Prison School: No More Prison

Kiyoshi's POV:

"A-Andre-Dono…You are telling us that…?!"

"Y-Yes guys, Risa and I had a date together"

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Apparently while we had been busy with the PBR and Chiyo's birthday, Andre and Risa were on a date. Andre told us about his decision after receiving a gift from Risa, a gift that made him understand that he fell in love with her. 

"I had a weird feeling while looking at her gift. And after some thought, I made up my mind. I left a barrel to Meiko-san so she wouldn't have to worry about me not helping her with her exercises."

Oh… So that's where that barrel came from. I still had many questions though…

"Then, how did your date go, Andre? You came home pretty late…"

"A-About that…" Andre looked at the ceiling with a smile blush on his face. "I have something to tell you guys…"

"You can tell us anything Andre, you wouldn't be the only one with a bad day if that's your problem" Said Shingo in a semi-humorous tone. Bastard.

I had a weird feeling. Andre looked strangely shy, he doesn't tend to be like that near us. Did something bad happen? 

"The truth is that… Risa and I… Went to a cafe, and after that, Risa took me to her room…"

…?!

Huh?!

No… This must be a joke, right Andre? You couldn't be telling us that you… that you…

I looked around. Everyone's faces were ones of surprise, disbelief and weirdly, blushes.

"W-We wanted to do it in my room but… We were afraid any of you could hear us and… You know… It would be uncomfortable…"

I-... I can't believe it… He did it! That son of a bitch did it!

If I'm honest. I'm as jealous as a guy in my situation can be… after the terrible day I had… Hearing this is a low-kick in the guts… But as Andre's friend… I think I should say something…

"Andre"

"Y-Yes Kiyoshi?"

I grabbed him from his shoulders. He was surprised by this, naturally. 

"Congrats dude, you're officially… A man" I said while happy tears ran from my eyes.

"Andre-Dono!!!!" Gakuto Joined me.

"Congrats, dude!" "Yeah, congrats, you cheeky bastard *cough*" Shingo and Joe did the same.

The room was filled with joy once again. We all had to let our problems aside for a second to congratulate Andre. It seems that out of everyone of us in this room, it was him who matured the most.

"Thank you guys, it means a lot, just please don't say anything or Risa will kill you all" 

Heh… Everything felt almost too normal for me to think that this happened the same day as everything else.

"Now now, Andre-dono… Yours truly wants to hear more about your activities with Risa-chan! Bestow us with your knowledge!"

"I would guys, but I'm too tired to keep this conversation, what about tomorrow?"

"Yeah, we should all go to sleep" Joe and Shingo looked exhausted.

"I'll see you all later guys!" Said Andre while he left the room, smiling like a toddler.

Nearly 5 minutes after Andre left the room, the rest of us had a slight mood change.

"DAMNIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!" Shingo screamed with his whole body, striking a pose similar to one of a father losing his beloved child. 

"ANDRE, YOU….YOU…" Joe looked like he was about to cry his guts out.

Yeah, the guys didn't take it that well. Apparently, everyone had the security that they would be the first one to lose their virginities. In a group of friends like us, either we are all virgins or none of us are, death to traitors, right?

"To think that Andre-dono had such power in women…"

"..." 

I had no words in this situation. Realistically speaking, in my situation I had no privilege of wanting anything to do with another woman for the rest of my life. Not only because of everything that happened with Chiyo and Hana, but also for what happened in the festival…

"Mmm…Troubled times indeed… My fellow comrades, I, The greatest strategist of the modern age… Have a plan…"

"Huh? a plan for what exactly Gakuto?"

"Isn't it obvious, Kiyoshi-dono? To fix our problems with eachother's ladies and to become true men once and for all"

"*Cough* Gakuto…are you implying that you have a plan to get us to date the lady we like?

Gakuto smiled while adjusting his glasses. "Indeed… Yours truly has come up with a plan to get all of us laid!"

"Ga-Gakuto… Are you for real?" Shingo said dumbfounded. "Do you actually have a plan to do so? You of all people?"

"YES! I-"

"Don't count me in" Said Joe calmly 

"Huh? Joe-kun?"

"Don't misunderstand me, I will help y'all if needed, but I don't want you all to help me get closer to Cake-san."

I was genuinely surprised. I think this is the first time ever Joe doesn't follow the lead. Was it an ego problem? Maybe he doesn't see himself with Sato-san?

Whatever his situation is… I have to say I'm on a similar one. I don't want to talk to Chiyo at the moment. If anything, I should do my best not to ever talk to her again. Even if it hurts me… It's the least a disgusting pervert like me can do…

"I'm also not joining, Gakuto, I want to leave Chiyo alone"

Gakuto's face changed rapidly. Guess he was expecting us to help him. Don't worry Gakuto, your school days are far from over! I'll help you in any way I can!

