"I didn't expect that the hot springs here could cure all diseases. I'll have to soak in them for a while longer," Rosa said, clearly impressed by the hot springs' reputation.

"This is all thanks to you, Gary, otherwise we wouldn't be able to enjoy this relaxing hot spring!" Hilda said, looking at Gary with a grateful expression.

After Gary and his friends finished challenging the Lavaridge Gym, they wanted to visit the hot spring behind the Pokémon Center in Lavaridge Town. However, it was crowded. Not wanting to soak with so many people, Rosa and Hilda were disappointed.

But Gary, like a savior, invited them to a luxurious hot spring hotel in Lavaridge Town, known for its excellent service and private hot springs.

Although this hot spring hotel was expensive, money was not an issue for Gary, so he brought Rosa and Hilda there. Understanding Hilda's gratitude, Gary simply waved his hand, indicating it was no big deal.

After traveling with Gary for so long, Hilda quickly understood his gesture, smiled at him, and continued to enjoy the hot spring.

Of course, they didn't forget their Pokémon. Even Gary's Fire-type Pokémon couldn't resist the hot spring's allure and joined them.

Time always flies in the hot spring. In what felt like no time, an hour had passed. Although reluctant, they knew that soaking too long wasn't good. So, after an hour, Gary and the others got dressed and left the hot spring.

"It's so comfortable!" Rosa exclaimed, stretching as she walked out of the hot spring hotel. "It would be great if I could soak for longer."

"You can't soak in the hot spring for too long. We've been soaking for an hour, which is long enough. Rosa, just be content," Hilda said, rolling her eyes playfully.

"Hehe, I'm just saying," Rosa laughed.

"Okay, let's head back to the hotel," Gary suggested, watching their playful banter.

"Okay," Rosa agreed. Just then, a sudden noise in the air caught Gary's attention, causing him to stop and look up at the sky.

"What happened, Gary?" Hilda asked, noticing his unusual behavior.

"Are you like me, reluctant to leave the hot spring?" Rosa joked.

"That's you," Hilda replied, rolling her eyes again.

"What happened?" Hilda asked again.

"Yeah, what happened?" Rosa echoed, realizing something might be up.

"Hush, do you hear the sound of a helicopter?" Gary asked, pointing to the sky.

"A helicopter sound? How can we..." Rosa and Hilda began, but then they heard it too—a helicopter's noise reached their ears, making them look up.

A red helicopter appeared in the sky above Lavaridge Town, flying over it towards the back of the town.

"That is... Team Magma!" Gary recognized the helicopter immediately.

"What? Team Magma!" Rosa and Hilda exclaimed in disbelief.

Before they could process this, another helicopter flew over, following the same route as Team Magma's, but this one was blue.

"Could this also be Team Magma?" Rosa asked, looking at the blue helicopter.

"It shouldn't be. That one should be Team Aqua's helicopter," Gary explained.

"So it's Team Aqua!" Rosa understood immediately.

After their encounter with Team Magma, Gary had explained about Team Magma and Team Aqua to Rosa and Hilda, so they knew about these two evil organizations in the Hoenn region.

"What exactly do Team Magma and Team Aqua want to do? Why did they appear at the same time?" Hilda wondered.

"I don't know," Gary admitted. They were ahead of Ash and the others, so his knowledge from the past was no longer useful.

"Let's chase them and see. We'll find out. Anyway, Team Magma and Team Aqua won't be up to any good," Rosa suggested.

"Okay, let's go and see!" Gary agreed, having no reason to refuse.
