Reborn As Yamcha With The Cultivations System

Chapter 15: Raditz

A few months has passed, at it was time for Z to start, so far Bulma still believe in Yamcha lie in he can see the future, right now everyone was in Kame house, as even Piccolo was there after thr whole mess with demon world and everything with Garlic Jr, he was officially welcomed as Z fighter, even Tenshinhan was there.

As Gaku arrived with Gohan and everyone meet the young kid for the first time.

As Bulma looked at Yamcha as she wishper. "So everything going as in the future sight".

Yamcha wishlist as he looked at her. "Yeah, it is, it is only a matter of time, I just hope we don't kill him".

Bulma then looked at him. "Seriously how did you get this power".

Yamcha curse to him self, he never thought of how he would explain his meta knowledge, as he asked for the system help

[ Um will, Good Luck ]

Yamcha sighed internally, feeling the weight of Bulma's curiosity. He knew that his "meta knowledge" was something that couldn't be easily explained without causing some serious confusion. But he had to come up with something.

"Well," Yamcha began, rubbing the back of his neck, "it's... a long story. Let's just say I've got some... insights into things, like a vision of what's coming." He tried to sound casual, hoping Bulma wouldn't press too much further. "Kind of like a sixth sense, I guess."

Bulma stared at him, her eyes narrowing as she processed the response. "A sixth sense? Hmm... that's not exactly reassuring, but I'll take it for now. Just don't go around predicting too much or I'll think you've lost it."

Yamcha chuckled nervously, trying to steer the conversation in a different direction. "You know, I think Goku's going to make sure we're all busy for the next little while. You saw how excited he was when Gohan showed up. He's been training that kid for what feels like forever."

As the group mingled, Goku was energetically introducing Gohan to everyone, proud as could be. The small boy seemed a little shy but was clearly eager to be a part of the group. Piccolo, standing off to the side with his arms crossed, was eyeing the situation carefully, his mind undoubtedly working through the best ways to train the boy.

Meanwhile, Yamcha's mind was elsewhere. The moment he had been dreading was almost upon them: Raditz's arrival. His system had been keeping track of the timeline, and with the Saiyan's impending arrival, it wouldn't be long before everything changed.

Yamcha took a deep breath, looking out towards the horizon. The battle ahead wasn't just about power—it was about making sure everyone survived and didn't fall into the same traps that were set in the original timeline.

His thoughts were interrupted when the system spoke up.

[ Raditz will arrive within 12 hours, Host. Prepare accordingly. ]

Yamcha clenched his fist. "Alright, I've got some time to get things in order."

He turned back to the group, seeing Goku laughing with Gohan. Piccolo was still keeping a close eye on everything, and even Tien and Krillin seemed ready for whatever was to come. Yamcha knew that while he could alter the timeline, some events were inevitable. Raditz's arrival was one of them.

But this time, things were going to be different. He wouldn't just let history repeat itself.

[ Host, your cultivation has reached a new level. Do you wish to see your stats? ]

Yamcha quickly checked his status.

Power Level: 400,000

Ki Mastery: Advanced

He smirked at the improvement. "Not bad. Still not quite where I need to be, but it's enough to handle Raditz—at least for a while."

[ Host, you are still far behind in power compared to the coming threats. ]

Yamcha let out a long sigh. "Tell me about it. But I'll cross that bridge when I get to it."

He knew Raditz would bring an immense challenge, especially with the information he had on the Saiyan's strength. But Yamcha wasn't the same weakling who used to run away from fights. He had power now, and with that power, he had the ability to change the course of this timeline.

With a final glance at the horizon, Yamcha stepped forward, determined to take control of what was to come.

"Alright, let's make sure we're all ready for whatever comes next." Yamcha said to the group, trying to rally everyone together.

Bulma walked up next to him, looking up with a skeptical smile. "You sure you're not hiding anything, Yamcha? You're acting a little too confident lately."

Yamcha gave her a wink. "Trust me, everything's going to be just fine."

The tension in the air was thick, but for now, the group was at peace, unaware of the storm that was about to hit.

And then, in the distance, the unmistakable sound of a powerful energy blast echoed through the sky.

Yamcha looked up, his heart rate quickening. It's time.

The sky suddenly seemed to ripple with an ominous energy, and Yamcha's senses immediately heightened. He had felt it the moment Raditz had arrived—a surge of power unlike anything else in this timeline. It was unmistakable. The Saiyan had landed.

Yamcha looked toward Goku, who had a puzzled look on his face, but then quickly shifted into a more serious expression. He must've sensed it too.

"Looks like he's here," Yamcha muttered under his breath.

The others had also noticed the energy shift. Piccolo's eyes narrowed, his hands ready to spring into action. Tien, Krillin, and the rest of the group were standing by, each of them preparing themselves for the battle to come.

"Raditz, huh?" Goku said, a serious tone replacing his usual cheerful one. "I've never heard of him before, but if he's got that kind of power... he must be a threat."

