Chapter 17: The chosen one, Aramis appears
As Pump let out uncontrollable bitter laughter, something from the sky struck the ground like lightning.
It was such a hard blow that long rifts formed in the ground, the earthquake felt evenly shaken even those inside the castle, and the battlefield in front of the Wall was covered with clouds of dust.
With this shocking development, Ahmed strengthened his stance not to fall to the ground and tried to protect him from the painfully flying dust cloud by trying to cover his entire face with his flying red cloak.
But Pump's situation was still the same…
"Didn't I tell you only…" And through the cloud of dust, a frightening silhouette began to approach them. "just to recruit our comrade, Miha?" The male individual with a very deep voice looked at Scaar's corpse lying on the ground as the dust cloud got thinner. "You have unnecessarily killed players but you still haven't accomplished your main mission!" Just like his alliance members, the person with deep red eyes frowned and looked into Pump and Ahmed's eyes.
"What? We earned alliance points in the ME period dear Chosen One, is this bad?"
The Chosen One, chosen by The System and permanent King of the Erghon World's Server 1157, the leader of the BRe Alliance, Aramis had appeared…
Now that his confusion was gone, Ahmed's languid words didn't pique his interest, as he was still watching the images flashing in the eyes of his two subordinates. Aramis was one of the few who had noticed this detail long ago, but unlike Scaar, he didn't know what it meant. Because he was just another victim whose consciousness had been insidiously tampered with by the system. But unlike the others, he had noticed this long ago, and for now, he was just trying to understand this covert operation that the system was somehow carrying out in the shadows. All he knew was that these icons only appeared in the eyes of blood-eyed players when killing another player…
"Anyway…" He was aware that his subordinates had not committed this murder of their own will, but by being taken over for a few seconds by the system, and he did not drag the matter any further. He started walking slowly towards the gate of the GBR Keep. And when he got to the Gate, he stopped and looked at the barrier that Cave had just activated, raising his hand up into the sky. He then touched lightly to it, and the translucent barrier shattered like glass in an instant, echoing a shrill sound for miles away, and then it disappeared. "Let's go and finish this…"
With one final hesitation, Ahmed looked at Pump, who was still crying blood and laughing.
"Leave him. He has been completely lost mentally…" Aramis continued walking without looking back.

As soon as King Aramis and his two subordinates entered the Gate, obituaries began to be read, one after the other.
And after walking 300 meters, they had to stop because there was a lake of blood in front of them… And in the middle of this pool of blood, there were many corpses… The corpses of many players…
King Aramis again looked gravely at his subordinate.
"We were with you… The Chosen One… We are not the ones who did it. Maybe Vato's group…"
"No, they are not, naughty Ahmed!" A new player appeared from among the buildings and approached them with a mocking smile.
The Chosen One still had a serious expression and was watching the upcoming player who was no stranger to them.
"You sent a softy troop here to handle things, Aramis. What was their unit leader's name?" He waited a few seconds as if kidding. "Hah, Vato. Unexpectedly for a BRe unit, they somehow passed them without harming the BRe members and continued on their way. Since we are in the ME period, I did not let such delicious points go away and did what was necessary."
Aramis and Ahmed were still watching silently.
"What happened, the Almighty One? Didn't you like it when someone other than you and your people was slaughtering?"
"We are not the murderers!?" King Aramis renounced his silence.
As if hearing something shocking, the player suddenly stopped and his eyes widened to look at Aramis in surprise. "WHAT!!! YOU ARE NOT WHAT!!? HAH HA! HAH HAH HA!!!" The new player was laughing uncomfortably. "I guess your memory got blurred because you got old here. Those two killers of yours just killed someone outside a few minutes ago. We're also talking about the BRe Alliance here. You are the bloodiest alliance this land has ever known, you are the only reason this world has turned into a nightmare like this!!!"
"No, we are not…" Aramis started to move, walking towards him with heavy steps. "I declared you and your rebel friends KOS because it was you who caused unnecessary deaths. But you are already too far from the conscious control to be consulted."
"DAMN, YOU AND YOUR CURSED ALLIANCE!!!" And the KOS player took out his red sword and attacked Aramis.
This player was the 200M power player in the trio KOS gang who had a Ymir monster killing party when Ocean asked for help on World Chat. He and his other two friends killed everyone in this square, then the other two went after the Vato-led BRe troops and he was left behind. He stayed for the possibility of Pump and Ahmed coming, but the arrival of King Aramis made him even happier. Because months ago, they were declared KOS by him because they killed a few members in NAP, peacetime.
They claimed to be defending themselves, but the evidence showed otherwise, and from that day on they had constantly fled to survive, killing more players on their journey. And now he had the chance for revenge that he most desired.
But the difference in power between them was obvious, and his attack lasted only 2 seconds.
Not even his own subordinate Ahmed could see what Aramis did. In his view, Aramis had just kept walking, and his attacking enemy had shattered into pieces in the air. He hadn't even seen his formidable swords come out of the scabbard and, in a split second, smash his enemy into pieces and re-sheath them.
"Don't just stand there and stare." Not paying attention to the drops of blood falling on him, and without turning his head, Aramis kept walking, warning him. "If this one got here, so are his other two vulgar friends… Let's go!"
