Pokemon Journeys (My Version)

(In the evening, at a town called Viridian City, there is a police station.)

(In front of it, is a woman wearing a blue police uniform; a shirt, skirt, a hat, and heels like shoes.)

(She has auburn eyes, and teal hair in spiky pigtails.)

(Standing next to her is an orange and peach furred Pokemon with black stripes.)

(This Pokemon is known as Growlithe the Puppy Pokemon.)

(The woman announces on the megaphone.)

Officer Jenny: "Attention, pedestrians of Viridian City! Attention, pedestrians of Viridian City! This is Officer Jenny of the Police Department! We have reports about Pokemon thieves in our area! Being on the lookout for suspicious looking strangers! Repeat: Being on the lookout for suspicious looking..."

(Suddenly, the woman, Officer Jenny stops to notice something.)

Officer Jenny: "Huh? Speak of the Devil?"

(The ones who are walking in her direction are Mew and Misty.)

(Mew has her Pikachu sitting on the shoulder while Eevee is on her head.)

(Misty helps Mew walk while she holds her bike on the other hand.)

(Misty turns to Mew.)

Misty: "How are you feeling?"

Mew: "Still a bit in pain on my ankle, but we still need to get to the Pokemon Center."

(Mew says.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pika," (Be careful, Mew.)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee," (You're still hurt.)

(Eevee says.)

(Mew smiles and says.)

Mew: "Don't worry, I'll be careful. Besides, you are more important."

Misty: "Um yeah. We're not too far from the Pokemon Center."

(Misty says, sounding a bit confused.)

(Suddenly, Officer Jenny walks up to them and says.)

Officer Jenny: "Hold it!"

(That makes the girls stop in her tracks.)

Officer Jenny: "What happened to you? Why are you carrying a bike, and the girl with the other arm, and what are you two doing with these Pokemon on your shoulder and head?"

(Officer Jenny asks.)

Misty: "These are Mew's Pokemon, she and her Pokemon had an incident with a flock of Spearow and are trying to get another Pokemon to the center who was also attacked by the Spearows."

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Yeah. We really need to get them to the Pokemon Center. My pokemon are hurt."

(Mew says.)

Officer Jenny: "Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you might be stealing it. Just show me your ID and you can go."

(Officer Jenny says.)

Mew: "Um okay."

(Mew says.)

(She then brings out her Pokedex, and it says.)

PokeDex: "I am Dexter, a PokeDex programmed by Professor Oak for Pokémon Trainer Mew of the town of Pallet. My function is to provide Mew with information and advice regarding Pokémon and their Training. If lost or stolen, I cannot be replaced."

(Misty then places her broken bike on the ground, and presents Jenny with a badge that is light blue and is shaped like a raindrop and her I.D. Card)

Misty: "Here you go."

(Misty says.)

(Officer Jenny looks at the and says.)

Officer Jenny: "Thank you. Now you may go."

(Then turns to Mew.)

Officer Jenny: "You know, you're the fourth person I'm seeing today from Pallet Town,"

Mew: "The fourth? I guess that means Gary already came by already."

(Mew says.)

(Then Misty asks.)

Misty: "If you don't mind me asking, why do you think we will steal Pokemon?"

Officer Jenny: "Well. It's unusual to see your Pokemon out of their Pokeballs and are on your friend there. Plus, we got a report that Pokemon Thieves in the area,"

(Jenny says.)

Mew and Misty: "Thieves?"

(Mew and Misty say, confused.)

Officer Jenny: "Yes,"

(Jenny says.)

(Then she presents a poster on a billboard to the girls.)

(It shows two humans; a man and a woman, and a Pokemon known as a Meowth.)

(The two humans are wearing white and black color outfits with a red 'R' on the shirts.)

(It's hard to see their faces, but the woman has long dark pink to magenta color hair and the man has short periwinkle hair and is holding a rose.)

Officer Jenny: "They're part of an organization called Team Rocket and they'll steal any Pokemon."

(Jenny says.)

Mew: "I understand. They're not getting my friends when I'm around."

(Mew says.)

(Then realizes.)

Mew: "Uh, can you tell us how to get to the Pokemon Center? This is my first time in town."