Yamcha clenched his fists. "He is. And he's not the only one coming."

Goku looked at Yamcha, a little confused. "What do you mean?"

Before Yamcha could respond, a shadow loomed overhead. The massive form of Raditz descended from the sky, landing with a powerful crash, sending dust and debris flying in all directions. His spiky hair and armor were unmistakable, and his energy radiated with an overwhelming force.

"So, this is Earth," Raditz said, his voice dripping with disdain. "I've come to claim my brother, Kakarot, for the glory of the Saiyan race."

Yamcha's eyes narrowed. The last thing he wanted was a confrontation with Raditz, but he knew it was inevitable. He had the advantage of knowing what was going to happen, but Raditz was still a formidable opponent, especially now that his power was higher than it was in the original timeline.

Goku stood tall and looked at his brother. "I don't know who you are, but I'm not going anywhere with you."

Raditz's eyes flashed in anger. "Fool! You were meant to conquer planets for the Saiyan Empire, not waste away on this insignificant rock. You will come with me, whether you like it or not!"

Raditz immediately powered up, releasing an energy wave that shook the ground beneath them. Yamcha immediately raised his guard, ready for what was coming next.

"Alright, everyone, stay back," Yamcha said, his voice calm but commanding. "This one's mine."

Goku looked at him, a little surprised. "What do you mean, Yamcha? You can take him?"

Yamcha's grin was confident. "Just watch."

Yamcha shot forward, using his speed to close the distance between him and Raditz before the Saiyan could react. He focused all his energy into a single powerful punch, aimed straight at Raditz's midsection.

Raditz barely managed to raise his arm in time to block the strike, but the force of Yamcha's punch sent a shockwave through the air. Raditz staggered back, surprised by the power behind the blow.

Yamcha smirked, his confidence growing. "I'm not the same Yamcha you've heard about."

Raditz growled in frustration. "You're stronger than I expected, but you're still nothing compared to me!"

Raditz powered up again, his aura flaring wildly as he unleashed a barrage of energy blasts aimed directly at Yamcha. Yamcha grinned and activated his Energy Shield, the barrier shimmering to life just in time to deflect the blasts. The force of the attack pushed him back slightly, but he stood firm, not even breathing hard.

Yamcha quickly counterattacked, using his speed to close the distance once more. "Wolf Fang Fist!" He unleashed a series of rapid punches and kicks, each one landing with enough force to send shockwaves through the ground. Raditz managed to dodge a few, but Yamcha was faster than he expected, landing several solid blows on the Saiyan's body.

Raditz was starting to show signs of fatigue. He gritted his teeth in anger and finally launched a powerful Ki Blast at Yamcha, trying to end the fight with one devastating move. Yamcha, however, had been expecting this. He powered up his Cultivation Burst and dodged the blast, then retaliated with a direct hit to Raditz's chest.

"Take this!" Yamcha shouted as his fist collided with Raditz's chest, sending the Saiyan flying into a nearby mountain with a massive crash.

The others watched in awe, especially Goku. "Yamcha... he actually took him down a notch," Goku muttered, astonished.

Piccolo's expression was one of quiet approval. "You're stronger than I thought."

Raditz slowly rose from the rubble, visibly shaken but far from defeated. His eyes burned with fury. "You... you're not going to make this easy, are you?"

Yamcha took a step forward, smirking confidently. "Nah, not really."

With a deep breath, Raditz powered up again, his body crackling with energy. "If you want to play this game, then fine. I'll show you why I'm the superior Saiyan!"

Yamcha's smile faded slightly. "Alright, let's finish this."

As Raditz prepared for his next move, Yamcha's mind raced. He knew he was stronger than Raditz right now, but he also knew that Raditz had a few tricks up his sleeve. If he wasn't careful, things could turn ugly quickly.

[ Host, your current strength level is more than enough to defeat Raditz. However, the situation may escalate with the arrival of further threats. Consider your strategy carefully. ]

Yamcha nodded, focusing. "I've got it. I'll finish this fight."

With that, he shot forward once again, the ground beneath his feet cracking with the force of his speed. This time, Raditz didn't have time to react. Yamcha unleashed a devastating Spirit Ball, charging it with all his remaining energy. The massive energy sphere collided with Raditz head-on, exploding in a burst of light and power.

When the dust settled, Raditz was on the ground, severely injured but still breathing. He slowly struggled to stand, his armor cracked and scorched.

"I... I can't believe this," Raditz groaned, his pride shattered. "How... how could I lose to someone like you?"

Yamcha stood tall, breathing heavily but with a confident smirk. "Because I'm not just some punchline in a story anymore. I'm Yamcha, and I'm not going down without a fight."

Raditz's expression darkened as he realized his time on Earth was running out. He was no match for Yamcha now.

Yamcha then looked at Raditz. "So now what will you do".

Raditz grunted as he made a Powerball with his had. "You see Yamcha, my and Kakarot father was Greath father, but what he also was, he was great scientists and so he made this.

