Pokemon Journeys (My Version)

(Mew and her friends are riding on the ship to head to their next destination.)

(Cinnabar Island It's where Mew will be challenging for her seventh badge.)

(The group are relaxing outside as they feel the wind in their hair and wait til they get to the island.)

Misty: "I can't wait till we get to Cinnabar, it's supposed to be beautiful,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "It's got an awesome volcano. Best of all, its Pokemon Research Laboratory is one of the best in the world. Trainers come from all over to learn the latest Pokemon techniques,"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "Yeah. Professor Oak said that's where we can get our fossils restored. And the Cinnabar Gym is where I'm going to get my seventh badge,"

(Mew says.)

(Tomo and the Pokemon look at the sea.)

(Suddenly, they hear Gary's voice.)

Gary: "Hey Mew, you're here too!"

(Mew and her friends turn their heads to see Gary Oak and are dressed for vacation.)

Mew: "Gary? You're going to Cinnabar Island?!"

(Mew asks, surprised.)

Gary: "That's right,"

(Gary says.)

(Mew asks.)

Mew: "Are you here for your next Gym Battle too?"

Gary: "Oh, so you didn't know. Pokemon trainers haven't gone to Cinnabar Island since you and my grandfather's days as a trainer!These people are all tourists. Cinnabar Island's a resort!"

(Gary says.)

Mew and Tomo: "A resort?"

(Mew and Tomo say, confused.)

(Then Gary says.)

Gary: "Actually, I've earned so many badges already, I'm taking a break to work on my tan."

(Mew giggles.)

Mew: "A tan huh?"

Mew: "From what I've heard, Cinnabar Island doesn't even have a Pokemon gym anymore,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "Really? That's too bad,"

(Misty says.)

(Sometime later, Mew and her friends arrived at Cinnabar Island.)

(To their surprise, Gary is right, the place looks more like a Resort.)

Mew: "Maybe Gary was right,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "This place is a tourist trap,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "Might as well look around,"

(Brock says.)

(The group then begins to look around the island.)

(and so far, all they mostly see are tourist attractions like stores.)

(souvenir shops, restaurants, and even resort hotels.)

(Brock looks around and says.)

Brock: "No sign of a Pokemon gym, but there sure are a lot of tourists around here. There're so many nice islands, I wonder why this one became so popular."

(Suddenly, someone stops in front of them.)

(It's a man with long brown hair, a brown mustache.)

(wearing sunglasses, a green beaded necklace, a red shirt, and black pants.)

(The man says.)

man: "The answer is a riddle. What do tourists think is hot and cool?"

Mew: "A riddle?"

(Mew says, confused.)

(Soon, group begins to think.)

(Then Misty says.)

Misty: "Hot springs are really hot, and.. And tourists think they're cool!

(The man says.)

man: That's right! You see, friends, because of the volcano, there are lots of hot springs here on Cinnabar Island. And every year, more and more tourists come to visit em. Now, they've even taken over Cinnabar Island. Trainers don't come anymore."

(Then dramatically says.)

man: "Tourists! They've ruined the island!

(Mew then asks.)

Mew: "Is the Pokemon gym still here? I want to battle and earn a Volcano Badge?"

Misty: "I heard that the gym leader was a guy named Blaine,"

(Misty says.)

man: "His gym, is right where you put your glasses,"

(The man says.)

(Then Mew says.)

Mew: "In front of your eyes?"

man: "You're right!"

(the man says.)

(Then points at the front.)

man: "Blaine's gym is right in front of your eyes!"

(The group looks at the front and becomes shocked.)

(The gym looks demolished.)

Pikachu and Eevee: "Pika?! Eev?!" (What in?!)

(Pikachu and Eevee say, shocked.)

Brock: "That's it?"

(Brock says, shocked.)

Misty: "It's a wreck,"

(Misty says,)

man: "Blaine got tired of battling tourists who cared more about postcards and T-shirts than about Pokemon. That's when he abandoned the gym,"

(The man says.)