Misty: "Yeah. And Mew also hurt her ankle and it might be safe for her to walk further like this."

(Misty adds.)

Officer Jenny: "I'll get you there in no time at all."

(Jenny says, and winks her eye.)

[The next moment...]

(Jenny is on the driver seat of a motorbike while Mew, Misty, and the Pokemon, along with Growlithe are in the passenger cars.)

Officer Jenny:: "Sit back, hold on and not yell."

(Jenny says.)

[The next moment...]

(Jenny drives the car away causing the girls and Pokemon to scream in fright.)

(When they're gone, a small hook on a fishing line lowers to the poker and attached itself to it.)

(Then the line pulls up taking the poster off the billboard.)

(Above the police station is some kind of hot air balloon shape like a Meowth.)

(In the balloon are the two humans from the poster.)

(The man is the one holding the poster.)

The woman: "A wanted poster. How flattering,"

(The woman says, sarcastically.)

The man: "Flattering? This picture makes me look terrible."

(The man says.)

The woman: "Then you should be happy that the photographer captured the real you."

(The woman says, revealing her face to wear green round earrings and blue eyes.)

The man: "Exactly,"

(The man says, lowering the poster to reveal his green eyes.)

(The woman says.)

The woman: "We'll show these bumpkins."

The man: "The people of Viridian City will be sorry they ever saw this face."

(The man says, holding a red rose.)

(Suddenly, a Meowth opens its eyes and says in a male's voice in human words.)

Meowth: "We're all sorry to see your face. Stay focused. We're here to capture rare and unusual Pokémon. Don't forget, Meowth."

The woman: "Absolutely,"

(The woman says.)

The man: "But of course,"

(The man adds.)

(Then Meowth says.)

Meowth: "And just remember, I'm the top cat."

James: "You got it,"

(James says.)

Meowth: "Meowth,"

(Meowth calls out.)

[Not long...]

(night time has appeared in the sky with the moon and the stars out.)

(Still on the road, Officer Jenny is still driving the travelers on the motorbike.)

(Jenny says.)

Officer Jenny: "There it is."

(Mew sees a large building that looks like it has a large Pokeball on it.)

Mew: "That's the Pokemon center? It's gigantic."

(Mew says, amazed.)

Misty: "I'm guessing this is the first time you went to the Pokemon Center."

(Misty says.)

(Mew nods her head.)

Mew: "Yeah."

(Officer Jenny continues to drive the motorbike to the center.)

Officer Jenny: "This is tricky. Just hold on. Here we go!"

(Jenny says.)

(Just then, Jenny rides the bike over the stairs and skids on the ground through the entrance of the center.)

[Soon...]

(they slide right in front of the front desk.)

(They soon were a woman wearing a pink medical dress with a white apron and a medical hat.)

(She has brick pink hair in round pigtails and blue eyes.)

(The nurse sternly says.)

Nurse Joy: "We have a driveway, you know."

Officer Jenny: "It's a Pokemon emergency, Nurse Joy."

(Jenny says.)

(Mew stands up.)

Mew: "Sorry to barge in like this, but Eevee, Pikachu and I had an incident with the Spearow. They were chasing a Poliwag who is now badly hurt, and now Eevee and Pikachu got hurt too."

Nurse Joy: "Oh my. We'll do what we can."

(Joy says.)

(Nurse Joy then types on the computer.)

Nurse Joy: "I need a stretcher for three Pokemon, stat!"

Chansey: "Chansey!" (Stretcher!)

(A Pokemon calls out.)

(Mew turns her head to see three large light pink Pokemon with a pouch that has an egg and six hairs that have a dark pink color.)

(They all wear the same hat as Nurse Joy.)

(Nurse Joy then places the two Pokemon on the stretcher.)

(As Mew gives Nurse Joy the Pokeball Poliwag is in.)

(Joy turns to Mew.)

Nurse Joy: "It'll be okay."

(Then turns to Chansey.)

Nurse Joy: "Rush these Pokemon to the critical care unit, Chansey."

Chansey: "Chansey!" (Roger!)

(The Chansey sat.)

(Then Chansey rushes the Pokemon in the E.R.)

