Quirkless Hero

Chapter 114: Chapter 114: Malice

All For One retracted the metallic appendages from his hand. Whatever he was doing seemed to be finished. He then turned to observe Midoriya Izuku, curious to see his next move.

Barely managing to stand, Midoriya glared at him with anger and shouted:

"What are you trying to do?!"

"Nothing much. I just happen to admire you a lot. This is a special gift I prepared just for you," All For One replied, smiling faintly.

Faced with All For One's dismissive attitude and evasive response, Midoriya Izuku suppressed his anger. Kouta was still in the enemy's hands… he couldn't act recklessly.

"You can leave now."

"What?!"

All For One's words left Midoriya Izuku stunned. After causing such chaos and dragging him here, this man was now telling him to leave? What kind of trick was this?

"You were invited as a guest, after all. I wouldn't forcefully take away your freedom."

With an exaggerated grin, All For One spoke. Midoriya Izuku didn't believe a word coming from the leader of the "League of Villains," but right now, none of that mattered. The priority was:

"Kouta! The little boy you captured—I'm taking him with me!"

"So the kid's name is Kouta?"

Feigning realization, All For One tapped his temple with his finger, then turned his eyeless face toward Midoriya Izuku.

"As a hostage to keep you obedient, Tomura has been taking good care of him."

"I want to see Kouta!"

Ignoring any pleasantries, Midoriya's demand was direct. In response, All For One spread his arms and said:

"No problem~"

As soon as he finished speaking, Kurogiri's warp gate appeared, swirling into existence in the room. All For One gestured politely with his right hand.

"That child is on the other side of the 'gate.' He's probably very scared right now."

Glaring at All For One with rage, Midoriya Izuku stepped directly into Kurogiri's warp gate, followed by All For One, who grinned wickedly as he stepped through.

On the other side of the "gate," Midoriya Izuku found himself in an abandoned factory. He immediately noticed rows of tanks on both sides of the factory, each filled with writhing humanoid creatures. Nomu.

A wave of fear surged in Midoriya's heart. This man, All For One, had created so many Nomu—what was his ultimate goal?!

"How do you feel? It's your first time in the 'Nomu Factory.' Pretty shocking, isn't it?"

Emerging from the warp gate, All For One spoke in a tone almost like a teacher explaining something to a student. He proudly called all of this his masterpiece.

"Evil through and through!"

Midoriya Izuku felt nothing but disgust for All For One. The leader of the "League of Villains" had created so many monsters… how many people would suffer because of this?

"Evil? That's quite a fitting description. But isn't it because of 'evil' like us that the greatness of heroes and their justice truly stands out?"

"Cut the nonsense! Where's Kouta?!"

Looking around the factory, Midoriya didn't see Kouta anywhere. He was anxious and had no time to waste listening to All For One's twisted logic. He didn't want to engage in this sick conversation with the "League of Villains."

"In such a hurry, aren't you? Kurogiri."

"Understood!"

Following All For One's orders, Kurogiri bowed and disappeared. Moments later, another warp gate appeared in front of Midoriya Izuku, and Shigaraki Tomura emerged, dragging a terrified Kouta with him.

"Kouta!"

Midoriya Izuku charged forward, slamming into Shigaraki Tomura and knocking him aside. He quickly wrapped his arms around the frightened child, holding him tightly. It was his fault that Kouta had been dragged into this.

"Teacher, what exactly are you trying to do? Taking care of kids is such a hassle."

Shigaraki Tomura couldn't understand. Recently, he felt like his teacher had become a completely different person, but it didn't really matter to him. Shigaraki had trusted and relied on his teacher since he was young. To him, AFO was an irreplaceable presence, like a father.

"Tomura, don't be so impatient. Witness the touching scene before you. It's a rare and joyful sight," All For One said, laughing. Shigaraki Tomura scratched his cheek in confusion, unable to grasp his teacher's actions, while Midoriya Izuku became more alert. AFO's words didn't sound like they carried good intentions.

"I'm taking Kouta out of here."

Without saying another word, Midoriya picked up the frightened Kouta and sprinted toward the factory's exit. The sooner they escaped the enemy's base, the better.

"Midoriya, you really are in a rush. I did say you were an invited guest," AFO said, tapping his forehead with his index finger and adding with a troubled expression,

"But I never mentioned that little Kouta was an invited guest, did I?"

The moment those words left All For One's mouth, Midoriya Izuku felt a sense of foreboding. He bolted toward the factory's door, but suddenly, a cultivation tank on the left side of the factory exploded. A massive figure leaped out, landing heavily and blocking the exit. The impact shattered and cracked the ground.

"It's you!?"

The person in front of him was none other than the muscle-bound villain Midoriya had battled during the forest training camp. But something was strange—his body now had two black cylinders embedded in his shoulders, two more in his thighs, and one in the center of his chest.

"You damn brat..."

The muscle villain snarled at Midoriya Izuku. He blamed Midoriya for his current state. The League of Villains' leader was ruthless toward those who disobeyed his orders, and even this man felt fear.

"You went against my orders. I was planning to turn you into a Nomu since your Quirk is decent, but now I've changed my mind."

Standing on the second floor of the factory, All For One addressed the muscle villain below while making sure Midoriya Izuku heard as well.

"Do you see that little boy? Kill him, and I'll let you go. But you can't hurt Midoriya Izuku, or the black tubes in your body will inject a neurotoxin and turn you into a mindless Nomu."

"All For One! You bastard!!"

Midoriya roared, finally realizing the meaning behind AFO's earlier words. So this was his plan?

No way—Midoriya Izuku would never allow it!

The muscle villain fixed his bloodthirsty gaze on Kouta, who collapsed to the ground in fear. After everything he had been through, the seven-year-old had finally reached his limit.

But just then, a hand rested on Kouta's head. It was Midoriya Izuku.

"I will protect you!"

These were Midoriya's words—not empty promises but a vow. Midoriya Izuku swore in his heart:

Even if it costs me my life, I'll protect Kouta!

"Playing hero, huh? Too bad I won't join your little game!"

The muscle-bound villain, with his body wrapped in thick muscle fibers, charged toward Kouta like a tank. If he could just take down this kid left behind by the Wasserhaus family, he could survive.

But his advance gradually came to a halt. A single person had stopped him with their flesh and blood—Midoriya Izuku.

As the villain charged toward Kouta, Midoriya ran forward as well. Midway, he used his hands to firmly hold back the muscle villain's body. They skidded backward, carving a five-meter-long trench into the ground. Midoriya Izuku's face turned red with effort, but he finally managed to stop the enemy's advance.

"You little bastard!"

The muscle-bound man gritted his teeth in anger. Despite his fury, he didn't dare harm Midoriya Izuku. If he did… his own life would be forfeit under all-for-one's orders.
