Ivy had no idea what was going on with her body. Ever since reaching the cave, her body had been out of her control. It moved on its own, but her mind was wide awake. She could not speak and if she did speak, it was not her own words.

Now, her body was floating up into the air, and the screen in front of her eyes. Her souldex was flashing with a bunch of strange symbols and letters. A purple energy seemed to have entered her body. Her entire being had felt as if it was on fire before but now, she could feel a cooling sensation taking over.

She watched as her body floated toward the massive lock. Her hand slowly raised and was pressed against the cold metal. And then words she did not even know began to flow from her lips. "Arcais fasloim graforias!"

*Brrrrrrrrr!*

*Clink!* *Clink!* *Clink!* *Clink!* *Clink!* *Clink!*

*Boom!*

The massive chains all unlocked at the same time and fell to the floor with a loud, echoing bang. Ellee stood there as a cloud of debris blew past her body. She was in a complete daze as to what was going on. Everything made no sense. The girl she had almost eaten seemed to have unlocked some ancient door. The ominous feeling she had welling up inside her was getting stronger by the second.

As the dust began to settle, she saw Ivy still floating in the air. The purple energy that had surrounded her was starting to fade until… "Ivy!" Ivy's entire body went limp and fell toward the ground. Ellee was quick and caught her master just in time.

Ellee looked at the girl in her arms, who was very pale, her eyes barely able to stay open. But strangely enough, after everything she had been through she still forced a smile and whispered softly in a hoarse voice. "You have finally been calling me by my name…"

"Is that what you should be saying at a time like this!?" Ellee really did not know what to say. She had not realized it, but she really had been calling Ivy by her name. At some point, she had really accepted this master of hers. But she knew now she had no time to even care about such things as the massive door in front of her began to open, and a pressure she had never felt before that caused her instinctual fear to scream out in her mind to run and get as far as way as possible.

"Finally! After all these millions of years the seal has been cracked! Come! Come! Release me!" An ancient voice filled the air, causing Ellee to not even care about what was about to happen. She held Ivy tight to her chest and began running with everything she had.

Her only thought was to get as far away as possible. Get to a place where both she and Ivy could be safe. And so she ran. She passed the area that looked like a deep dark abyss, only to see that a bridge was visible from this side. She ran across it as the whole cave or ruins, whatever they had stumbled into, began to shake violently. Rocks began to fall from above, causing Ellee to need to dodge over and over again as she continued to try to make it to the exit.

Ivy was in a daze. She had no idea what was going on. But even with her eyes closed, her souldex seemed to be undergoing some strange changes.

[World Merger Initiating...]

[Demon Slayer Dimension will begin merging in 3 days, 17 hours, 6 minutes, 27 seconds. ]

[Pokemon Soul System Updating…]

[Time until completion…. 24hours, 59 minutes, 45 seconds… ]

"Out… What is that!?" Ellee suddenly yelled out. She was out of breath from running as fast as she could, but she had made it out of the cave only to see the sky seemed to have changed drastically. There was no sun. There was no moon. There were no stars. There was what looked like an entirely different world floating over them.

"Ellee… Let's go…" Ivy clenched Ellee's shirt. She wanted to tell her that something big was happening. She wanted to explain that she might be the cause of their world changing. But she could hardly catch her keep her eyes open or speak in her weakened state.

Ellee looked down at Ivy and took a deep breath. She knew they had to get as far away from here as possible. She already had an assumption that they had just caused something beyond their control to happen. She also felt responsible, since she was the one who brought Ivy here. If she had just not listened to Ivy and forced her to go to town instead, none of this would have happened, but now there was no turning back.

Ellee took another deep breath and began running down the mountain slope. She could see dark clouds off in the distance. Lightning was raining down from the sky. The ground was shaking underfoot, but she still held firm. Her only thought was to find a place to hide and rest. Ivy needed to rest.
