Reincarnated as Ash: A Pokémon Tale

Chapter 18: Viridian Forest

The next morning, Ash woke to the soft light streaming through the window of the Pokémon Center. He stretched and glanced at Pikachu, still sleeping soundly beside him. A smile crossed his face as he remembered the events of the previous day.

After getting out of bed and freshening up, Ash decided it was time to head toward Viridian Forest. Before leaving, however, he wanted to check the status of all his Pokémon.

Sitting at the small desk in the room, Ash opened his bag and pulled out his Arc Pokédex. With a few taps, the screen lit up, displaying a summary of his Pokémon.

"Let's see what we've got," he said to himself.

After reviewing his Pokémon's status, Ash felt a sense of satisfaction. He knew they were ready for the challenges ahead. However, he realized it was time to take care of some other essentials. "I think it's time for breakfast!" he said, heading down to the Pokémon Center's dining area.

Once there, Ash enjoyed a hearty breakfast, fueling up for the day ahead. After finishing his meal, he gathered his Pokémon around him.

"Alright, everyone, let's make sure you're all well-fed for our training!" He pulled out some Pokémon food from his bag and distributed it among his team.

Once everyone was fed and satisfied, Ash cleaned up the area and took a deep breath. "Alright, team! Let's head towards Viridian Forest and start our training!"

As they made their way toward the forest, Ash picked up his Arc Pokédex and asked "Hey, how can Pikachu learn Floaty Fall and Zippy Zap?"

The device beeped, and the familiar voice chimed in. "To learn Floaty Fall, Pikachu can use an Air Balloon item during battle. This allows it to float briefly and then launch itself down for the attack. For Zippy Zap, Pikachu just needs to master Volt Tackle; using it without recoil can help unlock the move."

"That sounds easy enough!" Ash exclaimed, excited by the straightforward strategies. He couldn't wait to help Pikachu learn these moves and enhance their battles together

Feeling inspired by Rotom's advice, Ash recalled something important. "Wait a minute! I remember the shop was unlocked when I got Pikachu!" He quickly opened the shop interface on the Arc Pokédex.

The screen displayed a wide array of items, each one clearly labeled. Ash scanned through the list, noting the useful gear available. "Wow, they have everything! Potions, Poké Balls, and even training items!

As he browsed, Ash spotted the Air Balloon. When he clicked on it, the window instantly updated, displaying the item along with its price. Below the description, the benefits were clearly outlined.

"Perfect! Just what I need," Ash said. He also noticed a list of other items available for purchase, including Potions, Poké Balls, and various TMs.

After browsing a bit longer, Ash made a few key purchases: the Air Balloon and TM 54: False Swipe. He completed the transaction, and his Arc Pokédex updated to reflect his new balance.

Once he finished shopping, Ash pulled the items from the system bag. "Here you go, Pikachu," he said, securely fastening the Air Balloon to Pikachu's back. "With this, you'll be able to learn the Floty Float move! and It'll help us dodge Ground-type attacks with ease."

Pikachu chirped happily, clearly excited about the new addition. Ash chose to keep the Light Ball for now, confident it would prove useful later.

Just like that they entered the lush greenery of Viridian Forest, Ash felt a sense of calm wash over him. The air was filled with the gentle sounds of rustling leaves and distant Pokémon cries, creating a perfect atmosphere for training.

As Ash began battling wild Pokémon with all his Pokémon, they ventured deeper into the forest.

With a content smile, he thought to himself, This is just the beginning of our journey. We're going to be unstoppable!