Nurse Joy: "We'll begin the treatment right away,"

(Joy says.)

(Mew smiles.)

Mew: "Thank you."

Nurse Joy: "You should be more careful. Spearows can be very aggressive and attack humans and Pokemon in sight."

(Joy says.)

Mew: "Yeah. But the Spearows were attacking Poliwag, and me with my Pokemon wanted to help. However, we ended up getting attacked as well."

(Mew says.)

Nurse Joy: "That is very brave of you, but you need to be careful. They have terrible attitudes and will attack anyone on the spot."

(Joy says.)

Misty: "Yeah. Those Spearows were nasty."

(Misty says.)

(Mew then asks in concern.)

Mew: "Is there... anything I can do to help."

Nurse Joy: "You just leave everything to me,"

(Joy says.)

(Misty then remembers.)

Misty: "Mew also hurt her ankle while she was riding my bike, so she kind of needs some medical care too."

Mew: "It's okay. It's not too bad."

(Mew says.)

Nurse Joy: "Still, it wouldn't hurt to check. I'll treat your Pokemon and then I'll check on you."

(Nurse Joy says.)

(Jenny salutes.)

Officer Jenny: "They're in your hands. I know you'll give the Pokemon excellent care."

Nurse Joy: "You've got it here just in time."

(Joy says.)

Officer Jenny: "That's my job,"

(Jenny says.)

(Then realizes.)

Officer Jenny: "Oh my goodness. I left my motorcycle parked at the front desk."

Nurse Joy: "Next time use the driveway."

(Joy says.)

(Jenny nervously laughs and leaves to get her motorcycle out of the building and Nurse Joy waves goodbye.)

(Nurse Joy then turns to Misty.)

Nurse Joy: "Can you take your friend to the waiting room, so she can rest her foot."

Misty: "Okay,"

(Misty says.)

(Nurse Joy then walks into the ER as Mew sadly watches as her Pokemon are being treated.)

[Sometime later...]

(Mew is sitting on a chair in the waiting room.)

(Her left leg is sitting on a chair as her foot is sitting on the pillow and already been treated with a bandage and a wrap.)

(Mew turns to the ER room and is very worried about the Pokemon.)

(Just then, Misty walks over with a bag of ice, a cloth, and a tray that has food on it.)

Misty: "Feeling okay?"

(Misty asks.)

(Mew turns to her.)

Mew: "A little better. But I also felt bad. I... I tried to protect my Pokemon, and they ended up protecting me, and got badly hurt. And I also got your bike burn to a crisp. I feel really bad."

Misty; "It's okay. You were just worried about your Pokemon. I may not be happy about you taking my bike and ending up busting it, but you were just worried about your Pokemon, and that you ended up getting hurt for them."

(Misty says, as she places the cloth on Mew's foot.)

(Then places the bag of ice on it.)

Misty: "I never seen a trainer go this far to protect a Pokemon. Not many trainers are like that."

Mew: "Um, thanks."

(Mew says.)

(Then says.)

Mew: "Again, I'm really sorry about your bike. I promise to help make up for it somehow."

Misty: "I'm sure that you will, but you should worry about your Pokemon first."

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Okay,"

(Mew says.)

(Suddenly, Mew remembers something and picks up her bag.)

(She then brings out two more Pokeballs, and the Pokemon Egg.)

Misty: "Aww. It's a Pokemon Egg."

(Misty says with a smile.)

Mew: "Yeah. Eevee and I actually found it a week ago and we decided to take care of it since we couldn't find a nest."

(Mew says.)

Misty: "Do you know what kind of Pokemon will come out?"

(Misty asks.)

Mew: "Not really, but I like it to be a surprise. As long as it's a healthy Pokemon, I'll be happy to take care of it and help it grow."

(Mew says.)

Misty: "That's very sweet,"

(Misty says.)

(Mew then turns to see the phone.)

Mew: "I should call Professor Oak to let him know I'm at the city.

(Suddenly, they hear a loud noise.)

phone call: "Ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, phone call, phone call!"

Misty: "Hmm, who could be calling at this hour?"

(Misty wonders.)

(Mew and Misty then walk towards the computer at the front desk.)