Mew: "But I'm not a tourist on vacation. I've trained hard so that I can earn a Volcano Badge,"

(Mew says.)

man: "I'm afraid you came to the wrong place, my friends,"

(The man says.)

(Misty says.)

Misty: "Don't worry Mew, I'm sure we'll think of something,"

man: "Mew?"

(The man says, confused.)

(Then ask.)

man: "You wouldn't happen to be Mew from Pallet Town?"

Mew: "Yes. I am, But how did you know?"

(Mew says.)

man: "Let's just say I knew Professor Oak and said that you and your friends have Pokemon fossils,"

(The man says.)

(Tomo says.)

Tomo: "We do."

man: "There's a Pokemon Lab not far from here that has just the thing to restore your Pokemon,"

(The man says.)

(Then Mew a card.)

man: "Here's my card. If you need anything."

(Mew takes the card and reads.)

Mew: "The Big Riddle Inn."

Misty: "An inn? How can you run a hotel and then blame tourists for ruining the island? That doesn't make any sense to me,"

(Misty says.)

(But when the group looks ahead, they see that the man is gone.)

Mew: "He's gone!"

(Mew says.)

(Then Brock says.)

Brock: "I wonder how he disappeared like that."

Mew: "Well then, let's go to the Pokemon Lab and see if we can get our fossils restored. Then we'll find a place to stay the night,"

(Mew says.)

(With that, Mew and her friends head off to the lab.)

(unaware that Team Rocket is close by.)

Jessie: "Not one cookie sold. Our snack stand's a flop. Isn't that just our luck, James?"

(Jessie says.)

(James says.)

James: "I'll say it is, Jessie. And we're right near that lab and it's packed with powerful Pokemon."

Meowth: "Guess that's how the cookie crumbles,"

(Meowth says.)

(Mew and her friends soon arrived at the Pokemon Lab.)

(The group walks inside to see there are many different Pokemon training and scientists studying them.)

(A scientist walks over and says.)

Scientist: "Hello, what can I do for you?"

Mew: "Hello. My name is Mew and these are my friends, and we're here to have our fossils restored,"

(Mew says.)

Scientist: "Of course. I've already been notified of your arrival,"

(The scientist says.)

(Soon, the group comes across a large machine.)

Scientist: "This is my Resurrection Machine. With it, we can restore ancient fossils and the Pokemon will come back to life,"

(The scientist says.)

(Then asks.)

Scientist: "So, who will start?"

(Mew steps forward.)

Mew: "I'll go first."

(Then present her fossil to the scientist.)

(The scientist says.)

Scientist: "My, that is a nice looking Root fossil."

(The scientist then places the fossil in the machine.)

(Then activates the machine.)

(Everyone watches the machine do it's work.)

(Just then, the machine dings, and the door opens to reveal the restored Pokemon.)

(Mew's new Pokemon is a somewhat plant like Pokémon.)

(with eight dark-tipped, pink petal-like tentacles protruding from an opening on top of its head.)

(Inside the pitch-black opening are two glowing, yellow eyes.)

(Its head is purple with yellow eyespots resembling targets.)

(The head is connected to the body by means of a yellow stem.)

(The body itself is purple and semi-spherical, and has four stubby roots.)

Scientist: "And now you have a restored Lileep,"

(The scientist says.)

Mew: "Aww,"

(Mew says and brings out her Pokedex.)

(Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Lileep the Sea Lily Pokemon. A Rock and Grass Type. In ancient times, it lived in warm seas. It disguised itself as seaweed to ambush its prey and devoured them whole when they got close."

(Mew smiles at her Pokemon and says.)

Mew: "Hi Lileep, it's nice to meet you.

(Lileep looks at Mew and hugs her head with its tentacles.)

(Mew giggles in reply.)

(The others are very impressed.)

(Misty then brings out her Fossil.)

Misty: "I like to go next."

Scientist: "Okay. And my, that is a big Cover fossil you got,"

(The scientist says.)

(The scientist takes the fossil and puts it in the machine.)

