Chapter 1: CHAPTER 2: THE NEW PANTHEONS
As Kratos trudged across the desolate land, the air seemed to hum with a peculiar energy. His Spartan instincts sharpened, sensing the presence of beings far greater than mortals. On the horizon, a massive temple loomed, its spires twisting unnaturally toward the chaotic skies. The architecture bore no resemblance to the Olympian grandeur he had destroyed, but its majesty was undeniable.
A deep, booming voice interrupted his thoughts. "Another wanderer, lost in the Realm of Eternum?"
Kratos turned sharply, his piercing gaze locking onto a figure emerging from the shadows. The being was immense, clad in obsidian armor, with eyes glowing like molten gold. "I am Aetherion, Warden of the Nexus," the figure declared. "You tread upon sacred ground of the New Pantheon. State your purpose, or be cast into the Void."
Kratos stood silent, his scars and smoldering fury speaking louder than words.
"Ah," Aetherion sneered, stepping closer. "Another arrogant fool seeking challenge. Do you not know the gods of old hold no power here?"
Kratos's lip curled. "Gods fall," he said coldly. "I have seen it."
With a swift motion, Aetherion raised his massive blade. "Prove your worth, mortal, or perish!"
Kratos's muscles tensed as the first blow fell.