(Mew still has the egg in her hand.)

(Misty then presses the call button on the computer.)

(On the screen, it reads 'Voice' only.)

(Mew says.)

Mew: "Um, this is Mew. Who's calling?"

(Suddenly a familiar voice says.)

???: "Here. I'm over here."

(Mew and Misty turn her head to see one of the drawings going down to reveal a screen.)

(It shows Professor Oak's back.)

Professor Oak: "Mew, it's Professor Oak. Don't you recognize me?"

(The professor replies.)

(Misty lets out a small laugh as Mew say.)

Mew: "No professor, I didn't recognize the back of your head."

(Professor Oak turns his head to see Mew is looking at him from behind.)

(He panics.)

Professor Oak: "Eh? Oops, wrong camera."

(He quickly adjusts the screen so he'll be talking to Mew with his front side.)

Professor Oak: "Hello Mew, I just wanted to call to see if you got to Viridian City okay."

(Professor Oak says.)

(But realizes something and becomes shocked.)

Professor Oak: "Mew, what happened to your ankle?!"

Mew: "Yeah. Me and my Pokemon got chased by a flock of Spearows and we were trying to rescue a Poliwag earlier today."

(Mew says.)

Professor Oak: "Really now?"

(Professor Oak says, surprised.)

Mew: "Yes. Misty was able to help me get into town and we got help from Officer Jenny to get to the Pokemon Center."

(Mew says.)

Professor Oak: "Misty?"

(Professor says, confused.)

Mew: "Yes. She's my new friend."

(Mew says.)

(Misty then walks over to the screen.)

Misty: "Hello Professor, my name is Misty. It's nice to meet you."

Professor Oak: "It's nice to meet you, Misty. I'm glad to see that Mew has already made a friend on his journey, and already got a little help."

(Professor Oak says.)

Misty: "You could say that."

(Misty says.)

(Suddenly, the professor hears the doorbell.)

Professor Oak: "Ah, there's my pizza!" I gotta get going, but hope you two will be able to help each other out, and catch more Pokemon. Goodbye."

(Professor Oak says.)

Mew: "Bye,"

(Mew says.)

(Then the professor hangs up the phone.)

(Not long the light over the ER turns off and the doors open.)

(Mew turns her head to see Nurse Joy and the two Chancy pushing the stretcher.)

(Pikachu is laying down and has a band with a light bulb on it, connected to an electric box to give it electricity.)

(Eevee and Poliwag also have bandages on them.)

(Mew walks over and says in concern.)

Mew: "Are you all okay?"

(The three then nod their heads and soon fall asleep.)

Nurse Joy: "Your Pokemon are resting. It's a good thing you got it here so fast. The procedure went well, and they should be fine."

(Joy says.)

Misty: "Thanks to the Pokemon Center."

(Misty says.)

(Mew agrees.)

Mew: "Yes. Thank you very much."

Nurse Joy: "Now your Pokemon needs a good rest in the Recovery Room. You should be with them Mew."

(Nurse Joy says.)

(Mew says.)

Mew: "Thank you."

(Then she turns to Misty.)

Mew: "Hey Misty, I was just thinking, if you like, maybe you can come traveling with me and my Pokemon?"

Misty: "Really? You don't mind?"

(Misty asks, surprised.)

Mew: "I don't mind at all. It will be nice to have someone traveling with me, and I still need to find a way to help make up to you about your bike."

(Mew says, still a bit sheepish.)

Misty: "Sounds good to me. You kind of owe me for this."

(Misty says.)

(Mew says.)

Mew: "Then it's a deal then."

Misty: "Deal."

(Misty agrees.)

[Suddenly...]

(Officer Jenny announces on the megaphones as the alarm goes off.)

Officer Jenny: "Your attention, please, our Viridian City radar sensors' have detected an aircraft belonging to a Pokemon thieves. If you have a Pokemon in your position, exercise extreme."

(Above the Pokemon Center, the two members are riding on the balloon from earlier.)

The woman: "Guess we woke up this sleeping dump."

(The woman says.)

James: "And how dare they act like we're criminals. They should welcome Team Rocket."

(Then the man says.)

