Supreme Dragon Seal

Chapter 154.1 - Bloody Kiss, Netherworld Formation

In the dim cave, Qi Bei looked at Yan Shengyi, who had once again fallen unconscious, and couldn’t help but remember the situation when he encountered Yao Rao in the Undead Mountain Range.

However, though the scene was similar, the woman in front of him was not the same person.

His longing scratched lightly in Qi Bei’s heart like a cat’s claw, but it quickly brought him back to his senses.

Looking at the thin mask on Yan Shengyi’s face, Qi Bei felt the urge to take it off and catch a glimpse of her beauty. His hand instinctively reached out, but as soon as he touched the cold metal mask, he withdrew it.

“Forget it, what’s the point of looking? It’s better to leave some room for imagination,” Qi Bei thought to himself. He and the Chief Judge of the Light Temple were destined to have little interaction.

After an unknown amount of time, Yan Shengyi opened her eyes, struggling to sit up. She was alone in the cave, but the presence of another lingered in the air. She saw the bearded face in front of her.

“He saved me…” Yan Shengyi thought to herself. She remembered when the tentacles of the old ghost were about to catch up to her, the bearded man had taken her away from the clutches of the old ghost. His strength was not inferior to Earth-grade.

At this moment, Yan Shengyi reached up and touched the metal mask on her face, saying to herself, “Fortunately, he didn’t move. Otherwise, the Light Magic sealed in the seal would have turned him to ashes.”

If Qi Bei had heard these words, he might have broken out in a cold sweat. A single thought had unexpectedly taken him on a trip around the gates of hell.

Yan Shengyi took out a jade bottle from her spatial ring and poured out two fragrant pills, which she swallowed. She then sat cross-legged. Soon, a gentle holy light shimmered on her body, and her wounds began to heal on their own. However, the internal injuries were not so easily healed.

When Qi Bei flashed into the cave, Yan Shengyi had already changed out of her tattered armor, wearing only a white dress that accentuated her waist-length flowing hair, making her look like a celestial fairy.

“Awake? I knew the people of the Light Temple couldn’t be killed that easily,” Qi Bei chuckled.

Yan Shengyi’s serene and devout gaze flickered slightly. Could it be that the people of the Light Temple were truly indomitable? But those ten Judgment Knights had returned to the embrace of the Light God.

“You’re safe now. I should go,” Qi Bei said.

“Wait,” Yan Shengyi spoke up.

Qi Bei raised an eyebrow and looked at her.

“Take a look at your arm. Do you have black patterns?” Yan Shengyi asked.

Qi Bei immediately rolled up his sleeve and examined his arms. Sure enough, he saw a black pattern on his right arm.

“What is this?” Qi Bei asked.

“It’s the Netherworld God Mark. I have it on my arm too. Once we have this mark, we cannot escape the tracking of that old guy,” Yan Shengyi explained.

Qi Bei was taken aback and took a moment before saying, “Are you saying that we now have a mark on us and are being hunted?”

“Exactly. So it’s best if we stick together. My current strength is only at the Earth-grade. Two people are better than one,” Yan Shengyi suggested.

Qi Bei sensed his surroundings but didn’t perceive any trace of darkness. Even when he used the internal energy to probe the Netherworld God Mark, there was no response.

“The Netherworld God Mark… Are you saying that the old guy is a god from the Netherworld?” Qi Bei furrowed his brow and smiled bitterly. He hadn’t expected to attract such trouble.

“Something like that. That old guy was a subordinate of the God of Death in the past. During the war of the gods a hundred thousand years ago, he was trapped in the Void Blood Sea. Although he was seriously injured, he still possesses power close to the Saint level,” Yan Shengyi explained.

“He came out of the Void Blood Sea?” Qi Bei asked.

“No. If he had come out, we would both be dead by now,” Yan Shengyi clarified.

“Then what’s going on?” Qi Bei asked.

Yan Shengyi pondered for a moment, seemingly considering whether or not to tell him. But after a short while, she decided to speak, saying, “Some time ago, there were several undead riots in the northwest region. So, I came down with ten Judgment Knights to investigate. We followed some clues and ended up falling into a trap. A necromancer from the dark faction led us to a spatial fissure that led to the Void Blood Sea. We were all swept in, and in order to save me, the ten Judgment Knights sacrificed their lives and activated the Light Mourning Ritual. That’s how I managed to escape.”

So that’s how it is! Qi Bei understood in his heart. It must have been the work of the dark forces infiltrating the Bimon tribe’s army. He had known that every country had dark forces infiltrating, but he hadn’t expected to find such a big fish in the Bimon tribe’s army.

But thinking of big fish, the dark mage Wutian should also be a big fish, except that he had accidentally killed him.

“It seems like you have a high position in the Light Temple. Why don’t you immediately inform the Light Temple and send strong individuals to eliminate that old guy?” Qi Bei asked.

Yan Shengyi shook her head and said, “You’re thinking too simplistically. Once we have the Netherworld God Mark, no information can be transmitted out of this northwest region.”

Qi Bei’s mind stirred, and he said, “So, all we have to do is leave the northwest region?”

“That’s right. That old guy is still trapped in the Void Blood Sea, and his power has greatly diminished. His perception range is limited, and he can’t personally come to hunt us down. He can only send his minions. As long as we escape the northwest region, he won’t be able to track us anymore,” Yan Shengyi explained.

Qi Bei felt a bit frustrated. Anyone would be frustrated in such a situation. However, at this point, he had nothing to say. He wouldn’t regret what he had done but would only regret what he hadn’t done.