"I… Could use some help…" Shingo surprised us with his reaction. His tone showed us a shy face of his we never saw before. "In order to kiss Anzu… I need to beat her at the arcade!"

Shingo told us about the day they met. Apparently Anzu-san had an otaku-gamer side of her she doesn't tend to show in public, being especially good at fighting games. According to Shingo, the only way he'll feel man enough to kiss Anzu, was to be good enough to tie or win a match against her. But…

"That's impossible, Shingo… If what you're saying is right, Anzu is pro-level!"

"I know… That's why I'm asking for your help!"

"Mmm… If we let you win some matches that would take your score up, right?"

"Yes but… I wouldn't feel good about it, sorry"

"Don't worry Shingo, *cough* I can train with you"

"Ooh! Thank you, Joe"

While Shingo thanked Joe, Gakuto sat on the bed next to me.

"Kiyoshi-dono… I need your help to make my plan come true, then." Gakuto's face was one of a war veteran waiting for reinforcement. And even if I felt like ass, I couldn't let him hanging

"Mmm… Give me some days to think about my situation and I'll help you"

Gakuto put one of his hands on my shoulders "Thank you, Kiyoshi-dono"

As everyone returned to their rooms and went to sleep, all I could do was look at the wall in a weird fetal position. My realization finally came in, if my school life was already on the verge of death, if Chiyo tells anyone what happened, it would definitely be over for me. To be fair, I totally deserve it. I know I'm not some kind of hero or anything, even if Mari tried to make me look like that. The whole academy already hates me, the only woman I loved sees me as a pervert and we aren't even in the middle of our first year.

What am I gonna do now? Mari's gone, Chiyo hates me, Hana's actions are incomprehensible to me… While I was thinking what to do about my situation and almost giving up, I remembered something. Something my mother used to say:

"... When there's nothing left to do… All you can do is pray"

Don't misunderstand me, she's not religious at all, her favorite Sumo, Yasukuni, was known to change his stance to a praying one if he thought he was about to lose. To be fair, that sounds kinda badass. The point I wanna get to… Is that in this situation, all I'm left to do is pray. Pray for a miracle to save my life, I'm at my lowest anyway, right? The question is, who should I pray to?

Turning my back against the wall, I saw it. While I wasn't religious, the guys turned out to be quite so. While I was in prison for a second time, they all started their own religion. I came out of bed and fell on my knees. I put both hands together and awkwardly started praying to the idol I had in front of me.

"PBR-sama. In the past I've judged you, I've mocked you and I've used you in terrible ways no worshiping man like me should… Your anger against me is reasonable, if everything that's happening is your doing, I totally understand it… But… I ask for your forgiveness! I'll never mock you again, I'll worship you just like the other guys- no, even better than them!"

"K-Kiyoshi-dono… Your screams are as loud as Guan Yu's war cry"

Shit! I forgot Gakuto was sleeping in the top bed. "I-I'm sorry Gakuto…"

"Nono, yours truly understands, you had a revelation, right?"

"Huh?"

He grinned at me and sat next to me, copying my weird pose. "You've finally started believing in the powers of PBR-sama, right?" HIs face turned to one of a devoted man. "I've once been at my lowest too, and once I prayed to him, I felt the power of a thousand men on my back!"

"Aren't you on your lowest now?"

"DON'T TAKE ANYTHING FOR GRANTED, KIYOSHI-DONO!"

"I-I won't… But I would like to have PBR-sama's luck on my side. Just for this once…"

"Ahh… PBR-sama is a kind god, indeed, he will definitely hear your prayers… And if he doesn't…" Gakuto put his hands together. "I'll pray for your well being too"

"Gakuto…"

We both remained in silence praying to PBR-sama. If it had the power to turn Gakuto, the pant shitter, into the most famous student in the academy, I had nothing to be scared of.

After a small praying session, we both went back to bed. I felt surprisingly better, maybe it was PBR's doing, but it could also be having Gakuto supporting no matter what. Gakuto… If you ever need help with anything… I'll help you even if it means dying again!

With my mind finally having a small break, I was able to sleep for the rest of the night. I had a weird dream… I swear I could hear someone calling my name. It was a woman, a really beautiful one, her scent reminded me of a certain drink I once had… But I can't remember which one…

08th of July, Sunday.