The woman: "Well, we'll teach them to respect that name."

(The woman says.)

(Meowth says.)

Meowth: "Meowth! And when we snatch all their Pokemon mice now I'm that Top Cat."

The two humans: "We know Meowth. We know,"

(The two humans say.)

(They then throw their Pokeballs and call out.)

The two humans: "Ekans, Koffing, Attack!"

[Soon...]

(the two Pokeballs fall from the balloon and crash through the window, and land on the ground.)

(Soon the Pokeballs open to reveal a purple round Pokeball with a skull and cross.)

(Then a purple and yellow snake with a rattle on it.)

(Soon, the Pokemon, Koffing, begins to spread smoke across the area.)

(Mew panics.)

Mew: "What are? Who are they?"

The woman: "Don't be frightened, little girl,"

(A woman's voice says.)

The man: "Allow us to introduce ourselves."

(A man's voice adds.)

Jessie: To protect the world from devastation.

James: To unite all peoples within our nation.

Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love.

James: To extend our reach to the stars above.

Jessie: Jessie.

James: James.

Jessie: Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light.

James: Surrender now or prepare to fight.

Meowth: Meowth, that's right.

(Confused, Mew asks.)

Mew: "What are you talking about?"

Jessie: "She just doesn't get it, does she."

(Jessie remarks.)

Mew: "How can I? You don't make any sense."

(Mew replies.)

James: "We're here for the Pokemon."

(James says.)

Mew: "You're not getting any of my Pokemon."

(Mew angrily says.)

Jessie: "Well, we're not interested in your Pokemon."

(Jessie says.)

James: "We seek only rare and valuable Pokemon."

(James says.)

(Joy angrily says.)

Nurse Joy: "You're wasting your time. This is a Center for weak and injured Pokemon."

Jessie: "Well, that may be so but I wouldn't be at all surprised if we find a few more little Pokemon Gems among all the junk."

(Jessie says.)

Mew: "You're starting to bug me,"

(Mew angrily says.)

Jessie: "Isn't that cute."

(Jessie remarks.)

James: "The girl's bugged."

(James says.)

(Then Meowth says.)

Meowth: "Meowth, then lets squashed her."

(James then calls out.)

James: "Koffing, Attack!"

Jessie: "Ekans, Go!"

(Jessie adds.)

(Koffing and Ekans begin to charge at them.)

(Misty and Nurse Joy hurry's Mew pushes the Pokemon on the stretcher.)

(Ekans and Koffing succeeded in destroying the computers.)

(The girls rush Pokemon hurry into one of the rooms.)

(Luckily, the Pokemon attacking don't notice them running in there.)

(Suddenly, the lights go off from the room.)

Misty: "Hey, the lights!"

(Misty replies.)

Nurse Joy: "They must have cut the power but we've got our own Pika power source."

(Nurse Joy says.)

[Suddenly...]

(the light goes on.)

(That's because the backup power source is a group of Pikachu running around in circles emitting electricity to the generator.)

Misty: "Wow! Look at all the Pikachu!

(Misty says, an awed by the many Pikachu.)

(Suddenly, the computer turns on and announces.)

Computer: "Crisis situation has risen. Initiating Emergency Pokeball transport sequence."

Nurse Joy: "We have to save Pokeball."

(Nurse Joy says.)

(Just then, robotic claws begin to pick up the Pokeballs and put them in a machine.)

(They soon ride on a conveyor belt.)

(Nurse Joy types on the computer as she says.)

Nurse Joy: "This is the Viridian City Pokemon Center. We have an emergency situation. Transporting Pokeball."

(The voice on the screen says.)

Nutter: "This is the Pewter City Pokemon Center. Nutter activated ready to receive Pokeballs."

[Soon...]

(the Pokeballs are being teleported one at a time.)

(Suddenly, smoke appears seeping through the door.)

(Koffing bursts open the doors and knock the Pokeballs to the ground.)

Nurse Joy: "Grab those Pokeballs."

(Joy calls out.)

Mew: "Right,"

(Mew says, and picks up the Pokeballs.)

(She and Mew pick up the Pokeballs on the ground.)

Misty: "This is war. Don't just hold them, throw them."