But the Yamcha knocked him out, he was not ready to deal with a Giant monkey Raditz, as everyone looked at him.

The atmosphere was tense as everyone gathered around the defeated Raditz. He had fallen unconscious after Yamcha's brutal assault, but there was no time to relax. The Saiyan's warning about a Powerball and a potential transformation still loomed over them, and Yamcha knew that things were only going to escalate from here.

Krillin's curiosity got the better of him. "Was I the only one who wanted to see what that orb was going to do?" he said, eyeing the small sphere that Raditz had dropped before losing consciousness.

Goku, always eager for a good fight or any new development, chimed in, "Yeah, same here. I thought he was gonna turn into something big and scary."

Piccolo, ever the realist and a little annoyed, crossed his arms and shook his head. "You two really do have two brain cells between you, huh? We should focus on what's coming next, not on some random orb."

Yamcha couldn't help but smirk at the bickering between Krillin and Goku, but his mind was focused on the bigger picture. Raditz had warned them about something far more dangerous than his own abilities—something much worse, in fact. Yamcha had already planned for what might happen, especially with the impending arrival of Vegeta and Nappa.

He looked down at Raditz's unconscious body, then at the group. "Alright, enough of the small talk. We've got bigger problems coming."

Krillin looked puzzled. "What do you mean?"

Yamcha sighed and began to explain. "Raditz wasn't just here to recruit Goku. He was also here to set the stage for Vegeta and Nappa. We've already got the knowledge of their next moves, and frankly, I don't need to hear that Powerball noise again or waste time with Frieza's lackeys. We need to be ready for them when they get here, and that means making sure Raditz doesn't get up."

He glanced down at Raditz's scouter, which was cracked and mostly broken, but still transmitting some signals. Yamcha casually picked it up and tossed it into the air, crushing it with his bare hands. "Frieza's not going to know about our movements anymore. We need to keep things low-key and get prepared."

"Yeah, but what about that... giant monkey transformation?" Goku asked, scratching his head.

Yamcha stared at him, realizing that Goku still hadn't fully grasped the gravity of the situation. "The Oozaru transformation. Raditz can turn into a giant ape using a Powerball, which would amplify his strength tenfold. We have to deal with him before he does that."

Goku looked at the knocked-out Saiyan, then back at Yamcha. "So, do you think we can stop him?"

Yamcha paused, considering their options. "We don't have much time. It's possible to defeat him, but we need chains or something to restrain him, at least temporarily."

Piccolo's sharp eyes scanned their surroundings. "I can restrain him with a special technique. But first, we need to figure out how to deal with the incoming threat of Nappa and Vegeta. We can't risk having Raditz transforming when those two arrive."

Yamcha turned to the group. "Right. We'll need to be strategic about this. Piccolo, Goku, Krillin—you guys focus on getting ready for when the other two show up. I'll take care of Raditz, and then we can strategize our next move."

"But how are we gonna keep Raditz down?" Krillin asked.

Yamcha looked around and then smirked. "I've got something in mind. You guys just make sure we don't get caught off guard."

With the plan in place, Yamcha acted quickly. He knew that Raditz's transformation into the Oozaru was something they couldn't allow to happen. Fortunately, with the knowledge from his past life, he had a few tricks up his sleeve that no one else knew about.

Turning to Goku, Yamcha said, "Listen, Goku, I know you're strong, but you're still going to need help when Vegeta and Nappa show up. I need you to stick with Piccolo and Krillin. Don't go off alone, and we'll have a better shot at taking them down."

Goku nodded, finally understanding the urgency. "Got it, Yamcha. We'll stick together."

Yamcha turned his attention back to Raditz, carefully assessing the unconscious Saiyan. "You're not going anywhere anytime soon, Raditz."

The team quickly set up a temporary containment area, with Piccolo preparing to use his Special Beam Cannon if needed. Yamcha, however, had a different approach in mind. With a focused effort, he tapped into the power of the Meta Knowledge that the system had granted him.

[ Host, the Dragon Ball Model: All has been activated. You now have access to items and abilities that will help in situations like these. ]

Yamcha smiled as a brilliant idea came to him. He focused, and from the system's catalog, he pulled out a special set of Energy Restraints—high-tech chains capable of suppressing a Saiyan's energy. He walked over to Raditz and carefully wrapped the chains around him, ensuring the restraints were locked tight. It wasn't permanent, but it would hold him for long enough.

"That should do it," Yamcha said, looking satisfied. "Now, we wait."

As he and the team settled into position, Yamcha felt the familiar surge of power—Vegeta and Nappa were getting closer. He could already sense their energy signatures on the horizon.

Yamcha turned to Goku, Krillin, and Piccolo. "Get ready, guys. It's showtime."

With the final preparations made, the group braced for the fight to come. Raditz may have been taken care of—for now—but the real challenge was still on its way. The fight for Earth's survival was only just beginning.
