POV Shisui Uchiha

My name is Shisui Uchiha, 12 years old. I am a member of the Uchiha clan and am the Jonin of the Hidden in the Leaves Village. I am considered the Genius of the clan because of my rapid development as a Shinobi and because of my eyes, which gave me the strongest Genjutsu ability, Kotoamatsukami. I got them when I awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan, due to the death of my close friend who I left for dead when we were chased after a failed mission and escaped. The mission proved too difficult for the two Genin. I blamed myself for his death for a long time, and the pain of it was enough for me to awaken Mangekyo Sharingan, our clan's strongest Dojutsu. But I tried to use it as little as possible, not only because overuse of such power harmed my eyes, but also because I myself didn't want to use the technique on people.

I had been an orphan since childhood and was raised by members of the clan. I didn't know much about my mother, but my father was a rather famous Shinobi. His name was Kagami Uchiha and he was one of the strongest members of the clan in history. Unfortunately, he died shortly after I was born and I didn't get to know him at all. After I was promoted to the rank of Chunin, the clan leader introduced me to his son. At first, Itachi seemed like a grown man in a child's body, pondering all of life's questions that most adults wouldn't think about. But after a while I got to know him and he became my best friend, despite his small age. He also introduced me to his childhood friend and son of the Fourth Hokage, Menma Uzumaki. He was an incredibly talented boy and excelled in everything Itachi, his peer who is also considered a Genius. He seemed like a good person to me, but later on, I realised that wasn't the case at all....

Some time later, when Itachi became a Genin and I became a Jonin, he introduced me to a member of his team who was also a member of our clan, Sarikawa Uchiha. A talented girl on par with Itachi, who always shut herself off from the clan and trained alone. That was my opinion of her before I met her, but it changed drastically after just a few conversations with her. I learnt about the reasons for her isolation and about herself, and I was well impressed. I enjoyed training with her and we started seeing each other more often. But when we were training, she often mentioned her closest friend, who she had become less frequent with, Menma Uzumaki. At first she would just say that he was giving her less time, but she didn't want to tell him herself because he had already helped her a lot and she couldn't repay him in any way. But at some point, Saki started to speak ill of him. At first she just stopped feeling grateful for him, but then she started complaining about him.

- He's a cruel, heartless man. I didn't see it before, but he doesn't value other people's lives and doesn't care that they might be hurt and suffering when he kills them so brutally. After all, even if they are thugs, they must have a reason why they became that way. Why can't he capture them and send them to prison to reform?

- Saki, I certainly agree that you can't be so cruel to people, but some people just don't reform.

- But even so, how can he enjoy their deaths? Every time we were attacked by bandits or Nukenins on missions, he was the first to jump into the fray and brutally killed everyone without listening to their pleas for mercy. Last time, he only caught one Chunin-level Nukenin and he didn't die right away. He was squirming in pain and blood was oozing out of him. He suddenly looked at me and I saw fear and despair in his eyes. He reached out his hand to me and in a hoarse voice asked for help. I couldn't move and I was scared, and he walked up to him and stabbed him in the throat with his katana. After that, the man stopped moving, and Dai-kun.... Menma-kun stared into the void in front of him and smiled. It was like that every time. I...*sob*...I...*sob*...I...*sob*...- covering her eyes with her hands, Saki began to sob quietly.

- You can't enjoy killing your enemies like that. I didn't think Menma Uzumaki was like that, but he seems to be the most common killer who justifies his actions with missions. You shouldn't hang out with him, he's only making you suffer. It's okay, the important thing is that you're not like that and you'll never be like that..." I walked over to her and hugged her, after which she finally stopped crying and fell asleep after a while.

- D-dai-kun, thank you." she whispered in her sleep.

- Menma? Why are you talking about him?

I really didn't understand why she said that at the time, but after her story, I was convinced that Menma Uzumaki wasn't as good as he wanted to make himself out to be. And I got confirmation of my conclusions after the Second Stage of the Chunin Exam when he attacked me and was about to kill me. But... when I was carrying Sarikawa to the block after she fell asleep, I heard it again....

