Chapter 33: Chapter 32 - A Binding Vow

"Don't you think we should make some plans, Gojo?" Utahime said.

"No, it will be fine so don't worry. I'm strongest after all." Gojo said with a grin.

"We're talking about prison realm!" Utahime tried to make her point but Gojo wasn't having any of it.

"Nakamura, why aren't you saying anything?"

"I don't like making plans and sticking to it." Sachiko replied nonchalantly.

"But that's not the point!"

"It will be fine."

Utahime didn't know what to say anymore. It turned out she didn't need to because Gojo said, "Keep this whole deal a secret, will you? I think it's better to not let anyone know Kokichi's still alive and we learned part of their plan from him. There's this whole thing about another traitor after all, we don't know who to trust at this point."

Well, Utahime had to agree to that. Gojo had a point.

"It's fine if you don't trust me but I still think you should make a plan, Gojo." Utahime said before she left.

"So, that leaves Kokichi in your care." Sachiko said.

"Well, I know a place where Kokichi could stay." Gojo said.

"That's good" Sachiko said.

So, Gojo took Kokichi to the hiding place but he made sure Kokichi couldn't run off on his own. Sachiko naturally followed him. When they were alone again , Sachiko turned to Gojo and said, "I really hate making plans but we might need a plan."

"I know." Gojo replied.

"I looked up a few possibilities but it's pretty much blurry and uncertain. I can't come to a conclusion which could end up as a reality. So, I think we should prepare for a worst case scenario just in case and make preparations according to that," Sachiko said.

"The worse case scenerio being me getting sealed?" Gojo asked.

Sachiko gave a slow nod.

"I see." Gojo said quietly. "So, what do you have in mind?"

"If I push myself, I might be able to do something more. I guess it's worth it if we figure something more certain, right?"

Gojo frowned at that , "But it's not without consequences, right? Then, don't. At least not until you figure out a way to not harm yourself," He cupped her cheeks and murmured, "I said back then that I will protect you. So, I'm not going to let you harm yourself, Sachiko."

"The whole Jujutsu world would be in chaos if you get sealed. That's why I need to do this." Sachiko insisted. She knew Gojo was trying to keep his word and protect her but all she could think of was how she could prevent this whole deal about Gojo getting sealed.

"I know you don't care about the rest of the world, Sachiko. You want to make sure I don't get sealed just for my sake, not the world's. I know that," Gojo said, retaining his eye contact with her.

"Jeez, it's like you really had me all figured out. " Sachiko let out a nervous chuckle.

"Don't worry, Now that I know what to expect from them, I won't screw up." Gojo assured her.

"Still, we need to prepare. Do you have any plans in mind?" She asked.

"Hmm.." Gojo thought for a moment then asked, "If you figure out the state of the battle and details of the incident , will you be able to see more detailed possibilities without overwhelming yourself?"

"I can if I have enough information to refer to. That way, I can limit the possibilities I'll be seeing so that I won't overwhelm myself." Sachiko replied.

"That's good. You can be a trump card." Gojo said, "I'm guessing I'll be the only one to deal with them when the time comes so I'll fight them. As we've heard from the special grade curse and Kokichi, they will find an opening to seal me while fighting with me. They might also have a hidden plan or change of plans and of course, that's where you come in. I can provide you the details you need and then you can tell me what to look out for."

"Right, so we need a communication channel." Sachiko then suggested, "Muta Kokichi's cursed technique is puppet manipulation, right? Maybe we can use puppets."

"Hmm..That's a great idea." Gojo agreed.

"Then, I'll make a binding vow with him so that we won't need to worry about his betrayal." Sachiko said.

"And what would you give him in return?"

"Let's see what he propose first? We can just make another plan if he refuses or proposes unreasonable conditions."

Gojo nodded, "Alright."

----------------------

"So, you're saying I need to help you in Shibuya." Kokichi repeated what Sachiko said.

"Yeah, that's what I propose. What do you want in exchange?"

"If I say all I wanted was to go to school with my own body and meet all the Kyoto students in person, you can't possibly agree to that, right?"

"I mean you were a mole. There's no way we could've got you free without any consequences."

"I figured that. Then, can you make sure no one from Kyoto school gets hurt seriously during the Shibuya incident?" Kokichi asked.

"Definitely not my strongest suit because I love drama but yeah, should be do-able. Maybe I'll just trap them or lock them up till the incident's over." Sachiko murmured.

"Wait, what ?" Kokichi blinked.

Sachiko smiled.

"Don't tell me you really plan on doing that." Kokichi said.

"Oh, why not? Simple and effective. Besides, I need to be trying damn hard to find which possibility is most likely to happen so I can't keep an eye on them."

"But,..."

"No buts. Come on, let's finish the binding vow." Sachiko insisted.

Gojo chuckled at the side. It was so damn chaotic and he was loving every second of it.

Maybe it wasn't so bad, after all.

Maybe things could go right and he could settle things in Shibuya.
