The Ancient Wizards of Hogwarts

Chapter 8 The old guy exploded with gold coins!

"Ah, this is it."

Ollivander took down a long box from a high place and opened it carefully. Inside was a brand new silver-white wand. Mr. Ollivander said in an extremely gentle voice:

"Elderberry, phoenix feathers, and..."

Ollivander paused for a moment, as if he was about to speak. After a while, he said:

"Well, fourteen and one-half inches. Believe me, it's an extraordinary piece of art!"

Snape and Harry looked over at the same time, but didn't notice anything strange.

Under Mr. Ollivander's encouraging gaze, Ash picked up his wand and waved it gently.

A soft silver-white light emanates from the top of the wand, making the pattern of the wand appear even more mysterious and extraordinary under the light.

"Perfect." Mr. Ollivander shouted in surprise:

"Mr. Black, you may be the only person in the world who can perfectly control this wand!"

Harley asked with some confusion:

"Mr. Ollivander, why do you know Ash's last name?"

As soon as she asked the question, she suddenly thought of the answer - Ash just said that this wand was commissioned by his family's ancestors. Mr. Ollivander may not know Ash's surname, but he must know the family that Ash belongs to. It's the Black family.

Harry blushed and hesitated, not knowing what to do.

Ash smiled and explained:

"A hundred years ago, the Ollivander family recovered a family heirloom that had been lost more than a hundred years ago. It was an applewood wand with fairy wings as the core. It was of extraordinary significance to the Ollivander family."

"Yes."

Ollivander sighed:

"The person who recovered the heirloom for the Ollivander family is Mr. Black's ancestor, the hero Black."

"This wand was supposed to be given to him by my great-grandfather. Unfortunately, Mr. Black died in a battle to defend Hogwarts. This wand has been kept by the Ollivander family until today. Found its owner."

Ollivander's eyes were extremely pleased, as if he had witnessed some kind of historical change.

"Hero Black?"

Harley muttered in a low voice, suddenly realizing that Ash was different from her. He came from a wizarding family with a long history, and there were ancestors in the family who were awarded the title of 'hero', which may be a symbol of the glory of the Black family.

Snape glanced sideways at Ash, completely unaware that Black, the hero of her words, was standing in front of them.

It's certainly not Harley's fault.

In fact, if Snape hadn't seen it with his own eyes, he wouldn't have believed it.

"Harley!"

Hagrid's loud shout came again from outside the store, and the half-giant who smelled of alcohol burped after shouting. Apparently, while Harry was picking out her wand, Hagrid went to the Leaky Cauldron for a drink, or possibly more than one.

Ash watched Harley trot out to meet Hagrid, shook his head and said:

"Allowing him to take care of the kids was definitely the wrong choice."

Snape still didn't respond, but judging from his expression, he thought so too.

His eyes were a little sulky, wanting to blame Hagrid for being irresponsible. He wished he could go back and tell Dumbledore now, asking him to find someone else to take care of Harry. At least he couldn't leave Harry behind like Hagrid every time. Went to the Leaky Cauldron for a drink alone.

Hagrid said while hiccupping:

"Harry, have you bought your wands? It's time for us to go. I have to get you on the train back to the Dursleys."

"See you at the beginning of school, Harley."

Ash smiled and waved goodbye to Harley.

"See you at the beginning of school."

Harry smiled sweetly in return and followed Hagrid towards the Leaky Cauldron.

"Harry, who bought your owl? Is it the boy named Ash?"

"A birthday present from Snape? Oh, that's exactly what he deserves."

"What? That boy gave you a phoenix feather? Merlin's beard, I've always wanted one!"

"Ah, sorry, Harley, I didn't want your thing, it was your precious gift, of course, of course..."

Harry and Hagrid were getting further and further away, but Hagrid's loud voice could be heard clearly in the ears of Ash and Snape even though they were far apart.

Ash looked at Snape, who kept looking in the direction where Harry left, unable to regain his consciousness for a long time.

Ash's eyes moved slightly and he said deliberately:

"We still have to buy a crucible..."

"No."

Snape looked down at Ash and said calmly:

"I am the Potions Professor. I can prepare these things for you. Now we have to go back to Hogwarts."

He must immediately suggest to Dumbledore that Hagrid should be replaced, preferably by a responsible and trustworthy Hogwarts professor!

Snape couldn't wait to take Ash to the nearest fireplace and straight back to Hogwarts.

But before he could set off, an owl flew towards them with a letter in its talons.

When it flew over them, it dropped the letter and flew to other places in an instant.

Snapped!

Snape took the envelope, looked at the name 'Dumbledore' written on it, and immediately opened the letter.

Inside there was a key that shone like gold, and a letter.

"What does it say?"

Ash asked, his expression moving slightly.

He knew that the letter must be related to him.

Snape scanned the contents of the letter, handed the letter, envelope and key to Ash, and said:

"It seems that you don't need to come back to Hogwarts with me. Dumbledore has other plans for you."

Ash raised an eyebrow, took the key and envelope, and asked:

"The Black family?"

Snape corrected:

"No, it's Weasley."

At this time, Ash also saw the content of the letter:

"Dear Mr. Black:

This key is a relic of Professor Figo. It can open vault No. 542 of Gringotts. I think this should belong to you.

In addition, the descendants of Professor Weasley would like to meet you. Professor Snape will take you to the Weasley family, and they will treat you as a descendant of the 'heroic' Black. You can temporarily stay with the Weasleys before school starts.

Don't worry, the Weasleys are nice people, just like Professor Weasley. "

"Professor Weasley's descendants want to see me?" Ash murmured in a low voice.

"I think so."

Snape nodded lightly, led Ash into a nearby shop, and walked straight towards the fireplace inside the shop.

Ash had a look of nostalgia and confusion on his face, but he was thinking about something else:

Even if Professor Weasley's descendants really wanted to see him, how could they possibly know about him?

Apparently, Dumbledore told them this.

And this also reveals Dumbledore's intention to a certain extent - he let Ash get in touch with the Weasley family instead of the Black family. In a sense, he hopes that Ash will become a person like the Weasley family instead of the Black family. Pure-blooded supreme beings like the Black family.
