Quirkless Hero

Stepping through Kurogiri's warp gate, Midoriya Izuku arrived in a large, luxurious room. The dim lighting gave it a chilling and eerie atmosphere. 

Scanning the room, Midoriya finally spotted the person who had invited him. Seated in an office chair with his back turned, the man's face was obscured. Kurogiri bowed and announced, 

"Master, I've brought Midoriya." 

"Well done, Kurogiri. You may leave now." 

The man made a hand gesture, and Kurogiri bowed again before opening a portal and disappearing. At that moment, the office chair turned around to face Midoriya, revealing the man's true appearance.

It was a man in a suit, with a tall and sturdy build. However, the area above his mouth was entirely covered by a mass of flesh, leaving only vague eye sockets. His bald head made him look both ridiculous and terrifying.

"We meet again, Midoriya Izuku."

"'Again'?"

Midoriya was shocked by the man's appearance, but his attention was drawn to the man's words. When had he ever met this person before?

"Could it be?!"

Midoriya's quick mind immediately recalled the encounter before the training camp, in front of the All Might statue. That person, wrapped in bandages and wearing a hat, was clearly in disguise... and all the physical features matched the man before him.

"Just as you thought."

The man confirmed Midoriya's suspicion with a smile. Tapping his left temple with his finger, he spoke slowly:

"Let me introduce myself first. You can call me 'All For One.'"

"All For One? Everyone for me?"

"That's right. It's the name of my Quirk and has essentially replaced my real name."

All For One spoke kindly, but it only made Midoriya more cautious. Something felt off—very off. The leader of the League of Villains was acting strangely. And why had they come to capture him?

Thoughts swirled in Midoriya's mind as All For One continued:

"First, let me apologize for the way we invited you here. Now, let's get to the main reason."

"Midoriya Izuku, would you like to join my League of Villains?"

"I refuse!"

Midoriya didn't even need to think about it. He rejected All For One's proposal outright. His dream was to become a hero. Even if he couldn't be a hero, he would never join forces with villains.

"As expected."

Midoriya's response didn't surprise All For One. The boy before him might truly become a hero on par with All Might one day—if nothing changed. But unfortunately, the future was already different.

"You don't need to answer so quickly. Let me continue introducing myself."

All For One wasn't in a hurry. For him, making a righteous boy fall into darkness was simple. But getting the boy to stop hating him? That was a bit trickier.

"My Quirk, 'All For One,' allows me to steal Quirks and grant Quirks. I'm sure that interests you, doesn't it?"

"What?!"

Hearing the explanation of All For One's ability, Midoriya was genuinely shocked. A Quirk that could both steal and bestow other Quirks—a power that stood above all others. And this man was the leader of the League of Villains?

"Midoriya, you don't have a Quirk, do you? My Quirk allows me to take any Quirk you want and give it to you. What do you think?"

"......."

Midoriya fell silent. Being Quirkless was his deepest wound. While he had compensated with gear and tools, he still envied those with Quirks and dreamed of having a strong and impressive one of his own.

The offer All For One presented was incredibly tempting. Many people might have accepted it on the spot. However...

"I refuse!"

Repeating his earlier words, Midoriya spoke firmly:

"First, I will never join a villain organization. My dream is to become a hero.

Second, even if someone gave me a stolen Quirk, I would never accept it.

Third, I know the League of Villains' goal is to kill All Might. Do you think I don't know that?"

After hearing what Midoriya Izuku said, All For One paused briefly, then burst into laughter. 

"You're absolutely right. My goal is to kill All Might, the man I hate the most!" 

Suddenly standing up, All For One took a few steps toward Midoriya Izuku, leaning his tumor-like face close to him. Midoriya, refusing to back down, glared at All For One with unwavering determination. 

"You've seen this face, haven't you? Back then, All Might almost killed me. I barely survived, and now I'm stuck looking like this. Ridiculous, isn't it?" 

"That's right! You ended up like this because of your own actions. All Might is a hero of justice!" 

Midoriya, a devoted admirer of All Might, would never doubt the "Symbol of Peace." To him, All For One was nothing more than a shameless villain who brought this upon himself. 

"How irritating." 

Five metallic tendrils suddenly shot out from All For One's hand, piercing Midoriya Izuku's body in an instant. As Midoriya tried to fight back, his body weakened, and he collapsed to the ground. 

"All Might's Quirk is called 'One For All.'" 

"All Might's... Quirk..." 

Hearing this, Midoriya, paralyzed and lying on the ground, could only muster enough strength to speak faintly. 

"The Quirk 'One For All' was created by me. It has the ability to store power and be passed on. All Might is the eighth inheritor." 

"What...?" 

Even in his weakened state, Midoriya was shocked by what All For One revealed. All Might's Quirk, a secret all of Japan was curious about, turned out to have such a surprising origin. 

"Funny, isn't it? A Quirk I created ended up being inherited by All Might, who used it to nearly kill me." 

"But 'One For All' now belongs to Togata Mirio. All Might passed it on to him." 

"Mirio-senpai..." 

Midoriya felt a pang of bitterness. So the person rumored to be All Might's successor, Togata Mirio, was quite literally his successor. He couldn't help but feel envious. 

"What... are you planning...?" 

Now wasn't the time to dwell on these thoughts. Midoriya could feel the metallic tendrils inside him draining his strength and transferring something into his body. 

"Of course, I'm giving you a gift! I've been looking forward to our next meeting, so I prepared a special present just for you." 

"Bastard..." 

Midoriya understood exactly what All For One meant, and his heart filled with disgust. He had no desire for a Quirk stolen from others!
