Chapter 18: Sealing the Ghost (2)
It was chaotic for a while before someone finally formed the runes and then sealed the ghost away.
Aya watched this scene and her lips twitched.
Sealing magic was the branch from magic formations. They found that the formation could trap others to a certain degree and then developed it so that they could put it into special paper. Later on, by using this paper, they could seal others within it.
So even though it was actually using runes, people were used to call it as sealing magic.
Aya didn't care too much about it.
What she was thinking about right now was…
How the hell are there not many people who know sealing magic in the White Family?
Looking at the barely constructed sealing scroll in front of her…
Aya sighed deeply.
She felt that she had underestimated the height of the magic in this era. In her era, the White Family might not be an expert in sealing before the ghost appeared and everyone was forced to learn the runes and sealing magic. But it was definitely a hundred times better than this seal skill.
Gah!
What in the world happened in the next hundred years that allowed the magic to advance so much?
Aya's expression kept on changing, which looked rather strange.
The closest person to her, Evan, didn't realize anything because he was watching the sealing process in front of him along with Leon, who was no longer struggling while being tied up by Silas's shadow magic.
On the other hand, Silas noticed Aya's strange expression and showed a thoughtful look.
Bang!
"Patriarch, it's done!"
They finally finished sealing the strange black creature. However, they could see that the runes were slowly being corroded. The white scroll were turning black and they quickly strengthened the runes through pouring their magic.
But even then, this would not last long.
"Give this scroll to the Fourth Head."
White Family Patriarch didn't think that he was capable enough to handle this strange creature on his own. Rather than keeping it in his hand, it would be better to toss this to Wansu City Head. He should be able to do something with it.
"Yes!"
As one of the White Family Patriarch ran to deliver the scroll at the fastest speed possible, even to the point of activating his inheritance magic, White Family Patriarch looked at Black Family Patriarch who had arrived.
"Sorry for involving your son in this incident," White Family Patriarch said.
"It's not your fault." Black Family Patriarch shook his head. He heard commotion from the White Family Residence and rushed here, breaking inside. "Sorry for breaking in, but I would like to take my son and nephew back."
"Yes, sure."
The other people who were there watched the two family heads, who usually would bicker to no end when they met, were talking amicably with each other.
They wondered if the sky had collapsed or something.
Aya pursed her lips slightly.
She knew very well that they should have realized the extraordinariness of the ghost and decided to put away their hatred for the time being.
It was good.
'I should find some time to check outside…'
Aya looked outside and sighed deeply. It seemed that she would have to use the 'system' to strengthen herself for a much longer time. In this way, the amount of magic she could use would be very little for an extended period of time.
Oh well, so be it.
