That Time I Got Reincarnated By Veldanava

It has been a month since Henrik saved the students and recruited Ramiris to work full time in the kingdom. In that time, despite her hesitating, Henrik convinced her to send an invitation to the other Demon Lords, and to Henrik's surprise, they accepted it.

All except Milim.

The Labyrinth had been made and the genetically engineered monsters Henrik captured in Dwargon had ben released as area bosses. In this time, most monster tribes had sworn loyalty to Henrik after meeting Shuna, so the floor bosses were mostly sorted.

All that was left from the main story was the orc disaster, then Henrik's kingdom would be mostly up to season three's endings. He didn't wish to recruit Zegion, as he never really liked him. He did intend on summoning Diablo, in fact. He intended to summon him during the party. Demonstrating to everyone his power as he summon and made a Primordial Daemon his subordinate.

The only reason he wanted to summon Diablo is because of his incredible intellect and cunning, as well as the idea of having a whole bloodline of Daemons serving him was too good to pass up. Especially if Guy Crimson would be a problem.

In the past month, Henrik had also established the concept of existence values. He told his subordinates how they were calculated and how to improve them. All of his main subordinates were the same as their volume 21 selves with the exception of Ranga thanks to his customary evolution. Ranga's existence value was 45 million, quite above Guy's who was estimated to be 40-42 million.

He also tested himself, Veldanava, Lucia and Shizu. The results surprised him greatly. Lucia, despite being a high human, was only 34,000. It didn't really surprise him though as Lucia was never a warrior who pursued power. Instead, she was contempt with her result as she just wanted to live a happy and peaceful life.

His own existence value was 438,000,000. This is what shocked him, he knew he was powerful, but this was beyond anything. What really shocked him was that this didn't seem to be because of [Veldanava, God of Creation], but instead was the result of [King Of The Heroes, Arthur]. It seemed he was always drawing from Heroes powers, but he'd only get their full power when he wanted too.

Veldanava's EP was the highest of all. 9,999,999,999. This wasn't surprising at all given him having multiple ultimate skills and literally being God without Godhood.

Then there was Shizu, her EP was 430,000,000. And she was only at the complete saint stage. If she became a divine human, Henrik had no doubt she's outnumber him, which is why [Raphael] has warned him about Shizu.

Now, though, everyone was ready. Nations from all over accepted an invite to a party and Henrik intended to show them his power. Not to make them fear him, instead, to make them trust him. His alliance depended on the idea that he could keep the 11 Great Demon Lords in line. And today was his chance to show he can.

"Lord Henrik," A voice sounded from outside Henrik's office and he immediately knew the voice.

"Gale, come in."

After being told he could come in, Gale entered the office and bowed to Henrik slightly.

"Please, don't bow to me. I only allow it around Shizu because to be honest, she's scary. But when we're in private, you don't need to do it."

"But Lord Henrik, you saved Chloe. Saved us all. Gave us a home and a future we wouldn't have without you. And after all that, you don't expect any kind of service as repayment. Bowing is the least I can do."

"Yes, I suppose that makes sense. But we've been over this multiple times since we met. You don't need to repay me because I'm just keeping a promise. If I ever go above and beyond outside of a promise, then you can repay me. Now sit. The party is in a few hours, and I know Shizu told you all to spend the day getting ready. It must be important if you're here."

"Yes lord Henrik," Gale said as he sat down. "May I ask you something lord Henrik. Something Miss Shizu might shout at me for asking you."

"Of course. It'll be our little secret."

"Well, these people coming here today. Some of them are the Demon Lords, right? Will the one who harmed Chloe be here? Because if she is, I don't know if I'll be able to hold myself back. I may die but..." Gale tried to say before Henrik appeared next to him and lightly slapped him across the head.

"Enough of that. I didn't spend my time, Ramiris' time, Veldanava's time and Shizu's time saving you so you can so recklessly throw your life away. I get as the oldest you feel a duty of care towards the other kids. But you're no good to them dead.

It's not your job to protect them, it's mine. And Shizu's. And it's our job to protect you too. One day, when you're older and stronger, you're welcome to, encouraged even, to protect them. I have no doubt that one day you'll be a fine warrior, but right now you are a kid.

I have lived longer than I look. In fact, I'm so old, I make Ramiris look like a baby. So trust me, you don't know life yet. Gale, you have no idea how much the other kids love and need you.

Being a big brother doesn't mean being dead for something as petty as revenge. It means looking out for them forever. If you die, they'll truly never recover.

Now, you've been told enough. I will hear no more of this. But I promise, Noelle is forbidden from these lands. If she ever comes here, especially with the intention of harming you kids, I'll deal with her personally.

She hasn't been invited, and showing up, it'll be suicide. I will keep you all safe, you just focus on being a kid and listening to Shizu. She's going to be the leader of the Hero corps, if you want to be a warrior and protect them one day, impress her and show her you're strong enough to join. Okay?"

"Yes, Lord Henrik." Gale said upset with himself.

"Good, now go get dressed."

"Lord Henrik, do you... do you think lady Shuna will dance with me?"

Henrik gained a large smirk as he appeared at the side of Gale and started lightly pulling his cheek.

"So, you like Shuna ahh? Well, I don't know. She's quite popular, but maybe if you ask nice enough. And survive Benimaru's death stares," Henrik teased before Gale ran away in embarrassment. When he left, he barged past Shuna as she was entering the office.

