Chapter 8: Shattered Bliss
Aya trudged through the apartment door, exhaustion and fever overwhelming her. But her fatigue turned to alarm: the open door, absent security, and eerie silence.
A figure emerged from shadows. Selso's chiseled features, illuminated by moonlight, softened.
"Aya," he whispered, concern etched on his face.
Before she could react, Selso swept her into his arms, lips brushing hers gently. Feverish and weak, Aya melted into his embrace.
His kisses deepened, tender yet passionate. Soft whispers filled her ears: "I've missed you, mahal."
Selso's fingers danced across her skin, leaving shivers. His palms cradled her face, thumbs stroking her cheeks.
As their lips parted, Selso's gaze held hers. "I've longed for this," he whispered.
With gentle urgency, Selso lifted Aya into his arms, carrying her to the bedroom. Their lips reunited, hearts pounding.
In the silence, their love became one. Soft gasps, tender touches, and whispered promises filled the night air.
Selso's hands explored Aya's curves, worshipping her body. His lips trailed kisses down her neck, shoulders, and back.
Their union was slow, passionate, and all-consuming. Every thrust, every whisper, every beat of their hearts echoed love's sweet surrender.
In Selso's arms, Aya found solace, forgetting fear, fever, and uncertainty. Only love remained.
Moonlight filtered through the window, illuminating Aya's cozy apartment. Selso and Aya sat together on the couch, sipping rich coffee.
"You're beautiful, even in exhaustion," Selso said, smiling.
Aya blushed. "You're charming, as always."
Selso's gaze turned serious. "Aya, I've been running from my problems, drowning in clubs and noise. But tonight, with you...I realized what truly matters."
Aya's heart skipped a beat. "What matters?"
Selso's fingers intertwined with hers. "You. Us. Finding solace in each other."
Aya's voice barely whispered. "I've found solace in you too, Selso."
Their eyes locked, love shining bright.
Selso leaned in, lips brushing hers. "Forever, mahal?"
"Forever," Aya whispered.
Selso stood, pulling Aya into his arms. "Dance with me."
Soft music filled the room. They swayed to the melody, lost in each other's eyes. As they swayed to the music, Selso's whispers wove a spell around Aya.
"You're a sunrise in my midnight, Aya. Warmth in my winter."
His breath caressed her ear.
"Your eyes, like sapphires, shine brighter with every smile."
Aya's cheeks flushed.
"Every moment with you is eternity," Selso murmured. "Every kiss, forever."
Their bodies moved as one, lost in the sweet melody.
"In your arms, I find solace," Aya whispered.
Selso's gaze locked onto hers. "In yours, I find home."
The music swelled, their love enveloping them.
"Mahal, you're the rhythm that makes my heart beat," Selso whispered intensely.
Aya's heart skipped a beat. "You're the melody that fills my soul."
Their lips met, softly, tenderly.
Time stood still.
While cuddling, Aya's blissful reverie dissolved into chaos. Shattering glass, footsteps, and menacing laughter invaded their sanctuary.
Selso instinctively shielded Aya, rolling off her. "Get down!" he yelled.
Gunshots echoed. Aya screamed as Selso's head jerked back, blood spurting from the wound.
"No! Selso!" she wailed, clutching his lifeless body.
Tears streamed down her face, mingling with Selso's warm blood. Her first love, her first heartbreak.
The goons fled, leaving devastation. Aya cradled Selso's limp form, rocking hysterically.
"Why?!" she screamed, anguish tearing her apart.
In his arms, she had found love. Now, death.
Aya's world shattered, leaving only agonizing despair.
