Pokemon Journeys (My Version)

(One day in Pallet Town.)

(Mew and her friends decide to visit Professor Oak for some last minute advice since today.)

(they're going to head to the Indigo Plateau for the Pokemon League competition.)

Mew: "So you see Professor I do like to know what I need to do now?"

(Mew asks.)

Professor Oak: "Well Mew, you have trained as hard as you can, despite some drawbacks.

Brock: "She's right. We have done some training and even planned a few training as well, but we always seem to get sidetracked a whole lot more."

(Brock says.)

Tomo: "Mainly because of Team Rocket,"

(Tomo says.)

Mew: "Agreed,"

(Mew says.)

(Professor Oak says.)

Professor Oak: "Well to be honest, I don't have any pointers to give you. In fact, I think you trained hard for the Pokemon League despite the drawbacks, but I can sense that you're still a little nervous.

Mew: "Yeah. I am excited about competing in the Pokemon League, but to be honest, I'm also really nervous."

(Mew says.)

Professor Oak: "Don't be nervous, I'm sure you'll do the best you can in the Pokemon League. Now if you want to compete, I suggest you should get going. It's going to start really soon."

(Professor Oak says, right.)

(So then after gathering their backpacks along with having some of their supplies and other needs.)

(Mew and her friends say goodbye to their friends.)

(and Mew's father and friends, and begin to make their way to the Indigo Plateau..)

(Sometime later, Mew and her friends are making their way.)

(to the Indigo Plateau where the Pokemon League will take place.)

(Their trip has taken them to a tall grass area.)

(Holding her Pokenav, Mew says.)

Mew: "Seems like this place is a shortcut to the Indigo Plateau."

Misty: "Seems kind of hard to walk on to me,"

(Misty says.)

Tomo: "I wonder how long it will take for us to get there?"

(Tomo says.)

Mew: "It might take a while, but I'm sure we'll be there in no time,"

(Mew says.)

(Suddenly, something dashes by Mew and her friends in the tall grass.)

(making the group come to a halt.)

Mew: "What was that?"

(Mew wonders.)

(Just then, a figure leaps out of the tall grass and into the air.)

(Then lands in front of them.)

(A short distance away, someone is standing in a battle position.)

Mew: "Who's he?"

(Mew asks.)

Tomo: "No idea,"

(Tomo relies.)

(There, they see a young man a few years older than Mew.)

(He is wearing a green kimono with black kimono pants, and Japanese sandals.)

(He also has long black spiky hair in a ponytail.)

(He is also holding a sword.)

(Misty calls out.)

Misty: "What are you scaring us for?"

???: "Forgive me, I was simply testing you. You appear to be traveling to the Pokémon League competition. Am I correct in saying so?"

(The mysterious boy questions, putting the sword away.)

Mew: "And what if we are?"

(Mew questions.)

Otoshi: "Well, then. I, Otoshi, challenge you,"

(The boy, Otoshi says, holding his sword.)

(Mew and her friends are confused.)

(Even Pikachu and Eevee are confused.)

Pikachu and Eevee: "Pika? Eev?" (Challenge?)

Otoshi: "I've trained for a long time all alone here in the mountains. But I seek one last battle to test my strength before the Pokémon League. Do you accept my challenge?"

(Otoshi says.)

(Mew thinks a bit and says.)

Mew: "Sure, I'll battle you."

Otoshi: "And whoever loses this battle must turn over all his Pokémon badges to the one who triumphs."

(Otoshi says.)

Mew: "All my badges?!"

(Mew exclaims in shock.)

(Then denies.)

Mew: "You must be crazy! I've trained hard to earn these badges! They're very important to me! Plus, I need them to compete in the Pokemon League!"

Misty: "That's right! If Mew lost her badges, she wouldn't be able to compete in the Pokémon League!"

(Misty says.)

(Then Mew turns to her friends.)

Mew: "Come on, guys, we gotta go."

(Then with that, Mew and her friends begin to leave without another word.)

(Just then, Otoshi says.)

