Succubus System At Hogwarts

Chapter 46: (46) Cassandra Has A Long Future Ahead Of Her

The next day, Ian appeared at the Slytherin table with a pair of black eyes.

"Prefect Potter! You really beat the troll! This is so...eh?"

Theodore stopped praising him halfway.

He looked at Ian with a worried look on his face: "Prefect, are you okay? Didn't you sleep well? Why do you have dark circles?"

"Ah? Is it obvious?" Ian touched his eyes, where there was a dark circle.

"Very obvious, you look like you went to steal last night." Blaise nodded sincerely.

"What? Ian, you went to steal something last night?" Draco, who was halfway listening, turned his head and looked at Ian in surprise.

They were in the same dormitory, how could he not know that Ian went to steal in the middle of the night?

"Hey! Why are you all calling me a thief?!! I just didn't sleep well last night!" Ian rolled his eyes and said unhappily.

He did not sleep well last night, but he did not go to steal, it's just that his dream was a little...

He first dreamed of Hermione. The little girl looked at him with an accusing look on her face, saying that she had come first, so why did he give his heart to another girl?

Ian was about to explain, but the scene suddenly changed, and Cassandra appeared in his dream again.

The little noble lady also had an accusing look on her face, saying that Ian was a liar, and he kissed her, but he didn't dare to admit that he liked her.

Ian's mouth was almost dry, and he didn't coax the two of them. He also caused Hermione and Cassandra to give him an "Avada Kedavra" together, which scared him awake.

After waking up, Ian couldn't sleep no matter how hard he tried and appeared in the great hall with a pair of panda eyes.

"Oh, you really couldn't have slept well due to being excited, right? After all, you are the hero who defeated the troll!" Draco looked proud.

Ian: Thank you, but can you not mention this title? It's very shameful, okay?

"I was just thinking about life." Ian yawned.

After he woke up last night, he had been thinking about how to make Hermione and Cassandra live in peace.

After all, if the harem is well managed, then it is Heaven, and if it is not well managed, then it will become a living hell!

Being killed by his own girlfriends...

Ian shuddered subconsciously, he didn't want to die so early.

"Isn't there a Quidditch match this afternoon? Have you practiced?" Ian changed the subject and mentioned the afternoon match.

"Don't worry, I will win!" Draco patted his chest confidently.

"That's good." Ian nodded and saw a sneaky figure in his peripheral vision.

It was Professor Quirrell.

He looked around with fear on his face, as if he was afraid of something.

Ian frowned imperceptibly, Quidditch match, in the original plot line, Quirrell should have thought about killing Harry...

Tsk!

Now there is one more savior, there is no need to think too much, Voldemort must want to catch them both in one fell swoop.

After all, no one wants to face two difficult saviors after resurrection.

Thinking of this, Ian's eyes darkened.

It seems that when he is in the second year, he should go to his dear Tom to learn more about black magic to make up for the loss brought to him by Voldemort.

"Ian? Ian!" Draco waved his hand in front of Ian's face. "What are you thinking about?"

"Ah? Nothing," Ian said, snapping back to reality. He shook his head. "I'm just thinking about the troll from yesterday."

"Ah? Do you want to fight it again?" Draco clapped his hands as if he'd made a brilliant deduction. "I know! You must want everyone to see your strength with their own eyes, right? I understand you!"

Ian's mouth twitched. "You know nothing! What I mean is that the troll must have been deliberately let in by someone. There's definitely a conspiracy!"

Draco's expression froze. "Okay... that does seem plausible."

"So, we have to be careful." Ian's gaze drifted toward Professor Quirrell, who was seated at the teachers' table. His tone carried a hint of suspicion. "I've got a feeling someone's trying to harm us."

"That's right! Ian, you're absolutely right!" Draco said, nodding fervently. "I'll be careful too!"

Ian nodded, then yawned. "I'm done eating. I'm so sleepy—I'll go back and take a nap first. See you at the game this afternoon."

With that, Ian stood, stretched, and left the Great Hall.

He really needed to catch up on some rest; otherwise, he wouldn't have the energy to handle any emergencies during the afternoon Quidditch match.

Cassandra, who had been sitting quietly and avoiding Ian's gaze, finally looked up as he left.

Her eyes followed his retreating figure.

Pursing her lips, she stood abruptly and walked quickly toward the hall's exit, her sudden movement drawing surprised looks from everyone around her.

"Cassandra, where are you going?" Pansy asked, frowning with concern.

"I'm just stepping out for a bit. I'll be back soon," Cassandra replied without turning around.

Cassandra quickly walked out of the Great Hall and spotted Ian not far ahead.

"Ian!" Her brisk walk turned into a jog as she caught up to him.

"Huh? Cassandra? Why are you out too?" Ian asked, turning his head to look at her in surprise.

"I... I also want to go back to catch up on some sleep," Cassandra lied. She couldn't possibly admit she had followed him just because she wanted to be near him.

Ian nodded without suspicion.

"Alright, let's go together."

Cassandra smiled but said nothing, walking side by side with Ian back toward the Slytherin dormitory.

The two didn't speak much on the way, but the silence between them didn't feel awkward. Instead, a strange yet pleasant atmosphere seemed to linger in the air.

Ian glanced at Cassandra from time to time, as though wanting to say something but unsure of how to begin.

Meanwhile, Cassandra's cheeks were faintly flushed, and she nervously twisted her fingers together. She was also debating whether to bring up the kiss and their current relationship.

In the end, it was Ian who broke the silence.

"Will you come to watch my game this afternoon, Cassandra?" he asked, touching his nose awkwardly.

Ian already knew Cassandra didn't like Quidditch. She had often said the sport was too violent and lacked elegance.

Cassandra was stunned for a moment. She subconsciously raised her head and met Ian's deep eyes.

She could clearly see her own shy and expectant expression reflected in them.

In that moment, Cassandra suddenly decided to stop overthinking.

Lifting her chin slightly, she looked directly at Ian and said seriously, "Ian, I'll go watch. I just want to cheer you on."

Hearing her earnest response, Ian chuckled. "Alright then, I'll make sure to work hard. Cheer for me, young lady."

Cassandra's cheeks turned even redder. She opened her mouth to speak but found herself unable to find the right words to express her emotions.

Instead, she raised her hand, gently grasped Ian's sleeve, and nodded slightly.

Ian was momentarily stunned. Looking at the shy yet resolute expression on Cassandra's face, he felt a subtle flutter in his chest.

But then he remembered the dream and quickly pushed the feeling aside. Smiling gently, he raised his hand and lightly covered Cassandra's. "Let's go, young lady. I'll walk you back to your dormitory."

Cassandra's face flushed deeper, but she didn't refuse. She nodded quietly and let Ian guide her to the Slytherin girls' dormitory.

The two of them were silent all the way, but the atmosphere was more ambiguous than before.

Ian stopped at the door of the girls' dormitory.

"I'm here, Ian," Cassandra said softly, her lips slightly pursed.

"Yeah, I know." Ian smiled and gently let go of Cassandra's hand. "See you in the afternoon, Miss."

With that, Ian turned and walked away, leaving Cassandra standing alone, her cheeks flushed as she watched his retreating figure.

She didn't look away until Ian disappeared around the corner. Only then did she turn and step into the dormitory.

Cassandra lay on her bed, staring up at the ceiling, a sweet smile playing on her lips.

Ian, there is a long way to go.