I woke up to my alarm, set at 7 am. To say I felt like a truck hit me would be an understatement. Maybe my body finally caught up to my mind. All the security and strength I was given by the boys was replaced with helplessness and shame. I didn't want to see another girl for the rest of my life, and coming from me, that's something. I readied my bag full of clothes to go and take a shower. Gakuto was sleeping like a princess, maybe he was tired from everything too.

*Knock Knock*

My thoughts were interrupted by the knocking of my door. Joe or Shingo were probably looking for someone to take a shower with.

I opened the door and instead of meeting one of my buddies, a gingerish woman was standing at my door.

"Greetings, Kiyoshi-kun" Kate, the president of the ASC, was standing by my door, looking terribly tired, bags in her eyes. It's like she was crying all night. "W-What happened, you look terrible!"

"I could say the same about you… Your nose is awfully pink"

Kate took a handkerchief from her pocket and rubbed it on her nose, was she trying to look elegant?

"F-Forget what I've said. I came to deliver this to you." Kate handed me an envelope. Inside of it I found some paper and a letter.

"Hmm? What 's this?" It took me a second to realize who's writing this was. "T-This is?!"

"Y-Yes… It's a letter from Mari…" She looked kinda emotional… Should I say something? "L-Look Kiyoshi-kun…"

"Y-Yes?"

"I…I made you go through some bad things in the past, b-but I'd like to fix my errors and move on… I-If you'd give me the chance"

W-Wow… I didn't expect Kate to genuinely apologize for what she's done. After the events in the festival I could only see her as a cowardly piece of trash… But to be fair, I didn't have the time to get to know her.

"I-It's okay Kate-chan, there's no reason to apologize, I'd gladly start over if you'd do the same with me"

"N-Naturally… Let's put aside everything and look forward to working with each other" Said the ginger lady with a slight blush. Ah shit, that's right she saw my Eryngii… Wait-

"Working together? What do you mean?"

"Ah… You'll get it once you read Mari's letter. I'm busy right now so please take a look at it and let's discuss it tomorrow, okay?"

"Y-Yes Kate, See ya!" 

We both seemed to not be having the greatest days of our lives. At least it felt good to talk to a girl without her looking down on me. If she knew what happened… I don't think she would apologize like she just did. In any case, I hope she forgives me after she finds out about everything, once Chiyo tells her…

As soon as she left I sat down and opened the letter… 

Huh?!

"T-This is?!"

End of Kiyoshi's POV

Risa's POV:

I woke up, sat on the edge of my bed while Mitsuko snored her life out. She arrived really late at night, I wondered where she was…I changed my clothes and took a sip of water…

Suddenly a recent memory flashed through my eyes… And I couldn't help but blush…

Yesterday, Andre and I finally talked about our feelings, and as corny as it sounds, it was for the better. Thanks to Mother, I had my first ever date with a boy. Not only that, but after he and I came to my room and secured it so Mitsuko wouldn't interrupt us… He and I…

It took me a second to realize I was crushing my water bottle, and apparently, my grip was strong enough to break it.

"Risa-san, good morning!" Mitsuko was sleepy but her face was full of energy as usual.

"Hey"

Mitsuko got up and sat on my spare bed. She accidentally caused a fire in her room and is now sharing with me. She awkwardly looked at the door knob, where the 'Please don't disturb' door hanger I used yesterday was. "S-So… You brought someone with you yesterday?"

I couldn't help but blush. "Yes… I'm dating Andre"

Mitsuko gasped and fell from bed right beside me. I sighed and helped her to get up. 

"W-Wow! Congratulations Risa-san! I always thought you two made a great couple!" 

"...Thanks…"

"So that's how it is, huh?" Someone else entered the room. "Congrats, Risa, I wish the best for you too" Kate smiled at me. But…

"T-Thanks Kate…Are you-"

"Yes yes, don't worry about me, I had a rough evening" She said while trying to fix her hair. "So…Tell us some details, would you?" She said as she laid her hands on my shoulders

Well… They are my friends, right? I should tell them…

"A-And so that's what we did…" I tried my best to keep my cool.

Mitsuko was blushing and covering her mouth, I get you girl, I was embarrassed too.

"O-Oh…So you just kissed?" Said Kate slightly blushed

"D-Don't say it like it's nothing, okay?"

"S-Sorry!! I-I thought that you two were in this room doing the other kind of stuff, hehe"

Mmm? The other kind? Oh, she means that?

"Heh, Nah, we did that on his bedroom, I think he likes it better that way" 

Kate was now blushing pretty hard while covering her mouth. Mitsuko looked confused. Doesn't surprise me, I guessed she didn't know that much about masochism.

"A-Anyways! There was another reason why I came here…" Said Kate while she took an envelope out her bag

"What 's this?"

"I've got news… Things are going to have a big change in the academy"
