( Yuuki's POV )

As Mendez was reeling I pulled out my revolvers, the fire cloth of my fire axe wrapped around my grip to withstand the recoil of the guns, Then I unloaded all my bullets on Mendez, This time he did not come out unscathed and while I was reloading he launched himself at me with surprising agility but I hit him with a powerful sweep with my tails that pushed him back to his place.

I was going to unload another round on the village chief but suddenly he dropped his coat and his body began to mutate, I was somewhat interested in what was going to happen so I lowered my weapons but Shera was not on the same wavelength, she shot three arrows at the same time but before they could hit, Mendez finished his transformation, The center of his body split and stretched making him twice as tall, it was like a giant centipede and scorpion claws grew out of his back, The arrows only hit his new centipede body.

Yuuki: Aim for the legs.

Mendez used his new limbs to make a powerful sweep towards me but I was not going to let myself be hit that easily, I jumped in an arc to position myself behind him, Erica threw another flash BIM, but that wasn't super effective like before, the parasite inside Mendez must be of a higher class.

Although the parasite did not disintegrate, Mendez was blinded for a moment and that was all that was needed.

Shera fired arrows in rapid-fire pinning Mendez's legs to the ground, then I dug my tails into his shoulders and planted my feet on his back.

Yuuki: disappointing, I was expecting more.

With the rest of my tails, I tied the scorpion claws and fired my high-caliber bullets straight into the back of his head, I didn't think he was going to survive that, but to top it off, I pierced his heart with my fist and also pulled out the parasite inside him.

The towering man's body fell forward lifeless, I walked away from the body and threw the parasite into my storage, it was worth investigating this later.

After finishing off Mendez,.we moved to the castle and came across a raised drawbridge that stopped our path, I told the girls to hold on to me, and I flew us to the other side of the bridge, while we were in the air, Pheliss contacted me again.

Pheliss: [ Master, I must inform you that the girl was caught again. ]

Yuuki: Ashley, how? What happened to Leon?

Pheliss: [ I'm not sure, he simply handed her over to the castle owner, Ramon, when he met him.]

Erica: Traitor? Unforgivable.

I showed Erica how to use the bracelet quickly and also gave my P90 to Shera so she could take advantage of the full-auto fire, I flew to one of the castle windows in the closest place to where I saw Ashley but we had to cross a couple of rooms to get to her, the place was full of infected wearing black hoods and the place was full of crazy weird locks, seriously who designs a castle like this, I broke those locks by force until we reached a strange, long room that had paths of running water, but that was not normal water but a strange black substance.

In front of us, I saw Ashley being carried by a tall hooded creature, next to her was a second hooded creature, and a bunch of infected were accompanying them.

Ashley: Yuuki!

The enemies had their backs to us, but Ashley, who was on the creature's shoulder, could see us, and she shouted my name, immediately all the enemies turned around, many of them with crossbows, shot at us without hesitation, while the two hooded figures ignored us and continued carrying Ashley.

I created a barrier in front of us to stop all the crossbow bolts, and while they were reloading, I sent one of my tails at high speed, grabbed Ashley by her waist, and pulled her to our side, she flew across the large room screaming at the top of her lungs.

Ashley: AAAHHHHH!!

Yuuki: I got you, I got you.

I stretched my arms out in front of me, and the screaming Ashley fell perfectly into them, I carefully put her on the ground, and since she hadn't opened her eyes, I put a BIM barrier on her hands and put one of her fingers on the button.

She didn't open her eyes, but she nodded energetically, and then I turned my attention to the two most dangerous enemies, who, like the mutated Mendez, had insect-like characteristics.
