Chapter 13: Future Plans

Kei and I stood quietly, observing as all the androids emerged from their pods. They were completely nude, their eyes fixed on me with a curious intensity for what felt like an eternity. After a few minutes, Nox approached, kneeling on one knee while keeping his head raised.

"I thank you, young master Maxius, for creating me and my brothers and sisters. We are here to serve you faithfully, to support your ambitions, and to help bring your vision to life in every possible way. Our loyalty is unwavering, and we stand ready to face any challenge or undertake any mission you assign to us."

Following Nox's lead, the other androids knelt and bowed their heads in unison. This confirmed that my method of starting from scratch was the correct approach—I ensured their loyalty without resorting to unethical means, such as kidnapping and repurposing people like Dr. Gero.

Feeling uncomfortable with their nudity, I quickly instructed them to get dressed. They nodded without hesitation and dispersed, each heading to designated areas of the lab to find clothing. An hour later, they returned, now dressed in attire that not only suited their individual styles but also hinted at their unique roles and personalities. Nox, clad in a dark, combat-ready outfit, exuded a commanding presence. Eva opted for a sleek, elegant ensemble that emphasized her intellectual aura, while Riku chose a more casual yet practical attire, reflecting his carefree yet vigilant nature. Each of their choices showcased their innate understanding of themselves and the tasks they would soon undertake.

Once everyone was ready, I gathered them around a round table I had installed in a separate room of my lab. Without wasting any time, I began outlining my plans.

"You were all programmed with information about my family, friends, the current state of the three factions, and the political climate in the underworld. I assume you can access this data accurately?"

"Yes," they responded in unison.

"Good. Then you understand why I cannot grow or pursue my goals while remaining in the underworld or as part of any of the three factions. First, the political divisions in the underworld, coupled with my family status, create significant obstacles. Various factions within the underworld are constantly vying for power, and aligning with any single faction would entangle me in political conflicts that would detract from my objectives. Additionally, my family's prominent status further complicates matters, as their influence attracts constant scrutiny.

Second, devils share the underworld with other powerful factions, such as the fallen angels and angels, who monitor each other closely to maintain the fragile balance of power. Any significant advancements I make could be perceived as a potential threat, risking diplomatic fallout and possibly provoking hostile actions. These factors combined make it impossible for me to freely develop and execute my plans in such an environment."

"What does young master Maxius suggest?" asked Nox.

"The solution is simple. I plan to leave the underworld and establish my own base in the human world, free from surveillance. The downside is that I must part ways with my family, as they would never allow me to operate independently without supervision or within a controlled environment. However, I will relocate my base to the dungeon once its core becomes active. When that happens, I will have full control over everything that transpires within the dungeon, ensuring that it remains a secure and self-sustaining stronghold for our operations."

I continued, "I plan to leave in five days. I've already informed Katsumi of my intentions. During my travels with Kei and Katsumi, I will focus on expanding my peerage and establishing multiple bases and industries to fund my projects. Each of you has been assigned critical tasks to support this plan."

Turning to Ko and Luna, I said, "You two will stay behind to protect and train Rias and Millicas.

Ko, your responsibility is to watch over Millicas, ensuring his safety and helping with his training."

"Yes, young master," Ko affirmed.

"Luna, your primary duty is to safeguard my sister, Rias, when she faces situations beyond her ability to handle. Additionally, you may only train her and her peerage once she annuls her engagement to that fried chicken."

"Understood, young master," Luna responded.

"Now, I have three bases of operations planned for the human world. The first is a sky island. This will serve as our main base, providing a secluded environment for training, research, and experimentation. The island will be equipped with advanced technological and magical facilities, ensuring that our work remains undisturbed by external forces. Additionally, sky islands are known for offering breathtaking sunsets and unobstructed views of the stars, making it an ideal location for both strategic operations and relaxation. The isolation will also ensure maximum security, making it a perfect refuge in case of emergencies."

Turning to Goro, I said, "I want you to focus on constructing the sky island first."

"Understood," Goro acknowledged.

"The second base is an auction house, designed to sell rare artifacts, enchanted items, and unique creations to various mythological factions and supernatural communities. This auction house must be completely untraceable, employing both advanced cloaking technology and high-level magic to conceal its location and movements. It will be capable of teleporting to different strategic locations around the world, ensuring maximum security and flexibility.

The auction house will serve not only as a commercial enterprise but also as a means to establish political influence and cultivate valuable alliances across various realms. Our special products, including rare artifacts and Linage Fruits, will be the main attractions. To maintain exclusivity and high demand, we will host a grand auction every three years, where only pre-selected and vetted participants will be allowed entry."

I placed a fruit on the table—an irregularly shaped, swirl-covered fruit. The androids stared at it in surprise, recognizing its significance from their programmed knowledge.

"This is a Linage Fruit, inspired by the devil fruits from the One Piece world but without the seawater weakness. Once consumed, it grants the user a hereditary ability that can be passed down to their descendants. However, it has no effect on gods and may cause indigestion if they attempt to eat it."

I continued, "For this year's grand auction, we will offer a select number of Linage Fruits based on paramecia devil fruits and three logia fruits. Six years from now, we plan to introduce five Linage Fruits inspired by mythical zoan types. I'm eager to witness the reactions of the five principal clans once they discover the scope and rarity of our offerings."

"Riku, you will oversee the auction house's protection. Eva, you will manage its operations."

"Understood," Eva said, while Riku leaned back in his chair, nodding in agreement.

Eri raised a concern. "But young master, wouldn't introducing these fruits disrupt the balance of power and the magical community?"

"Don't worry," I reassured her. "Most of the fruits we auction won't significantly alter the balance, as their users will require extensive training to unlock their full potential. This ensures that only those with the dedication to hone their abilities will pose any significant influence.

Additionally, we maintain full control over the distribution of these fruits. Each fruit will be carefully tracked, and their sale will be limited to trusted buyers who meet our stringent criteria. Furthermore, I have no intention of introducing mythical fruits until our third auction, six years from now, to minimize any immediate power shifts in the world.

Lastly, despite my efforts, I've found it impossible to create fruits based on gods. Every attempt resulted in failure, either producing unstable effects or complete duds, so there's no risk of divine-level power entering circulation."

"Our final base is a hotel and casino resort on an island modeled after the Sabaody Archipelago. This island will serve as our commercial hub, offering various shops, attractions, and luxurious accommodations for guests from different realms. The resort will feature high-end facilities, including enchanted casinos, exclusive dining experiences, and entertainment venues showcasing performers from various mythological factions. Additionally, specialized training grounds and relaxation zones will be available to cater to elite clientele.

We will also introduce a new product here—Iron Blood Sake, brewed from magicule-infused rice, renowned for its exceptional strength and unique flavor profile. This sake will be marketed as a premium beverage, exclusive to our resort, further enhancing its allure among both human and supernatural patrons."

I addressed Eri and Stella. "You two will manage the island resort. Your primary objective will be to ensure the smooth operation of the resort, maintain high standards for all services offered, and manage the inflow of elite clientele from various factions.

Additionally, I want you to establish a business relationship with Lilitifa Vepar from the extinct Vepar family. Use our resort's prestige and potential profitability to persuade her. If she agrees, not only could she earn enough to resurrect her family, but she would also become a valuable ally and a key partner in expanding our influence in the supernatural world."

"Understood, young master," Eri and Stella responded in unison.

With my plans laid out and roles assigned, we were ready to embark on this new chapter. The foundations of our future were set, and it was only a matter of time before we realized our ambitions.
