Chapter 163: Extra: Bana Laoch's Skills

Plundered skills include the target they were stolen from in parentheses. Not all skill descriptions are included (only the ones with story relevance so far).

Alesha's Skills, listed in order of acquisition:
Parasitism Lvl 1
Includes magic to harm another party while benefiting the caster (mostly linked debuffs)
Plunder Lvl 3
Skill Theft via bloodsucking. One cup of blood required per skill activation.
Troll's Regeneration (Troll) Lvl 14
Unless beheaded, the possessor of this skill will be able to regenerate any injury.
Night Vision (Beetleman) Lvl 3
Strong bones (Wooly Boar) Lvl 4
Quick Dash (Horned Rabbit) Lvl 2
Allows the possessor of this skill to surge forward up to five times their height in a fraction of a second.
HP Drain (Vampire) Lvl 2
Mana Drain (Vampire) Lvl 2
Gluttony (Han/Friedrich) Lvl 1
Allows the possessor of this skill to inherit part of a single, random status value of a killed opponent.
Chef's Eyes (Han/Friedrich) Lvl 5
The possessor of this skill can distinguish the best ingredients for cooking by sight. Next to a cooking ingredient, its age, ripeness, history, any magical properties and which recipes it is ideal for are displayed like in a gaming window
Keen Instincts (Elder Hare) Lvl 5
The possessor of this skill has a keen sense for danger and is very likely to notice an incoming attack (or ill intent) in time to do something about it
Battle Foresight (Oracle Deer) Lvl 8
The possessor of this skill has an uncanny ability to perceive the intentions of an attacker in the form of visions of their future actions overlaid on top of the present. The possessor of this skill instinctively understands how to use these future visions to their benefit, even in the midst of battle.
Improved Hearing (Elder Hare) Lvl 4
The hearing of the skill possessor is strengthened.
Healthy Blood (Orc) Lvl 2
The possessor of this skill is immune to most diseases, particularly diseases of the blood.

Melodious Voice (Igneus Salamander) Lvl 5
The possessor of this skill has a beautiful voice.
Fire Resistance (Igneus Salamander) Lvl 3
Normal fire will not harm the possessor of this skill unless exposed to bare flames for longer than a minute. Magical fire does less harm to the possessor of this skill than it should.
Cold Resistance (Frost Drake) Lvl 10
The possessor of this skill will not get frostbite unless exposed to temperatures far below freezing for longer than an hour. Magical cold will not affect the possessor of this skill as much as it should.
Presence Erase (Ghost Lynx) Lvl 2
Allows the possessor of this skill to temporarily erase all signs of their presence from low-level detection via senses, magic or skills
Life Detection (Five-Mouthed Crawler) Lvl 7
Allows the possessor of this skill to sense the aura of the living with great accuracy. Can detect life auras from up to 200 meters away, even through solid walls.
Impenetrable Defense (Lesser Tarasque) Lvl 10
The outermost layer of the possessor of this skill is magically reinforced.
Mental Fortitude (Psychic Grub) Lvl 8
Mental manipulation spells and skills are largely ineffective against the possessor of this skill.
Soulbound Wielder Lvl 1
A Wielder of the sword can be soul-linked to the sword by swearing a specific oath. Once the oath is sworn, the sword's wielder cannot be redesignated until the current wielder either dies or permits transferral of Wieldership. The Wielder of the sword can utilize all of the sword's skills whether or not they are physically in contact with the sword. This, however, depends upon the sword's will; if the sword refuses, the skills are not shared. The stats of the sword are granted to the sword's wielder in the form of a constant, passive buff effect regardless of the sword's will.
Sword Summon Lvl 1
The assigned Wielder of the sword can summon the sword into their hand so long as restraining magic of a higher level than this skill is not used to block the summoning (in a case where the two levels are equal, this skill succeeds)
Greater Dark Magic Resistance (Celestial Deer) Lvl 12
Curses and other manifestations of dark magic, such as undeath or the presence of the undead, will not affect the possessor of this skill unless they are of a higher level than this resistance.
Empowered Leap (Frogman) Lvl 3
Allows the possessor of the skill to jump up to 10 times the length of their body
Phase Shift (Crimson Displacer Beast) Lvl 11
Allows the possessor of the skill to teleport up to 20 meters away in any direction, leaving behind a tangible, sound-producing illusion that does not dissipate until attacked. The illusion behaves exactly as the skill possessor would have had they not teleported. The illusion lasts for up to five hours. Up to 2 illusions can exist simultaneously. Can be used up to 4 times in 20 minutes.
Hive Mind (Mind Flayer) Lvl 15
Connects the possessor of this skill to the Mind's "Hive Mind." The possessor of this skill is susceptible to the surveillance, manipulation, and control of the Mind.
Sleep (Mind Flayer) Lvl 11
The possessor of this skill can put other living things to sleep with just a thought. This sleep lasts for up to 5 hours.
Independent Mind (G14) Lvl 20
The possessor of this skill was an anomalous existence that refused to succumb to the Hive Mind. In order to protect its individuality, it attempted to break away; in time, it succeeded and in so doing, created this skill.
The possessor of this skill is completely immune to mental surveillance, manipulation, and control via "Hive Mind." The possessor of this skill is also immune to most other mental magic, including hypnosis, domination, emotional manipulation, subliminal control, mind reading, sleep, puppeteering, and ego sealing. However, any of these at a higher level than this skill will still affect the skill possessor.
