Rebirth in Journey to the West: Sun Wukong

Chapter 13: Chapter 13 Make you Tremble

He was merely a Taiyi Scattered Immortal, and in his previous life, Sun Wukong had encountered opponents stronger than himself. From the moment he was born in this life, he had sworn in his heart that unless he faced an existence he absolutely could not withstand and needed to temporarily endure, he would never bow to anyone again!

Look at how I, Old Sun, deal with a Taiyi Scattered Immortal who can only utilize the elemental forces between heaven and earth to launch attacks!

With a flicker of his shape, a silhouette walked out of Sun Wukong's body, another clone, but not one from the Clone Technique, rather from the Cloning Divine Powers, which, other than being unable to use the Cloning Divine Powers again, was exactly the same as Sun Wukong in every aspect, including combat power and physical strength!

When the Dharma Decree Techniques ascended to the Divine Skills stage, it was truly a whole new level. However, these Divine Skills were not easy to master. If it weren't for Sun Wukong having absorbed and fused so many Heavenly Dao Law Fragments in the Heavenly Dao Long River, and having healed his missing heart channels, he wouldn't have been able to grasp the Cloning Divine Powers so soon upon reaching the Heavenly Immortal Realm.

No sooner had the clone appeared than, together, they managed to disperse all the whirlwinds with a single strike. Sun Wukong and his clone burst out, one to the left and one to the right, shooting up like arrows toward Dou Zhentian, who was floating mid-air.

"What? How is this possible?"

Dou Zhentian was shocked, and in a panic, he hurriedly gathered his spells, unleashing a rainstorm-like barrage of ice blades at Sun Wukong and his clone.

"Shield!"

With a light cry from Sun Wukong, his clone's figure turned into a shield attached to his left hand, blocking all incoming ice blades. Without the slightest pause, he charged straight up to Dou Zhentian and, under his astonished gaze, smashed a fierce punch onto his face, igniting him with True Solar Fire, which instantly set Dou Zhentian ablaze.

"Ah~!"

Dou Zhentian screamed as he was blasted backward, shooting like a giant fireball into the thundercloud layer.

"It's not over yet!"

With a cold snort, Sun Wukong's left-hand shield transformed back into his clone, which sped up to intercept Dou Zhentian before him, delivering a harsh 360-degree spinning kick to his back, sending him flying back as the True Solar Fire on him grew even more intense.

"Ah~! Damn monkey! I'll fight you with everything!"

Enduring the severe pain in his chest and back while trying to extinguish the True Solar Fire—which was not an easy feat—Dou Zhentian used all his strength, but could only barely defend against the burning, leading him to despair and a destructive rage.

A violent aura erupted from him, drawing all the surrounding spiritual energy and elemental energy toward him, filling the air with a scent of destruction as his body began to swell.

"Thinking of self-destructing?"

Sun Wukong's pupils shrunk slightly, and then his eyes grew colder, "Old Sun won't let you succeed! Break!"

With a move, Sun Wukong and his clone pounced forward, pressing their fingertips against Dou Zhentian's chest and back, directing their strength into his body. At that moment, Dou Zhentian's defensive strength was practically zero, and Sun Wukong and his clone directly opened a blood hole in his chest and back—not large, only about the size of a fingertip, but it was like opening a hole on a swelling balloon, deflating him!

All the spiritual energy and elemental powers that Dou Zhentian had gathered dispersed, and his swollen body deflated like a punctured ball, his eyes filled with terror. The True Solar Fire, following the holes made by Sun Wukong, burrowed inside and began burning his internal organs, leaving him utterly incapable of fighting back.

"That'll teach you to be arrogant!"

"Bang!"

Before Dou Zhentian could even scream, Sun Wukong slapped his cheek, sending him spinning and tumbling through the air.

"That'll teach you to show off!"

"Bang!"

The clone caught up, swung a slap, and sent Dou Zhentian flying back again.

"That'll teach you to 'shake the heavens'!"

"Bang!"

"That'll teach you to be mad!"

"Bang!"

"..."

Each curse was followed by a dull thud echoing in the midair. Mosquito Daoist watched Dou Zhentian get tossed around like a ball, his lips twitching. So, this was Sun Wukong's real strength. It seemed that during their fight, Sun Wukong had still held back. If he had used his Cloning Divine Powers, even if he couldn't defeat him, he wouldn't have been so easily subdued.

It was clear that Sun Wukong harbored many resentments, which seemed to have all exploded on Dou Zhentian!

"Poor guy! But it's good for me. A companion dies, but the Daoist survives, boundless Heavenly Venerate!"

After reciting this to himself, Mosquito Daoist felt much better. Watching Sun Wukong mercilessly beat Dou Zhentian now seemed quite satisfying, "The angle of the blow is a bit off… Yes, that's how you hit! Ah, you should have hit on the left side to generate more force…"

Dou Zhentian had completely lost the ability to resist. The True Solar Fire continuously invaded his body, burning every inch of his flesh. Even now, he didn't understand from where this calamity had appeared and why it had targeted their Zhentian Gang.

