"I am Shiro, and I request to become a ninja of the Hidden Leaf Village!" Shiro declared seriously, his eyes fixed intently on Danzo.

Danzo, however, remained calm and composed, sitting leisurely in his chair, showing no intention of responding. The two elders beside him also did not dare to speak first.

"My lords, Shiro played a significant role in rescuing the Third Hokage! He even managed to injure Orochimaru, proving himself to be a qualified ninja!" Aburame Ryoto said anxiously.

"I'm aware he's a qualified ninja, but considering that Shiro has been away for so many years, we don't want another Kabuto situation, do we? So, before he can become a Leaf ninja, he must undergo an investigation," Danzo said with an expressionless face, though a chilling killing intent shot out from his body.

*Ding!* Task selection triggered!

1. Cooperate with Danzo's investigation. Reward: Byakugan.

2. Leave the village and become a rogue ninja. Reward: Eight Gates.

3. Reject Danzo and argue back! Reward: Two Tomoe Sharingan.

I choose 3!

No matter what, the outcomes of options 1 and 2 would be similar. I might as well choose 3 and give it a shot!

"Danzo, how dare you bring up Kabuto! You, as the leader of Root, allowed a spy from the Sound Village to stay in the Hidden Leaf for years. How could you possibly have no responsibility in that?" Shiro scoffed coldly.

For a moment, everyone in the room was stunned.

No one expected a twelve-year-old child to speak so boldly and sharply!

"Shiro! What are you trying to say?" 

"What I'm saying is, you don't deserve to investigate me! My loyalty should be judged by all the ninjas and residents of the Hidden Leaf! As for you, someone who allowed an enemy spy to remain here for years, you are not qualified!"

"You...!"

"The Uchiha clan has been loyal to the Hidden Leaf since the days of the First Hokage! No petty person will ever succeed in driving a wedge between the Uchiha and the village!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Danzo's heart skipped a beat, and his eyes locked onto Shiro with intensity.

Not waiting for Danzo to react, Shiro grabbed the forehead protector from the table and tied it around his own forehead.

"Lords! From this moment, I'm officially a genin of the Hidden Leaf. You have no objections, right?"

"Well! You're quite something, Uchiha Shiro. I'll remember your name!" Danzo sneered, his eyes staring at Shiro like a venomous snake.

"Thanks for that!" Shiro smiled slightly and, not wanting to stay any longer, turned to leave. Aburame Ryoto bowed and quickly followed him.

"Shiro! That was too reckless! Lord Danzo controls Root, and with what you just said, you'll never escape their watch!"

Shiro shrugged indifferently.

Danzo would surely try to get rid of him to eliminate any potential threat. Sasuke was only spared because of Itachi and the Third Hokage; otherwise, his eyes would have been taken long ago!

But Shiro wasn't afraid.

Even though he was technically a genin, with his Two Tomoe Sharingan and Sage Body, his strength was already close to that of a jonin. Give him a little more time, and he would surely reach elite jonin, or even Kage level!

Once he mastered Naruto's technique, whether he stayed or left would be up to him.

"Ryoto, you go back. I need to meet two people."

"Alright, but be careful on the way!"

Shiro smiled bitterly, understanding Ryoto's concern.

But now that he was in the village, there were three people he had to meet.

After wandering around the Leaf Village for a while, Shiro stopped in front of a ramen shop. Above the shop, the words "Ichiraku" were written in large letters.

Lifting the curtain, he saw a blond-haired boy slurping ramen with a satisfied expression on his face.

"Naruto!"

The blond boy paused, his mouth full of ramen as he turned his head in confusion.

"You are…" Naruto thought for a moment, then stood up excitedly, shouting, "You're Uchiha Shiro! The hero of the Hidden Leaf!"

Shiro scratched his head with a bitter smile.

The "hero of the Hidden Leaf" that Naruto was talking about had just been considering becoming a traitor to the village.

Still, his performance during the war had indeed earned him the title of hero.

Seeing no one else around, Shiro quickly leaned over to Naruto and whispered in his ear, "Naruto, the move you used to defeat the Third Hokage, can you show it to me?"

"The move that defeated the Third Hokage?" Naruto scratched his head, puzzled. After thinking for a moment, he suddenly exclaimed, "Oh! You mean that move!"

"Yes, yes! That one!"

Shiro's heart surged with joy. In his eyes, that E-rank jutsu was even more valuable than Rasengan or Chidori.

With that jutsu, combined with the Shadow Clone technique, he could master a long-dreamed-of skill!

It would be the ultimate blessing for the single, the dream technique for all straight-laced guys!

Naruto gulped down the rest of his ramen in one big bite, wiped his mouth, and jumped off his stool.

"If you were someone like Pervy Sage, I wouldn't agree. But you're a hero of the Leaf! I won't refuse!"

Shiro's breath quickened as he activated his Sharingan, determined not to miss a single detail.

Naruto eyed Shiro suspiciously, feeling like the hero in front of him was somehow the same type as Jiraiya.

But since he had no evidence, he dared not say it out loud.

"Uchiha Shiro! You're my target now! I'm going to be Hokage! And now, for my original jutsu! Ninja Art—"

"Naruto! Naruto!"

Just as Naruto was about to perform his legendary jutsu, a hurried voice interrupted them.

Naruto quickly stopped what he was doing.

Soon, a pink-haired girl rushed over. Seeing Naruto, she looked as if she had found her savior.

"Naruto! Sasuke's gone missing!"

Shiro's brow furrowed.

Rather than call her Sakura Haruno, Shiro preferred to call her "Sakura the Manipulator."

She claimed to like Sasuke but never gave Naruto a clear answer. Sometimes, she even flirted with Naruto!

No matter what happened, her first instinct was always to seek Naruto's help.

It was as if Naruto sacrificing everything for her was just natural, while a simple glance from Sasuke would make her swoon. She was the ultimate manipulator!

And now, once again, she was asking Naruto for help!

Especially when she interrupted Shiro and Naruto's innocent exchange of jutsu—unforgivable!

And definitely not for any other reason!

But the second person Shiro wanted to meet was none other than Sasuke Uchiha, who also possessed the Sharingan.

"I'll go with you to find him!" Shiro said, frowning.

As soon as Shiro and the others left, several figures appeared, their eyes filled with killing intent.

"Uchiha Shiro! So that's him!"
