Chapter 87: Dimensional Strike on the Martial Arts World

"My young lord is still in his youth, prone to occasional mischief. If he has offended you, I apologize on his behalf. Please, show him mercy."

The lama, quick to sense his opponent's overwhelming power, immediately lowered his stance.

Fearful as he was, the lama knew that if anything happened to the young lord here, both he and Liang Ziweng would be the first to suffer the consequences.

With his palms clasped in a prayer-like manner, his hands looked strangely reminiscent of Doraemon's rounded paws, causing the onlookers to stifle their laughter.

Young Lord?

Chu Yang glanced at the old man beside him, named Liang Ziweng. Realizing something, he asked, "Are you Master Lingzhi?"

The lama's face lit up, and he hastily replied, "Yes, I am!"

"This young man here is Wanyan Kang, son of Prince Zhao, Wanyan Honglie. Since you know my name, I assume you also know of Prince Zhao?"

Chu Yang chuckled, nodding, "Ah, so it's Prince Zhao. What a coincidence—I was just planning to visit him."

Master Lingzhi and Liang Ziweng exchanged glances, sharing the joy in each other's eyes.

Although the young lord was injured, the two anticipated that bringing back such a formidable, steel-trained expert would earn them commendation from Prince Zhao, rather than punishment.

Liang Ziweng cupped his hands, laughing, "What a mix-up! It seems you, too, want to pledge allegiance to Prince Zhao and serve the Jin Empire."

Relieved, Wanyan Kang nearly believed he was about to escape this place alive.

Yet before he could relax, Chu Yang's next words made his heart leap into his throat.

"Old man, it seems you misunderstood. I'm going to Prince Zhao's residence because my friend was abducted and taken there. I'm here to reclaim them."

Chu Yang smirked coldly, "The two of you should go back and tell Wanyan Honglie to bring my friend to me. Otherwise, he might lose his lineage today."

Wanyan Kang trembled in fear.

Liang Ziweng hurriedly helped the injured Wanyan Kang to his feet, while Master Lingzhi, after some hesitation, gritted his teeth and took a defensive stance before them.

"Might I know your friend's full name? I'll make sure to retrieve them, unharmed, once I return to the residence."

Wanyan Kang, pale-faced, could barely muster the strength to speak.

Chu Yang cast him a sidelong glance, saying, "My friend's surname is Huang. He's a small beggar."

These words left Wanyan Kang and his companions at a loss, unsure of how to respond.

A beggar?

Could it be possible that the esteemed Prince Zhao's residence would abduct a mere beggar?

Wanyan Kang forced a strained smile. "Surely you must be jesting…"

Chu Yang's smile was mocking. "If I wanted to joke around, it'd be more fun to hang the three of you from a tree for a few days and nights, wouldn't it?"

Master Lingzhi and Liang Ziweng shivered, realizing Chu Yang wasn't joking in the slightest.

Taking a deep breath, Wanyan Kang cupped his hands and said, "Please give me a moment. I will return and search every corner of the residence to find your friend and bring him to you."

Chu Yang shook his head. "I never said you could leave."

Wanyan Kang's expression froze, and an awkward tension settled over the group.

Slowly, Wanyan Kang, Master Lingzhi, and Liang Ziweng spread out, forming a triangular formation, appearing ready to make a final stand.

Suddenly, the sound of marching footsteps filled the area, accompanied by a rhythmic tremor.

Spectators quickly retreated to the sides of the road, making way for an approaching troop formation. At its center was a resplendent red sedan, which soon came to a stop in front of Wanyan Kang.

"Kang'er, what are you doing?"

A woman's soft, melodic voice, typical of a Jiangnan lady, floated from the sedan.

Wanyan Kang approached the sedan, whining in a pitiful tone about being bullied and asking for the troops to deal with Chu Yang.

The woman inside the sedan was none other than Wanyan Kang's mother, Bao Xiruo.

Knowing her son's temperament, Bao Xiruo suspected that he had likely stirred up trouble himself. So, no matter what he said, she declined his request to use the troops.

Bao Xiruo harbored resentment toward her role as a Jin princess, much less using Jin soldiers to bully others, as it crossed her moral boundaries.

Realizing he couldn't sway his mother, Wanyan Kang abandoned the idea of using the army, though their presence still bolstered his confidence.

He now addressed Chu Yang with a haughty sneer, a stark contrast to his earlier deference. "Out of respect for your skills, I treated you politely. But it seems you're insufferably arrogant."

"Now you have two options: either get lost or prepare to be taken back to the residence!"

Chu Yang regarded him with disdain. "I'm a petty man and will only give you one option: stay put and have someone fetch my friend."

Wanyan Kang narrowed his eyes, a murderous glint flashing within.

Inside the sedan, Bao Xiruo overheard their conversation and urgently called her son over, questioning him about the situation.

Wanyan Kang reluctantly explained Chu Yang's demand.

Bao Xiruo found it strange. How could the grand residence of Prince Zhao abduct a beggar?

She hesitantly said, "Kang'er, I think he may be here for you…"

Realizing his mother was beginning to sympathize with Chu Yang, Wanyan Kang's excitement surged as he quickly responded, "This man, relying on his martial skills, wants to use me to threaten Father! The story about his beggar friend is surely a fabrication!"

"We must apprehend this villain and hand him over to Father!"

Bao Xiruo lifted the curtain slightly, gazing at the scholarly Chu Yang. After a moment of hesitation, she nodded, "You may arrest him, but do not harm him. We'll decide right and wrong once we return to the residence."

Although Wanyan Kang wasn't pleased, he agreed, knowing his mother's compassionate nature.