(Sometime later, the machine opens and the Pokemon is restored.)

(It's a reptilian Pokémon resembling a baby leatherback sea turtle.)

(Its body is blue with black spots on the edges of its flippers.)

(Its black shell has six circular indentations in it.)

(It has a black upper beak and a mask that covers most of its head.)

(It has a light blue patch underneath its eyes.)

Scientist: "And now, you got a Tirtouga,"

(The scientist says.)

(Misty walks to her Pokemon.)

Misty: "Hello Tirtouga."

(The Pokemon crawls to Misty and even though it's rather shy.)

(It shows a small smile.)

(It also allows Misty to pet its shell.)

Mew: "So that's a Tirtouga,"

(Mew says.)

(Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Tirtouga, the Proto Turtle Pokemon. A Water and Rock Type. This Pokémon inhabited ancient seas. Although it can only crawl, it still comes up onto land in search of prey."

Brock: "I'll go next,"

(Brock says.)

(Sometime later, Brock has his fossil restored.)

(Brock's Pokemon is a small, yellow, ceratopsian-like reptilian Pokemon.)

(It has white toes and a white bump on its back.)

(Shieldon has a dark-gray elliptical face.)

(with a prominent white brow and a white rim on its black snout.)

Brock: "Wow. I got a Shieldon,"

(Brock says.)

(Sheidlon comes to Brock and jumps into his arms.)

(Mew uses her Pokdex and Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Shieldon, the Shield Pokemon. A Rock and Steel Type. It habitually polishes its face by rubbing it against tree trunks. It is weak to attack from behind."

Misty: "And finally it's Tomo's turn,"

(Misty says.)

Tomo: "Yeah,"

(Tomo happily says.)

(Tomo has given his fossil to the scientist and puts it in the machine.)

(Once it's done, Tomo's Pokemon is alive, and it's kind of bigger than Tomo.)

(It's a bipedal, dinosaurian Pokémon that resembles a large theropod.)

(Its body is grayish-brown with a small hump on its back, and its belly and lower jaw are a lighter gray.)

(The head is large in proportion to its body and has a blunt snout with a ridge above the nostrils.)

(Two teeth are visible in the lower jaw, while the upper jaw has two tooth-like spikes.)

(On top of its head are two orange spikes and it has a black around the lower edge of each eye.)

(Around its neck is a spiky ruff of white, primitive feathers.)

(It has tiny forelimbs with two white claws each.)

(The hind legs are more developed and have rectangular, armor.)

(plating over the knees, three white claws on each foot.)

(and a smaller, fourth digit lacking a claw off to the side.)

(Its tail is short with an orange spike near the tip.)

(The Pokemon comes to Tomo, picks him up with his teeth, and puts Tomo on it's back.)

(Tomo laughs with a smile.)

(Pikachu and Eevee climb on it's back as well.)

(Mew uses her Pokedex, and Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Tyrunt, the Royal Heir Pokemon. A Rock and Dragon Type. Its immense jaws have enough destructive force that it can chew up an automobile. It lived 100 million years ago."

Misty: "I have to admit, we sure end up with unique Pokemon. And many are so cute,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "I think Tyrunt really likes Tomo,"

(Mew says.)

(The group soon laughs with smiles on their faces.)

(Later in the evening, after having their Pokemon restored.)

(and having them placed in their Pokeballs, Mew and her friends are at a small park to relax a bit.)

Mew: "That was fun, huh guys,"

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "It is. We got new Pokemon,"

(Tomo says.)

Misty: "Yeah, but I'm getting kind of hungry,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Me too. We should find a place to stay for the night, but I feel the Pokemon center and the hotels are filled.

(Just then, Brock asks.)

Brock: "Hey Mew, what about that card that old guy gave you?"

Mew: "You're right,"

(Mew says.)

(Then takes it out.)

Mew: "Must be directions to his hotel.

(The group looks at the card and Brock notices something odd about it.)

Brock: "Huh? That's strange. If you look near the swing, you'll see my hands. Or at least my face."

