Chapter 12: Chapter - 12 Just Accept Our Everything
The following days flew by in a blur, my mind turning over all the information I was given. Ferdinand said he would willingly and happily become impotent for me, but he seemed to be taking things too lightly. Or so I thought, but apparently all of them felt the same way.
Ferdinand, Bellamy, Sylvester, and Cole didn't stay the night a single night. In fact, I hadn't seen Bellamy or Ferdinand for days now, but Cole came every other day. I had seen Sylvester once since Delcain advised everyone of 'the plan', and if I was being truthful I was starting to miss them and their antics.
Ferdinand left the twins, Raihne and Payhne, to look after us. From what I heard from Cole however, they had practically begged to stay. They were adorable and terrifying, like a feral kitten, but they loved the girls and the girls absolutely loved them. Kaleb was walking unassisted now, although the first three days of his recovery were pretty brutal.
The twins were extremely capable, and I found out that they were younger than I was... I was really feeling the inferiority. They were extremely good looking, but also so identical I could only tell them apart by their scars.
They each had medium length obsidian hair that went a little past their shoulders. Bright cloudy blue eyes, tanned skin, and chiseled jawlines. They were also taller than me, adding even more to my inferiority complex. The only definitive distinction between the two was that Raihne had a scar through his right eyebrow, and Payhne had a scar that ran from his left temple to just before his chin.
To add insult to injury, they were extremely good cooks, though I had them beat when it came to breakfast foods. Sable always requested I make breakfast and the twins would readily agree. Delcain hadn't asked me about my answer, and he never pushed for a reply.
Even so, he would have subtle signs of worry with each new day. I hadn't told Kaleb about his mother, mostly because on some level I wanted it to be a lie the director used to hurt me. I heard from Sable he went through something traumatic when the lab employees broke into the apartment, and that Cole's eyes glowed extremely bright as he broke their bones in a frenzy.
It was Friday evening now, and we were all bunched up watching a trilogy movie collection, and we were on the final installment. The twins were apparently orphans so they liked the thought of family movie nights. The elevator chimed and scared us all at the peak of the jump scare. Arrisa hid her face behind Payhne's hands and Sable hid behind my back. It was quite comical.
I turned to see who our latest intruder was, assuming it was Cole. However it was Sylvester dressed in casual lounge wear.
"Uncle Syl!!" Sable exclaimed, jumping off the couch. She ran towards him and he knelt down to hug her.
"How's the biggest Princess doing? Are you abusing your uncles well?" He asked, picking her up and walking towards the couch.
"No! They are being good boys for now. Did you hang up my picture like you promised?" She asked, hugging his head.
"I sure did right in my living room. I'll show you one day soon, okay?" He replied.
"Uncle Ferdinand looked like he was gonna cry, just like you said he would. Ahaha!" She cackled a little too evilly.
I wasn't sure when it started but the kids had begun calling all the Alphas Uncle. It was pretty endearing, and the guys would melt every time. Sylvester sat beside me on the couch, and pulled me into a hug too.
"How are you holding up, Tristan?" He asked.
"I'm fine, I suppose." I replied.
"He's not fine at all Uncle Syl. He keeps worrying about something, but he won't tell us what it is!" Sable said, ratting me out.
Sylvester raised a brow giving me a questioning look. He definitely knew why I was worrying, and also why I couldn't talk about it.
"It's fine. I always worry about my nosey little sister and my siblings. You just never see it because I'm usually at work." I replied, looking away.
"We get to hang out with Delcain and Tristan all day now! I love it!" Arrisa exclaimed innocently.
"Yeah... the girls are always happier now." Kaleb said with a sigh.
"That's a good thing right?" Delcain asked.
"I mean it would be, if you guys ever explained what we plan to do now... we just sit around doing nothing all day. It's like we are waiting for them to kick our door in again." Kaleb said, making the girls flinch.
"That would never happen. And even if it did, they would die before they made it out of the elevator." Payhne said, with a murderous glint in his eyes, while he covered Arrisa's ears.
"No one threatens our Princesses and lives." Raihne added.
"Ugh... whatever." Kaleb said, irritated.
"I understand what you mean Kaleb, but that's why you're here and not running. This penthouse is a variable fortress, and we monitor the cameras all day. Also note that you can only get to this floor with a specific key card that only Ferdinand, Cole, Bellamy, and I own. So if they do make it up here, one of us is dead." Sylvester said with a shrug.
Ferdinand had elected to bring the twins up to speed on our story and situation, so they could protect us efficiently. After they found out, they cherished the girls even more. Spoiling them rotten with any and everything they asked for.
