Diglett, this type of Pokémon, is definitely one of the best helpers on the farm.

This Dugtrio has the highest level; it is their leader.

Natsume said happily, "Then let's go together."

Ralts nodded, and then the Poké Balls on Natsume's body floated up.

Beams of red light shot out.

Natsume successfully obtained five Dugtrio and twenty Diglett.

He used up half of the Poké Balls he brought.

"Let's go."

With the Dugtrio group acquired, Natsume's party continued to head deeper underground.

Although it was daytime outside, the cave was already pitch black.

Natsume took out a flashlight and shone it around.

The underground cave was incredibly large.

Natsume also discovered a pair of huge footprints.

"I remember the news said that Tyranitar comes here."

"Did that Tyranitar live here before?"

Natsume curiously asked Ralts.

Ralts nodded.

But it was captured by a group of very bad humans.

Natsume curiously took out his flashlight and shone it ahead.

The light illuminated the rock wall above.

Looking at the scene above, Natsume almost dropped the flashlight.

The cave ceiling was densely packed with Zubat and Golbat.

They sensed the light from Natsume's flashlight.

And one by one, they woke up.

In an instant, Zubat filled the entire space in front of him.

"Oh no, I'm out of here!"

Natsume felt a chill run down his spine.

Ralts grabbed Natsume's hand and instantly vanished from the spot.

"Awooo?"

Arcanine was left behind.

What about me?

Flap~

A large group of Zubat suddenly rushed toward Arcanine.

"Ahhh~!"

Arcanine took a deep breath.

Boom!

A blazing flame instantly engulfed a large group of Zubat.

But their numbers were simply too many.

Amidst the flames, Zubat continued to charge toward Arcanine.

"Awooo."

Arcanine was panicking.

"Ralts~"

Ralts reappeared above Arcanine's head.

Zubat missed its target.

"Are you okay, Arcanine?"

Natsume sat on the ground, watching the newly reappeared Arcanine.

"Awooo~"

Arcanine shook its head.

Arcanine looked at Natsume and immediately puffed out its chest, acting as if it was ready to go back and take them down.

Natsume teased Arcanine, "Oh really? Should I have Ralts send you back?"

"Awooo"

Arcanine quickly backed away.

Natsume smiled, "Alright, I know you're strong."

Splashing sounds~

The sound of flowing water came from not far away.

Natsume shone his flashlight around and then took out a Poké Ball to release Aron.

"Aron~"

Aron looked around and then turned its gaze to Natsume.

Aron was a bit hungry.

Aron wanted to eat the iron pot on Natsume.

Natsume helplessly tapped on the steel of Aron.

Dong dong~

The sound was crisp.

"You can't eat the pot; it's the only one I have."

"When we get back to the farm, I'll buy you a few hundred pounds of iron blocks, how about that?"

Aron drooled.

Natsume chuckled at Aron's expression and then asked, "The super dangerous Pokémon you mentioned, is it nearby?"

Aron looked around and then ran forward.

"Aron~"

Aron signaled for Natsume to hurry and follow.

"Let's go."

Natsume and Arcanine followed Aron as they continued on.

Soon, Natsume came upon an underground river with rushing water.

"Aron~"

Aron pointed at the river.

"Where does this river lead?"

Natsume thought curiously and then took out his flashlight, shining it along the course of the underground river.

Ahead, there was a slope, and the underground river flowed downwards along it.

Below looked like a hollow.

Natsume shone the flashlight inside.

The hollow was deep, filled with broken rocks.

Natsume did not see any Pokémon inside.

"Dragonair."

Natsume took out Dragonair's Poké Ball.

"Dragonair~"

Dragonair floated above the underground river.

"Dragonair, go down and take a look, but be careful."

Dragonair nodded and then dove into the hollow beneath the underground river.

Meanwhile, in the underground river water,

Two pairs of sharp eyes suddenly opened.

They slowly moved their bodies and approached Dragonair.

"Ralts!"

Ralts sensed their aggressive emotions.

Ralts shared the vision it received with Natsume.

In Natsume's mind, the underwater scene appeared.

Two Kabutops were approaching Dragonair!

Kabutops truly was a rain killer.

Natsume, relying on Ralts's Inner Focus, observed their positions: "Dragonair, Aqua Tail!"

Underwater!

Ralts's voice rang in Dragonair's mind.

