, "Victreebel, Razor Leaf attack!"

Victreebel then launches an attack, but Primeape blocks the attack.

"I can't believe what I'm seeing!" Mew says.

"They're being decent," Misty says.

"Yeah," Brock says.

The Pokemon nod their heads.

"Arbok, try a Wrap attack!" Jessie calls out.

Arbok closes in for the attack.

But Tsuyoshi calls out, "High Jump Kick, Hitmonlee!"

Hitmonlee strikes the attack and knocks Arbok out.

Tetsuya calls out, "Machoke, Seismic Toss!"

Machoke leaps into the air with Victreebel in its arms, spins in a circle, and throws Victreebel down with enough force to knock it out.

"They're pretty tough," James says.

"They certainly are," Jessie says.

Tsuyoshi says in his remark, "Heh! Well, it looks like we finished off all your Pokemon."

"I think you're forgetting someone!" Jessie says, and calls out, "Wobbuffet, I choose you!"

"Wobb-uffet!" (On the way!) Wobbuffet says, and jumps into the battlefield.

The three festival crashers just laugh, as do their Pokémon.

"Oh, I'm shaking now!" Tsuyoshi says.

"I think Wobbuffet might look a little more threatening if we removed that headband," Jessie says.

"Wobb-uffet!" (Come at me, bro!) Wobbuffet says.

This is perfect, boys. Now we get a chance to beat another Wobbuffet," Tsuyoshi says.

It's like a present, all tied up in ribbons!" Tetsuya says.

The three fighting Pokémon prepare to charge while Wobbuffet waits for the first strike.

"Use your Jump Kick attack, Hitmonlee!" Tsuyoshi calls out.

Hitmonlee leaps in.

"Wobbuffet, use Counter!" Jessie calls out.

Wobbuffet starts glowing and Hitmonlee and its attack are reflected.

Machoke, Seismic Toss!" Tetsuya calls out.

Machoke closes in.

Wobbuffet, Counterattack!" Jessie calls out.

Wobbuffet glows again, and Machoke and its attack are reflected as well.

"Hurry, Primeape! Try a Fury Swipes attack!" Hisashi calls out.

Primeape closes in with swinging arms.

"Wobbuffet, Counterattack!" Jessie calls out.

Primeape is also reflected and sent flying, shocking the three trainers.

"Alright!" Tomo cheers.

"You go Wobbuffet!" Mew cheers.

"Wynaut!" (Go for it!) Wynaut calls out.

"You're not as wobbly as you look, are you?" Jessie says.

"Wobb-uffet!" (No, I'm not!) Wobbuffet says.

"What are we gonna do?!" Hisashi asks, shocked

Tsuyoshi says, "We can beat it if we attack it together."

"Yeah!" His pals say.

Right on cue, the three Pokemon prepare to attack.

Tsuyoshi calls out, "Hitmonlee, use High Jump Kick!"

Hisashi calls out, "Primeape, Fury Swipes attack!"

Tetsuya calls out, "Machoke, use your Karate Chop!"

Wobbuffet, get ready to Counter!" Jessie calls out.

Wobbuffet starts glowing once more as the three close in, but they all get reflected and sent flying, shocking their trainers as they're blasted off, ala Team Rocket.

"Well, looks like the battle's over. Will you be staying for the festival, boys?" Lulu says.

The threesome realize they're surrounded and outnumbered and flee.

Tsuyoshi, Tetsuya and Hisashi cry out, "NO WAY!

"It's good to see someone else run away for a change," Jessie says.

"You're a winner, Wobbuffet!" James says.

"Wobbuffet!" (I sure am.) Wobbuffet says.

Lulu walks up to Team Rocket, "I knew you could do it! Thank you all! I'm really just very grateful!"

"But that still doesn't excuse what you did," Officer Jenny sternly says.

"You're right. We broke the festival rule against battling," Jessie agrees.

"And rulebreakers should be dealt with swiftly," James says.

"We must go," Meowth says.

Team Rocket soon lifts off the ground with their Balloon.

"I wish only good things for you and all your Wobbuffet!" Jessie says.

"Thanks very much for your warm hospitality!" James says.

"Best o luck with the festival!" Meowth says.

"Those guys turned out to be pretty nice," Norio says.

"They may have broken the rules, but they did it for unselfish reasons," Lulu says.

All the Wobbuffet and Wynaut agree.

Mew and the others turn to each other as they see Team Rocket ride their Hot air balloon take their leave.

"I guess even Team Rocket can care about things like this," Mew says.

"I have to agree," Misty says.

"Bet we won't see that again anytime soon," Tomo says.

"Maybe," Jen says.

Later in the evening, the Wobbuffet statue has been restored and all the Wobbuffet and Wynaut who have gotten hurt are all healed.

Norio says, "Thanks for all your help. Why don't you stick around for the fireworks tonight?"

"We're going to have dancing, and a Wobbuffet course, and plenty of food," Lulu says.

"Thanks. That sounds like a lot of fun," Mew says.

"Let's celebrate!" Misty happily says.

Later in the night, Mew and the others continue to have fun together for the night. As it turns out, the little Shiny Wynaut is sitting on Mew's shoulder and decides to stay with her, which Mew accepts. Wynaut then snuggles Mew's cheek with a smile.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket are still riding in their balloon.

"It's too bad we couldn't stay for the festival," James says.

"Yes, but at least we're able to help Lulu and the others for what they did for us," Jessie says.

Then turns to Wobbuffet, "Still in a way, being at the festival kind of game be a little more respectful to you Wobbuffet."

"Wobbuffet!" (Thank you.) Wobbuffet says, and hugs Jessie.

"I said a little, so don't push it," Jessie says.

"Wobbuffet!" (Whatever you say.) Wobbuffet says.

"Well, at least we still got you," Meowth says.

"Wobbuffet," (For sure.) Wobbuffet replies.