"Delcain... Tristan, I need to talk to you for a bit. Meet me in Tristan's room." Sylvester said, handing Sable to Raihne.
After he walked off, Delcain looked at me and my stomach cramped up. We were out of time. I couldn't deny that I liked the Alphas, I just couldn't wrap my head around having four mates or four children. Not only that, but the whole process sounded chaotic and painful.
I stood and ruffled Kaleb's hair before walking to my room. Delcain was right behind me, he grabbed my hand when he noticed my steps had slowed down.
"No matter what, I'm on your side. Your happiness means more to me than my safety, always." Delcain said.
He always seemed to know just what to say to me. I had been churning thoughts out day and night over what to do. I ended up dragging my feet, because I like them and forever didn't sound terrible. I just couldn't picture my forever, every path I chose ended up back at that facility... it always had. Even before I met the Alphas, I never thought I would escape them for long, but I wanted to... I wanted to be free for as long as possible. I wanted to be my own person, live my own life, and save my siblings from a horrible fate.
I walked into my room with Delcain, and Sylvester instantly picked me up, scaring me half to death.
"Jeez! You scared me. My eyes are spinning! That was way too fast!" I said, poking him in the forehead.
"I'm sorry... but I missed you, didn't you miss me?" He asked with a pout.
All their pouts seemed like foul play, they were too big to be making such adorable faces.
"Yes, I missed you dork. Doesn't mean you can scare the daylights out of me, though." I said, finally giving him a hug too.
"Sorry... I'll work on it..." He said, pouting even more.
"It's fine... Do what you want." I sighed.
Sylvester gave the biggest grin I had ever seen him make. His sharp fang teeth making their presence known all at once, made me shiver. He sat down on my bed with me still in his arms and I let go of Delcain's hand. Sylvester kissed my face all over before kissing my lips, then he put his face in the crook of my neck and took a deep breath.
"Ahem... So what's going on now?" Delcain asked, clearing his throat.
"We're out of time. Cole's father will be back tonight. He was able to postpone their dinner chat until Monday, saying he was out of town with me and Ferdinand but that won't be able to hold him at bay long enough." Sylvester said, still breathing into my neck.
"It's fine... I've more or less made up my mind." I replied, running my fingers through his soft midnight blue hair.
He stopped breathing me in and looked up at me, "Oh? And what's the verdict?" He asked.
"I have some questions first, is that ok?" I asked.
"Absolutely. What are they? Can I answer them, or should I phone a friend?" He asked, giving a goofy grin.
"You can answer them... maybe." I replied.
"Okay. Go for it, ask away." He said.
"What order would it be in? Like do you know whose more Dominant, strongest to weakest?" I asked.
"Mmm... Ferdinand is obviously first, then me, next is Bellamy, and finally Cole." He replied, eyes closed and scratching his temple.
"Okay... Did Bellamy finish his task?" I asked.
"Yeah... he really went above and beyond. Apparently he made a new drug all together, he didn't want to risk you forgetting or getting addicted to it in case of over use. He also didn't want you to have withdrawal symptoms afterwards. But because it works so well and is less addictive, it probably won't be approved by the LDC– Legal Drug Council– for those exact reasons, so it's essentially illegal." Sylvester said, beaming with pride as if he were the creator.
"That guy... I never doubted him, but he seems extremely smart and ridiculously capable. No offense, but if I'm choosing favorites, it's definitely him." Delcain said, cackling.
"None taken... he's my favorite too, after Ferdinand. He keeps us all level headed." Sylvester said smiling.
"Where is Ferdinand?" I asked. A part of me hesitated because I hadn't seen him since that day. It felt like he had changed his mind or he purposely didn't want to see me.
"He's been locked up in his estate. He said he didn't want to pressure you or make you feel like you had to choose him, so he's keeping his distance and preparing his place in the event that you accept our proposals." He replied.
Now that I thought about it, these were indeed basically proposals from the four of them. There was no going back for any of them once it was done and they all remained steadfast in what they wanted, regardless of the consequences. It was that reasoning that made it easier to choose.
"Do you love me Sylvester?" I asked.
"Yes. Forever." He replied, kissing my neck and shoulder.
"Would you love me even if I chose not to mate with you? If I chose to leave you and Sayenrio behind?" I asked, curious.
"Yes. Always. I won't pretend I understand how much strain mating would put on you mentally and physically. Nevertheless I will love you always, and stay by your side to ensure your safety until my dying day. You can't leave me behind if I go with you." Sylvester said, brimming with confidence.
