Reverend Insanity: Heaven Illusion Demon Venerable

Chapter 3: First Gacha

Levi stared at the glowing red screen, his breath still heavy from the effort of accumulating 10 KP. The system pulsed with a faint rhythm, and new text began to materialize on the screen:

The Gacha and Check-in systems are now unlocked. Congratulations, Host!

A grin spread across Levi's face. "Finally," he muttered, excitement bubbling within him. As he continued to watch, more text appeared, guiding him forward:

As a welcome gift, you have been granted 10 free pulls on the Gacha System (Multi Pull). Use this opportunity wisely, Host.

The Gacha System operates similarly to a random draw. You can pull once (Single Pull) or ten times at once (Multi Pull) if you have sufficient Gacha tickets. Each pull gives you a chance to obtain a random reward, which can range from Gu worms to cultivation resources, and even unique techniques.

Levi's eyes lit up as he read the explanation. "So, it's just like those gacha games I used to play back on Earth," he murmured, rubbing his hands together. "Except here, the stakes are my life."

The system continued:

You currently have 10 free pulls (Multi Pull). Would you like to proceed?

Levi didn't hesitate. "Hell yes. Let's do this!"

The red screen shimmered, and a circular interface appeared, displaying a glowing button labeled "PULL" at its center. Without delay, Levi tapped the button, and the screen erupted a brilliant animation.

A vortex of swirling colors engulfed the interface, golden trails intersecting with streaks of crimson, forming intricate patterns of light. Slowly, ten shimmering cards materialized, arranged in a circular formation. Each card flipped over one by one, revealing treasures of varying brilliance.

First, a radiant glow enveloped one of the cards, and text illuminated the screen as the first item revealed itself:

Congratulations! You have obtained:

(One plus One Bonus)One Tomoe Sharingan Gu (Rank 1) - A consumable Gu worm that grants the user the ability of the One Tomoe Sharingan. This ability heightens perception and reaction speed, allowing the user to see through basic illusions and track rapid movements. As the user's rank increases, the Sharingan Gu evolves, unlocking additional tomoe and greater power.

10 Primeval Stones - Small, translucent stones glowing faintly with blue light. Used as a primary energy source for cultivating Gu worms and techniques, they are essential resources for any Gu Master.

Ordinary Illusion Attainment - A lump of will that has an ordinary attainment in illusion, when used it can help raise the attainment of someone by fusing the lump of will into their minds.

White Boar Gu (Rank 1) - White Boar Gu allows a Gu Master to have the strength of an ordinary Beast "White Boar". (Permanent strength)

Black Boar Gu (Rank 1) - Black Boar Gu allows a Gu Master to have the strength of an ordinary beast Black Boar. (Permanent strength)

25 Primeval Stones - A larger stash of primeval stones, glowing more brightly and indicating higher quality, used for prolonged cultivation sessions or powering advanced techniques.

20 Primeval Stones - A steady supply of energy-rich stones, perfect for sustaining cultivation during intense periods of training.

15 Primeval Stones - Smaller in quantity but still valuable, these stones provide quick bursts of energy for emergency needs.

Liquor Worm - Rank 1 Liquor Worm can refine and condense green copper Primeval Essence and allow a Gu Master to store much more Primeval Essence.

10 Primeval Stones - A small but versatile reserve of primeval stones, ideal for fueling minor Gu worms or techniques.

Levi rubbed his eyes again and again to see the item he got first "What the fu*k, is this sh*t real chat. I got a sharingan, a real sharingan as a gu, I think this is a human path gu and I also got Liquir worm, Black Boar and White Boar Gu's with this I am going to have an easier start. I am also a bit rich I got a lot of Primeval stones with this I can earily reach Rank 2, now I should start grinding."

As he was thinking,

A new icon appeared on the screen, labeled Inventory, and all the rewards he obtained were placed inside. Levi rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "This is such fu*king amazing pull, I think I used all my luck to get these," he was satisfies with these rewards he was not greedy to get more powerful one, a grin creeping across his face.