- Dai-kun, don't go..." she said grabbing my hand. Dai-kun, I lied.....

- Menma again? You hate him, why are you talking about him again?" I sincerely didn't understand it, but after that she stopped talking and didn't say anything else.

The day after the incident, Menma came to me and apologised for his actions. I forgave him, but I haven't changed my opinion of him. He plays to the public and wants to appear kind, but I've seen what he's really like. A small, selfish, two-faced, crazy killer in the guise of a good kid. He was walking towards Saki's house, so I decided to follow him. But I realised how good he was at sensorics, so I acted as far away as possible, good thing the Sharingan allowed for that. When talking to her, he was also in his good-guy mask and apologised to Saki. I could understand everything by reading their conversation from their lips. After Menma's confession, Saki rejected him and left and he stood there in mute shock. I followed Saki and realised she was walking towards the waterfall near our training ground. I wanted to approach her, but I noticed tears dripping from her eyes. I didn't understand why she was crying at first, but when I reached the water she sat down and started saying something quietly.

- Dai-kun, it's not like that. It's not true, Dai-kun...- she repeated words of denial.

- Is it Menma again? What's going on with her?

After that incident, I was finally convinced that something was wrong with her, so I decided to look into it. The first thing I did was to look through all the data on the missions Saki had been on, but I didn't find anything noteworthy there. Then I went through the personnel files of Menma Uzumaki and Sarikawa Uchiha, all of which were hard to get, but I wasn't called the Genius of the Uchiha Clan and Master of Genjutsu for nothing. There was a lot of obscure stuff in the personnel file of both of them and especially in Menma's file. The story of the death of his parents and brother... something was wrong, but I couldn't figure out what.

Some time after starting my investigation, I finally came across a clue. In Lord Hokage's data on Saki, I found mention of a "Failed Task". After finding detailed information about it, I realised what had happened to Saki. Under the orders of the Third Hokage, the head of the Yamanaka clan, Inoichi, was on a mission to implant bookmarks into Sarikawa's mind that would make her fall in love with Menma. This was so that Jinchuriki Kyuubi would become attached to her and be loyal to the Village. But it seems the plan failed, as the bookmarks didn't work on her. After that, the mission was cancelled and that was the end of it. But it seems Yamanaka's technique still had an effect on Saki, and she is confused.

- Now everything is falling into place. But if Saki is still affected by the technique, we need to undo it. The only way I can do that is to use Kotoamatsukami to make her feelings for Menma disappear. Hopefully, after that, she'll come to her senses and stop being tormented by it." then I did as I intended. A few days after the Exam, I trained with Saki again. Determined to do what I wanted to do, I walked up to her and touched her shoulder and turned her towards me.

- Sh-shisui-kun? What's wrong?" she looked at me with a concerned look of surprise and asked Saki.

- Saki, I sincerely apologise to you for using this technique on you, but trust me, it's for your own good.

- Wh-?" after that, I activated my eyes and made her forget about the feelings for Menma that Inoichi put on her. After applying the Technique, Saki looked at me with a blank stare and passed out. I erased her memories of today too, so she won't remember anything.

- I hope you'll be alright....

***

Right at the gates of Konoha, there were two people standing at the gates and looking at the village.

- Heh heh, here we are back!" said a young red-haired boy about eight years old.

- Haa? You're so happy, didn't you enjoy your time with me so much~?" a teenage girl with long purple coloured hair said trying to tease the guy.

- That's not the point. It was a long journey, and I'm not used to it yet." the guy replied without changing his expression.

- Hmph! You're boring!" the girl said, pouting her lips and crossing her arms.

I've been on long term missions before, but this one seemed more intense, so I liked it better than usual. After passing through the gate, we stepped into the grounds of the home village. We then reported to the two Tokubetsu-jonin about our identities and mission objectives, showing scrolls with details of that very mission and a seal from the Hokage. After that, we walked the upper paths directly to the Hokage's residence and entered Hiruzen's office. We reported to him as well, and then we were safely separated, and I headed off in the direction of my home.

***

After waiting for the Red-Haired Man to leave, the girl put on a snake mask and was transported to Hiruzen's office by Shunshin.

