Pokemon Journeys (My Version)

(Mew and her friends continue their travels to get to Cinnabar Island.)

(where the Cinnabar Gym is to get her seventh badge.)

(However, Mew is battling with another trainer.)

(The trainer calls out.)

trainer: "Rhyhorn, I choose you!"

Mew: "Bulbasaur, I choose you!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Both trainers throw their Pokeballs and both Pokemon materialize.)

(The trainer calls out.)

trainer: "Rhyhorn, Take Down, now!"

(Rhyhorn then charges as the earth begins to shake.)

(Misty and the others also feel the attack as well.)

(Even the Pokemon felt the quake.)

Misty: "It feels like an earthquake!"

(Misty says.)

Tomo: "A really big one,"

(Tomo says.)

(Brock hangs on to a tree and panics.)

Brock: "Get out of the way! Rhyhorn's Take Down move is like getting hit by a tank!"

Mew: "Bulbasaur, dodge! Then use, Leech Seed!"

(Mew calls out.)

(But before Bulbasaur can do anything, it's hit by the horn.)

Mew: "Bulbasaur!"

(Mew exclaims.)

Brock: "Oh no!"

(Brock panics.)

Misty: "That Rhyhorn must be at a high level!"

(Misty adds.)

(Bulbasaur struggles to get up, and it has a bad lump on its head.)

(Seeing her Pokemon hurt, Mew brings out her Pokeball.)

Mew: "Bulbasaur, return!"

(Mew ries to call back Bulbasaur, but it dodges.)

(Bulbasaur says.)

Bulbasaur: "Bulbasaur Saur." (I can still battle. I still can.)

Mew: "What? You still want to battle?"

(Mew asks, shocked.)

Brock: "Bulbasaur's determined not to give up the battle till it wins,"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "Okay, if you're sure,"

(Mew calls out.)

Bulbasaur: "Bulbasaur," (I'm sure.)

(Bulbasaur says, nodding its head.)

(The trainer then signals Rhyhorn so it will charge for the final attack.)

(Pikachu calls out.)

Pikachu: "Pika! (Bulbasaur!)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (Take it down!)

(Eevee calls out.)

Mew: "You can do it, Bulbasaur! Razor Leaf!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Bulbasaur performs the attack and it lands on Rhyhorn.)

(Then Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Now, use Vine Whip!"

(Then Bulbasaur performs Vine Whip making Rhyhorn spin and finally, falls to the ground.)

(The trainer gasps in shock.)

trainer: "Rhyhorn!"

Mew: "Alright!"

(Mew happily says.)

trainer: "You sure chopped me down to size, kid. Your Bulbasaur's great!"

(The trainer says.)

Mew: "Thanks. Your Rhyhorn isn't so bad, either,"

(Mew happily says.)

(Seeing the battle, Brock says.)

Brock "Bulbasaur can never settle for being second best, can it, Mew?"

Misty: "All of Mew's Pokemon are really stubborn, just like Mew is,"

(Misty says.)

Pikachu and Eevee: "Chu? Vee?" (Stubborn?)

(Pikachu and Eevee say, confused.)

(Mew then picks up Bulbasaur and says.)

Mew: "You were great Bulbasaur, but I think it's good for you to get that bump fixed up."

Bulbasaur: "Bulba…" (Sure.)

(Bulbasaur answers, but feels tired.)

(Noticing it, Mew asks.)

Mew: "Are you okay Bulbasaur? Are you sick?"

(Pikachu rushes over and asks.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu?" (You okay?)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee," (You don't look so good.)

(Eevee says.)

(Suddenly, Bulbasaur's bud begins to glow.)

Mew: "Bulbasaur!"

(Mew says, worried.)

Pikachu: "Pika ka Pika!" (We need some help here!)

(Pikachu worriedly says.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee" (And right now!)

(Eevee panics.)

(Fearing something could be wrong.)

(Mew and the others rush to the nearest Pokemon Center so that Bulbasaur can be treated.)

Mew: "Something is really wrong with my Bulbasaur. It's bulb started glowing all of the sudden. I think it must be sick,"

(Mew says.)

(Nurse Joy observes Bulbasaur to see the bulb glowing.)

Nurse Joy: "I wonder if this Bulbasaur is.."

(Nurse Joy wonders.)

Mew: "Will he be okay?"

(Mew asks.)

Nurse Joy: "I'll do whatever I can,"

(Nurse Joy says.)

(Nurse Joy and Chansey then have Bulbasaur placed on a stretcher and roll him away.)

Mew: "I hope he's okay,"

(Mew says.)

(Suddenly, Togepi notices something and begins to call out.)

Togepi: "Togepriiii. Toge Toge Toge…"

(That catches Misty's attention.)

Misty: "What's the matter, Togepi? Is something wrong?"

(Misty turns her head to see the flowers on the desk are blooming.)

(In the E.R, Mew and the others are looking through the window to see Bulbasaur is being examined by Nurse Joy.)