"Good answer." Delcain said chuckling.
"Do you have a problem mating with me and three other Alphas?" I asked.
"No. If anything it's a relief." He replied.
"A relief? How? Why?" I asked, confused.
"They are my best damn friends. We've been around each other for as long as I can remember. Most of them are reliable, and I can depend on them. If I can't be by your side, I know one of them will be able to without fail. Also, knowing they love and cherish you just as much as I do, is a huge comfort. Plus they're all handsome sons of bitches, who could ask for more? If I had to pop a boner for an unattractive Alpha whether intentional or not, I'd hate my life." He said, chuckling.
"Jeez... be serious please." I chided.
"Oh, I totally am." He said sternly. I could do nothing but sigh.
"Do you understand that I don't want children. Not until their safety can be assured, and that I'll do whatever's necessary to not get pregnant?" I asked.
"I don't want children. We have Kaleb, Arrisa, and Sable. That's enough, so do what you want... I didn't mention you Del because you're basically like a little brother to me, and super reliable." Sylvester said.
"He is, isn't he? Haha." I agreed.
"Yea well I'm still only 17 so don't go pushing your luck." Delcain said with a sigh.
"What day of the week do you want?" I asked. Sylvester looked confused for a moment, then realization dawned on his face.
"You're going to let me choose?" He asked, surprised.
"Of course. You can't be first but I can at least let you choose your day. So you don't think I'm playing favorites anymore." I said, kissing his cheek.
"Wednesdays... I'll take Wednesdays." He said, before seizing my lips.
"Stop that. Why Wednesdays?" I asked, breaking from his kissing.
"For hump day, obviously." He said with a playful smile, while grinding his semi-hard erection against my ass.
"Ahahaha! I hate this guy! Why do I find that so hilarious? Damn it..." Delcain said, slapping a hand on his forehead.
"Hmm... okay I'll do it. When are we going to do this?" I asked.
"Tomorrow. Bellamy will pick you up... probably. I'm going to leave some of my men stationed around 24/7 so you don't have to worry about your siblings. I trust the twins to handle business in here, my guys will be out there looking for suspicious people and unmarked cars. They will alert the twins first, then us." Sylvester said.
"Thanks... that makes me feel so much better." Delcain replied.
"Yeah... I know Kaleb is just worried because of what happened to him, but I also understood his point. In the event that they miraculously made it up the elevator the kids would be sitting ducks." I said on a sigh.
"Hmm... don't underestimate the twins... they are next level assassin psycho killers. The fact that they are so tame around the kids kind of freaks me out. And Sable's room has a sort of panic room, it's more like a hidden room and can be entered if found, but it's big enough hide them for a while. The twins could move a dresser in front of it and they'd be safe." Sylvester said with a shrug.
"Well that's good news. I'll look into it and see what we can do to secure it. Maybe even store some stuff in there to occupy us while we wait, if we have to use it... I'm going to head back out to the living room now. I don't need to hear much else. I'll make up some excuse about you leaving tomorrow so pack before Sylvester leaves and give it to him." Delcain said, before walking out the room.
"Hmm... I like that kid, he knew exactly what I wanted." Sylvester said, squeezing me tightly before laying me down on the bed.
"Yeah... I don't know how but he's the same way with me too." I replied, as Sylvester snuggled up beside me.
"I don't get to stay the night, but I want my snuggle time at least." Sylvester said, kissing my back, nape, then shoulder.
"Are you scared?" Sylvester asked.
"A little... aren't you?" I asked.
"I'm terrified... seriously." He murmured.
I turned over looking at him in shock. It was the first time any of them had said they were scared.
"Don't give me that look. Being in a rut is scary, my body just moves instinctively. Like I'm mentally there but, I'm only thinking about marking you and mating with you. It's so consuming I didn't have a single thought running through my mind besides that. Then when I snapped out of it, you looked so scared and then passed out! It felt awful... when I woke up you were gone. I never got to tell you I was sorry."
I kissed his face then his lips, he was on the verge of tears. I realized he wasn't scared to mate with me, he was scared he'd hurt me. That sentiment washed over me like a soft warm blanket fresh out the dryer. He was worried for my sake, it was such a foreign feeling that I often forget how these guys felt about me.
It's a different feeling from when they are angry on my behalf or when they were trying to protect me. He genuinely just didn't want to hurt me, but knew the possibility was still there.
"Last time... I didn't hate it... however, that's exactly why it freaked me out. You were fairly hot and seductive at the time. I thought for sure you and Ferdinand were going to make out in front of me." I said, pressing my face to his chest. Breathing in his smokey mesquite scent was so calming right now, it almost freaked me out.