Otoshi: "If that is your attitude, you need not hurry to the Pokémon League."

Mew: "Maybe so, but I'm not battling you,"

(Mew says.)

(Then Otoshi says.)

Otoshi: "If you are so afraid of losing to me in a private match, then what chance do you or your friend have in a Pokémon League match? Lose your badges now, or lose them later."

Mew: "Forget it! I'm not listening to a word you say! Goodbye!"

(Mew says, and walks off with her friends.)

(Otoshi then leaps in front of Mew and demands.)

Otoshi: "I suggest you have a battle with me, or I will not let you pass."

(Mew can see how serious Otoshi is and it seems that he's serious about it.)

(Mew groans and says.)

Mew: "Fine! I'll battle you, but win or lose, I refuse to give you my badges and I refuse to take yours either."

Otoshi: "We'll see about that,"

(Otoshi says.)

(With that, Mew and her friends are now in an open field with Otoshi.)

(Like it or not, Mew has to battle him to get past him.)

(Just then, Otoshi throws his Pokeball and calls out.)

Otoshi: "I choose Marowak!"

(Mew then calls out.)

Mew: "Alright Eevee, let's go!"

(Eevee then jumps into the battlefield.)

(Otoshi's Pokemon is a bipedal Pokémon with light brown skin and a cream-colored underside.)

(Two small claws, one on each hand, serve as its thumbs, and one large nail on each foot make up its toes.)

(It has a short tail with a small spike near the tip.)

(It's head is composed of the skull it once wore as a mask.)

(It can no longer remove the skull, which has become part of its body.)

(The skull has two pointed spikes on the back similar to ears and tiny nostrils on the tip of the snout.)

(It's triangular, brown eyes are also located in the skull.)

(It's also holding a bone club.)

(Mew brings out her Pokedex, and Dexter says.)

Dexter "Marowak, the Bone Keeper Pokémon and the evolved form of Cubone. A Ground Type. Despite its small size, its offensive and defensive strength is impressive."

(Brock calls out.)

Brock: "Better watch out, Mew. Marowak is bad to the bone."

Mew: "Got it,"

(Mew says.)

(Then turns to Eevee.)

Mew: "Okay Eevee, let's make this count, and watch out for Marowak's Bone Club.

Eevee: "Eevee!" (Gotcha!)

(Eevee says.)

(Then Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Eevee use Tackle."

(Eevee then charges, but Marowak dodges the attack.)

(Then Otoshi calls out.)

Otoshi: "Marowak, Focus Energy attack!"

(Marowak then uses Focus Blast.)

(Then Otoshi calls out.)

Otoshi: "Bone Club now!"

(Marowak then charges towards Eevee.)

(Mew quickly calls out.)

Mew: "Quick Eevee, use Protect!"

(Eevee quickly uses its Protect attack and Marowak is repelled by the barrier.)

(Soon, the barrier goes away.)

(Soon, Marowak charges for another attack.)

Mew: "Eevee, dodge!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Eevee quickly dodges Marowak's Bone Club attacks.)

(Try as it might, Marowak is unable to keep up with Eevee.)

(Eevee is proven to be too fast for it.)

(Mew then calls out.)

Mew: "Now Eevee, use Iron Tail!"

(With that, Eevee smacks Marowak with the Iron Tail and practically knocks out Marowak.)

(Otoshi is in shock.)

Otoshi: "Marowak!"

(Tomo cheers.)

Tomo: "Mew won!"

(Mew kneels down and pets Eevee.)

Mew: "Good job, Eevee!"

Eevee: "Eevee," (Thank you, Mew.)

(Eevee says.)

(Mew steps forward.)

Mew: "Well then, since I won, I suggest that we just keep our own badges. If you want to battle some more, I'll see you at the Pokemon League.

(But Otoshi says in dismay.)

Otoshi: "I can't believe it. You defeated Marowak, my strongest Pokémon. Sadly though, I'm afraid that I am unable to compete in the Pokemon League."

(Hearing that makes the heroes confused.)