Tomo: "Another riddle?"

(Tomo replies, confused.)

(Brock turns to his left.)

Brock: "There's a swing over there, but I don't see anybody's hands or face."

Misty: "You'll see my hands, or at least my face,"

(Misty says to herself.)

(Then Mew has an idea.)

Mew: "I've got it! He means a clock!"

Misty: "You're right, Mew. A lock is the right answer,"

(Misty says.)

(Then looks up.)

Misty: "And I see one there."

(The group looks up to see a clock in front and there's a building.)

(Misty says.)

Misty: "You can see the hands and face of a clock. That must be the Big Riddle Inn!"

(Soon enough, Mew and her friends arrive at the building and soon meet the man from before.)

(The man says.)

man: "Once again, Misty came up with the correct solution."

Misty: "That was an easy one,"

(Misty says.)

man: "As a prize, I'll give you all free rooms at the hotel,"

(The man says.)

Mew: "Oh thank you,"

(Mew says.)

(Suddenly, everyone's stomachs begin to growl.)

(The man suspects.)

man: "Well, guess you want dinner, too."

Mew: "Right,"

(Mew answers.)

(Meanwhile, at the Pokemon Research Lab, there are several Pokemon who are practicing fighting, work outs, swimming, etc.)

(However, outside of the lab, Team Rocket's hot air balloon is hovering over it, with them inside.)

(And once again, Team Rocket performs the motto.)

Jessie: To protect the world from devastation!

James: To unite all peoples within our nation!

Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love!

James: To extend our reach to the stars above!

(Meowth then lands on them, interrupting the motto.)

Meowth: "Blast off at light speed, prepare to fight, and all that other junk! Let's rob that Pokemon lab."

Jessie: "Bombs away!"

(Jessie commands.)

James: "Roger!"

(James replies.)

(With that, Team Rocket drops a bomb on the lab.)

(Back at the Big Riddle In, the phone begins to ring.)

man: "I'm coming! I'm coming!"

(The man says.)

(Then answers the phone.)

man: "Thank you for calling the Big Riddle Inn. Be our guest, and we'll keep you guessing."

(In the dining room close by, Mew and her friends are having dinner.)

(Tomo asks.)

Tomo: "Aren't you hungry, Misty?"

Misty: "I just wanna go to bed,"

(Misty says, tired.)

(Suddenly, they hear the man say.)

man: "That's awful!"

(Sensing trouble, Mew asks.)

Mew: "Is something wrong?"

man: "The Pokemon lab is being attacked by a balloon!"

(The man answers.)

(Mew and the others become shocked to hear what is happening.)

(and they have a feeling what balloon it is.)

(Back at the Pokemon Lab.)

(Team Rocket has captured the Pokemon in a net and lifting them up to the balloon.)

Jessie: "Just a heave and a ho!"

(Jessie says, and laughs.)

(Then James says.)

James: "And up all the Pokemon go!"

(James and Meowth begin laughing.)

Jessie: "This sure beats selling cookies!"

(Jessie comments, and laughs along with them.)

(Soon enough, Mew and her friends arrive at the scene.)

Mew: "I knew it, it's Team Rocket,"

(Mew says.)

man: "They're floating away!"

(The man says.)

Mew: "I'm about to burst their bubble!"

(Mew says.)

(Then throws her Pokeball.)

Mew: "Pidgeotto, Meowstic, go!

(Then Pidgeotto and Meowstic come out of his Pokeball.)

Mew: "Pikachu, Eevee and Pidgeotto go help save the Pokemon,"

(Mew says.)

Pikachu: "Pika!" (Gotcha!)

(Pikachu says.

Eevee: "Eevee!" (You got it!)

(Eevee says.)

(Pikachu and Eevee jump on Pidgeotto's back and they fly up to the balloon to rescue the Pokemon.)

(Team Rocket continues to pull up the Pokemon as they say.)

Team Rocket: "Heave and ho and away we go!

