SSS Ranked Transmigration: Taming Beauties and The Beasts!

Chapter 1: Activating the System

In a humble wooden house, the crackling fire in the stone stove cast dancing shadows across the wooden walls, while the sound of distant conversations could be heard.

On a wooden bed slept a handsome young man, about 180 cm tall, dressed in a gorgeous black robe with white hair.

Cain awoke from his slumber, his blue eyes fluttering open to the scene of an unfamiliar place.

'Huh? Where is this? Didn't I drown in the sea because I had cramps while snorkeling before?' Cain thought to himself.

A second later, memories rushed into his mind.

"Oh, so I died and transmigrated into this body, which belonged to the youngest prince of the Elarion kingdom, who died after being poisoned and stabbed in the chest by his fiancee. What a sad way to die." Cain muttered to himself as he sat on the bed and looked around.

"Wait a second, Elarion Kingdom? This name sounds familiar. Lemme think…" Cain frowned, closing his eyes as he tried to recall his memory.

After a few moments, he finally recalled where he had heard about this kingdom's particular name.

Elarion Kingdom was apparently just the name of a kingdom that would be destroyed in a novel that he had read a few years ago.

He remembered the place only because one of the strongest characters, who would later become a companion of the protagonist, originated from here.

In the novel, that person hadn't awakened his talent yet. It wasn't until after the kingdom's destruction that he left for a neighboring realm to undergo the awakening ceremony.

Cain sighed after recalling as much as he could from the novel. "I only remember the important stuff. I read it years ago, and it wasn't even finished at the time. I got distracted by other novels and never picked it back up."

'However, the most important thing that I could remember is when the era of God comes. So, I have to prepare for that time as there would be countless opportunities, which I shouldn't miss if I want to survive at that time since this world would become chaotic and I need to become strong as soon as possible.' Cain's eyes lit up as he thought of his main plan.

He then thought of an idea and talked in his heart, "System? Are you there? My cheat ability? Hello? I'm awake now, can you grant me the cheat or something?"

After a few moments of silence, Cain's face became solemn as he thought that he was doomed because he didn't receive his cheat system like any other protagonist when they were transmigrated into a novel.

'Fck, Seriously? No system or something? Am I just an extra doomed to be cannon fodder?" He cursed inwardly but soon shook his head.

"No. I refuse to accept that."

Cain had been so focused on the idea of getting a system that he'd momentarily forgotten about the fact that the prince hadn't awakened his talent. The prince had chosen to avoid the kingdom's power struggle, preferring a quiet life instead.

In this world, most people awakened their talents at the age of 18 during an official ceremony. But as a prince, Cain could use the kingdom's awakening stone whenever he wished.

The problem was, the prince was supposed to be "dead," and whoever wanted him gone likely knew it. He couldn't just return to the palace recklessly without a plan.

"Crack.."

When Cain was still thinking about his plan, he heard a slight cracking sound and immediately looked in the door direction.

Cain then noticed a cute little girl with pointy ears, indicating that she was an elf, and she appeared to be around 9 years old, dressed in plain worn-out brown clothes and heading inside the house with a bucket of water in her small hands.

When she found Cain sitting on the bed, she exclaimed in amazement,

"Ahhh! You're awake!"

"Why are you sitting up? You need to lie down and rest so your wounds can heal faster!" She then dropped the bucket of water and ran with a worried expression towards him.

When Cain saw that, he felt a sudden warmth in his heart, mixed with sadness.

The little girl reminded him of his younger brother back on Earth, who would have been about her age if he were still alive.

But then he became confused when he realized that the little girl mentioned his wounds when he didn't feel any pain and felt that his body was perfectly fine.

"What are you talking about? I'm fine." Cain fist bumped his chest and stood up to let the little girl see that he was fine.

The little girl was cutely dumbfounded, with her mouth opening wide as she couldn't believe what she saw.

"What about your wounds in your chest? Is it already healed?" The little girl asked with a confused face as she remembered that yesterday when the people in the village helped in changing Cain's clothes back after she washed it since it was full of blood before, the wound was still there and hadn't healed.

'Oh, right. I was stabbed by that bitch before.' Cain then checked his body and found that there was no wound, but there were still bandages enveloping his chest.

After talking for a while, Cain learned that the girl's name was Sylvia.

She explained that she had found him floating in a river while fishing and had pulled him to shore.

Fortunately, the river was a small river, the current was not strong, and his body was near the shore, so Sylvia helped him to the shore quite easily.

She then checked his condition and knew that he was still alive, but she immediately became afraid and confused when she saw that he had stab wound in his chest.

As she didn't know what to do, Sylvia then ran as fast as she could towards the village, as she wanted to find help from the others.

"So, Big Brother Cain… What are you going to do now that you're healed?" Sylvia asked anxiously as she bit her lower lip cutely.

"Well, I have some business in Eldoria City, so I'll be heading there." Cain replied with a smile as he knew what Sylvia was worried about.

Her older sister had left as she wanted to find a job in the capital four years ago, because she was already 15 years old at the time and have to start paying taxes if she wanted to stay in the village anyway, that's why she decided to go there so that she could also save some money for Sylvia's future.

In this world, you will be given shelter and food if you are an orphan, which was the case to Sylvia and her big sister since their mother died when she gave birth to Sylvia and their dad died when he was hunting a spirit beast as he was a warrior a few years after their mother died.

"Don't worry, I will be back here after I'm done with my business there." Cain patted Sylvia's head softly as she was reminding him of his deceased little brother and his own situation back then on Earth.

"Really? But my sister had also said that and still hasn't come back even after 4 years." Sylvia said with a sad face as she was about to cry too.

"I promise I will be back after I'm done with my business, I will even help you find your sister later." Cain petted her hair as he tried to console her so that she wouldn't cry.

"Really? You promise you will come back and help me find my sister?" Sylvia's eyes lit up when she heard that Cain was even trying to help her find her older sister.

"Yeah, I promise." Cain nodded with a smile as he rubbed Sylvia's hair.

"Thank you, Big Brother Cain." Sylvia then jumped into Cain's arms and hugged him, as she really felt grateful towards Cain.

…

"What are you doing, Sylvia?" Cain asked when he noticed that Sylvia went under the bed, taking out a bucket before looking like she was watering something in the bucket.

"Huh? I am just feeding the egg that I found a few months ago." Sylvia then answered as she looked at Cain, who was grilling two fish in front of the stone stove.

"Feeding an egg? what do you feed it with?" Cain asked as he was curious.

"Of course with water since I don't have a lot of money and don't know what eggs usually eat." Sylvia replied as she looked at Cain innocently.

Cain only laughed and shook his head before continuing to ask, "What egg is that? Can I see it?"

Cain became interested as he knew that this world was filled with beast masters who tamed a strong beast to become their contracted beast.

However, he was only interested because this would be the first time he would see a beast egg if the egg that Sylvia found was the beast egg, and he knew that even if the egg was one, the beast was probably a weak beast.

"Wow, what a beautiful beast egg." Cain said as he looked at the egg in the bucket that was as white as snow, and the egg had a bumpy structure that looked like a scale.

Cain then moved his hand as he wanted to touch the egg.

However, what he didn't expect was that as soon as his fingers made contact, a mechanical voice echoed in his mind, and a translucent display appeared before him.