“I’m Yan Shengyi, the Chief Judge of the Light Temple. What’s your name? Where are you from?” Yan Shengyi asked, clearly not recognizing Qi Bei.

Qi Bei’s thoughts shifted, and he said, “Call me Hu Zi. I’m a lonely adventurer. As for the rest, it’s better not to ask.”

Yan Shengyi looked deeply at Qi Bei, nodded, and indeed didn’t ask any further.

“We should leave quickly. Escaping to safety is the most important thing,” Qi Bei said.

Almost simultaneously, Qi Bei and Yan Shengyi’s gazes flickered, and they suddenly attacked the arm-like figures that shot out of the ground like lightning, grabbing at their feet.

“Clang! Clang!” The fierce attack only left shallow wounds on the thin arm-like figures. Not a drop of blood seeped out.

“The Corpse King! Run!” Yan Shengyi shouted, but as soon as she spoke, she realized that Qi Bei had already rushed out.

Having been lurking in the Undead Mountains for so long, Qi Bei was well acquainted with the undead. Although he had never seen the Corpse King before, he could guess from the density of death energy and the appearance of the arm.

The Corpse King was a presence comparable to a Heaven-Rank expert, even difficult to encounter in the Undead Mountains. He hadn’t expected that the small god from the Netherworld, who was trapped, could summon the Corpse King to deal with them.

Two individuals who were only equivalent to Earth-Rank experts could never be opponents of the Corpse King, so they could only escape in a pitiful manner. Just think about it, that old guy wouldn’t send some small fry to let them practice.

As soon as the two rushed out of the cave, they found dozens of advanced undead surging towards them at the cave entrance.

“Divine Light Burst!” Yan Shengyi swung her Judgment Sword. Dozens of divine light spheres burst among the undead horde.

The power of the holy light had a restraining effect on undead creatures, so some of the weaker undead were purified by the holy light, while the movements of the others slowed down.

However, Yan Shengyi’s attack also caused her own figure to pause for a moment. In that instant, the Corpse King, covered in jade-like armor and with disheveled hair, had already caught up with lightning speed. Its sharp claws reached for Yan Shengyi’s back.

Yan Shengyi’s Judgment Sword, after swinging dozens of light spheres, naturally pointed backward, precisely at the center of the Corpse King’s palm.

“Roar…” The Corpse King let out a roar. Its immovable palm pushed against the tip of Yan Shengyi’s sword, while at the same time, the dense rolling death qi rapidly began to erode the divine light on the Judgment Sword. In the blink of an eye, it reached the hilt. However, at this moment, her power had merged with the Judgment Sword, making it impossible for her to move or even discard the sword.

Qi Bei swung his heavy sword, releasing a roaring dragon shadow that struck the Corpse King’s chest, while simultaneously releasing his internal energy.

An astonishing thing happened. The Corpse King’s entire body stiffened and was repeatedly shaken back by the successive bursts of Divine Dragon Art’s internal energy. Its palm naturally released Yan Shengyi’s Judgment Sword, and the eroding death qi lost its source and quickly dissipated.

Qi Bei grabbed Yan Shengyi’s hand and ran for his life.

The Corpse King roared continuously, relentlessly chasing after them.

“What do we do?” Qi Bei asked anxiously. The Corpse King was extremely fast, and he was afraid it would catch up to them soon.

At this moment, Yan Shengyi’s gaze swept over a dense forest below. She gritted her teeth, suddenly turned around, and threw out a jade plaque from her body. Immediately, the jade plaque emitted a light more dazzling than the sun, causing the Corpse King, which was chasing closely behind, to momentarily daze.

Yan Shengyi, pulling Qi Bei, who was also momentarily dazzled, swiftly darted into the forest.

“Conceal!” Yan Shengyi lightly shouted. On her delicate and petite earlobe, an earring embedded with a small piece of white jade shattered, and her figure disappeared instantly.

At the same time, Qi Bei felt his lips being covered by a soft and moist little mouth, and his figure also immediately disappeared from the original spot.

Just as his figure vanished, the Corpse King appeared nearby, its pair of lifeless eyes scanning the surroundings.

The Corpse King had awakened its intelligence and was no different from a normal human. It guessed that Qi Bei and Yan Shengyi should be nearby, but they had disappeared without a trace.

Qi Bei felt relieved that the Corpse King couldn’t detect their presence. Naturally, he knew that Yan Shengyi kissed him to help conceal their figures.

Their bodies were tightly pressed together, and Qi Bei could clearly feel the softness of Yan Shengyi’s body, especially her bosom against his chest, which felt exceptionally good.

Qi Bei’s heart suddenly stirred, and his hands quietly embraced Yan Shengyi’s slender waist. He lightly kissed her petal like lips.

Yan Shengyi’s body stiffened, and her calm and beautiful eyes suddenly turned sharp, silently warning Qi Bei.

Qi Bei knew to stop, having only lightly kissed her lips. He felt the fragrance enveloping him, making even the saliva in his mouth taste sweet.

The Corpse King hadn’t given up its search and slowly approached the two of them.

Both of their bodies tensed up simultaneously, and through their chests pressed tightly against each other, they could feel each other’s thunderous heartbeat.

In the midst of tension, Qi Bei’s lower body unexpectedly became nervous as well, and it swelled and hardened, pressing firmly against the softness between Yan Shengyi’s legs.

Yan Shengyi stared at Qi Bei with a murderous gaze, but the Corpse King was right beside them. She couldn’t make any movements.

It wasn’t intentional, Qi Bei innocently looked at Yan Shengyi.