(Misty says.)

(Mew then brings out one of her own.)

Mew: "I know, just what to do."

(Then throws her Pokeball.)

Mew: "Pidgey go!"

(Then Pidgey comes out of the Pokeball.)

Jessie: "That thing can't beat us,"

(Jessie mocks.)

Mew: "You don't know this Pidgey,"

(Mew says.)

(Then turns to Pidgey.)

Mew: "You know what to do, use Peck!"

(Pidgey then flies up and then gives Ekans a hard peck.)

Misty: "That's one strong Pidgey."

(Misty says, impressed.)

(Misty then brings out of her Pokeball.)

Misty: "I'll give you a hand. You grab your Pokemon and get out of here. I'll take care of these three clowns."

Jessie: "That's pretty big talk coming from such a little lady."

(Jessie says, mocking the girl.)

Misty: "At least you're right about the pretty. Thanks for the compliment."

(Misty says.)

Jessie: "The girl thinks she's pretty."

(Jessie comments.)

(Then James says.)

James: "I agree with her. I think she's pretty, too. Pretty Pathetic."

Misty: "I'll show you. Pokeball, go!"

(Misty says, and throws her Pokeball.)

(The Pokeball bounces off the ground and releases the Pokemon.)

(The Pokemon is a Goldeen.)

(A white, fish like Pokémon with orange markings.)

(It has circular blue eyes with orange lids and prominent pink lips.)

(On its forehead is a large horn.)

(It has a small, wavy dorsal fin surrounded by an orange patch and long pectoral fins with orange markings at the bases, a billowing tail fin is orange around the base and turns white toward the edges.)

(Goldeen bounces up and down on the floor, making Team Rocket dumbfounded.)

(Misty then calls back the Pokemon.)

Misty: "Goldeen, return."

(Then the Pokemon returns.)

Jessie: "That her best shot?"

(Jessie says.)

(And James says.)

James: "She's all washed up."

Misty: "You know as well as I do that water Pokemon can't battle on land. I was just warming up."

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Warming up?"

(Mew says, confused.)

(Misty then turns to Mew.)

Misty: "Get your Pokemon out while you have the chance."

Mew: "Right. Come on, Pidgey."

(Mew says.)

(Pidgey then lands on Mew's shoulder, and then pulls the stretcher with the other Pokemon on it.)

(Mew continues to run down the hall, but Koffing and Ekans are chasing after her.)

(Suddenly, Mew ends up bumping the stretcher onto the tire of Misty's burnt bike.)

(And Pikachu wakes up.)

Pikachu: "Pika, Pika?" (Where am I?)

(Eevee and Poliwag wake up as well.)

(Suddenly, all the Pikachu from the center jump from the upper floor and gather around Mew's Pikachu.)

(Mew quickly grabs Eevee and Poliwag as they come down.)

(Once all the Pikachu are gathered around Mew's they let out a Thunderbolt.)

(With that, the thunderbolt ends up shocking Team Rocket as well.)

(Once the electric shock is Mew's Pikachu climbs on top of the pile.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu!" (I'm recharged!)

Mew: "Pikachu!"

(Mew happily says.)

[Suddenly...]

(Meowth arrives.)

Meowth: "Do I have to do everything? That mouse is cat food, Meowth. Just wait Pikachu, you're mine!"

(Mew grits her teeth, and Eevee, Poliwag, and Pidgey are planning to fight as well.)

(Pikachu then turns to Mew and says.)

Pikachu: "Pika, Pika, Pika, Pika!" (I want more power, give me more power, Pika Pika Power, give it to me!)

Mew: "More power?"

(Mew asks.)

Pikachu: "Pika!" (Yes!)

(Pikachu says.)

Mew: "Pika Pika Power?"

(Mew replies.)

(And soon understands.)

Mew: "So you want... You want more power!"

(Confused, Meowth says.)

Meowth: "What this?"

(Mew then uses Misty's busted bike to help give Pikachu more power as the light on it turns on.)

Mew: "Let's just say that Pikachu and I are gonna generate a little excitement for you, Meowth."

(Soon, Team Rocket realizes that there is trouble.)

Jessie: "Uh?"