(However, they notice Pikachu and Eevee, riding on Pidgeotto.)

(Jessie worriedly says.)

Jessie: "Oh no!"

James: "It can't be!"

(James says, shocked.)

(Meowth panics.)

Meowth: "Yes it can!"

(Pikachu and Eevee then both perform Thunder Shock/Thunderbolt on Team Rocket.)

(making them drop the next with the Pokemon.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Meowstic, use Psychic to catch the Pokemon."

(Meowstic then uses her Psychic abilities to catch the Pokemon and gently place them on the ground.)

Mew: "Okay Eevee, now use Swift!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Eevee then performs Swift and attacks the balloon.)

(The Swift makes a hole in the balloon and Team Rocket is sent flying.)

(Team Rocket screams.)

Team Rocket: "Looks like we're blasting off again!"

(Once Team Rocket is gone.)

(the Pokemon happily celebrates.)

(The man watches as Pidgeotto descends to Mew and the Pokemon happily greets her.)

(The man walks over to Mew and says.)

man: "Thanks for saving the Pokemon, Mew. You all deserve a big reward, so I'll let you in on a little secret. Blaine built a gym that tourists never see.

(The group lights up in excitement to hear the news.)

Mew: "He did?"

(Mew asks, excited.)

(The man nods his head, and says.)

man: "It's in the place where firefighters can never win."

Tomo: "Another riddle? What kind of reward's that?"

(Tomo asks, confused.)

Mew: "Maybe if we answer the riddle, we'll know where the gym is,"

(Mew says.)

(Later on back at the Big Riddle Inn.)

(Mew and her friends are taking a bath in the Hot Springs where it's divided into two separate pools.)

(The boys are staying on one side.)

(and the girls stay on the Pokemon.)

(Tomo says.)

Tomo: "I can't figure it out."

Brock: "It's where a firefighter can never win,"

(Brock says, remembering the riddle.)

(Brock then asks.)

Brock: "Where could that be?"

Misty: "Where could a firefighter never win? Maybe someplace that doesn't have enough water,"

(Misty says, wondering about the riddle.)

Mew: "Then it must be a place that is very very hot,"

(Mew adds.)

Tomo: "What kind of place is that?"

(Tomo asks.)

Mew: "A place where a firefighter can never win. It has to be a place where there isn't enough water, and it must be very hot. The only place where I can think it's hot is…"

(Mew says.)

(Mew soon realizes.)

Mew: "A volcano!"

Everyone: "Huh?"

(The group says, confused.)

(Mew says.)

Mew: "Blaine's Pokemon Gym must be in a volcano."

Misty: "A volcano?!"

(Misty asks, surprised.)

Mew: "It's a place where firefighters can never win because it's boiling hot, and there isn't much water there. Plus, I read that the Cinnabar Gym is a Fire Type gym, so what better place for a Fire Type Gym Leader than a place where it's always hot,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "That sounds like a great answer, but how are we going to know for sure?"

(Brock wonders.)

(Misty soon notices someone is missing.)

Misty: "Togepi?"

(Mew points in a certain direction.)

Mew: "He's over there."

(Misty turns to see Togepi.)

Misty: "What are you doing, Togepi?"

(The girls look to see that Togepi is looking at the Gyarados fountain.)

(Misty walks to Togepi.)

Misty: "Togepi, move away! That water's boiling!"

(Yet, Togepi leaps onto the fountain and jumps on it excitedly.)

(Suddenly, the head moves down and a secret door appears in the base of the volcano, destroying the barrier wall of the hot springs.)

(However, the boys and girls see that with the barrier destroyed, they see each other, and they all let out screams.)

(After the little situation, Mew and her friends dry themselves.)

(put on their clothes, and walk down the secret passage.)

(Yet as they walk down the tunnel, they realize the place is getting warmer.)

(Misty says.)

Misty: "Phew. Is it just me, or does it seem to be getting hot down here?"

Brock: "Oh, it's getting hot alright,"

(Brock says.)