- Report.

- Yes, Hokage-sama. During the mission, I managed to gain a positive reputation from Jinchuriki and gain his sympathy. The mission went smoothly, but on our return we encountered an A-rank Nukenin. His disarming was successful with the joint efforts of me and Jinchuriki, but then Demon decided to sell Nukenin's body possessing the secret technique of the Hidden Stone Village. Unfortunately after a thorough check, no details of the victim's learning of this technique could be found. Afterwards, as planned, we travelled to the village to sell Nukenin's body. But, during the sale, Jinchuriki asked the buyer for a map of all the places where similar bodies could be sold. After the buyer refused, he crushed us with his aura. It was probably Kyuubi's power, but it's not certain. There was a festival in the village that managed to get close to Jinchuriki, but still not enough for him to start trusting me. For some reason, all of my Genjutsu techniques that were supposed to affect his mind didn't work. Only the techniques that affected his senses were successful, but Kyubey's chakra quickly cancelled them out. The report is over.- the old man listened to his subordinate's report without taking the tube out of his mouth, and finally putting it aside, he spoke....

- Good. Don't worry about Kyubey. The boy can occasionally release Fox's chakra when he's angry or upset, and Kyubey also protects the boy's mind. About your assignment. As expected of you, Viper. You're doing a great job with it, but you need to hurry up. Danzo has decided to send his potential Kunoichi for Jinchuriki. Don't let Menma get attached to her, but be careful. Dismissed.

- Got it!" the girl disappeared just as she appeared, and the old head of the village began to ponder on his own, smoking a pipe...

- "Heheh, because of the Daimyo who was impressed by the boy's strength, I had to give him the rank of Chunin. But even if that didn't happen, the other feudal lords and nobles might also wonder why the winner who fought two other contestants at once, who ended up with the rank of Chunin, didn't get his rank and waistcoat. In any case, the only thing limiting Menma from receiving the title of Head of the Uzumaki Clan now was his age. When he reaches the age of thirteen, I will no longer have anything to charge him and strip him of that title. Until then, I need to make him as loyal to me and the village as possible. Perhaps I should make Danzo look guilty and tell him that his brother is alive? No, the Jinchuriki must not make contact." *Fuuuuuuf*- letting out a small puff of smoke, the old man brought the pipe to his mouth again. "More effort must be made to gain the trust and loyalty of both Uzumaki."

***

There was a boy running across the rooftops of the village, all dressed in black clothes with red casts. Even as a Chunin, Menma didn't wear his waistcoat and walked around in the same clothes as before, but many who have been to the Third Stage of the Chunin Exam know that this boy is already a Chunin and has quite a bit of power. When his house was only a few hundred metres away, he descended from the roof and decided to walk. The boy walked leisurely towards the house with one hand on his chin and the other supporting it. Menma was thinking about something and didn't seem to notice that there was someone waiting for him at the corner. It was a girl with long dark-coloured hair and red eyes with a pretty appearance and pale, aristocratic skin. She held a small cake in her hands and waited for the guy to get close enough. When Menma was almost at the corner, the girl made up her mind and stepped out, closing her eyes and holding the cake in front of her. The boy, without changing his expression or lowering his arms, jumped straight up and, doing a small somersault forward, jumped over the girl.

- Sorry!" opening her eyes, Misami saw only an empty street and a cake collapsed on the ground in front of her. She couldn't figure out where the red-haired man had gone and was casting her gaze all over the street. Finally, the girl thought to turn around and did so, watching the guy, who let her apology pass her ears and walked calmly towards his house. Misami didn't know what to do and decided to leave quickly so that the guy wouldn't notice her and think she was following him, because she'd have to do something else like that. - Shit! Why didn't I do it? The plan was simple and perfect. We'll have to think of something else." she said with a determined expression that looked funny on a little girl's face.