"Pfft! Me? Make out with Ferdinand? Please! That could never happen. Hahaha!" Sylvester laughed uproariously. I looked up at him confused.
'Does he not remember the things he does when he's drunk? Is that why he never acts on those impulses sober? Ahaha! What the hell? He sobered up so quickly, surely he remembers something.'
"Umm... what are you talking about? You totally made out with Ferdinand, right above my very eyes, just the other day." I said, causing Sylvester to sputter.
"I what? What are you saying? When was this?" He asked, incredulous.
"Monday... you made out with Ferdinand in this very bed. It was terrifyingly hot. I thought my heart was gonna explode! You did drink all the beers in the mini fridge though, so you were pretty drunk." I said.
Sylvester looked confused and worried. I didn't understand why, Ferdinand said he acted like that all the time when intoxicated.
"Um... I'm sorry. T-That doesn't mean I like him more than you though, okay?" He said, looking like he was about to panic.
"I know you said that too. Hahaha! Ferdinand said you always turn really clingy when you get drunk... And don't feel bad, I told you to kiss Ferdinand to ruffle his feathers as a joke, but he kissed you first. Although, you did deepen said kiss on your own though." I said, cackling.
"Ugh... that's embarrassing..." He said, squeezing me.
"Do you like Ferdinand, Sylvester? Ferdinand calls you Syl whenever he's being gentle with you so I suspect he doesn't hate it... much." I said.
"It's not like that... to me Ferdinand has always been a place of peace and comfort. He can calm me down when I'm feeling especially volatile. You are the same way, though recently I become volatile with things concerning you, so it doesn't have the same effect as Ferdinand." He said.
"Yeah... you said something about his pheromones calming you down."
"Yeah... I don't have the best parents. They are neglectful at best, abusive at worst. Ferdinand has just always been there for me so it kind of just happened... especially after his parents were killed."
"I see. Well it wasn't terrible... just too hot to be legal." I replied, giving him a kiss of my own.
He deepened the kiss and his pheromones grew a bit stronger, but not overwhelming. We talked and kissed for what seemed like hours. It seemed that Sylvester was really lonely again. He packed my clothes for me so I could stay in bed, and I watched him mosey around my room collecting things.
Once he packed my clothes he dove back into the bed to hold me a little more, his warmth almost causing me to go to sleep in his arms.
"It's getting late I should get going soon. If I don't, I'll stay here and go to sleep with you." Sylvester whispered to me, as I was drifting off.
"Mmm... you should just stay... over. It's lonely without you guys here..." I whined sleepily.
"Don't rile me up Tristan. I promised I wouldn't stay. I can't guarantee I won't go into rut being around you any more than this, and we'll have enough time for that tomorrow. After all I've been here for nearly 3 hours and this hasn't gone down once. Even though I took an inhibitor in the elevator ride up here." He said, rubbing his erection against my ass.
My eyes flared open as I remembered a hard truth about my body. I rolled over to face him.
"Hm? What immense restraint. Should I reward you for being such a good boy?"
"No. Don't. Seriously, I'm at my friggin limit here."
"Hmm? But you're behaving so well." I said, rubbing his erection through his pants. He sucked in a harsh breath, and his eyes started to glow white.
"Control yourself Sylvester. I'll see you tomorrow so it will be fine... don't lose control just yet okay. I'll be very mad at you." I purred into his ear before nibbling on it. He let out a long deep breath and his eyes turned back into their usual smokey gray color.
He looked at me like he could eat me right now and leave nothing left, but he never moved a muscle.
"Mmm... what a good boy you are Syl." I said, giving him one last kiss while rubbing my thigh against his erection.
"Ugh... you're playing dirty... I almost came just then..." He said, through clenched teeth.
"It's fine. You did good. Now let's go, I'm sleepy." I said, rolling out of bed.
Sylvester followed, grabbing my duffel bag and slinging it over his shoulder. He kissed me repeatedly until we reached the living room area. He said his goodbyes to the kids and then headed out.
"Alright I'm tired so I'm going to bed now. Sable, Arrisa? Do you want to sleep in my room tonight?" I asked, but I already knew the answer. It was the same every night.
"No I'm going to sleep with Payhne." Arrisa said.
"I'm going to sleep with Raihne." Sable added.
"Don't say it like that! It sounds weird!" Kaleb chided.
"It's not weird! It's warm and they smell like Chocolate Coffee! It's awesome!" Arrisa yelled angrily.