Misty: "You mean, you didn't have any badges to start with?"

(Misty asks.)

Tomo: "So then, why did you challenge Mew when you didn't to begin with?"

(Tomo asks.)

Otoshi: "Well, you see…"

(Otoshi says, practically in tears.)

(Concern, Mew asks.)

Mew: "Did something happen to your badges?"

(Otoshi nods his head in tears and says.)

Otoshi: "Yes. Please, let me explain. My eight badges have been taken from me. I battled my way from one gym to the next with Marowak at my side. It was a difficult journey. We struggled and battled and never lost hope. We finally won eight badges, we were on our way to the Pokémon League.

Tomo: "So, where are they now?"

(Tomo asks.)

Otoshi: "Marowak and I had just earned our eighth badge, and were coming out of the mountains heading toward the Indigo Plateau, when it happened,"

(Otoshi explains.)

[Flashback...]

(Otoshi and Marowak are making their way to the Indigo Plateau to compete for the Pokemon League.)

(Holding the bag that has his badges, Otoshi happily says.)

Otoshi: "All our hard work and training finally paid off, didn't they, Marowak?"

Marowak: "Maro," (Agree.)

(Marowak says.)

(Suddenly, the two suddenly stop.)

(Otoshi explains.)

Otoshi: "In the road just ahead was the most delicious looking fruit. We were so hungry from our battles, we rushed to taste it."

(Seeing the fruit and how hungry they are, they rush over to get it.)

(Suddenly, they fall down into a pit hole and the bag of Otoshi's badges fly off of his hands.)

(Rushing to the scene is Team Rocket and Jessie catches the pouch with the badges.)

Meowth: "We caught somethin'!"

(Meowth says.)

(Jessie pours the badges out of the bag and into the box.)

Meowth: "Hey, look! Badges!"

(Meowth says.)

(When Otoshi comes through, he can see the three robbers.)

Meowth: "Exit, stage left!"

(Meowth says.)

(Then Team Rocket runs off.)

(Soon, Otoshi and Marowak realize that they've been robbed.)

Otoshi: "All our hard earned badges are gone!"

(Otoshi says.)

[Flashback Ends...]

(In tears, Otoshi says.)

Otoshi: "All our struggles and sacrifices were for nothing. And we were so close to being in the Pokémon League."

Marowak: "Marowak," (So close.)

(Marowak says, depressed.)

(This really shocked Mew and her friends.)

Misty: "I wonder who could've done such a terrible thing,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "They stole your badges and your dream,"

(Brock says.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu?" (Who was it?)

(Pikachu asks.)

Otoshi: "Our dreams stolen by a talking Meowth,"

(Otoshi says in tears.)

Eevee: "Eevee?" (Meowth?!)

(Eevee says, shocked.)

Tomo: "A talking Meowth?"

(Tomo adds.)

(Then Mew asks.)

Mew: "Were there two humans with that talking Meowth, a man with short purple hair and a woman with long?"

Otoshi: "Yes. They are,"

(Otoshi says.)

Misty: "It must've been Team Rocket!"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "We should've known,"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "Those crooks,"

(Mew says.)

Otoshi: "Without those badges, I'll never get into the Pokémon League!"

(Otoshi says, upset.)

Mew: "Oh yes you will, because we're going to help you find Team Rocket and get your badges back,"

(Mew says.)

Otoshi: "You will?"

(Otoshi asks.)

(Mew smiles and says.)

Mew: "Don't you worry, Otoshi, we'll get those badges back for you!"

(But Misty says.)

Misty: "But we can't, guys! We'll miss the start of the competition."

Brock: "We have to get going!"

(Brock agrees.)

Mew: "But guys, we can't leave Otoshi like this,"

(Mew says.)

(Then presents her own badges.)

Mew: "I remember how hard I have to work to earn mine. If I was in Otoshi's place I would be devastated. The badges I've got proved how hard me and my Pokemon work and how strong we've become. Plus, to me, my badges are memories. They remind me of everything we did, and all the friends we've made."

(Brock says.)