Stepping back a fair distance, Misami began to watch the guy's actions. But she lost him when he walked into the house. The girl wanted to get closer and follow him, but she ran into a barrier around Menma's house. All attempts to get through the barrier failed and after an hour of futile attempts, she gave up. Hiding near the barrier, she began to wait for Red-Haired to come out, but he didn't come out until late afternoon. Misami immediately turned all her attention to him and followed the boy who was strolling through the village. The first thing Menma did was to go into Yamanaka's flower shop, and the girl went in after him. She wanted to randomly bump into him and thank him for his help, but as soon as she stepped inside she saw that the guy had already bought something and was leaving the shop. Before she could speak, Menma was already out the door and left her standing at the threshold.

Misami didn't stand a pillar and went out after the guy and after spotting him a short distance away, she continued her pursuit. After that, Menma went into Ichiraku and ordered two portions of Ramen and the girl wanted to sit down with him, but as if guessing that, the guy took the food with him and left. Looking at the guy leaving, the owner of Teuchi's diner sighed sadly for some reason, and Misami noticed it, but she didn't think about it. She decided to act quickly, as the guy could go home and that would end her chances of meeting him today. The girl waited for him around every corner and made up all sorts of excuses to meet him, but Menma managed to ruin her plans and avoid meeting her every time, without seeming to notice her efforts. When the guy finally got to where he had been walking all this time, Misami stopped her attempts. Looking around, she realised that they were in the Konoha cemetery, where many dead Shinobi were buried. The girl was a little surprised by this and watched Menma's actions carefully at a great distance, as there was an open space here.

The red-haired man walked over to three graves close to each other. The guy sat down in front of two of the graves and took out everything he had time to buy today. He took out two bouquets of flowers, red and yellow, and placed them in front of the graves of his parents, Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki. Then, with a smile on his face, he placed two servings of Ramen next to each bouquet. He then took out the last thing he had prepared for this moment, a jug of fresh water, and leisurely doused the two graves. After all this was done, he folded his palms and, closing his eyes, stopped moving. Silently the guy sat like that and left only after an hour. Misami only quietly watched the guy the whole time and didn't know what to think anymore. When Menma left the Konoha cemetery, the girl followed him, still thinking about something.

***

Heh, I didn't like visiting graves on the anniversary of their deaths because it's also Naruto's birthday, so I mostly visited the week after. It's at times like this that it gets sad. Even though I know I'll resurrect them, I still feel like visiting their graves, probably because I miss them. After visiting my parents, I didn't know what to do, so I walked towards Hokage Mountain. I still have that habit. Sitting on Father's head, I watched the sunset receding into the horizon and thought about my parents. Suddenly I heard someone's loud scream, and it was very close. Feeling where and who it was coming from, I just sighed.

- "Heh heh, it's that girl again. What the hell does she want with me? She's been following me around all day, making me nervous. But why do I ask?" Her status, like Asami's, also states that she's a Honey Kunoichi, but of the Genin rank. Hiruzen, you bastard! Why put two Kunoichi in at once? I understand the need to put someone in Jinchuriki's inner circle, but why two? Asami's already wearing me out with her actions, and now this one. Heh heh heh, okay. It seems she fell down with 100% confidence that I would save her. I think it'll look suspicious if I don't save her. They might guess that I know who Asami and Misami are. So I'd better save her quickly. The fast processing of information thanks to the Nara and Uchiha genes is good, but not enough to calculate everything in a second, and she's falling pretty fast.

- Helpeeeeeee!!!!" she screamed as she fell. She was quite a distance away from the mountain, so she could have actually hurt herself in the fall. After finishing my musings, I jumped towards her, leaving the Kunai and fishing line stuck in the rock where I was sitting. Quickly reaching the falling girl, I picked her up using all the rules of rescuing a girl and pulled the fishing line towards me and flew back to where I was sitting. Dropping to the ground, I looked at the girl.

- Are you alright?" Misami looked up and hugged me.

- Thank you, Sempai! I don't know what I would have done without you! - I was numb after saying that.

- Sem-pai...Sem-pai...Sem-pai...Sem-pai...Sem-pai..." I mumbled frantically to myself, unable to say anything else.

- Sempai? Is something wrong?" she asked me worriedly, looking me straight in the eyes. Well, I caught another numbness from her repeating the word. "Sempai." Aaah! It felt so good to hear that!!! In a flash, I remembered all the anime I'd watched and manga I'd read, and I remembered how I'd dreamed of hearing words like that.