"Dragonair, Natsume said to use Aqua Tail."

Dragonair immediately swung its tail.

Water-type energy rapidly condensed at the tip of Dragonair's tail.

At that moment, Dragonair's tail looked as if it was connected to the entire river.

With a powerful swing, a huge wave surged around.

The entire underground river instantly began to boil.

Both Kabutops were swept by the Aqua Tail move.

"Kabutops!"

Kabutops quickly scattered, dodging backward.

Dragonair sensed their positions!

"Dragonair!"

Dragonair swiftly turned and charged toward one of the Kabutops.

Kabutops swung its two sickle-like claws.

"Kabutops!"

The sickles slashed toward the oncoming Dragonair.

"Dragonair~"

Dragonair took a deep breath.

Dragon Pulse!

Boom!

A violent explosion echoed underwater.

Above the river, a massive column of water erupted, splashing down like raindrops.

"Awooo!"

Arcanine anxiously paced above.

"Awooo!"

Arcanine ran back and forth at the edge of the underground river, looking eager to jump down and help.

"Calm down, Arcanine."

Natsume said to Arcanine, "You're a Fire-type Pokémon; don't jump in recklessly."

"Awooo!"

Arcanine looked very frustrated.

Under the water,

The other Kabutops was moving at high speed.

Its body moved quickly across the water's surface as it swung its sickle forward.

The sharp sickles sliced through the water!

"Dragonair~"

A Light Screen appeared behind Dragonair.

Bang!

Kabutops's two sickles struck the Light Screen fiercely.

The water rippled.

"Dragonair~"

Dragonair ignored it and wrapped up the first Kabutops's body, bursting through the water's surface.

"Dragonair~"

Dragonair threw this Kabutops toward Natsume.

Natsume immediately threw a Poké Ball at the Kabutops.

Shake~ Ding~!

Kabutops was captured.

"Ralts~"

Ralts suspended the Poké Ball in mid-air and then let it float toward Natsume.

Natsume reached out to catch it.

"Kabutops!"

From the water's surface, another Kabutops floated up.

Its gaze was locked on Natsume.

"Kabutops!"

Kabutops leaped from the water, swinging its sickle at Natsume.

"Serperior~"

At that moment, Serperior dashed out from Natsume's Poké Ball.

Vine Whip lashed out, instantly wrapping around Kabutops's body.

"Serperior~!"

Vine Whip swung Kabutops into the nearby wall.

"Kabutops!"

Using its sickle to prop itself up, Kabutops stood again and looked at Natsume.

"Come out, Kabutops."

The Kabutops that emerged from the Poké Ball ran toward its companion.

Kabutops seemed surprised that Natsume so easily let its companion go.

This left Kabutops momentarily at a loss.

Natsume said kindly, "I'm sorry to interrupt your lives."

"I'm here to find companions."

"Do you want to come with me?"

The two Kabutops looked at each other.

"Kabutops!"

Kabutops looked at Natsume and gave its answer.

"Kabutops."

Kabutops told Natsume that they had been swept to this area by a storm.

They originally lived near an island deep in the sea.

There, their kin lived.

The island also had Pokémon like Dragonair.

Kabutops wanted to go home.

After hearing Kabutops, Natsume was a bit surprised.

It was clear that Kabutops was not extinct in this world.

This Kabutops was level 40.

It could not have been a Pokémon that lived since ancient times.

Kabutops's words confirmed that those ancient Pokémon thought to be extinct indeed still lived somewhere in the world.

Additionally, it mentioned that there were Pokémon like Dragonair on the island.

Natsume speculated that these two Kabutops likely came from the Dragon Island in legends.

According to legends, Dragon Island is the homeland of Dragon-type Pokémon.

There, the seasons are always spring, and the seawater is warm.

There is no war, no disaster, no disease.

This legendary place is a treasure that many ocean navigators dream of finding.

Natsume pondered for a moment before looking at Kabutops and saying, "Your home is likely on Dragon Island."

"I can't guarantee that I can take you home."

"But I will try to find this place."

"Kabutops!"

After hearing Natsume, the two Kabutops huddled together.

They began to communicate quietly.

They were discussing whether to follow Natsume and leave this place.

"Dragonair~"

Dragonair watched them and flicked its tail.

"Kabutops!"

Kabutops quickly made a decision.

They were willing to follow Natsume to live on the farm.