Brock: "You're right."

Mew: "Stealing from one trainer is like stealing from them all!"

(Mew says.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu!" (You said it!)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee!" (Team Rocket won't get away with this!)

(Eevee says.)

(Mew extends her hand and says.)

Mew: "Let's get those badges back!"

Otoshi: "I will never forget your kindness."

(Otoshi says, taking Mew's hand and being touched by her action statement to help him.)

(Somewhere in the woods.)

(James and Meowth are laughing with grins on their faces.)

Meowth: "Oh, that was too easy! Could you believe those suckers really fell for the fruit?!"

(Meowth says, laughing.)

James: "And getting those gym badges was easier than slipping on a banana peel!"

(James adds with laughter.)

Meowth: "If I had known grabbing badges was this easy, I would've just camped out here and ambushed trainers instead of running around to all those gyms,"

(Meowth says.)

(James kneels to Meowth and says.)

James: "Meowth, let's take another peek at all those beautiful badges."

Meowth: "Excellent idea, my dear James!"

(Meowth says.)

(Meowth gets in the balloon and begins digging around for the box containing the badges.)

(Meowth climbs out and panics.)

Meowth: "The badges are gone!"

James: "They are?"

(James says, confused.)

Meowth: "I can't believe it. Jessie an' I hid dem,"

(Meowth says, devastated.)

(Then notices she is missing.)

Meowth: "Hey! Where is Jessie, anyhow?"

James: "I think she says she had a little shopping to do in town. And then she ran off carrying a big, square package wrapped in a big, green handkerchief,"

(James says.)

(Soon, Meowth puts the pieces together.)

Meowth: "She stole 'em! Jessie stole our stolen badges!"

James: "Jessie?!"

(James exclaims in shock.)

(Soon enough, Meowth assumption is proven right.)

(Jessie is carrying a big green handkerchief on her back that contains Otoshi's badges.)

(Jessie says in pride.)

Jessie: "Ha! I finally got my very own set of badges! Now I can enter the Pokémon League competition and prove I'm the world's most talented, most glamorous trainer!"

(Soon fantasizes herself into Pokemon League.)

(Jessie says in pride.)

Jessie: "There I'll stand. Alone in the spotlight, with thousands of adoring fans cheering me on. My victory will be a giant step up on the stairway to stardom!"

(Soon her fantasy ended.)

Jessie: "No more sharing the stage with those silly, sniffling, sniveling stooges! From now on, I'll be a solo superstar!"

(Jessie declares and maniacally laughs.)

(Back to Mew and her friends.)

(Mew has sent some of her flying Pokemon out to find Team Rocket to get Otoshi's badges back.)

(Soon, Aerodactyl, Pidgeotto, Beautifly, and Beedrill are searching around.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Pidgeotto! You and the others see anything?!"

Misty: "It sounds like they spotted something, guys,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Yeah, let's go see,"

(Mew says.)

(With that, the group hurry over to see what the Pokemon have found.)

(Meanwhile, James and Meowth are raising the balloon.)

Meowth: "We gotta find those badges,"

(Meowth says.)

(Suddenly, Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Hold it right there! You robbers!"

(Meowth and James look down.)

(to see Mew and her friends have arrived on the scene and are chasing after them.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Hurry guys, don't let them get away!"

(With that, the flying Pokemon quickly chase after them.)

Meowth: "Uh oh,"

(Meowth yelps.)

(With that, Pidgeotto uses its sharp beak to pop Team Rocket's balloon, and it crashes to the ground.)

(Meowth weakly climbs out the basket.)

Meowth: "Shot down again!"

James: "They burst our bubble,"

(James says.)

(Soon, they find Mew and her friends have surrounded them.)

(Otoshi demands.)

Otoshi: "Return the badges you stole from me."

Marowak: "Marowak!" (Right now!)

(Marowak demands.)

(But James says.)

James: "We can't do that."

Meowth: "You ain't the only victim around here, pal,"

(Meowth says.)

Otoshi: "What are you saying?"

