Chapter 16: The Battle of Top Powerhouses

Crouching in the bushes with nothing to do, Chu Yang gazed up at the sky, trying to count the stars. However, the sky was covered with dark clouds, and no stars were visible.

Hashirama explained, "He's not dead."

Hearing that his younger brother was still alive, Madara's cold expression softened, and a hint of relief flickered in his eyes.

Madara said, "Hashirama, unless we settle this today, this war will never end. You desire peace, so let our fists decide."

Upon hearing this, Hashirama finally cast away his last bit of hope. He took a deep breath and prepared for battle.

Madara smiled. This was what he wanted to see — Hashirama fighting at full strength. All the previous skirmishes had been mere child's play.
