〈 Episode 1 〉 Prologue

A stream formed by the blood flowing from the piled corpses, and the soaked soil became muddy.

Above, in the distant sky, a flock of crows gleamed their eyes amidst the drifting scenery.

At the center of this grim scene, a man sat atop the corpses.

Draped in a black cloak and wearing practical armor, the man silently stared into the void.

His fingers brushed through that void, as if something were there.

To an observer, it would appear as madness, but he continued to silently focus on what only he could see.

What appeared before his eyes, to his perception, was a game screen, a quest window.

At the center of that quest window was a list that extended endlessly with a scroll.

The man’s fingers pressed firmly at the center.

[Completed Sub-Quests]

[ ! Purge of the Nechagni Battlefield]

[Elimination of the Mountain Trolls]

[Destruction of the Black Dagger Gang]

The list was long, numbering in the hundreds.

The man narrowed his eyes as he looked at the list. The emotion that lingered on his face was resignation.

His teal eyes shifted upwards again.

There was another list.

A very sparse one.

[None]

When the game he had enjoyed and loved became his reality, he was confused but also excited.

He believed that one day, he would leave this place and look back on it as a memory. He thought that if he completed all the main quests, he would be sent home.

But the world was not so accommodating.

It had been 12 years since he entered the game, Eternal Dominion.

He was still Aslan, the game character he had created himself.