(Jessie says, weary.)

James: "Uh oh,"

(James replies.)

Meowth: "Meowth?"

(Meowth says, fearing what is happening next.)

(Pikachu then connects the cord to the bike's light.)

(Pikachu then says.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pika Pika Pika!" (I have the power!)

(Then shouts.)

Pikachu: "PIKACHU!" (The Pika Power!)

(Soon, Team Rocket and the Pokemon are being badly electrocuted.)

(They all scream in agony as they are being electrocuted.)

(Soon, Koffing sprays gas, and the thunder travels through them.)

(Soon, the Pokemon Center exploded, sending a blast up in the sky.)

(Officer Jenny rides on her motorcycle, riding on the scene with her Growlithe.)

(She stops the bike and says.)

Officer Jenny: "Too late. But not for the fireworks."

(She watches as the Pokemon Center has been blowing up sky high.)

[Sometime later...]

(Team Rocket are able to ride on the balloon from the rope they climb on.)

(Frustrated by the loss.)

(Jessie angrily says.)

Jessie: "Great! A cat losing to a mouse!"

Meowth: "That Pikachu is not ordinary Pikachu."

(Meowth says.)

James: "It's certainly very rare, a perfect prize."

(James adds.)

(Jessie then announces.)

Jessie: "Let's catch it."

Meowth: "Perhaps we will."

(Meowth replies.)

(Suddenly, the balloon pops a hole, letting out the air and sends them flying around in the air with a scream.)

[The next day...]

(with the Pokemon Center destroyed, but everything ends up turning out fine.)

(On the screen, Nurse Joy is talking to the other Nurse Joy.)

(Then Nurse Joy on the screen says.)

Nurse Joy: "Your Viridian City Pokemon were transported here safely."

Nurse Joy: "Thanks, sis. Mew, Misty, Pikachu, and Eevee are heading your way to Pewter City."

(Nurse Joy from Viridian City says.)

(Then shows concern.)

Nurse Joy: "If they can get safely through the Viridian Forest."

Officer Jenny: "Don't worry from what I see and those four can take pretty good care of themselves well."

(Jenny says.)

Officer Jenny: "Well, I hope you're right,"

(Jenny says.)

(In the Viridian Forest, Mew along with Pikachu, Eevee, and Misty are walking through the forest.)

Misty: "Talk about a crazy night, huh guys."

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Yeah. We had a rough night, but we stopped this Team Rocket and saved all the Pokemon."

(Mew says.)

Misty: "And kind of blew up the Pokemon Center too."

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Yeah, that too, but the most important thing is that all the Pokemon is saved, and we end up with new friends, Poliwag and Goldeen."

(Mew says.)

(Poliwag who is walking with Pikachu and Eevee happily says.)

Poliwag: "Poliwag." (That's right.)

(Suddenly, Misty remembers.)

Misty: "Hey, I've been meaning to ask you, can you really understand Pokemon?"

Mew: "Yeah. I actually can."

(Mew answers.)

Misty: "How can you..."

(Misty about to ask.)

(But Mew answers.)

Mew "I'm not really sure. I've actually been able to understand them my whole life. Plus, I've been raised by Pokemon, so that could be one of the reasons."

Misty: "Wow! You've been raised by Pokemon and can understand them. That's amazing."

(Misty says, amazed.)

Mew: "Thanks. Still, I like to be a great trainer, I'm not entirely sure how, but I'll do what I can to be a great Pokemon trainer."

(Mew happily says.)

Misty: "I suppose so."

(Misty says.)

(Suddenly, a flying bug Pokemon flies past them.)

(Misty then screams and hides behind Mew.)

Misty: "Let's get out of this creepy forest!"

Mew: "Don't worry Misty, we'll get out soon enough, but there's also more friends for us to make while we're here. Let's go."

(Mew says.)

(Then she runs off along with Pikachu, Eevee, and Poliwag.)

Misty: "Hey! Wait for me!"

(Misty says, following after them.)

(Mew, Misty and the Pokemon continue to run down the path of the Viridian Forest.)

(Unaware that it's bigger and darker than they believe.)

(And another new challenge is waiting for them up ahead.)