(Otoshi questions, and brings out his wooden sword.)

(James and Meowth hug each other in fear.)

James: "We were robbed, too! We don't have the badges,"

(James answers.)

Meowth: "He's being honest, for once,"

(Meowth says.)

(Misty smirks and says.)

Misty: "Well, we'll just see if that's true."

James and Meowth: "What are you gonna do?"

(James and Meowth ask, frightened.)

(Soon, James and Meowth have to lay out their belongings on a separate blanket.)

Misty: "Are you sure this is everything you've got?"

(Misty demands.)

James and Meowth: "Yes,"

(James and Meowth confirm with a nod.)

(Mew looks at Meowth's items.)

Mew: "Let's see. A couple of cookies, a slingshot, some cans of Pokémon Chow, a hairbrush, a cattail…"

(Then Tomo notices.)

Tomo; "Hey! What's this wax for?"

Meowth: "I like to keep my charm nice and shiny,"

(Meowth answers.)

Mew: "I don't see the badges on Meowth's side,"

(Mew says.)

(Then Brock looks at James' belongings.)

Brock: "Well, I see binoculars, a notepad, some makeup, broken sunglasses, and.. photos of yourself?"

James: "Well, you see, I like to look at myself in my spare time,"

(James says, embarrassed.)

Otoshi: "Ever tried a mirror?"

(Then Tomo looks at the other stuff.)

Tomo: "A bunch of bottle caps, some pogs, some tabs from soda cans."

Misty: "No badges here either,"

(Misty says.)

(Then Brock says.)

Brock: "This is just a pile of junk!"

James: "Yes, but it's got sentimental value!"

(James cries out and hugs his stuff.")

Togepi: "Toge toge toge," (Value value value)

(Togepi happily says, jumping up and down.)

Pichu: "Pichu Pichu?" (Strange stuff to have)

(Pichu replies.)

Mew: "Looks like the badges are gone,"

(Mew says.)

Meowth: "We already told ya that. Jessie took all of the badges,"

(Meowth says.)

Tomo: "Jessie?!"

(Tomo says, shocked.)

Mew: "That would explain she isn't here. Now we gotta find her to find those badges,"

(Mew says.)

(Soon Marowak begins to swing his bone around in anger.)

(Otoshi notices it and asks.)

Otoshi: "What's wrong, Marowak?"

Misty: "He looks upset,"

(Misty says.)

(Marowak continues to angrily swat his bone as he expresses his anger.)

(Meowth and Mew walk over.)

Meowth: "Oh, I see,"

(Meowth says.)

(Then Mew asks.)

Mew: "And you're very serious about this, Marowak?"

Otoshi: "Huh?"

(Otoshi says, confused.)

(Then Meowth explains.)

Meowth: "I got some bad news for ya, kid. Da little bonehead here says it doesn't want ta be your Pokémon no more."

(This shocked Otoshi.)

Otoshi: "What?! Is this true, Marowak?"

(Soon, Marowak begins to express his anger towards Otoshi.)

(Then Meowth translates.)

Meowth: "Skull boy says dat it was willing ta put up wit all de hard training, an' tough battles, 'cause it was dreamin' of being in da Pokémon League competition. Now, just a couple a days before da competition, dis happens. An' all dat hard woik an' sufferin' was fer nuttin'. Marowak says it's best if ya two just, say goodbye."

(Then Marowak begins to walk away.)

Otoshi: "Don't go, Marowak,"

(Otoshi cries out and touches Marowak's shoulder.)

(But Marowak bats him away with his bone, much to his shock, and continues to walk away.)

(Otoshi calls out.)

Otoshi: "Wait!"

(But Marowak continues walking away.)

Otoshi: "And we were so close to going to the Pokémon League,"

(Otoshi says, devastated.)

Meowth: "You still might be able to buy a ticket."

(Meowth says.)

(But Otoshi grabs Meowth in anger and shakes him rapidly.)

Otoshi: "This is all because of you!"

Mew: "Marowak's only gonna come back if we find Jessie and get those badges,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "You're right,"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "Let's do it!"