- Yes! I mean, no! Nothing! I mean... anyway, forget it.

- Okay, Sempai. Every time she used that word to me, I got a wave of goosebumps all over my body.

- What's your name? I decided to ask. Yes, maybe I didn't want to talk to her at first... but if I avoided her, I might be suspected of something. Exactly!!! So I have to fall for her trying to get close to me. It won't stop me anyway! Right!!!?

- My name is Misami Fukui, Sempai. Nice to meet you. Last time we met didn't turn out so well, but I wanted to thank you for that time too, Sempai. Thank you!" I flinched and smiled wider and wider every time she said it, which she noticed and... when I finally smiled, my skill kicked in.

Reputation with Misami Fukui +2000.

- I see. I'm Menma Uzumaki. Listen, why do you call me S-sempai? How old are you?

- I'm 11. But I call Sempai Sempai, not because Sempai might be older than me, but because Sempai already got the rank of Chunin, so that means you're my oldest.

- L-okay. Well, if you're okay, then I guess I'd better get going.

- Wait! Sempai, you want to leave me alone?" she said with the sweetest face possible, and I thought her eyes were already watering. Are all the Honey Kunoichi being trained to have those Cat in Boots eyes or what?! Wait, then how does Mina know that trick?

- N-no, it's just... wait, what's the big deal? - I came to my senses and really wondered about it. She's a rank Genin and even though she's small, she shouldn't be afraid of being alone here. And she seemed to realise she'd made a mistake and been caught acting, but surprisingly she quickly found something to say.

- It's just that I've hurt my leg a bit and it's going to be difficult to get to the hospital on my own.

- You were flying in the air so you couldn't hurt yourself, and I picked you up before you landed.

- I hurt my leg before I fell, Sempai!

- How so? I made a sceptical face. She's pretty good, but I can tell if she's lying, I can tell with my Sharingan. And I know what she's doing and why she's doing it.

- The Bears came running after me. There were a lot of them, so I couldn't handle them alone, so....

- Okay, okay, you don't have to go on, I get it.-there's really no point in me bothering her. I'd rather let Hiruzen think she's really in my inner circle than try to make things worse. It's not hard for me to pretend to be close to her, and Asami too.

- Really? Thanks, Sempai! You're the best!" she shouted, hugging me again.

- Okay. I'll take you to the hospital. Hold on tight.

- Mm-hmm!

***

After taking Misami to the hospital, I checked on Naruto and went home. Already at home, I started thinking about how I could become the head of the Uzumaki Clan. After some thought, I realised that with my reputation and age, I wouldn't be able to do it.

- Shit, what would I do then?

By the time Naruto is six years old, I should already have enough strength and reputation to get him out of the orphanage without a problem. As I suspected, the academy changed its rules and now accepts students from the age of six instead of five. Naruto is now three years old, which means I only have three years to get a good enough reputation and strength. But with the way people treat me, I have to at least save the entire village from imminent doom to gain their acceptance and respect. But...

- Fuck them, not save them!!!

That's an option, but I don't feel like saving these people at all! I'd rather do the imminent doom myself than save them. But that's not an option. Ha-ah-ah, this is so stressful.

- Kurama, do you have any ideas?

- I have one, and it's a good one," my inner beast, the Nine-tailed Fox, said. I couldn't hide everything from him, so he knows about most of my abilities and even the system, but not much.

- Oh, really?! What's that? Kurama's not stupid and won't give bad advice. In all the time I've known him, I've grown a little attached to him.

- Create another person who can get a good reputation with the village and become the head of the Uzumaki clan. He will also be able to gain Hiruzen's trust and follow you and Naruto on his orders. I think that's the easiest way out.

- Create a human? How do you envision that? I'm not a scientist or anything like that to create artificial life.

- What do you need that Nukenin's technology for?

- The one from the Stone? You mean fission?

- Yeah, you said you could find a scroll with any technique, so what's stopping you from learning this one?