(Seeing the signs, Nurse Joy says.)

Nurse Joy: "It's happening! Now, I'm positive."

(Soon the ER sign goes dim and Nurse Joy steps out.)

Mew: "Joy, is my Bulbasaur gonna be okay?"

(Mew asks.)

Nurse Joy: "You don't have to worry about your Pokemon. It's not sick at all, just getting ready to evolve,"

(Nurse Joy says.)

Mew: "Evolve? Bulbasaur is going to evolve soon?"

(Mew says, surprised.)

Brock: "You shouldn't be surprised. That mountain man said Bulbasaur was strong and that's because you've done such a great job training it,"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "When Bulbasaur evolves, it'll turn into Ivysaur, right?"

(Misty asks.)

Mew: "Right,"

(Mew says.)

(Then turns to Joy.)

Mew: "When do you think it will happen?"

Nurse Joy: "Let me see,"

(Nurse Joy says, and looks out the window.)

(Mew and the others look to see the flowers blooming outside.)

Misty: "Wow! Just like last time!"

(Misty says.)

Borck: "What do you mean?"

(Borck asks.)

Misty: "When they brought Bulbasaur and Sprout into the Center before, I saw a vase of flowers burst into bloom,"

(Misty says.)

(Everyone is amazed to hear it.)

(Mew notices the flowers sparkling.)

Mew: "Hey, look! The flowers are sparkling!"

Pikachu: "Chu!" (Wow!)

(Pikachu says, amazed.)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (Pretty!)

(Eevee says.)

Tomo: "Cool."

(Tomo says.)

Nurse Joy: "They say that at a certain time of the year, Bulbasaur gather together from all over the world for the festival where they evolve. No one knows why they choose that time, it's different every year, but it seems to have something to do with the alignment of the planets and the phases of the moon,"

(Nurse Joy says.)

Misty: "It sure is beautiful,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "It looks like we got here at just the right time for the festival,"

(Brock says.)

(Then Misty asks.)

Misty: "Where do the Bulbasaur go to evolve?"

Nurse Joy: "Have you ever heard of the Mysterious Garden?"

(Nurse Joy questions.)

Brock: "The Mysterious Garden? Cool name"

(Brock says.)

Nurse Joy: "Yes. But since no human being has ever seen the garden clearly, most people think it's nothing but an illusion,"

(Nurse Joy says.)

(Misty sees the sparkling of the flowers.)

Misty: "Look at those flowers sparkle! That's not an illusion. The Mysterious Garden must be someplace out there."

Mew: "The Mysterious Garden. I wanna see that!"

(Mew says, amazed.)

(Then Mew turns to her Pokemon.)

Mew: "How bout you, guys? Wanna see it?"

Pikachu: "Pika Pika," (Sure do, Mew.)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee," (Me too.)

(Eevee says.)

Tomo: "I wanna see too,"

(Tomo says.)

(Bulbasaur soon wakes up to hear the conversation.)

(Meanwhile, out in the woods, Bulbasaur from all over the world.)

(are traveling to the mysterious garden for their evolution.)

(Later on, Mew and the others are sleeping at the Pokemon Center.)

(Unknown to them, Bulbasaur is walking down the hall, and Pikachu and Eevee's ear twitches.)

(And walk into the hall to see Bulbasaur.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu?" (Bulbasaur?)

(Pikachu says, confused.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee?" (Where is he going?)

(Eevee wonders.)

(Outside, Bulbsasaur is looking out over the forest and is feeling kind of down, and Pikachu and Eevee arrive at the scene.)

(Eevee calms out.)

Eevee: "Eevee" (Bulbasaur?)

Pikachu: "Pika?" (What's wrong?)

(Pikachu asks.)

Bulbasaur: "Bulba?" (Huh?)

(Bulbasaur replies, confused and turns to see Eevee and Pikachu.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pika. Pikachu Pika Pika? (You're up early, you know that? Are you going to the garden festival?)

(Pikachu asks.)

Bulbasaur: "Bulbasaur. Bulba Bulbasaur saur. Bulba Bulbasaur saur." (Looks like I am. But I don't think I wanna go to the festival. All the Bulbasaur go there to evolve.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pika," (I know how it feels.)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee," (Mee too.)

(Eevee replies.)

Bulbasaur: "Bulba, Bulbasaur" (I don't, I don't think I'm ready yet,)

(Bulbasaur answers.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee. Eevee Eevee Vee Eevee." (It's okay Bulbasaur. And I'm sure Mew will understand.)

(Eevee says.)

(Bulbasaur becomes surprised to hear it.)

Pikachu: "Pik Pika Pika Pikachu," (She's right, Mew understands that Eevee and I don't want to evolve, and I'm sure she'll think the same for you if you tell her.)

(Bulbasaur smiles and says.)

Bulbasaur: "Bulbasaur. Bulba Bulbasaur. (You're right, and thanks guys. We can still watch all the flowers bloom.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu!" (Yeah! Good idea!)

