Chapter 23: Chapter No.23 Dragon Eyes (1)
[Meghnad's POV]
Four years later.
It's tomorrow. The day I have been waiting for... Yogic Prana awakening. Turning seven years old was the set requirement for the initiation into Yogic Prana, a significant milestone in my journey. It was an essential rite, a key to unlocking the potential within me. For years, I had trained, studied, and prepared for this moment, knowing it would shape the course of my destiny.
The sun was setting over the grand palace of Lanka, casting long shadows over the ornate structures and lush gardens. As I stood on the balcony of my chambers, gazing at the horizon, a sense of anticipation and solemnity washed over me. I could feel the energy in the air, a subtle hum of power that seemed to resonate with the very core of my being.
In those four years, Many things happened like; Due to repetitive practice of those breathing exercises I came to sense the Yogic Prana, Only sense and not manipulate as only awakened one could do that. However, the very ability to sense it was a crucial step forward. The feeling was indescribable and yet profound like a gentle river flowing within me, waiting to be harnessed and directed.
But that was not all as I sensed one more thing but instead of coming from outside it was coming from within. A latent power, a dormant energy that seemed to pulse with a rhythm of its own. It was different from the Yogic Prana, more intense, more raw, and... dark. If described in one word then it would be the Storm.
Not just any storm but a storm of pure darkness, swirling within the depths of my being. This energy felt ancient, almost primordial, and it both intrigued and frightened me. It was as if two forces were vying for dominance within me: the tranquil flow of Yogic Prana and the tempestuous surge of this dark storm.
'So this is the power of Black Dragon Bloodline—this is what it means to have the Black Dragon bloodline within me,' I thought, feeling a mix of awe and trepidation. The boon from Mahadev at the time of my reincarnation the Meghnad was now becoming more evident. The dormant energy I felt inside me was a testament to the extraordinary lineage and potential that had been granted to me. The Black Dragon bloodline, with its raw, dark power, was both a gift and a challenge. It was clear that my journey would not only involve mastering the Yogic Prana but also learning to control and integrate this dark, tempestuous energy.
When one day, I was sitting under the largest tree in the royal garden meditating and feeling the flow of Yogic Prana inside my body. I could sense the rhythmic flow of the Yogic Prana as it coursed through my veins, a calming, steady force that seemed to bring balance and clarity to my mind. The process of meditating under the ancient tree was soothing, and its age-old presence seemed to lend a sense of grounding and stability. The gentle rustling of the leaves above and the faint scent of blooming flowers created an atmosphere of tranquility.
But that day instead of just feeling the flow, I followed it with my sense, letting it guide me deeper into my inner self. It starts from entering my body through each breath and pores and flows into the core of my being, weaving through the pathways of my internal energy. As I allowed this sensation to guide me deeper, I reached a profound level of introspection.
The Yogic Prana, with its smooth and rhythmic flow, continued to provide a sense of balance and calm. Its gentle current seemed to nurture and support me, creating a space of serenity amidst the chaos of the world outside. But as I ventured further, guided by the awareness of my inner self, I approached the border of this tranquil domain and came face-to-face with the dark storm.
That was the first time I sensed the full extent of the storm's power. It was a swirling mass of shadow and tumult, a force that seemed to pulsate with its own heartbeat. As I drew closer, the intensity of the storm grew, and I could feel its energy pressing against the boundaries of my consciousness, challenging my sense of control and stability.
Then inside the storm, two golden orbs opened up each orb had a large iris and a vertical pupil, like a cat.
The golden orbs emerged from the center of the storm, piercing through the swirling shadows with an intense and commanding presence. They seemed to hold a profound wisdom, reflecting the ancient and primordial nature of the dark energy within me. The eyes locked onto me with an almost sentient awareness, their gaze both penetrating and enigmatic.
As I focused on these orbs, I felt a profound shift in the storm. The chaotic energy began to coalesce around them, forming a semblance of order amidst the tempestuous swirl. It was as if the eyes were the focal point of the storm, the source of its raw power and the key to understanding it.
The gaze of the golden orbs conveyed a multitude of emotions: power, anger, and a deep, ancient sorrow. It was clear that this storm was not just a random manifestation of dark energy but a living, conscious entity that had its own history and purpose. I sensed a strong connection between these eyes and the Black Dragon bloodline within me—a link that transcended mere physical power and touched upon the very essence of my heritage.
In response to the storm's presence, I took a deep breath, grounding myself with the Yogic Prana. I felt the calming flow of the Prana intertwining with the storm's darkness, attempting to bring balance to the turbulent energy. The storm seemed to respond to this effort, its fury calming slightly as if acknowledging my attempt to understand and integrate it.
I reached out with my awareness, trying to communicate with the presence behind the golden eyes. The storm's energy was a complex tapestry of emotions and sensations, and I tried to decipher its language. It was as if the storm was testing my resolve, challenging me to prove my worthiness to wield its power.
And suddenly it all vanished and I was thrown out of the deep meditation, back to the surface of my consciousness. I gasped for breath, my heart pounding in my chest as I slowly opened my eyes. The once calm and serene garden had transformed into a scene of startling contrast—moonlight casting eerie shadows, and the gentle breeze now felt heavy with the weight of my recent experience.
I could still feel the remnants of the storm's energy within me, a faint echo of its presence lingering like a whisper in the back of my mind. It was as if the storm had retreated into the recesses of my being, leaving me with an unspoken challenge and an unfulfilled connection.
I sat there for a moment, gathering my thoughts and calming my racing heart. The ancient tree under which I had meditated seemed to offer its silent support, its branches gently swaying as if in acknowledgment of the profound experience I had just undergone. The tranquility of the garden now felt like a distant memory, overshadowed by the intensity of the dark storm.
What I failed to notice was the slight glow from my back, as I was still caught in the aftermath of my meditation. The subtle glow seemed to emanate from my very core, casting a faint aura that rippled around me. It was a soft, shimmering light, contrasting starkly with the darkness of the storm I had confronted.
That was the first and the last time I saw those eyes because no matter how much I tried, I could never summon their presence again. The golden orbs, once a focal point of the storm's chaotic power, had vanished as suddenly as they had appeared. The storm, too, had retreated into the depths of my being, leaving me with a lingering sense of awe and unease. It was as if that moment of contact was a fleeting glimpse into a deeper, more profound reality, one that I had yet to fully understand.
In the days leading up to the Yogic Prana awakening ceremony, I found myself both eager and apprehensive. The ceremony was to be held at dawn, marking the beginning of a new chapter in my life. Preparations were underway throughout the palace, with sacred rites and rituals being performed to ensure a successful and auspicious initiation.
Anyway, one more thing happened in those years: I finally became a big brother. The arrival of my little brother from my second mother Dhanyamalini was a momentous event that brought a fresh wave of emotions into our lives. The palace was abuzz with excitement and joy as Dhanyamalini gave birth to a healthy baby boy. He was named Atikay, a name that symbolized righteous, virtuous, just, and courageous attributes. The birth of Atikay was celebrated with great fervor, marking a new beginning for our family and a fresh chapter in the history of the royal lineage.
Everyone doted on him just as I doted on him, feeling a mix of pride and responsibility as the elder brother. The palace was abuzz with joy and excitement, with servants and courtiers alike marveling at the new addition to the royal family. Dhanyamalini, though weary from childbirth, radiated serene happiness, while Ravana's pride was palpable.
