The lizard noticed that this Low-level Platinum beast attacked it and immediately counterattacked by using its skill [Fireball] as it opened its mouth and formed a meter big fireball before launching it to interrupt the incoming ice spike.

A quite loud explosion erupted from the place where the fireball and ice spike collided, creating a lot of steam.

Looking at the steam and feeling that the lizard didn't continue its counterattack.

Nix immediately used his [Ice Spike] skill once again.

However, this time he decided to become more serious and made 10 ice spikes, each two meters-long at once and immediately aimed them once again towards the carcass.

The lizard, who felt that there was another round of attack coming towards it, immediately counterattacked again.

This time, it became serious as it could feel the danger and immediately opened its mouth, forming a big 5 meters of fireball and releasing it towards the incoming attack.

The lizard immediately retreated as it jumped back when it felt that its attack couldn't block all of the incoming attacks.

However, the shockwave indirectly changed the ice spikes' trajectory and made only one of the ice spikes hit the carcass and freeze it completely while another hit the ground near the carcass.

Nix immediately roared when he felt that he had achieved his purpose of freezing the carcass and letting the lizard fight with it fairly as he was pissed off with its attitude.

"Roar!"

Nix's roar instantly dispersed the surrounding steam and gave Cain and the others a clear view.

Looking at the frozen carcass, the lizard became enraged and made a loud hissing sound before immediately charging at Nix.

As their distance was not far, the lizard had immediately arrived in front of Nix as it swung its right claw, aiming it at Nix's neck while using its [Fire Claw] skills, forming extended fire claws.

In response, Nix also used his [Ice Claw] skills, and swung his right claw as he also welcomed to compete in strength when he looked at the lizard who charged at him madly.

When their claws hit each other, the lizard was pushed back around 10 meters while Nix was pushed back around 6 meters.

Realizing that it had lost in strength, it immediately went all out as it opened its mouth and used its [Fireball] skill, forming a huge 10 meters big fireball in front of his mouth.

Unfortunately for the lizard, Nix's attribute level and mana were higher than it had, resulting in the ice spike blasting through the fireball and continuing towards the lizard at a fast speed before hitting its head.

Nix roared again to disperse the steam before approaching the dead lizard, whose front body was pierced by the huge ice spike.

When Nix arrived in front of the dead body, he used his remaining mana for using his [Ice Breath] skill to freeze the entire body before roaring loudly as he was proud of himself.

"Nix, why did you freeze the lizard's body?" Cain asked as the trio arrived in front of Nix, who put his right foot on the frozen dead body proudly.

Nix responded with a growl as he explained to Cain that he froze the body so that its body wouldn't spoil and could be saved for a long time.

Cain laughed at Nix's response before instantly being happy as he heard the notifications that he had been waiting for.