(Pikachu happily says.)

Eevee: "Eevee." (Yeah.)

(Eevee says.)

(Bulbasaur looks down for a minute and says.)

Bulbasaur: "Bulbasaur." (This is it.)

(Suddenly, four Vine Whips grab Bulbasaur.)

(Eevee and Pikachu gasp.)

Pikachu: "Pika ka Pika? Pika?" (What's going on?)

(Pikachu asks.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee?" (What's happening?)

(Eevee exclaims.)

(Soon, Bulbasaur is pulled away by the vines, which reveal to be multiple other Bulbasaurs.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pika!" (Bulbasaur!)

(Pikachu exclaims.)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (Bulbasaur!)

(Eevee says, shocked.)

(Soon, The Bulbasaurs begins to carry Bulbasaur away.)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (Bulbasaur!)

(Eevee cries out.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pika!" (Come back here!)

(Pikachu calls out.)

(Soon, Pikachu and Eevee begin to chase after them.)

(Bulbasaur struggles as he shouts.)

Bulbasaur: "Bulba!" (Let me go!)

Pikachu: "Pika Pika!" (Bulbasaur!)

(Pikachu calls out.)

(One of the Bulbasaurs notices that Eevee and Pikachu are catching up.)

(and tries to stop him by using Vine Whip.)

(But the two dodge the attack.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pi!" (Let him go!)

(Pikachu says, about to let out a Thunderbolt.)

(Bulbasaur cries out.)

Bulbasaur: "Bulbasaur!" (Don't do it!)

(Pikachu stops before releasing the attack.)

(Bulbasaur cries out.)

Bulbasaur: Bulba! Bulbasaur! Bulba Bulba! Bulbasaur! (Go back and get Mew! Tell them the other Bulbasaur are taking me to the Garden festival!)

Pikachu: "Pikachu!" (You got it!)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee!" (We'll get help!)

(Eevee says.)

(Eevee and Pikachu then hurry back to the Pokemon Center.)

(where the others are fast asleep.)

(Eevee and Pikachu hurry into the room.)

(Pikachu cries out.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pi! Pikachu!" (Everyone! Wake up, now!)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee" (We got an emergency!)

(Eevee calls out.)

(Soon, Mew and the others are beginning to wake up.)

Misty: "Hey, we're trying to sleep,"

(Misty says.)

(Mew walks to her Pokemon and asks.)

Mew: "What's the matter?"

Pikachu: "Pika Pika Pikachu!" (Bulbasaur was taken by a group of Bulbasaur!)

(Pikachu panics.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee Eevee!" (And they are taking him to the garden!)

(Eevee panics.)

Mew: "What?!"

(Mew exclaims.)

Tomo: "What's wrong Mew?"

(Tomo asks.)

Mew: "Bulbasaur was taken by a group of other Bulbasaur and They are heading to the garden,"

(Mew says.)

(The group becomes shocked.)

(Meanwhile, somewhere in the forest.)

(Team Rocket has stumbled upon the trail of sparkles leading to the Mysterious Garden of the Bulbasaur.)

(Jessie laughs and says.)

Jessie: "Oh, this place is dreamy. It makes me feel just like a princess in a fairy tale."

James: "I feel another sneeze coming. I hate this sparkly stuff! I have allergies!"

(James says, rubbing his nose.)

Jessie: "And I'm allergic to your whining,"

(Jessie says, annoyed.)

(Meowth then says.)

Meowth: "You both give me a rash! Quit your jabbering! We got a job to do!"

Jessie: "Yes! We're gonna get you, Pikachu,"

(Jessie says.)

Meowth: "And there ain't nothing to it but to do it!"

(Meowth says.)

(Soon enough, they see Bulbasaur, Mew's Bulbasaur being carried away by the others.)

(Jessie happily cheers.)

Jessie: "Woo-hoo! It's a Bulbasaur bonanza!"

James: "A Bulbasaur Blowout!"

(James says.)

Meowth: "A breathtaking Bulbasaur bargain bazaar!"

(Meowth cheers.)

(Then Team Rocket cheers.)

Team Rocket: "And they're all ours!"

(and attempts to capture them.)

(However, excluding Mew's, the Bulbasaur then performs Vine Whip at Team Rocket.)

(Sending them flying.)

James: "Our Bulbasaur bonanza went bust!"

(James cries out.)

Jessie: "Well, looks like Team Rocket's,"

(Jessie says.)

(Jessie and James scream.)

Jessie and James: "Blasting off again!"

(Meanwhile, Mew and the others are hurrying down the forest path to find Bulbasaur.)

Mew: "Which way?"

(Mew asks.)

(Pikachu then sniffs the path and points to the right.)

Pikachu: "Pika!" (That way!)

Mew: "Pikachu said it's that away,"

(Mew says.)

(Suddenly, someone says.)