(Misty says.)

Tomo: "Yeah. Let's go find her,"

(Tomo says.)

(With that, Mew and the others, including Otoshi begin their search for Jessie.)

(Meanwhile, Meowth and James are airborne on their hot air balloon once more and this time it has a patch.)

Meowth: "We gotta find Jessie and those badges before those kids do,"

(Meowth says.)

(Meanwhile, far ahead, Jessie is disguised as an Arabian attire and with most of her face covered by a cloth.)

(Jessie chuckles and says.)

Jessie: "Even James and Meowth will never recognize me in this disguise."

(Soon, Jessie notices another trainer who has his eight badges in a box.)

(The trainer looks inside and is excited.)

trainer: "Wow. I finally have enough badges to get into the Pokemon League."

(Jessie walks over to the boy and says.)

Jessie: "Hello there, fellow trainer. Well, look at all the badges you have."

(Then opens the box presenting him the stolen badges.)

Jessie: "Take a peek at my collection."

(The trainer looks and says.)

trainer: "Hey, you must have worked pretty hard to get all those."

(Of course, Jessie has stolen them.)

(Jessie chuckles and says.)

Jessie: "Not as hard as you might think."

trainer: "Here, take a look at mine,"

(The trainer says, and shows Jessie his eight badges.)

(Jessie looks to see the badges and says.)

Jessie: "Oh my. How, pretty."

The trainer: "I battled hard to win as many as I could,"

(The trainer says.)

(Then Jessie says.)

Jessie: "Well, one can never have too many badges, can one?"

(Meanwhile, James and Meowth are in the balloon and see Jessie with the other trainer.)

(Meowth asks.)

Meowth: "Are you sure dat's Jessie down there?"

James: "I'm positive,"

(James says, and remembers all the disguises they used.)

(Then James says.)

James: "Jessie and I have worn lots of disguises and we share a certain sense of style. Even under all those veils, I recognize that fashion flare anywhere."

Meowth: "Yeah!"

(Meowth agrees.)

(The balloon lands close by as Jessie and the other trainer continue their conversation.)

male trainer: "Thanks. Your gym badges are pretty impressive, too,"

(The male trainer says.)

Jessie: "How nice of you to.."

(Jessie says.)

(But quickly calls out.)

Jessie: "Oh my goodness! Look over there!"

male trainer: "Where?"

(The trainer replies, looking away.)

(Jessie is about to reach her hand into the case and attempts to take the badges.)

(Suddenly, a smoke bomb rolls over the hill and to where the two are.)

(Then it explodes into smoke.)

(Jessie coughs and asks.)

Jessie: "What's going on here?"

(Soon, the Team Rocket motto makes light, but James is taking the lead.)

James: Prepare for trouble.

(Jessie recognizes the motto.)

Jessie: "Prepare for trouble?"

James: Yes, and make it double.

(Soon, Jessie begins to do the motto as well.)

Jessie: To protect the world from devastation.

James: To unite all peoples within our nation.

Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love.

James: To extend our reach to the stars above.

(Soon, the smoke clears away.)

Jessie: Jessie.

James: James.

Jessie: Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light.

(And removes her disguise.)

James: Surrender now, or prepare to fight.

(Soon, Meowth appears, holding the box with Otoshi's badges.)

Meowth: Meowth! That's right!

(Seeing the villains, the trainer panics.)

trainer: "It's Team Rocket!"

(And runs away.)

(Seeing the training fleeing, Jessie cries in dismay.)

Jessie: "I was so close to stealing all of that kid's badges, but you had to come and ruin everything!"

Meowth: "Well, you can steal from some kid, but not from us!"

(Meowth angrily says.)

(Then James say.)

James: "You have disgraced the disgraceful Team Rocket!"

(Soon, Jessie feels crushed by her actions and her failure.)

(Then says in devastation.

Jessie: "My moment in the spotlight is over."

Meowth: "We can steal more badges an' be rottener as a team than we can as individuals,"

(Meowth says.)