"I'd have to agree, although Raihne smells like Carmel Chocolate Coffee, to me at least. It reminds me of the coffee big brother Tristan and Delcain drink all the time." Sable added.
"Ugh! Whatever im going to bed too. You're all so freakin annoying." Kaleb said, before storming off.
"I'm going to bed too, but I'm sleeping with you Tristan..." Delcain said.
"Okay I don't mind... I don't really want to sleep alone..." I murmured.
"I know... that's why I'm coming too. I know you too well brother... Payhne, Raihne? Don't stay up late watching scary movies with the girls. It's already almost midnight, one more movie and then bed. No matter how much they beg you. You need to be reliable Uncles." Delcain said, walking towards me.
"Yes, sir." They replied in unison.
I entered my room and plopped down on the bed curling into myself. Even though Sylvester's pheromones were all over my covers, the bed itself was cold. Delcain climbed into my bed and paused looking at my bed, grossed out for some reason.
"Nothing happened Del. We just talked and kissed some. He was holding back... a lot."
"He seems like the biggest kid, and the most irresponsible." Delcain said with a hmph.
"He's not that bad. Cole is a bigger kid. Also Sylvester is the first one to tell me he's scared. It was really comforting to know." I retorted.
"Scared? Of what? Mating with you?" He asked.
"Scared of hurting me when he's lost in his rut." I said, putting my head against his.
We talked about my decision to become their mate. His worries for me, and also his fears of having all the Alphas gone and distracted for who knew how long. I fell asleep as he talked to me feeling comfort in his worry and concern.

*Ding*
"Uncle Bellamy! Where have you been!?" Arrisa said, running up to him and jumping right into his arms, catching him off guard.
"Whoa! Hey there little Princess. Who the heck told you to start calling me Uncle Bellamy?" He asked, stepping out of the elevator.
"Uncle Cole and Uncle Syl! I haven't seen Uncle Ferdi in a long long time!" She whined.
"Uncle Ferdi? Ahahaha! If you call him that and he cries I'll give you 20 corra." Bellamy chortled, as he walked into the kitchen area.
"Big Brother Tristan cooked breakfast. Do you want to try some?" Arrisa innocently asked.
"Hm? What did he make?" Bellamy asked.
"My favorites! French Toast, mini omelets, and bacon!" Sable said, getting up to hug Bellamy too.
"You've been gone a long time Uncle Bellamy. I thought you died!" Sable said, angrily.
"You guys are exaggerating. It's been like four or five days. Not even a whole week." Bellamy said, with a lopsided grin.
"That felt like forever! Uncle Ferdi better be dead because he hasn't shown up at all! Big Brother Tristan gets sad when you guys aren't here." Sable said, taking her seat and eating again.
I choked on a piece of bacon as I looked to see Bellamy's quizzical stare. I never openly said I was sad or even that I missed them, but Sable was perceptive as always when it came to me.
"It's not like that. I was just worried about you is all..." I said, trying to defend myself, and failing miserably. Everyone laughed, and I even heard the twins mumble a 'Yeah, sure', it was unbelievable.
"Would you like something to eat Bellamy?" I asked, trying to move off the subject.
"No I'm fine, I've already eaten with the guys... I didn't believe him but, has Ferdinand really not been by at all?" Bellamy asked, looking perplexed.
"Nope. Not once since Monday. You either for that matter. I suppose you had your reasons..." Delcain replied.
"Yeah I was... really busy, but it was worth it if that means Tristan worried about me. I'll try not to make it a habit going forward." Bellamy said.
I finished eating and cleaned up the kitchen a bit. I was nervous and couldn't calm down, the look of anticipation in Bellamy's eyes wasn't helping at all.
"Tristan, just go already I'll clean up. Stop stalling, you've already made up your mind right?" Delcain whispered.
"Who's side are you on anyway? Can't I still be nervous as hell!?" I whispered harshly.
"It won't do you any good now. He looks like he's 10 seconds from carrying you out of here anyway." Delcain replied, jabbing a thumb in Bellamy's direction.
"Ugh... fine. What are you going to tell the kids?" I asked, quizzically.
"Kids, Big Brother Tristan is going with Uncle Bellamy to look at our new home. Come say your goodbyes." Delcain said addressing the group. My jaw almost hit the floor at the connotations of his words, and at the underlying truth.
Sable and Arrisa ran up to me first giving me hugs and kisses, while demanding what the new place should have. Kaleb just stood by saying it was about time we left. I said my farewells and climbed into the elevator with Bellamy.