Combee: "Combeee Combee." (They went that way alright.)

(The group becomes confused and soon a small bug Pokemon appears in front of them.)

(It's a small insectoid Pokémon that resembles three pieces of orange, hexagonal honeycomb stuck together.)

(Each hexagon has a round yellow face.)

(The bottom-center face is the main thinker of the three, and it is also the only one "bee" to have a full abdomen.)

(The top two hexagons have a single antenna and a wing connected to an orange-colored joint, and have a red spot on the forehead of its lower face.)

Misty: "Aww, it's actually kind of cute. For a bug Pokemon,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "Bug Pokemon is right. That's a Combee. They originated in the Sinnoh Region,"

(Brock says.)

(Mew takes out her Pokedex and Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Combree, the Tiny Bee Pokemon. A Bug and Flying Type. It collects and delivers honey to its colony. At night, they cluster to form a beehive and sleep. A Combee with a red spot on the forehead of its lower face is considered female."

Mew: "And since this one has one, so it's a girl,"

(Mew says.)

Combee: "Combeee Combee," (All the Bulbasaur went that way, follow me.)

(Combee says.)

Mew: "Combee said she knows where Bulbasaur is and wants us to follow,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "Hurry,"

(Brock says.)

(With that, Mew and the others hurry down the path and follow the Combee.)

(just as Team Rocket crashes to where they were standing, and create a hole in the ground.)

(Soon, the three lift themselves out of the hole.)

Jessie: "Ouch,"

(Jessie says in pain.)

James: "Those Bulbasaur are gonna pay for this,"

(James says, tired.)

Meowth: "We won't take this lying down,"

(Meowth says.)

(Meanwhile, Mew and the others are running down the path.)

(Brock says.)

Brock: "This way! Follow the stream of pollen!"

Mew: "It should lead us straight to Bulbasaur!"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "We must be near the Mysterious Garden!"

(Misty says.)

(However, large vines come out of nowhere and are trying to block their path.)

Misty: "What's that?!"

(Misty says, shocked.)

Brock: "This whole forest is going crazy!"

(Brock says.)

(Then Brock looks ahead.)

Brock: "Look! Those vines are trying to block our way!"

Pikachu: "Pika!" (Oh no!)

(Pikachu panics.)

Mew: "There's no way a bunch of stupid vines are gonna stop me from rescuing Bulbasaur!"

(Mew says.)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (You said it!)

(Eevee says.)

Tomo: "Let's go!"

(Tomo says.)

(Mew and the others dive through the vines before the path can be closed off.)

Mew: "That was a close one,"

(Mew says.)

(Brock stands up and says.)

Brock: "Now, I'm beginning to understand why nobody's seen the Mysterious Garden before."

Misty: "There's only one way to go, now. Into the garden,"

(Misty says.)

(Suddenly, Pikachu says.)

Pikachu: "Pika!" (Yo guys!)

Mew: "What is it, Pikachu?"

(Mew asks.)

(Everyone hurries over and finds themselves looking over the horizon.)

(they see an entire field full of Bulbasaur, and the pollen seems to be traveling towards a giant dead tree.)

Mew: "Wow! This must be the Mysterious Garden!"

(Mew says, amazed.)

Bulbasaur: "Bulbasaur," (Sure is.)

(A Bulbasaur says.)

(Mew and the others turn to see another Bulbasaur making its way to the festival too.)

(Mew asks.)

Mew: "Hello. Are you here to evolve too?"

Bulbasaur: "Bulba. Bulbasaur Bulbasaur Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur Bulbasaur" (Sure am. I've waited until the festival came and now here I am. Better go, the ceremony is going to start.)

(The Bulbasaur says, and takes its leave to the garden.)

Mew: "Okay,"

(Mew says.)

(Down in the field, the Bulbasaur begins to start the ceremony by singing a song.)

(Soon, the tree begins to grow and it's branches grow as well.)

(It grows longer and nearly goes up to the moon.)

(Soon, flowers begin to bloom in the field and blossoms on the trees, leaving the heroes in wonderment.)

Mew: "That's neat!"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "Wow! It's so pretty!"

(Misty says.)

(Soon, giant bangs are shaking the ground and a glow appears in the tree.)

Mew: "What's that banging sound?"

(Mew asks.)

(Coming out of the tree is a squat, quadrupedal Pokémon with bumpy, blue-green skin.)

(It has small, circular red eyes; a short, blunt snout.)

(and a wide mouth with two pointed teeth in the upper jaw and four in the lower jaw.)

(On top of its head are small, pointed ears with reddish pink insides.)

(It has three clawed toes on each foot. The bud on its back has bloomed into a large pink, white-spotted flower.)

(The flower is supported by a thick, brown trunk surrounded by green fronds.)

(This Pokemon is known as a Venusaur.)

(Venusaur calls out.)

Venusaur: "SAUUUURR! ("RISE!")

Mew: "Look, you guys! It's a Venusaur!"