Jessie: "Alright. As long as I'm the rottenest,"

(Jessie says.)

(James and Meowth fall over in disbelief.)

(Soon, Mew's voice calls out.)

Mew: "Hold it right there!"

(Jessie soon notices Mew and the others, along with Otoshi.)

Misty: "You've got Otoshi's badges and you're gonna give them back to him right now!"

(Misty angrily says.)

(But Jessie says in remark.)

Jessie: "Ha! If you want them back, you'll have to challenge me to a Pokémon battle."

(Mew and her friends are about to battle, but Otoshi steps in.)

Otoshi: "Those badges are mine. I accept your challenge to battle."

Mew: "But you don't have Marowak,"

(Mew says.)

Otoshi: "I will use a different Pokémon for this battle."

(Otoshi says.)

(Then Jessie calls out.)

Jessie: "Alright, Arbok, go!"

(With that, Arbok comes out of its Pokeball.)

(Then Otoshi calls out.)

Otoshi: "Doduo, go!"

(Mew says, concerned.)

(Meanwhile, Marowak is walking through the forest deep in thought.)

(Until he comes across a group of trainers training their Pokemon.)

(One trainer is helping his Nidoran jump in the air.)

(One trainer calls out.)

trainer: "Okay, Nidoran, keep jumping!"

(A female trainer has the ball and calls out.)

female trainer: "Alright, Chansey, here you go!"

(Then throws the ball to Chansey.)

(Chansey then catches it.)

(Another trainer is holding a practice kick pad to help Hitmonlee with his kicks.)

Another trainer: "Come on, Hitmonlee, this is our last workout before the competition. We're gonna win the Pokémon League guarantee. Just you and me,"

(The trainer says.)

(Seeing all these trainers training their Pokemon, Marowak begins to remember his time with Otoshi.)

[Flashback 1...]

(Otoshi and Marowak are having their endurance training while sitting under a waterfall.)

Otoshi: "I know that training is hard, Marowak, but we can get through it together,"

(Otoshi says.)

Marowak: "Marowak," (Right.)

(Marowak says.)

[Flashback 2...]

(Then remembers himself jumping a ring of fire.)

Otoshi: "That's the spirit, Marowak! If you can do it, I can do it, too!"

(Otoshi says.)

(Otoshi says he tries to do the same, but ends up getting himself on fire.)

(Marowak does his best to help his trainer put it out the fire.)

[Flashback 3...]

(Soon, Marowak has his face covered in seeds and juice.)

Otoshi: "Marowak, you're getting the seeds all over your face,"

(Otoshi says with a smile.)

(But Otoshi has seeds and juice on his face too.)

(Remembering all the hard work, determination, and fun they have.)

(Marowak gets teary in his eyes.)

(Soon, Marowak realizes that he simply can't think of a life without his trainer.)

(And soon, he rushes through the forest to find Otoshi.)

(Back at the battlefield, Doduo is doing his best to battle Arbok, but is getting beaten.)

(Jessie calls out.)

Jessie: "Go, Arbok! Beat those birdbrains!"

(Arbok continues to attack Doduo.)

(Otoshi calls out.)

Otoshi: "Doduo, what's happening?!"

(Soon, the two heads of the Doduo are fighting against each other.)

(Otoshi panics.)

Otoshi: "Oh no! It's confused, and the two heads are fighting each other!"

Mew: "I don't think so. Once a Dodue's heads begin fighting each other, they become incapacitated."

(Soon, Arbok charges and coils around Doduo.)

Otoshi: "It's over!"

(Otoshi says, seeing the battle isn't good.)

(Jessie laughs.)

Jessie: "Looks like I win again. I'll just take your Doduo, too."

(Then throws her Pokeball.)

Jessie: "Pokeball, go!"

(But before the Pokeball can hit it's target.)

(a familiar bone club comes in and kicks the Pokeball away.)

(to the confused and surprised Team Rocket and heroes.)

(Soon, the bone travels and is caught by none other than Marowak.)

(Otoshi runs to Marowak with laughter and relief.)

