Supreme Dragon Seal

Chapter 121: Ruins

Jin Gang punched through the air, shattering rocks in the process. Suddenly, a burst of blue light emerged with the flying debris, bringing a bone-chilling coldness with it.

The Iron Armored Fire Dragon breathed out flames, and the blue light burst with a sharp sound and dissipated into mist, but it revealed a hint of fear in its eyes.

“What the hell is that?” Qi Bei furrowed his brows and flashed towards the hole created by Jin Gang’s punch, peering inside.

As he looked, Qi Bei was startled to see a boiling blue viscous substance below the cliff.

“This is…magma?” Qi Bei was shocked. It should be magma, except it was a blue, cold magma.

This was too strange. Magma was molten rock formed by high temperatures in the earth’s core, presenting a fiery red color like molten iron.

However, this magma was blue and filled with a strong sense of coldness.

The blue magma rolled and occasionally splashed. When it landed on the cliff, it turned into small blue flames.

Suddenly, several blue lights shot out of the blue magma, heading towards the hole.

Qi Bei waved his black longsword, and his internal energy turned into a golden flame, sweeping towards the blue lights. Just like before, the blue lights burst with a sharp sound and turned into mist.

These blue lights seemed to be some form of life within the blue magma.

At that moment, the blue magma below began to surge violently. Qi Bei had a moment of confusion and seemed to see struggling hands reaching out from the magma. A voice came from nowhere, “Save me, save me…”

Suddenly, Qi Bei’s eyes shone with a faint golden light, and the clear sound of a dragon’s roar broke the spell. He snapped out of it, feeling frightened by how close he had come to being deceived.

“Seal up this hole,” Qi Bei leaped back onto the Iron Armored Fire Dragon’s back.

Jin Gang’s arms instantly swelled and he chopped the front end of a huge rock into a sharp point with his palm like a knife. Then he lifted the huge rock and inserted it into the hole with force, completely sealing it up.

“Who knows what this blue and cold magma is?” Qi Bei asked.

The four of them shook their heads. They had never heard of this kind of magma before.

“Let’s go find Xiao Jiu and Yan Fangfei,” Qi Bei glanced at the blocked hole, still feeling a bit uneasy about the voice.

Under Qi Bei’s command, the Iron Armored Fire Dragon began to move deeper.

The Iron Armored Fire Dragon was the overlord of this cliff, and as they passed by, many ferocious beasts and monsters fled far away.

However, the area beneath the cliff was not enclosed on all sides. It was surprisingly vast, and they couldn’t see the end of it at a glance.

But as Qi Bei experimented, no matter where they went, they could not fly up after reaching a certain height. The bottom of the cliff and the top of the cliff seemed to be separated by an energy shield, like two different worlds. With such a large area, it was not easy to find Xiao Jiu and Yan Fangfei.

But the further they went, the higher the temperature became. In the back, the air seemed to be burning, becoming hazy. Inhaling it was like breathing in a flame.

Qi Bei didn’t feel anything, but the other four were not so relaxed. They were sweating profusely and drinking water constantly along the way.

Fortunately, Qi Bei was more cautious than Yan Fangfei. When he left, he not only stored a large amount of food in his spatial ring, but also stored a large amount of drinking water.

The trees and weeds in front gradually disappeared, and everything was brown soil and rocks.

“Master, let’s split up and search,” Thirteen suggested.

“Okay,” Qi Bei agreed. After they could no longer see any plants in front of them, this place seemed to have become a dead zone. So far, they had not seen any living creatures, so it was unlikely that any life would survive in such a harsh environment. As long as they proceeded, there should not be any more danger

The five of them split up. Since only Qi Bei could control the Iron Armored Fire Dragon, he had to let Sa Lingling, who was the weakest, follow Thirteen.

Qi Bei sat on the head of the Iron Armored Fire Dragon, scanning the cliff in front of him. He felt that being near the cliff could provide a sense of security in this kind of environment.

“Help me, help me…” Suddenly, a voice floated into Qi Bei’s mind. This time, the voice was a soft and seductive female voice.

“Yao Rao.” Qi Bei was stunned for a moment. It was Yao Rao’s seductive voice that penetrated his soul. But soon, Qi Bei shook his head forcefully. This couldn’t be possible!

His heart sank. This voice seemed to be planted in his soul and occasionally emerged to disturb his mind.

Qi Bei took out a few Life Hearts and Death Hearts from his spatial ring and played with them to distract himself.

Suddenly, the Iron Armored Fire Dragon stopped in its tracks and made a low growling sound from its throat. Saliva dripped from its mouth, and its eyes were filled with human-like desire.

“Do you want a Death Heart?” Qi Bei held up a Death Heart and waved it in front of the dragon’s eyes.

The Iron Armored Fire Dragon shook its head vigorously, almost knocking Qi Bei off.