(Mew says, amazed.)

Misty: "It's giant!"

(Misty says, amazed.)

Tomo: "Humongous!"

(Tomo says.)

(Mew brings out her Pokedex and Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Venusaur, the Seed Pokemon, and the final evolved form of Bulbasaur. A Grass and Poison Type. It soaks up the sun's rays as a source of energy."

Brock: "But that kind of behavior makes it sound like a plant,"

(Brock says.)

(Mew then looks around as she says.)

Mew: "I know Bulbasaur is around here somewhere. He's the only one with the bandage stuck on it's forehead."

(Just then, Tomo notices.)

Tomo: "Over there."

Eevee: "Eevee!" (There he is!)

(Eevee adds.)

(Mew and the others soon find Mew's Bulbasaur right away.)

(And it's next to another Bulbasaur.)

Misty: "And there's the Bulbasaur from earlier,"

(Misty says.)

(Mew turns to the others.)

Mew: "We'll need to be quiet, we don't want the Bulbasaurs and Venusaur to notice we're here."

Brock: "You're right, human beings aren't supposed to be here,"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "Let's watch the festival,"

(Misty says.)

(Mew and the others hide under the bushes.)

(Soon, the festival is underway.)

(Venusaur lets out a roar.)

Venusaur: "SAUUUURR!" (RISE!)

(Bulbasaurs roar.)

Bulbasaurs: "SAUUUURR!" (RISE!)

Venusaur: "SAUUUURR!" (RISE!)

(Venusaur roars.)

Bulbasaurs: "SAUUUURR!" (RISE!)

(Bulbasaurs roar.)

(Mew and the others watch as the Venusaur and all the Bulbasaur continue to roar.)

(Soon, the Bulbasaurs are beginning to glow.)

(Venusaur roars.)

Venusaur: "SAUUUURR!" (RISE!)

(Bulbasaurs roar.)

Bulbasaurs: "SAUUUURR!" (RISE!)

(Mew and the others are amazed to see the Bulbasaur are going to evolve now.)

(Meanwhile, Team Rocket comes across the vine wall that is blocking the entrance to the festival.)

(Jessie asks.)

Jessie: "How do we get in there?"

James: "Why doesn't Meowth Scratch his way through with his claws?"

(James asks.)

Meowth: "I just filed them,"

(Meowth says.)

(Jessie then holds out an Axe.)

Jessie: "Alright, garden wall, you axed for it!"

(James does the same.)

James: "We're the toughest team you ever saw!"

Meowth: Let's cut to the chase!"

(Meowth says, holding a pair of scythes.)

(However, the vines attack them and send them flying.)

(but Team Rocket is not going to give up.)

Jessie: "A temper tantrum, eh?! Let's get to the root of its problem!"

(Jessie angrily says.)

Meowth: "Engarde!"

(Meowth says.)

(The three charge at the vines, but the vines chase them away.)

James: "I think its bite is worse than its bark!"

(James screams as he and the others run away.)

(Meanwhile, The Bulbasaur all begin to glow and they all begin to evolve at the same time.)

(They all evolve into Ivysaur, a quadrupedal Pokémon that has blue-green skin with darker patches.)

(On top of its head are pointed ears with black insides and it has narrow red eyes.)

(Ivysaur has a short, rounded snout with a wide mouth and two pointed teeth in its upper jaw.)

(Each of its feet has three claws on them.)

(The bulb on its back has bloomed into a large pink bud.)

(A short brown trunk surrounded by leafy green fronds supports the bud.)

Ivysaur: "Ivysaur!" (Alright!)

(Ivysaur says.)

Mew: "Alright!"

(Mew says.)

(Then brings out her Pokedex and Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Ivysaur, the Seed Pokemon and the evolved form of Bulbasaur. A Grass and Poison Type. The bulb on its back absorbs nourishment and blooms into a large flower."

(Venusaur calls out.)

Venusaur: "Sauuuur." (Begin!)

Ivysaurs: "Sauuuur." (We begin!)

(Ivysaurs call out.)

(Venusaur calls out,.)

Venusaur: "Sauuuur." (Begin!)

Ivysaurs: "Sauuuur." (We begin!)

(Ivysaurs call out.)

(The Ivysaur begin to chant as Mew and the others watch the event.)

Mew: "This must be their evolution festival,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "For a long time, people have disagreed whether Bulbasaur is an animal-like Pokemon or a plant-like Pokemon. If either plants or animals disappear from the planet, life wouldn't go on,"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "They need each other to live and grow,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Maybe you're right,"

(Mew says.)

(Mew then notices something.)

Mew: "Bulbasaur?"

(The others look to see Mew's Bulbasaur.)

(and are surprised to see Bulbasaur is glowing, but is resisting the evolution stage.)

Misty: "It's not evolving!" Misty says.

(The Ivysaur walks to Bulbasaur and asks.)

Ivysaur: "Ivy Saur?" (What's wrong?)