Otoshi: "Marowak!"

(Soon, both trainer and Pokemon look at each other.)

(Misty happily says.)

Misty: "Hey, look guys! Marowak is back!"

Pikachu: "Pikachu," (Ready to go.)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (Alright!)

(Eevee happily says.)

Otoshi: "Alright, return, Doduo!"

(Otoshi says, calling back his Pokemon to his Pokeball.)

(Jessie then calls out.)

Jessie: "Alright, Arbok, go ahead and beat that little skele-twerp!"

(With that Arbok charges.)

(Otoshi calls out.)

Otoshi: "Marowak, Focus Energy!"

(Marowak focuses all his power for the next attack.)

(Jessie calls out.)

Jessie: "Arbok, Double Edge attack!"

(But Otoshi calls out.)

Otoshi: "Marowak, Bone Club!"

(Marowak knocks back Arbok with one strong attack.)

(Then Otoshi calls out.)

Otoshi: "Alright, Marowak, time for your boomerang attack!"

(Marowak then throws his bone like a boomerang.)

(knocking Arbok back upon impact.)

(Soon, Jessie is shocked to see Arbok knocked out.)

(James then makes the scene.)

James: "I'll handle this. Weezing, go!"

(Then Weezing comes out.)

(Mew says.)

Mew: "Not so fast! Pikachu! Eevee! Use Thunderbolt!"

(With that, Pikachu and Eevee both shock Team Rocket's Pokemon, forcing.)

(Team Rocket to retreat to their balloon.)

(Soon, they are beginning to take off with the badges.)

(Otoshi cries out.)

Otoshi: "The badges!"

(But Marowak then throws another boomerang at the balloon and it explodes.)

(sending Team Rocket flying.)

(Soon, the box with the badges drops from the balloon.)

(Luckily, Misty catches it.)

Misty: "Got em!"

(In the air, Team Rocket is still flying.)

(Jessie cries.)

Jessie: "My chances at stardom were stolen from me!"

James: "Please don't mention stealing!"

(James says, annoyed.)

(Then Meowth says.)

Meowth: "I should've grabbed a banana for the trip."

(With that, Team Rocket screams.)

Team Rocket: "Team Rocket's blasting off again!"

(Later, Otoshi walks to Marowak with a calm smile and says.)

Otoshi: "Marowak, thank you for returning and getting our badges back."

Marowak: "Marowak," (You're welcome.)

(Marowak says.)

(Otoshi asks.)

Otoshi: "Will you battle by my side in the Pokémon League?"

Marowak: "Marowak" (I'd be honored.)

(Marowak says.)

(Soon, the two rekindle their friendship.)

(Mew says.)

Mew: "I'm glad you two are back together."

Otoshi: "Thanks to you,"

(Otoshi says.)

(Misty then hands the box of his badges to Otoshi.)

Misty: "Here are your badges. Safe and sound."

(Otoshi takes the box.)

Otoshi: "I will be forever in your debt. Now our dream of competing in the Pokémon League will come true. Isn't that right, Marowak?"

Marowak: "Marowak," (That's right.)

(Marowak says.)

(Mew and the others smile.)

(Misty turns to Mew and says.)

Misty: "I'm sure happy we helped get those badges back.

Mew: "Yeah,"

(Mew says.)

(Brock then says to Mew.)

Brock: "You know something, Mew? Even if we are late for the start of the Pokémon League competition, you did the right thing by stopping and helping somebody who really needed help."

Mew: "Thanks, Brock. I hope we do the right thing at the Pokémon League, too,"

(Mew says.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu," (I do, too.)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee," (Me three.)

(Eevee says.)

(Soon, Mew and her friends parted ways from Otoshi and Marowak and continued their journey.)

(Later as the sun sets, Mew and her friends look yonder to see their destination.)

Brock: "Hey, look! There's the Indigo Plateau!"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "Let's go!"

(Mew happily says.)

(Mew and her Pokemon make a run to reach their destination and to the Pokemon League Championship.)
