Chapter 130: The Evolving Martial Art

Resting on the bathtub, Masa stared at the ceiling of his bathroom absentmindedly, never imagining having such a wild night in his entire life.

Fighting, fighting, and fighting.

It was good, he thought.

Yes, it was good, especially with what he gained today.

Not only was his business about to expand and shoot out like a rocket to space, but he also had gained many unique martial arts.

The biker gang aside, the knowledge he gained from Tokita Ohma and Hanayama Kaoru was good.

Tokita Ohma was a clone of a certain character in the Kengan Verse, and at the same time, he also mastered a certain unique technique that allowed him to grow stronger by overclocking his heart, but there was this unique martial art of this world, Niko Style.

Many might say that there were many stronger martial arts, such as the Rokushiki, in the world of One Piece, but Masa had to say the Niko Style was a unique, adaptable martial art that could be used in many situations.

Many might say that the Niko Style was probably like MMA but with an Eastern influence, but Masa had to say differently since if he made a comparison, then MMA would be like a giant toolbox that had many tools that could be used in many situations, but the Niko Style would be like a universal tool that could be used in many situations.

If MMA was many, then Niko Style was only one.

So, who was stronger?

It was hard to answer, but if Masa had to say, everything depended on the user since no matter how strong the martial art, if the user was shit, then it would be shitty.

However, in Masa's hands, he believed that this Niko Style could shine even further.

Then, there was also Hanayama, this simple guy who only thought of being strong, but unfortunately, this guy provoked the wrong person, so don't expect Masa to be as gentle as the others.

Masa didn't care about the development of the story at all since his purpose in this world was to create the best martial art for all of Masa and create his own power, so all of his enemies had to disappear.

Still, while it might be strange for him to say this, Masa felt that Hanayama and Garp from One Piece were quite similar.

If Garp was weaker, then there was no doubt his strength would be like Hanayama's, especially since Hayanama's signature punch was quite similar to Garp's "Galaxy Impact" by combining the grip, weight, and speed, creating a destructive impact by using his fist.

Once again, the physical ability of the character in One Piece was crazy, but if this world had a similar power, then it would be hard to determine who was stronger, especially when he thought since Hanayama existed in this world, that "person" should exist, too, right?

Yet, even if that "person" existed, Masa didn't think too much about it since he knew well that his focus should be developing a suitable martial art for all of Masa.

By this point, he had collected a lot of good information by using the ability of Pika Pika no Mi, by downloading the knowledge of important characters within his mind.

As for how he was able to do all of that without being discovered, it was easy since he could control a hologram, so no one could tell what was happening, nor did they realize their knowledge was stolen from them.

Still, should Masa get the Memo Memo no Mi?

'Hmm... let's think about that later.'

Nevertheless, Masa knew that he had a lot of good material to develop a new martial art.

The knowledge of Machio Naruzo, the Rikudou from Hongou Hina, and lastly, the Niko Style from Tokita Ohma.

By combining the three martial arts, Masa felt that he could develop further, especially with the Niko Style as the basis.

'Niko Style...'

This was a martial art that grew stronger as the user was creative.

The origin aside, this martial art has four kata: Adamantine, Flame, Redirection, and Water.

Each kata has an "ultimate technique," which is not necessarily the most powerful technique but rather an "ace in the hole," and it can be used no matter what condition the user is in.

Masa didn't care much about the "Ultimate Technique" or "aces in the hole," but then, he felt that he could develop those four kata into something different as each of them had their own characteristics.

Adamantine involves tightening the muscles (thus hardening one's body) for defensive and offensive purposes.

Flame is centered around movement and positioning, giving the user incredible speed and agility.

Redirection involves seeing and manipulating the "flow of power," using minimal motions to turn the opponent's attacks against them.

Water is a grappling-based kata that emphasizes flexibility and fluidity of motion.

'Those four can even be combined with the Rokushiki.'

For example, the Adamantine is quite similar to "Tekkai (Iron Body)," which allows their body to harden.

The Flame is also quite similar to "Soru (Shave)," which allows the user to gain incredible speed.

"Kami-e (Paper Art)," which allows the user to have superhuman flexibility, is quite similar to the combination of Redirection and Water that manipulates the power of flow and emphasizes fluidity and flexibility.

Nevertheless, Masa felt that there shouldn't be a grappling technique in the world of One Piece, but considering the physical ability of the people of One Piece, he also felt that a submission or grappling technique was like suicide, especially if the user overestimated the physical difference, and at the same time, the faster one to kill, the better it was, right?

The martial arts of One Piece might be simple, but they are effective and dangerous.

If Masa had to say, it would be like the ancient martial art formed when a human could only rely on their body to fight instead of using weapons.

'If I can combine all the martial arts,'

By then, the strongest martial art would be born.

Still, even if the martial arts of this world were quite good, in terms of swordsmanship, the world of One Piece was definitely on a higher level, he thought.

Anyway, his focus was on bare-handed martial arts, but then again, was there even the best martial art in this world?

'No.'

Instead, Masa believed that there was no best martial art since every martial art had a different advantage depending on the situation. Instead, what he needed to develop was an adaptable martial art that could evolve as he faced various situations, whether it was a duel, against many, armed, or many other situations.

Still, as he was in deep thought, a voice interrupted his thoughts.

"Masa, are you still inside?"

"Ah, yes, Nozomi-nee."

Masa thought that he had stayed in the bathroom too long, but then again, unlike in the past, their current house had a lot of bathrooms, and at this moment, he was in the bathroom inside his room, so why was his older sister outside his bathroom?

Yet, before he could come up with an answer, his thoughts quickly stopped when he saw large bare boobs with two perky pink nipples that suddenly appeared before him.

"It's been a while. Let's take a bath together."

With such a nonchalant attitude, his stepsister, Nozomi, invited him to take a bath together.

"..." Masa.
