In the end, the Mantis Worm was brutally defeated by Tendō Sōji, leaving no trace behind.

As ‘Si Mu’ transformed into the Mantis Worm, others in the vicinity also revealed their true Worm forms. Most of them were in their larval stage, except for five adult Worms, which were Mantises. Altogether, there were six adult Worms and over thirty larvae present, constituting a significant force.

If they were to launch a direct attack on the city’s human population, it would bring unimaginable disaster to Yancheng.