(Soon, the group reaches the bottom of the stairs to see a metal door.)

Tomo: "It's a door!"

(Tomo says, and about to reach it.)

(But Mew stops it.)

Mew: "Wait Tomo, the door might be hot."

(Right on cure, the door opens to reveal a battlefield that is suspended over the lava.)

(Mew and her friends are astonished to see it.)

Tomo: "Wow! A Battlefield in the Volcano!"

(Tomo says, amazed.)

Mew: "This must be Blaine's gym!"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "No firefighter could win in this place!"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "There's sure not enough water to put out a volcano,"

(Misty says.)

(Just then, the lights turn on and the man from before is revealed to be on the other side of the battlefield.)

???: "I guess you solve my riddle,"

(The man says.)

Pikachu: "Pika?" (That guy?)

(Pikachu says, confused.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eev?" (What's he doing here?)

(Eevee wonders.)

Mew: "What is he…"

(Mew about to speak, and realizes something,)

(Just then, the man says.)

???: "It's not a hat, but it keeps your head dry. If you wear it, it's only because you already lost it."

(Then Misty answers.)

Misty: "It's a wig! A wig isn't a hat, but it keeps your head dry in the rain. And the only reason you wear a wig is if you already lost your hair.

???: "And Misty's done it again!"

(The man says.)

Mew: "Good job, Misty, and I also figured something else out,"

(Mew says.)

???: "I believe you have figured out another answer,"

(The man says.)

(Mew turns to the man.)

Mew: "Yeah. It actually took me a while to figure it out, but now I understand… You're Blaine, the Cinnabar Gym Leader, aren't you?"

???: "You are correct, Mew,"

(The man says.)

(Then he removes the wig, mustache, and sunglasses.)

Blaine: "I am Blaine the Gym Master."

(Misty, Brock, Tomo, and the Pokemon become surprised.)

Blaine: "I wear a wig because I'm Blaine the Gym Master,"

(The man says.)

(The group kind of understands, but kind of doesn't.)

(Then Blaine asks.)

Blaine: "Now then, which one wants to battle me three on three?"

(Mew steps forward.)

Mew: "I will!"

Brock: "Careful, he must raise some awesome fire Pokemon in this volcano,"

(Brock.)

Misty: "Use your water Pokemon, Mew,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Don't worry, I know which Pokemon to use,"

(Mew says.)

(Blaine then calls out.)

Blaine: "Ready to begin?"

Mew: "Ready when you are!"

(Mew says.)

Blaine: "Fine! I've already selected my first Pokemon! Ninetales, go!"

(Blaine says, and throws his first Pokeball to reveal Ninetales.)

(Mew brings out her Pokedex and Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Ninetales, the Fox Pokemon, and the evolved form of Vulpix. A Fire Type. Some legends claim that each of its nine tails has its own unique type of special mystic power."

Mew: "Alright then, I better be careful, even if Water is strong against fire, I better keep on my toes,"

(Mew says.)

(She then throws her Pokeball.)

Mew: "Poliwhirl, I choose you!"

Blaine: "A water type, how predictable,"

(Blaine says.)

(Then calls out.)

Blaine: "Go, Ninetales, Fire Spin, now!"

Brock: "Fire Spin is Ninetales' most powerful attack!"

(Brock says.)

(Ninetales then launches the attack.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Poliwhirl, use Hydro Pump!"

(Poliwhirl then performs the attack and both attacks collide with each other.)

(The water quickly turns to steam, but the water of the Hydro Pump continues to flow.)

(Soon the Hydro Pump is able to counter Ninetales Fire Spin attack.)

(Then the Hydro Pump strikes at Ninetales with full force and Ninetales is knocked out.)

Misty: "Alright, Mew got it,"

(Misty says.)

(Blaine then calls back Ninetales.)

Blaine: "Return Ninetales."

(Then turns to Mew.)

Blaine: "That's one tough Poliwhirl you got."

Mew: "Thanks,"

(Mew says.)

Poliwhirl: "Poliwhirl!" (Alright!)