"This sort of feels like Deja Vu." Bellamy said laughing. When the doors closed, Bellamy scooped me up and kissed my face all over.
"You and Sylvester did the same thing once you finally got me alone." I said, exasperated.
"Can you blame us? It may not feel like it for you, but it feels damn good to be chosen by you. I'm both scared and excited." He said, setting me back down but not relinquishing his hold on me.
"He also said he was scared..." I sighed.
"If anyone says they're not, then they're lying. You are precious to us without question. So hurting you would be our greatest regret." He said, kissing me on the junction between my neck and left shoulder.
The area wasn't lost on me, by the end of the day, that's where his mark would be. I shivered at the thought.
"Tristan, are you thinking naughty thoughts? Your face is turning red..." Bellamy teased.
"It's your fault! Don't kiss me there. I know what it means, jerk." I said putting my hand over his mouth.
"Oho? Is that it? Imagining my mark on your skin? Mmm... you shouldn't rile me up Tristan." Bellamy said with a smirk.
"I'm not! Stop teasing me before I change my mind!" I said.
Bellamy immediately stopped, looking wounded. It would be funny if I were joking, but I wasn't. I was terrified and they were all way too sensual for me to handle. Much less at the same time.
We got to the ground floor, but we didn't head towards the main doors like usual.
"Where are we going?" I asked, nervous.
"A secret exit..." Bellamy said, pulling me along.
We walked through halls and down some stairs then came to a door that needed a key card for entry. Bellamy scanned the card and the door slowly opened with a heavy humming sound. The room beyond the door was pitch black and I immediately tensed up.
"It's fine, the lights are automatic. They'll come on when we enter." Bellamy said, taking the first step.
True to his word the lights came on, and the sight before me nearly took my breath away. There were rows of cars, of various makes and models but all of them where in 3 distinctive colors: Black, Ocher, or a mixture of both.
"This is Ferdinand's underground garage. As you can see he's very particular about the colors. I once gifted him a red and white Ashton Martin, he traded it in for that black and ocher one over there." Bellamy said, annoyed.
"Why are we here?" I asked, not understanding.
"Because he's got a specific car that will work for our purposes." Bellamy said, heading further into the garage.
We walked to a black sedan that had windows so dark you couldn't even see through the windshield. I couldn't figure out how he would drive this thing, until we got inside. The view was so clear and pristine I questioned if it was the same car. It was like the windows were made out of 2-way mirror glass. I couldn't deny how cool it was.
"I want one. A blue one, A red one, a green one, and a black one." I said looking at Bellamy, eyes shining.
"Hahaha! After today I'm pretty sure Ferdinand will give you whatever you want." Bellamy laughed boisterously.
"Hmm? Just Ferdinand? I want one from each of you!" I declared.
Bellamy stopped in his tracks, the key didn't make it to the ignition. He slowly looked at me, eyes wide. He had no doubt just figured out what kind of person I was. Fairness was only fair.
"Still want to be my mate?" I asked, wiggling my brow.
"Hngh... I'm beginning to see the downside to your kindness. We'd never have to compete for your affection if you always requested fairness from the beginning, huh? Shit... the boys are going to eat you alive..." Bellamy said with a sigh and started the car.
Sure, I didn't want four of everything they got me, but I would never turn down their offer. I had four siblings after all. An expensive hand-me-down was still expensive.
Bellamy began to drive towards a wall without slowing down. As I gripped my seat belt, he pushed a button overhead and the wall parted to show a back alley. He pulled out onto it and watched the wall close, before heading for the main road.
The drive wasn't short by any means, so I broke the silence with some of the questions I asked Sylvester yesterday.
"Bellamy... what day of the week do you want?" I asked.
"Tuesday. Without question." He replied instantly.
"Why?" I asked.
"Ferdinand will undoubtedly want Monday." He said nonchalantly.
"Do you understand I don't want children... until their safety is guaranteed?" I asked.
"Take as much time as you need. I'll work tirelessly to ensure we can have children who won't need more than one mate." He replied.
"Does it bother you that you have to share me?"
"Yes. I love the guys, I truly do... but I'm selfish by nature and greedy as hell. If they were any other Alphas I couldn't do it." He replied, honestly.
"Hmm... well I don't hate your honesty. Hahaha!" I said laughing.
"We're almost there... before we get there I want you to know and understand one thing about me. I'm a jealous guy, I can't change that. So understand that I won't forgive outsiders who covet, touch, or steal my things. Ever." He said, his eyes glowing a fierce honeyed amber-orange color.