“Then you must want a Life Heart. Hehe, this thing is extremely valuable. What will you trade for it?” Qi Bei laughed. He knew that this big guy could understand most of what he said. An eighth-level magic beast had a high level of intelligence.

The Iron Armored Fire Dragon begged with low growls, but it didn’t have anything to trade.

“Forget it, I’ll give you one as a reward for being so obedient.” Qi Bei threw a Life Heart down, and the Iron Armored Fire Dragon caught it and swallowed it whole.

Qi Bei was amazed. Could Life Hearts be digested in the stomach like that?

The Iron Armored Fire Dragon made a few happy cooing sounds, seemingly thanking Qi Bei.

After walking for a long time, Qi Bei suddenly slapped his head and said to himself, “I must have been too clever. I can’t find it, but Yan Fangfei’s magic pet, Jinzi, should always have a connection with its owner.”

Qi Bei recited a spell and released the Golden Lion King from his Beast Ring.

As soon as Jinzi appeared, it let out a frightened roar and jumped far away, looking at the Iron Armored Fire Dragon with terror in its eyes.

The Iron Armored Fire Dragon didn’t even bother to look at Jinzi, and if it weren’t for Qi Bei summoning it, it would have already roasted and eaten Jinzi with a burst of flames.

“Jinzi, don’t just be afraid, take me to find your owner,” Qi Bei said. Although the intelligence of a sixth-level magic beast was not very high, but because Qi Bei held the Beast Ring, his thoughts could still be understood by it.

Jinzi ran around with its four legs, and soon it suddenly turned around and roared at Qi Bei, as if it had found something.

Qi Bei approached and found a piece of bloody clothing, which was definitely dropped by Yan Fangfei.

At this moment, Qi Bei suddenly heard the sound of water. Jinzi also heard it and was apparently sensing something, running towards the direction of the sound.

Turning a corner around a huge rock, Qi Bei suddenly found himself in a mist of water. The Iron Armored Fire Dragon he rode on was standing on water that was constantly evaporating due to the high temperature, forming hot steam.

Qi Bei felt that something was not right. He hadn’t seen any mist of water before. He turned around and found that the huge rock had disappeared, leaving only the lingering mist of water behind.

Qi Bei instructed the Iron Armored Fire Dragon to step back a few steps, but they could no longer find a way out. Just then, Jinzi’s figure flashed in the mist of water, and he turned his head and roared at Qi Bei, as if he had discovered something.

At this point, Qi Bei could only move forward. He believed that Jin Gang and the others would follow his path to look for him when they found that he had not returned to meet up with them. The huge rock and the sound of water would definitely catch their attention.

Following Jinzi for a while, the swirling mist suddenly dissipated. Qi Bei was stunned, staring blankly at the scene in front of him.

It was an ancient ruin. The ground was paved with smooth diamonds, and it was covered with broken stone tablets, totem pillars and even weeds. It could be seen that this place used to be a huge square.

Qi Bei jumped off the back of the Iron Armored Fire Dragon and gently tapped the ground with his hand. A soft force pushed all the debris and dust on the ground to the sides.

Instantly, the diamond floor was revealed, shining like a mirror.

Diamond, known as the hardest mineral, couldn’t even be polished to a mirror-like finish in the present day.

At this point, Qi Bei’s gaze was suddenly attracted by a damaged totem pole.

“Goblins?” Qi Bei muttered to himself. Wasn’t the carving on it the likeness of a goblin?

Qi Bei suddenly remembered something and waved his hand, producing a sheepskin scroll. It was the map of the goblin civilization ruins given to him by Mi Qi.

Then, Qi Bei took out a blood-red potion made by Mi Qi and applied it to the scroll.

In an instant, the pattern on the sheepskin scroll began to fade away, and a new pattern appeared on it. However, Qi Bei was a little disappointed because the new map indicated that the entrance was not in this area.

But then, Qi Bei thought that since there was a complete goblin civilization ruin in the Savage Wastelands, it proved that goblins had existed in this area millions of years ago. Who said there could only be one civilization ruin?

At this moment, Jinzi appeared from a pile of rubble, growled at Qi Bei, and then ran towards the depths.

Qi Bei followed with his Iron Armored Fire Dragon and arrived at the end of this goblin plaza. There was a huge sloping entrance leading to the underground, with exquisite and complicated flower patterns carved on it.

At the entrance, Qi Bei found some bloodstains again. The bloodstains could not be from millions of years ago, and even though they were dry and solidified, he could tell by just smelling them that they had not existed for more than seven days.

The entrance was large enough for even the huge body of the Iron Armored Fire Dragon to enter with room to spare.

Why did the short goblins build such large buildings? Was it because they lacked something and needed to use something else to fulfill their needs? Qi Bei thought to himself.