(Misty asks.)

Misty: "What's going on?"

Brock: "It looks like it's trying NOT to evolve!"

(Brock says.)

(Mew says.)

Mew: "Maybe Bulbasaur feels that he's not ready yet."

Tomo: "Not ready?"

(Tomo asks.)

(Pikachu says.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pika Pikachu." (She's right. Bulbasaur doesn't want to evolve.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee," (He doesn't think he's ready.)

(Eevee adds.)

Misty: "What did Pikachu and Eevee say?"

(Misty asks.)

Mew: "Pikachu said that bulbasaur doesn't want to evolve. Eevee said that he doesn't think he's ready,"

(Mew translated.)

(Suddenly, Tomo looks ahead and looks weary.)

Tomo: "Uh guys, I think we got trouble."

Mew: "Trouble?"

(Mew asks.)

(Mew and the others look ahead and are shocked to see Venusaur noticing Mew's Bulbasaur.)

(So are the other Ivysaur.)

(Venusaur says.)

Venusaur: Venusaur, "Ve, Venusaur?" (What? Who is that over there?)

Bulbasaur: Bulbasaur, "Bulba?" (Huh?)

Venusaur: "Vena! Venusaur," (Hey, you! Why have you not evolved?)

(Venusaur demands.)

Bulbasaur: "Bulba Bulbasaur!" (I just wasn't ready to evolve!)

(Mew's Bulbasaur answers.)

Venusaur: "Venusaur Venusaur! Vena Venusaur?" (All Bulbasaur must evolve! Why do you refuse?)

(Venusaur says.)

Bulbasaur: "Bulba Bulbasaur Bulbasaur Bulba Bulbasaur," (I didn't come here for this festival! And I don't think I'll ever be ready to evolve!)

(Bulbasaur says.)

(Venusaur is not pleased to hear it.)

Venusaur: "Saur? Venusaur Venu SAUR!" (What? How disgraceful of you to trespass our festival!)

Ivysaur: "Ivysaur!" (Trespasser!)

(Ivysaur says.)

Bulbasaur: "Bulbasaur?" (What?)

(Mew's Bulbasaur asks, shocked.)

(Above, Mew and the other are seeing what is happening.)

Misty: "The others are getting really angry at Bulbasaur,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "I think I know why. They're mad because Bulbasaur refuses to evolve, but my Bulbasaur doesn't want to. They can't force him,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "I don't think they'll give your Bulbasaur a choice,"

(Brock says.)

(Suddenly, Venusaur angrily says.)

Venusaur: "Venusaur!" (Time to give it up!)

(Then, the giant Pokemon uses Vine Whip and prepares to hit Bulbasaur.)

Mew: "Bulbasaur!"

(Mew exclaims.)

(And jumps off the cliff and slides down.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu!" (Hey!)

(Pikachu panics, hurrying after him.)

Eevee: "Eevee" (Wait for us!)

(Eevee says, and hurries after it.)

Mew: "Leave him alone!"

(Mew screams.)

Pikachu: "Pika!" (Stop it!)

(Pikachu shouts.)

Eevee: "Eevee! (Don't!)

(Eevee cries out.)

(As the vines come down to strike at Bulbasaur, Mew protects Bulbasaur and hits her on her shoulders.)

(Pikachu panics.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pi! (Mew!)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (Mew!)

(Eevee panics.)

Bulbasaur: "Bulbasaur!" (No!)

(Bulbasaur exclaims in shock.)

(Mew turns to Bulbasaur and smiles.)

Mew: "Don't worry Bulbasaur. I'm here."

(Misty and the others hurry down the hill and reach them.)

Misty: "Mew!"

(Misty worriedly says.)

Brock: "Are you okay?"

(Brock asks.)

(They soon notice that Venusaur and Ivysaur notice them.)

Venusaur: "Venusaur?" (There's more?)

(Venusaur questions.)

Ivysaur: "Ivysaur" (Trespasser)

(The Ivysaur say.)

Misty: "Are they mad at us, too?"

(Misty asks.)

Brock: "I don't think they're too thrilled,"

(Brock says.)

(Venusaur calls out.)

Venusaur: "Venusaur?" (Why have you come here?)

(Mew steps forward.)

Mew: "Sorry we broke in on your festival, but the Bulbasaur you're angry is my friend!"

(Bulbasaur is surprised to hear what Mew says.)

(Mew says.)

Mew: "The reason you're so mad is because it doesn't want to evolve, right?"

(The Ivysaur nod their heads agreeing to the question.)

Mew: "You probably feel like it ruined your festival, and I'm very sorry about that, but if my Bulbasaur doesn't want to evolve yet, I don't think you should have the right to force him to!"

(Mew says.)

Venusaur: "Venusaur!" (By the power of nature!)

(Venusaur calls out.)

(Venusaur then shoots some pollen into the air.)

(and more flowers begin to bloom on the tree, which surprises Mew and the others.)