"Hello Gale," She tried to greet him but he was already down the hall. "Lord Henrik," Shuna said as she came into the room and sat down.

"Yes Shuna?"

"Is Gale alright?"

"Yes, he's just got a little crush. You know how boys at that age are."

"Aww, I remember when Benimaru got his first crush. It was on this ogre from another tribe, he blushed so much around her."

"Okay, I need you to tell me everything in the future. Totally not so I can tease your brother or anything," Henrik badly lied.

"Of course. Anything to not embarrass Benimaru," Shuna giggled slightly.

"What about you? You had a crush?"

"Me?" Shuna said flushed. "Well, there was this one boy. But he was in the village when..." Shuna says before she stopped as she remembered the sights of her people dead.

"I know. Shuna, I know you guys have been patient, but I promise. You'll get your chance to get back soon. I don't like revenge, but since most monster tribes have sworn loyalty to me, that means I have to protect them. And the orc disaster is a big problem. Two birds one stone."

"Yes my lord. Now, it's time to get ready for the party. Every Demon Lord except Milim Nava has confirmed their attendance. Demon Lord Leon was hesitant, but Souei recently saw him going to the Ice Continent. After asking lady Ramiris, we think that Guy heard of his hesitance and is making him attend."

"I see. So, a few hours and we will either be at war with the Demon Lords, or the world will know we can keep them in line. Since I evolved you all, I have no doubt we'd win, but I'd rather not fight if possible.

Has Souei's clones in the Eastern Empire reported anything?"

"No Lord Henrik, they've gotten quite close to the capitol now, but they're being extremely cautious. With the hero Rudra and the True Dragon Velgrynd there, it's best if we don't risk antagonising the Empire on the same day we're hosting the Demon Lords.

There's something else my lord."

"What is it?"

"There are two problems that we need to decided what to do on. Hinata Sakaguchi and Grand Master Yuuki. Hinata poses a threat to us, and Yuuki has refused all attempts at a conversation with you. Recently, Shizu sent a letter to her former student, he replied saying he'll consider it. But Shizu doesn't believe he will.

And then there's Hinata. She is the strongest warrior in the Western Holy Church, in the past, she has beaten both Louis and Roy Valentine at once. And she's only gotten stronger since. The only known person we can confirm to be stronger than her is Demon Lord Luminous Valentine.

There's also the issue of them being Shizu's students. You made a promise to keep them safe, it's possible that Shizu took that to mean her former students too."

"I know Shuna. In fact, Shizu and I have discussed what we'll do if her former students become the enemy. She agrees that they're old enough to know what they're doing. If they come looking to kill, she will side with us. I'd rather not kill them, but if we have too, that's an option."

"Very well. Lastly, before you start getting ready, the clone you placed over the seal has confirmed it. The orc disaster has deteriorated the seal. Charibys is rising. It's likely tonight that the beast will rise. Shall Souei's clone dispose of it should it arise?"

"No. I intend to deal with it personally. Charibys will be the sacrifice that shows my power. It's true the Demon Lords are all stronger than it except Clayman, but to the foreign dignitaries that'll be here, they won't know that."

"Very well Lord Henrik. Lord Veldanava and Veldora are both ready and waiting. I'll have them wait outside your entrance to the party," Shuna said as she stood up and walked towards the door to let Henrik change.

Today, as Henrik's public debt, his fashion team had designed some regal clothes for him, he even had a blue, majestic robe to go with it. And a crown that was formed by crystallised greater elementals that Ramiris gave him. The crown was God grade and when activated, could boost his EP by 1 million for each elemental. Up to 9 million total.

I should say that I'm contractually obligated to say it totally isn't because she got manga for making the crown.

After a few hours of preparing, Henrik was ready and waiting outside the doors that led to the ball room with his princes and princess.

"Announcing his majesty, Henrik, King of The Great Lazek Kingdom. And their royal highnesses, Prince Veldanava, Princess Lucia Nava and Prince Veldora."

After Rigurd as prime minister announced them, the doors swung open and the four of them walked in to cheers of the people in the room. When they got in, Henrik and Veldanava went down the right staircase and Lucia and Veldora down the left. Looking out over the room, Henrik could see people like Gazel, Drum Blumund and his wife and multiple other diplomats that accepted the invitation.

Suddenly, Henrik, Veldanava, Veldora, Benimaru, Souei, Shion, Shizu, Shuna, Hakurou and Gazel all looked to a corner of the room that no one was standing in. Out of no where, a large door rose from the ground and open, before anything walked through, other with keen senses could detect the dark power coming from within.

Henrik, along with Shizu, Shion and Benimaru appeared in front of the door.

"Well well well. Sorry we're late, but Dino was taking a while. You have no idea how glad we were to be invited. Thanks for the invite, King Henrik," An arrogant voice sounded as 8 people walked out of the door. From left to right, Henrik immediately identified them.

They were the Demon Lords. Dagruel, Dino, Leon Cromwell, Guy Crimson, Luminous Valentine, Frey, Carrion and Clayman. The guest of honour.

"So, this is the new king who brazenly challenged us? I gotta admit, I expected someone taller," Guy said with a large smile on his face.

"Guy Crimson," Henrik said with clear spite in his voice. The two of them stared at each other with obvious contempt, and while the surrounding party goers were scared of the Demon Lords that were here, they were also inspired by Henrik's clear bravery in the face of such power.