(Poliwhirl happily says.)

(Mew then calls back Poliwhirl.)

Mew: "Return Poliwhirl."

(Then it goes back to his Pokeball.)

(Then Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Gyarados, Go!"

(Gyarados then comes out of his Pokeball.)

Blaine: "So you've chosen a Gyarados,"

(Blaine says.)

(Then calls out.)

Blaine: "Rhydon, go!"

(With that, Rhydon comes out of the Pokeball.)

(It's a large, gray, bipedal Pokémon with features similar to both dinosaurs and rhinoceroses.)

(It has narrow, red eyes and two fangs in its upper jaw, a snout is a cream-colored horn, which is smaller on a female than a male.)

(There are several other spikes and projections on its head.)

(on top is a spike that curves forward, two triangular points resembling ears on the sides, a wide.)

(wavy crest under each ear, and spiky ridges on each cheek.)

(It has a cream-colored abdomen divided into strips by thin divots.)

Mew: "Rhydon huh,"

(Mew says.)

(She takes out her Pokedex and Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Rhydon, the Drill Pokemon and the evolved form of Rhyhorn. A Ground and Rock Type. Its brain developed when it began walking on its hind legs. Its armor-like hide even repels molten lava.

(Blaine calls out.)

Blaine: "Rhydon, Fury attack!"

(Rhydon begins to charge for the attack.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Gyarados, use Protect!"

(Gyarados then performs the attack, and is able to escape the Furry Attack.)

Blaine: "Hey, pretty impressive!"

(Blaine says, impressed.)

(Then calls out.)

Blaine: "Rhydon, use Hammer Arm!"

(With that, Rhydon begins to perform Hammer Arm and heads to strike at Gyarados.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Gyarados, use Aqua Tails!"

(Gyarados then is able to perform Aqua Tail just as Rhydon performs its attack.)

(The two attacks collide with one another and the both struggle to keep it up.)

(Finally, Gyarados is able to counter Hammer Arm and sends it back.)

Mew: "Now Gyarados, Whirlpool!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Gyarados then performs Whirlpool and strikes at Rhydon with full forms.)

(Soon, Rhydon lands on the ground and has been defeated.)

(Blaine then calls back Rhydon.)

Blaine: "Rhydon, return!"

(Then calls it back.)

Blaine: "I'll have to choose another Pokemon."

Mew: "Okay, Gyarados, return,"

(Mew says, and calls back her Pokeball.)

(Then brings out her other Pokeball.)

Mew: "Now to make this interesting. Time to fight fire with fire. Go Charizard!"

(Mew then calls out Charizard, and Charizard then lets out a roar.)

Mew: "Okay Charizard, ready to battle?"

(Mew asks.)

(Charizard nods his head in reply.)

(Just then, Blaine says.)

Blaine: "This Pokemon is too hot to handle! And it has a power that should interest you, because it turns all its opponents into ash!"

Tomo: "Is it a little too hot to be solving riddles?"

(Tomo asks.)

(Blaine calls out.)

Blaine: "I choose, Magmar!"

(Just then, the lava begins to rise, shocking everyone.)

Mew: "Magmar?"

(Mew says, surprised.)

(The lava soon falls back to reveal the Magmar that is revealed.)

Mew: "Wow! That Magmar is pretty big,"

(Mew says.)

(She brings out her Pokedex and Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Magmar, the Spitfire Pokemon. A Fire Type. Its body is like a furnace, making Magmar a living inferno. It has been discovered only near active volcanoes."

(Mew looks up to notice Charizard has the fire in his eyes.)

(Magmar also has the same fire in its eyes as well.)

Tomo: "What's up with Charizard?"

(Tomo asks.)

Brock: "I think Charizard can tell Magmar is strong. I say Charizard is more than eager to battle,"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "Yeah. Look at the fire in his eyes,"

(Misty says.)

(Charizard and Magmar look at each other and show the determined fire in their eyes.)

(One thing for sure, this is going to be one fired up Pokemon Match.)