Brock: "Oh, they're manipulating nature!"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "If Bulbasaur evolves, it can do that, too!"

(Misty says.)

(Then turns to Mew's Bulbasaur.)

Misty: "Don't you want to have that kind of power, Bulbasaur?"

Bulbasaur: "Bulb" (No!)

(Bulbasaur answers, turning his head away.)

Mew: "It's okay, Misty. I don't mind if Bulbasaur doesn't want to evolve,"

(Mew says.)

(Then kneels to Bulbasaur and pets him.)

Mew: "Bulbasaur, if you don't want to evolve yet, then you should have told me. I would have understood. I don't mind if you don't evolve right now, you choose when you want to."

Bulbasaur: "Bulbasaur," (That's right.)

(Bulbasaur says with a nod.)

(Pikachu and Eevee snuggle with Bulbasaur with glee.)

(Mew then turns to Venusaur and Ivysaur.)

Mew: "Now, look! You can't just force Bulbasaur to do what you want! Bulbasaur has a right to decide when he's ready to evolve!"

(Suddenly, they hear James voice.)

James: "The pest is right!"

Jessie: "You've got to choose your own path!"

(Jessie's voice comes up.)

James: "And when our path to the Mysterious Garden was blocked.."

(James voice says.)

(And Jessie's voice says.)

Jessie: "We decided to rise above it all!"

(Hearing the voices, Mew and her friends and all the Pokemon.)

(see Team Rocket's balloon drifting past the move above.)

Meowth: "And we provide our own hot air balloon!"

(Meowth says.)

(Familiar with them, Mew says, annoyed.)

Mew: "Now, we'll have to prepare for trouble."

(And with that, Team Rocket performs their motto.)

Jessie: Prepare for trouble!

James: Make it double!

Jessie: To protect the world from devastation!

James: To unite all peoples within our nation!

Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love!

James: To extend our reach to the stars above!

Jessie: Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!

James: Surrender, now! Or prepare to fight!

(Meowth jumps on the edge of the basket and shouts.)

Meowth: "Stop wasting time! Start the machine up!"

Jessie: "We need the motto!"

(Jessie says.)

James: "It has to be expected,"

(James says.)

(Underneath the balloon, a hatch opens and some strange hose-like machine appears.)

Jessie: "Let's get started!"

(Jessie says.)

Misty: "Here we go. Again,"

(Misty says.)

(Jessie laughs and says.)

Jessie: "Hit it!

James: "Suction on!"

(James says as he presses the button.)

(The machine operates and begins to suck up the Ivysaur up.)

Misty: "It's a vacuum!"

(Misty panics.)

Mew: "No kidding!"

(Mew says.)

(Above, Team Rocket sees what is happening.)

James: "It's really working!"

(James says.)

Meowth: "It's a success!"

(Meowth says.)

(As more Ivysaur are being sucked into the vacuum, the bag gets bigger and bigger.)

(Just then, Venusaur uses it's Vine Whip to save some of the Ivysaur.)

Jessie: "It's trying to save them,"

(Jessie says.)

Meowth: "Turn up the suction! Full power!"

(Meowth commands.)

(James presses the button.)

James: "Roger!"

(The power of the vacuum increases and Venusaur is being lifted into the air.)

Mew: "What can we do? Thunder attack might hurt the other Ivysaur that Team Rocket captured!"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "We gotta do something!"

(Brock says.)

(Suddenly, Pikachu and Eevee are being sucked in.)

(Mew panics.)

Mew: "Pikachu! Eevee!"

(Suddenly, Combee and Togepi are being sucked.)

Misty: "Togepi! Combee!"

(Misty panics.)

(Bulbasaur and the Ivysaur use a Vine Whip to grab the four Pokemon.)

(Soon, the Pokemon are able to pull them back.)

(Mew takes Pikachu and Eevee in her arms and Misty does the same with Combee and Togepi.)

(Mew turns her head.)

Mew: "Thanks Bulbasaur."

Misty: "You too, Ivysaur,"

(Misty adds.)

(Then Mew says.)

Mew: "Try to let the air out of their balloon with your Razor Leaf attack, guys!"

(Bulbasaur and Ivysaur then try to use the Razor Leaf attack, but they are soon sucked into the vacuum.)

(James looks down to see the group and says.)

James: "All that's left is a puny little Bulbasaur and an Ivysaur! Should we get them?"

Jessie and Meowth: "A Bulbasaur?"

(Jessie and Meowth say, confused.)

(Then they begin laughing at it.)

Jessie: "Who needs a Bulbasaur?"

(Jessie mocks.)

(That really ticks Bulbasaur.)

Meowth: "What a wimps!"

(Meowth says, laughing.)

James: "You can keep that runt!

(James mocks.)

(Mew angrily shouts.)

Mew: "Stop making fun of my Bulbasaur! He's a lot stronger and powerful than you three could ever be!"