I shivered at the serious glint in his eyes. He would kill whoever necessary, and he meant it.
'How absolutely terrifying...'
We pulled into a long stretch of road that was gated off. Bellamy hit a button on the dash and the gate slid open, just like the wall had earlier. Once we were through, there seemed to be two guard posts, one on each side of the road. The manor that stood at the end of the road wasn't particularly wide. From what I could tell, it had about 15 double hung windows on the front facing floors. However, it had at least 4 visible floors, and a wrap around porch. It was tall as hell, and imposing as fuck. The closer we got, the more I had to crane my neck upwards.
"Welcome to your new home." Bellamy teased.
I glared at him but didn't get out the car. Ferdinand, Sylvester, and Cole were sitting on the porch. They sprang to their feet as soon at the car stopped. Ferdinand was the first to reach the car, jumping right over the porch railing and the garden bushes. He opened my door with a huge smile on his face.
"I missed you Tristan. Did you miss me?" He asked.
"Yes. I missed you too. Not that you deserved it." I murmured.
"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?"
"The kids said you had better be dead for not showing up for an entire week." Bellamy said to Ferdinand as he got out of the car.
"It was just a week?" He replied, confused.
"Yeah well they don't tell time that way. I was forgiven since I was busy and still came to see them." He said walking towards the house.
Ferdinand looked like he was about to jump in the car and go see them right now to rectify his wrong, I could only roll my eyes.
'Good grief just how much does he want the kids to like him?'
"It's fine Ferdinand, just tell them you were looking for the perfect house or something... it will match the excuse I gave to leave them today." I said, getting out the car.
Once I got out of the car I didn't move, after dealing with Sylvester and Bellamy, I knew what was coming next with Ferdinand. True to the trend he scooped me up instantly and kissed my face all over. I could only stare at Sylvester and Bellamy in exasperation, as they laughed.
"What?" Ferdinand asked, looking at my face puzzled, then looking at Bellamy and Sylvester, who were both still laughing uproariously. Cole closed the car door as we headed towards the house.
"You all did the same thing the first chance you got." I said, finally giving him a hug back.
"Can you blame us?" He asked, making Bellamy and Sylvester laugh even more.
"I'm starting to understand why I can't..." I retorted.
We walked into the house and I was immediately thrown for a loop. The furniture and interior design just screamed character. It had black marble flooring with gold veins running wild throughout it, with black and white leather furnishings. The walls were in black and gold color schemes, and all the light fixtures were golden. There was a huge imperial staircase five steps in with white carpeted stairs and golden railings that curved and nearly met at the bottom. My jaw hung wide open.
"Welcome to our home." Ferdinand said, as he walked up one of the flights of stairs.
Bellamy was just getting over his laughing fit when he burst into laughter again.
"Bellamy, I'll switch it to friday!" I yelled back at him. He quickly covered his mouth but still couldn't help but laugh.
"I feel left out..." Sylvester and Cole said in unison.
"You'd understand if you watched him say his farewells. Delcain used the excuse that he was going to check out their new home. The look of absolute embarrassment on Tristan's face at the time was priceless." Bellamy told them holding his sides.
"Ah... so that's the excuse he made? Sheesh, and he didn't tell you beforehand? What a sadist." Sylvester replied.
"Down the hall to the right are the rooms for the kids they can choose between any of the four. Down this hall are our rooms. Bellamy, Sylvester, and Cole also have rooms in this hall. There are bathrooms in all of our rooms, and a large bathroom at the end of the right hallway for the kids. Downstairs is the pool, the library, the kitchen, and gym. The third floor has my study, a huge playroom for the kids, the theater, another bathroom, an arcade of sorts, and a second kitchen. The fourth floor is where most of my men stay when they are on duty." Ferdinand explained.
"What's an arcade?" I asked, not understanding the word.
Ferdinand almost tripped, while everyone else sucked in a sharp breath and stared at me. Then realization dawned on them and the looked absolutely heartbroken.
"We'll show you before you leave." Cole said.
"Okay... what's in the playroom?" I asked.
"Oh man, Ferdinand went all out! There's a ball pit, a swing set, a large playset, a mini tree house, a mini village, equipped with fake stores, houses, and a doctor's office. A massive doll set and doll house. A puppet theater, comfy sofas and chairs. A snow cone machine, and an ice-cream machine. A real tiny bakery, where the girls can make their own desserts. Ugh! It's just so much shit, makes me want to kill him. They're gonna love him to death. He even made an art corner for Sable. Equipped with two easels and every type of art supply imaginable." Cole said exasperated.