The system continued:

You may now purchase Gacha tickets using KP. Each Single Pull costs 10 KP, while a Multi Pull (10 pulls) costs 90 KP, giving you a discount. Earn KP by killing living beings, and use it wisely to strengthen yourself, Host.

Levi's bowed down to system and said honestly "Okay, I got it. Thank you for giving me good rewards."

"Now then, let's first start absorbing the illusion attainment." Levi thought as he saw the lump of will from the inventory.

The lump of will was shrouded in a swirling fog, its shape ethereal and constantly shifting. The fog emanated a faint glow, alternating between silver and pale blue hues, giving it an almost mystical presence. Tendrils of the fog stretched outward, as if alive, curling and retracting in rhythmic motions.

(I forgot how the attainment through "will" work.)

Levi steadied his breathing and reached out toward the lump of will. As his fingers made contact, a wave of cool energy surged through his hand, coursing up his arm and spreading into his mind. The swirling fog began to dissolve, drawn inward as if magnetized by his consciousness.

A sharp yet fleeting pain struck his head, forcing him to grit his teeth. In the next moment, a cascade of knowledge and understanding flooded his mind. The concepts of illusion path cultivation, techniques for weaving deceptive visuals, and the intricacies of manipulating perception became clear, as though they had always been part of his thoughts.

When the process ended, Levi exhaled heavily, his eyes gleaming with newfound comprehension. "This… this is incredible," he muttered. "It's as if I've been practicing the illusion path for years."

"Next," he said as he took out a Gu from the inventory. The Gu worm was shaped like a silkworm, and its entire body emitted a pearl-white light. It was a little chubby and had a cute appearance.

It was the Liquor Worm.

Levi injected his primeval essence into the Liquor Worm, and the Gu was instantly refined by him. "Well, as I thought, things from the system can be easily refined." He stored the Liquor Worm in his aperture as he took out another one, the Black Boar Gu, and refined it as well. Then came the White Boar Gu, which he refined and stored in his aperture.

His eyes shone like a star as he saw the last Gu in the inventory. "I fu*king love Sharingan," he exclaimed with excitement.

His eyes shone like a star as he saw the last Gu in the inventory. He carefully took it out. The Gu worm was shaped like an eye, glowing with a vivid red hue that seemed to pulse with life. Its surface was smooth and glossy, resembling a polished gemstone. At its center was a single black tomoe, curved and sharp.Levi steadied his breathing, holding the Sharingan Gu carefully in his hand.

"Time to fuse this beauty," he murmured. He closed his eyes briefly before placing the eye-shaped Gu over his own left eye. As it made contact, the Gu seemed to liquefy, spreading across his eye socket like warm ink.

A searing pain struck him, sharp and immediate, as if needles were piercing into his eye. Levi gritted his teeth, his body trembling from the intensity of the sensation. The red glow of the Sharingan Gu pulsed, merging seamlessly into his iris. Slowly, the pain subsided, replaced by an overwhelming clarity in his vision.

When he opened his eyes, his left iris now glowed faintly red, with the single black tomoe spinning lightly around his pupil. Levi blinked, his breath uneven, as he took a moment to adjust. The world around him seemed sharper, clearer, as though layers of reality had been peeled back to reveal hidden details.

Without hesitation, Levi took the second Sharingan Gu from the inventory. Holding it in his hand, he repeated the process. Placing the Gu over his right eye, he felt the same intense searing pain as the Gu liquefied and fused with his iris. The sensation was just as sharp and overwhelming, forcing him to clench his fists and endure.

When the process ended, Levi opened his eyes slowly. Both irises now glowed faintly red, each adorned with a single spinning black tomoe. The clarity in his vision was unparalleled, revealing details he never knew existed in the world around him.

"This... is insane, to think one day I would be able to use a real Sharingan," Levi muttered, staring at his reflection in a nearby shard of polished metal. A grin spread across his face. "I have the Sharingan. My path in this world just got a whole lot more interesting, but I shouldn't be overconfident, there are all of the people who are stronger than me. So, let's take it step by step and Brick By Brick."