- The perfect clone. Hmm, I guess with Metamorphism, it shouldn't be too hard to make him look different. That's a thought. But my powers would be halved.

- Don't worry, you don't work hard enough on Chunin's missions as it is, but you'll have time to recover.

- That's true.- And if anyone strong attacks, let them try to damage the Strongest Tail's Jinchuriki!" the Fox said proudly.

- You're right, Kurama." I smiled at my Tails.

When Fox mentioned Nukenin, I remembered the sale of his body. And then a full plan of action formed in my head. I smiled and after spending a lot of Soul Crystals, I bought Tsuchikage Mu's Body Division Technique and began to study it.

***

Congratulations!

The level of Body Division Technique has been raised.

Body Fission Technique 49→Body Fission Technique 50.

Again, the technique could only be used by me. Clones couldn't do it, so it took two months to get this Technique to an acceptable level! Body division cut the level of my techniques, the power of my Specialities, characteristics and affinity by half. I didn't think it was possible to cut a person's physical characteristics, but I guess that was one of the disadvantages of the Player's Body. It was a significant weakening and made me feel uncomfortable every time. Unfortunately, the clone did not receive my mana-related skills and Features, but thankfully it received the same connection to Kurama as my clones. After finishing training this Technique, I proceeded with my plan. And it consisted of the following. I will use Metamorphism on myself and make the body of a twenty-two year old adult who looks like Uzumaki. Then I'll use the Body Division Technique and that'll make a clone that looks like an adult Uzumaki. Then I'll buy all sorts of potions for accelerated development and the right techniques to strengthen my Clone at the Auction. After that, I'll give him the money left from his parents and send him outside the Village.

At this time, the Clone will have to maximise his strength and become a Bounty Hunter. He will be gathering the Reputation of a strong man from the Uzumaki Clan who is trying to rebuild his clan and is looking for other Uzumaki to do so. He will also be collecting High Level Soul Crystals for me and making as much money as he can, but only for the sake of explaining why he will have so much. All of this he will have to finish in three years and return to Konoha. With Kurama's support and potions, I will create a strong Kage level Shinobi. Hiruzen will want such a strong Ninja in his village and will have no problem letting him become the head of the Uzumaki Clan. The clone will have to gain Sarutobi's trust and take custody of Naruto and me. Then I can take my little brother and become the head of the Uzumaki Clan.

- Let's go! Metamorphism. Body Fission Technique!!!- I felt half of my essence detach from me and a tall, handsome, red-eyed and red-haired guy of eighteen appeared in front of me.

- I did it. - he said, looking at me.

- Aha! Now all that's left is to get you fully equipped!

- Yeah. It's gonna be a long journey. By the way, don't forget to give me all the scrolls from Father's vault.

- You read my mind, I was just about to do that!

- I'm sure you did. We'll spend all the Crystals on potions and techniques from the Auction, are you sure you can do without them?

- Well, you'll cover the cost. In the Shinobi world, there are countless Nukenin and ordinary killers who deserve to die. Just don't lose yourself... by the way, what's your name?

- We haven't thought about that yet. Hmm, how about just no name? I think if I become famous, people will come up with a name for me.

- Show-off. You're so full of pathos. All right, let's start sealing up all your stuff.

- Yeah! - after that, we sealed all the potions, money, scrolls, weapons and such into scrolls. Still, the clone doesn't have an inventory, so he'll have to use the usual methods. After doing all these things, we used the Light Refraction Technique and left Konoha. After getting a good distance away, I looked at the full moon that was shining brightly in the sky along with the stars. The clone also stopped and looked there as well. Then, I turned around to the clone, who did the same and said...

- You be careful out there. Don't ruin our clan's reputation, or mum will be furious after the revival.

- And you take care of Mina and our silly little brother. I'll miss them.

- Trust me," I said, giving the clone my fist.

- I have faith in you," he said and bumped fists with me.

- Stop with the dramatic goodbyes! You're disturbing my sleep! And anyway, I can give either of you the other's words at any moment!!!

- Don't spoil the moment, Kurama.

- Yes! How can we not have dramatic goodbyes? It ruins the pattern!

- People, I don't understand your logic.

- Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!