(Just then, Bulbasaur lets out a battle cry and the sun begins to rise.)

(Suddenly, Bulbasaur begins to absorb the sunlight, as Mew and he others watch.)

(Surprised, Tomo asks.)

Tomo' "What's that?

Mew: "That's Solar Beam. One of the strongest Grass Type Attack, and one of Bulbasaur's too! The light is collected and formed into a powerful beam with intensive force,"

(Mew answers.)

(Then calls out to her Bulbasaur.)

Mew: "Okay, Bulbasaur! Get ready for your Solar Beam Attack!"

(Bulbasaur then charges up his bud.)

(Seeing that it's enough, Mew shouts.)

Mew: "Okay Bulbasaur! Fire!"

(Bulbasaur then fires the Solar Beam with full force, breaking the machine.)

(Team Rocket is shocked, and the machine blows up, dropping the bag.)

(Bulbasaur then uses its Razor Leaf to break the nets, freeing the Ivysaur inside.)

Mew: "Smokin,"

(Mew says.)

(Soon, Team Rocket's balloon crashes to the ground.)

(and look to see the angry grass Pokemon, including Mew's Bulbasaur.)

James: "This looks bad!"

(James panics.)

Meowth: "Well, they're about to get worse!"

(Meowth says.)

(With Venusaur, Ivysaur, and Mew's Bulbasaur, use a combined Vine Whip attack to send Team Rocket blasting off.)

(Team Rocket screams.)

Team Rocket: "Team Rocket's blasting off again!"

(Team Rocket has been sent far away and not to be seen until next time.)

(Mew hugs her Bulbasaur and says.)

Mew: "Great job, Bulbasaur!"

Bulbasaur: "Bulbasaur," (Thank you, Mew)

(Bulbasaur says.)

Misty: "That was amazing!"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "You're the greatest!"

(Brock says.)

(Tomo happily says.)

Tomo: "You're awesome!

(Soon, they see Venusaur approaching the gang and stare down at Mew's Bulbasaur.)

(Mew is preparing to defend him.)

(Venusaur extends it's Vine Whip, but this time is more friendly.)

(Bulbasaur smiles and extends a wine whip, and accepts it.)

Misty: "I guess Venusaur finally understands,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "I think you're right,"

(Brock says.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu," (Well done, guys.)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee," (You said it.)

(Eevee says.)

(Later on, Mew and the others are allowed out of the area as the vine wall comes undone.)

(The others turn to see the garden is starting to disappear.)

Mew: "Hey! The Mysterious Garden,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "After the evolution festival, it must disappear!"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "Yeah. I sure am glad we were here to see it,"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "Goodbye, Venusaur and Ivysaur!"

(Mew says, waving goodbye.)

(All the Ivysaur and Venasaur begin to walk back to the garden, suddenly, they notice one Ivysaur is walking towards them.)

(Along with Combee.)

(Mew and her friends become confused as the two Pokemon approach them.)

(Combee happily flies to Misty and Ivysaur walks to Mew.)

Tomo: "Wonder what's all that about?"

(Tomo asks.)

(Misty asks.)

Misty: "Combee, why are you here?"

(Combee then snuggles Misty with glee then happily meets Togepi.)

(Ivysaur talks to Pikachu, Eevee, and Bulbasaur and they smile.)

(Then Ivysaur turns to Mew with a smile and talks to her.)

Brock: "It looks like Ivysaur wants to be with Mew and Combee wants to be with Misty,"

(Brock suspects.)

(Misty asks Combee.)

Misty: "Is that true?"

(Combee happily nods.)

Mew: "Really?"

(Mew asks Ivysaur.)

Ivysaur: "Ivysaur," (Sure do.)

(Ivysaur says.)

(Misty and Mew turn to each other.)

(They smile and nod their heads, and take out their Pokeballs.)

Mew: "Sure. You can come with us,"

(Mew happily says.)

Misty: "And we'll take good care of you,"

(Misty adds.)

(Both Pokemon are happy.)

(Ivysaur goes into Mew's Pokeball and Combee goes in Misty's.)

(Soon, both Pokemon are on Mew and Misty's team.)

(Mew turns to Misty.)

Mew: "You know Misty, I'm also proud of you."

Misty: "How so?"

(Misty asks.)

Mew: "Because you've been catching some Bug Pokemon and you haven't been scared. I think you're starting to get over your fear of Bug Pokemon,"

(Mew says.)

(Misty thinks and says.)

Misty: "I guess you're right. You have some Bug Pokemon too. However, there might be some I'm still scared of, but it's a start."

Brock: "Couldn't agree more,"

(Brock says.)

(With that, Mew and the others wave goodbye to the Ivysaur and Venusaur as they head back to the garden.)

(Even though it's not now, either he wants to or not, Bulbasaur will grow to be a great Pokemon.)

(Whether it does or does not want to evolve.)

(only Bulbasaur knows the answer.)

(and has Ivysaur and Combee by their side as well.)