"I, I'm not willing to give in! Who are you really..."

This was Dou Zhentian's final roar, filled with unwillingness and endless resentment. After his body was completely devoured by the True Solar Fire, transforming into a dazzling blaze that slowly extinguished and disappeared into the sky.

"The, the leader is dead!"

"The leader has been killed!"

"Run, run!"

Although the Barbarian Race was fond of war, that did not mean they truly feared nothing. Seeing that even the strongest leader, Dou Zhentian, had been obliterated by Sun Wukong, the members of the Zhentian Gang finally felt fear. Facing an existence they couldn't possibly defeat, no creature could remain immune to the emotion of fear. Initially pursued and losing ground due to Sun Wukong's clones, the Zhentian Gang members now didn't even have the courage to resist, screaming as they scattered in all directions.

"Kill, leave none alive!"

If you don't remove the roots, the spring breeze will bring them back to life! Sun Wukong didn't want to be targeted by the Zhentian Gang members for revenge someday. Even if he himself was not afraid, what if the survivors targeted those close to him? The monkeys and offspring of Flower-Fruit Mountain did not possess his skill, and he didn't want Flower-Fruit Mountain to become the next village to be slaughtered!

A pursuit as sweeping as the autumn wind sweeping fallen leaves ensured that not even a rat from the entire Zhentian Gang could escape. Sun Wukong completely dismantled the gang's headquarters, and a fire directly reduced it to ashes.

"From now on, there is no Zhentian Gang in this world!"

The booming voice sounded like a declaration from the gods, spreading from the peak of Mount Cloud-Rubbing to all directions. By the time the Barbarian Race's masters arrived in response to the declaration, Sun Wukong and Mosquito Daoist had already left, leaving the peak completely empty, with only interlaced marks and the scattered, shattered boulders telling the tale of the fierce battle that had recently occurred...

At the edge of the Northern Continent of Cattle-grazing, in a valley filled with peach blossom arrays, Sun Wukong bid farewell to Mosquito Daoist and a few others, preparing to return to Three-Star Cave Heaven.

"Wukong, my brother, thanks for your help this time!"

Mosquito Daoist clasped his fist towards Sun Wukong.

"Brother Luo, it's nothing to thank me for, even without me, you could have easily handled the Zhentian Gang people. Dou Zhentian would have been down in a few hits in your hands!"

Sun Wukong smiled and said, "I'm glad you don't mind me taking your job! Well, let's part here; I should head back to the sect. Don't worry, I keep my mouth shut, and I won't mention you to the master!"

Sun Wukong knew what Mosquito Daoist was worried about. Honestly, he also wasn't sure what kind of reaction the Puti Patriarch would have if he really knew of Mosquito Daoist's whereabouts; perhaps he might even come knocking with a sword.

"I cannot repay this great kindness. Take care, brother Wukong!"

"Take care!"

Riding the Somersault Cloud, Sun Wukong transformed into a streak of light, soaring into the skies and quickly disappearing into the horizon.

Watching Sun Wukong's receding figure, Mosquito Daoist's eyes flashed with a sharp light, a premonition quietly rising in his heart. Sun Wukong's departure might soon cause a tumultuous upheaval within the Eastern Heavenly Realm and the Western Buddhist Kingdom. He was actually quite looking forward to it...

Riding the Somersault Cloud in the clouds, just as he was about to reach the borders of Western Cattle Gift State, Sun Wukong suddenly slammed on the brakes and came to a halt.

"Wait, the master is a Heavenly Dao Saint, and a saint can communicate with the Heavenly Dao; it's possible he has foreseen this meeting between me and Brother Luo. That would endanger Brother Luo!"

Sun Wukong's eyes flickered, making a decision, "I need to find something to cover this up, to shift the master's focus. Ruyi Golden-Hooped Rod, that's settled!"

Changing direction, Sun Wukong flew towards the Eastern Sea.

In the Crystal Palace at the bottom of the Eastern Sea.

"Snap!"

The Eastern Sea Dragon King Ao Guang suddenly dropped the nine-colored glazed lamp in his hand, shattering it on the floor. Furrowing his brows, he murmured, "Strange, I feel somewhat uneasy, as if something bad is about to happen."

As he wondered, a patrolling Yaksha hurried inside: "Your Majesty, there's a Heavenly Immortal named Sun Wukong outside claiming to be your neighbor, and he seems about to enter!"

"My neighbor? I reign over the Eastern Sea, where did this neighbor come from?"

Ao Guang was a bit stunned and, after turning his eyes, instructed his dragon offspring and the shrimp soldiers and crab generals to get dressed in their armor and join him to welcome the guest. Just as he reached the gate, Sun Wukong had already passed through the water curtain of the Crystal Palace and landed at the Palace Gate, greeting Ao Guang with a grin, "Old Dragon King, long time no see, do you still remember me, old Sun?"

"Uh, this Immortal seems somewhat familiar, yet I can't seem to recall from where?"

Ao Guang was startled; who is this person that acts so familiar? He had absolutely no memory of him!