I couldn't lie, it all sounded too overwhelming to be real. I wanted to go, just so I could enjoy being a big kid.
"Raihne and Payhne are going to have their work cut out for them." I murmured.
Ferdinand could only chuckle saying, "I'm glad they are having fun. Much like you in a way, they never got to just be kids either. They've never had anyone young to look after, so I imagine they're being excessive. Sorry about that."
"It's fine. The girls adore them so I have no complaints." I replied.
We stopped at the room on the right-hand side at the end of the left hallway.
"This is my room." Ferdinand said, pushing the door open. To my surprise the color schemes were a deep blood red, black, and white. White marble flooring with red carpets, black drapes, red furniture. The bedframe was black, but the bedding was red. It was gorgeous.
Ferdinand sat me on his massive bed. It felt like it was two of my current beds put together. I immediately rolled all around, it felt like it was made of clouds. Everything was so soft and fluffy!
'I think I'm gonna like it here!'
I stopped rolling from end to end when I noticed no one was saying anything anymore. I peeked up from the feather filled pillow I was smelling deeply and realized they were all staring at me in amusement.
"What?! I can't help it that it's so soft!" I yelled.
"You're just adorable that's all." Ferdinand said, climbing into the bed.
"Unfortunately, only Ferdinand's bed is this big though. Ours are probably just a smidge bigger than your current bed." Cole said getting in bed too.
"Well my beds pretty damn big so I'm not seeing the issue." I retorted.
"Just promise me you'll roll around in my bed too." Sylvester said, climbing into the bed as well.
"Yeah... I could watch you do that all day." Bellamy said, following the trend.
The bed was so big that everyone could comfortably sit around me in a circle. It dawned on my why the hell only Ferdinand's bed was this big. We'd be sharing our shared day in Ferdinand's room at night.
'Seriously, these guys are unbelievable.'
Then I realized something, "Um... I don't get my own room?" I asked.
"Nah, you won't need one. You don't like sleeping alone right? You can share our rooms, or Delcain's. Cole, Bellamy, and Sylvester won't be here too much on another person's day. So if you're feeling that lonely just use their unoccupied rooms." Ferdinand said, nonchalantly.
I couldn't deny the reason was a sound one, but it also said Ferdinand would seize every opportunity to sleep beside me.
"Cole, pick a day." I said.
"Wednesdays!" He exclaimed.
"Nope! I got hump day try again." Sylvester said. Cole looked defeated like that was the reason he chose Wednesday too.
"Fine... Thursdays." He relented.
"How come you didn't ask me?" Ferdinand asked.
"Because everyone knew what you'd pick. Go ahead pick a day and prove them right." I said.
"...Mondays..." He murmured.
"See... They all let you have Monday... Okay so, Ferdinand has Mondays. Bellamy has Tuesdays. Sylvester has Wednesdays. Cole has Thursdays. Our day together is Friday. And my siblings get the weekends. Everyone agree?" I said.
They all nodded, looking ridiculously happy. Then Ferdinand pulled me towards him.
"Now Tristan, we all have only one request for you." Ferdinand said.
"What's that...?" I asked, nervously.
"To just accept our everything. We promise to love and protect you and your siblings." Sylvester said.
"We promise to stay by your side forever." Cole added.
"We promise to vanquish anyone who stands in the way of your happiness." Bellamy said.
"And we promise to give you everything we have to give, to ensure you stay healthy, happy, and whole." Ferdinand added finishing the pledge.
All of their eyes were glowing, and their pheromones were slowly growing thicker. Even if I didn't nod my head yes, I felt like my body would have answered honestly for me. My face was heating up in embarrassment, a quadruple proposal was bad for the heart. They all inhaled deeply, eyes widening.
"Call me crazy but, his pheromones... they smell different right? It's not just chocolate strawberries anymore..." Cole groaned.
"No... you're definitely right, it doesn't smell the same as before. There's like an added scent of champagne or something." Sylvester added.
"I wonder if this is the scent that emanates from you when you get to choose your partner. I feel like I'm getting drunk. It's literally intoxicating." Ferdinand said, releasing me.
Everyone looked extremely trepidatious now. They didn't know how to react, but unfortunately for them, their bodies did. Their pheromones flared to an ungodly amount. Triggering my heat in an instant, I was so shocked I could do nothing but writhe atop the bed. It was too strong and too fast, my body was burning as if my blood was actually boiling. My head was spinning as their scents mixed and mingled into one, and permeated my senses.
"Ungh... so... hot. T-Too... hot." I moaned.