After receiving her approval, Wanyan Kang signaled the guard captain, who immediately led a group of soldiers to surround Chu Yang.

The gathered civilians scattered, not wanting to get caught in the fray.

Meanwhile, a bald monk who had previously boasted on stage fled in terror.

Dressed in red, Mu Nianci ignored the fleeing monk, focusing solely on Chu Yang.

"Father, you were right! That seemingly gentle scholar is a formidable expert!"

Mu Nianci marveled, "He crushed that lama's cymbals with his bare hands!"

"He looks so young, not much older than me, yet his body-refinement skills are so remarkable!"

Hidden under the alias "Mu Yi," Yang Tiexin was already captivated by the sound coming from the sedan.

The gentle, wind-chime-like voice evoked memories of a serene home eighteen years ago in Niu Family Village.

The bustling stage momentarily transformed into his warm, cherished home.

"Brother Tie."

His virtuous wife seemed to stand before him, vividly lifelike, smiling gently.

Lost in a trance, Yang Tiexin instinctively reached out to touch her face.

The moment his fingers brushed her cheek, everything around him shattered like a mirage.

His home vanished! His wife, his child, his sworn brother Guo Xiaotian, his sister-in-law Li Ping—they were all gone!

Reality flooded back to Yang Tiexin, his eyes bloodshot and muscles taut with rage.

He fixed his gaze on that sedan.

In Mu Nianci's horrified gaze, Yang Tiexin grabbed a spear from the weapon rack, leaping off the stage without so much as a word, charging toward the sedan.

Only when he had bolted away did Mu Nianci realize what was happening, shouting, "Father, no!"

Consumed by his obsession, Yang Tiexin could no longer hear her cries. His sole aim was to see the wife he yearned for, no matter the obstacles ahead.

As the guard captain had ordered most soldiers to encircle Chu Yang, only a small squad of Jin soldiers blocked Yang Tiexin's path.

The open-and-shut style of the Yang Clan Spear, honed in battle, was even more effective against military formations than martial artists.

Despite his weakened state, Yang Tiexin easily tore through the thin line of Jin soldiers, advancing to within fifty paces of the sedan.

Only Wanyan Kang now stood between him and the sedan!

Furious, Wanyan Kang's eyes blazed with murderous intent.

After being humiliated by Chu Yang, he was fuming, and now this lowly performer dared challenge him.

Burning with rage, Wanyan Kang channeled his internal energy, forming his fingers into claws, exuding a chilling aura as he prepared to use the "Nine Yin White Bone Claw" to crush the middle-aged man's skull.

At that moment, Master Lingzhi and Liang Ziweng intervened, stopping Yang Tiexin.

If the young lord was injured, Wanyan Honglie might forgive them. But if the princess suffered, they would certainly face death.

With his hands still covered by cymbals, Master Lingzhi's strength was limited, making it hard to deal with Yang Tiexin alone.

In the midst of the intense three-way battle, Mu Nianci had also caught up.

Although she couldn't understand why her father was acting this way, she had only one thought in her mind: she needed to help Yang Tiexin face their enemies.

Unfortunately, Mu Nianci's martial skills were inferior to Yang Tiexin's, and she couldn't even break through the Jin soldiers' defenses, remaining helplessly trapped at a distance.

All she could do was watch as Yang Tiexin was repeatedly struck by Liang Ziweng and Master Lingzhi, coughing up blood with each blow.

"Isn't there anyone who can save my father?"

As she continued to fight against the Jin soldiers, Mu Nianci desperately prayed in her heart.

Meanwhile, under the orders of their leader, more soldiers launched an assault on Chu Yang.

The head guard, recognizing Chu Yang as a martial expert with formidable defense skills, directed the soldiers to wield long spears, attacking him from various angles in an attempt to locate his weak spot.

Experts with iron-like body defenses are rare, but each has a vulnerable point; once exposed, even a lifetime of accumulated skill is rendered useless.

Yet, as spearheads pierced towards him, Chu Yang watched calmly, unfazed.

Now with his Armament Haki, not only were ordinary weapons powerless, but even Shanks' famed sword, Gryphon, couldn't easily break through.

The moment the spear tips made contact with Chu Yang's robe, they splintered apart instantly.

In a powerful scene, dozens of spears shattered simultaneously. Jin soldiers, holding the stubs of their weapons, looked as if they were holding mere fire pokers.

The Jin soldiers were fairly well-trained, and as the front-row spearmen's weapons broke, they quickly fell back and reformed their ranks, allowing the rear-row spearmen to continue attacking.

One wave after another, the spears descended upon Chu Yang's body like raindrops.

Once in motion, the military formation was like a merciless killing machine, never halting.

Under normal circumstances, that is.

However, after seven or eight rounds of attacks, the Jin soldiers suddenly stopped, their hands holding what were now only fire pokers.

A sea of spearheads lay shattered on the ground...

The Jin soldiers froze, as did the guard leader and Wanyan Kang behind them.

Wanyan Kang flushed, choking out a single line after a long pause, "What kind of dark art is this?!"

Chu Yang glanced at him, a faint smirk on his lips. "You'll find out soon enough."

Wanyan Kang's mind buzzed with panic. For the first time in his life, he felt such intense fear.

Ignoring his mother's instructions, he shouted hysterically, "Attack him with fists, teeth—whatever it takes to kill him!"

The Jin soldiers dropped their broken spears, eyes red, and surged forward.

The young lord was enraged. If they failed to kill this scholar today, it would be their heads on the line tomorrow.

Chu Yang shook his head, his Conqueror's Haki erupting completely. An invisible golden storm swept around him.

Like a stone cast onto a calm lake, ripples of his Haki spread outward.
